[8.0] "The show was very good and enjoyable and the creed and DIY competition was great. The main event match was of good quality and we saw very high quality promos (3 good promos). In addition to this, the process of making Candice Lerae's character is going very well like last week. Overall, it was a very good show and I give this show 8 points."

[8.0] "I dont think Ive ever had so much whiplash when it comes to booking decisions. How is this the same company who gave belts to Nemeth and Riddle just a month ago? This cup has quickly gone from quite poor in my opinion to really good through interesting narratives and some great wrestling. You had the standard array of multi-man bouts which werent anything special but largely did their job, as well as a quite good LIJ vs United Empire tag. Then were on to the semi-main which was just excellent in my opinion, both men really put in a shift and I wasnt sure as to who would take it throughout, perfect decision to have Tsuji go over, and the manner in which he did made him look like a total star. In the main we had quite an old school matchup which frankly overdelivered. It was a really excellent display of what Goto still has to give, while showing the world just how good SANADA is, he played the desperate bastard a bit to start which made for an interesting dynamic; but that meant by the time Goto won, the crowd was firmly at his back. This show is everything I enjoy about NJPW currently and Im so happy with the booking of this cup (at least post first round)"

[5.0] "Mikey Nicholls & Zack Sabre Jr vs Boltin Oleg & Shoma Kato: Average match featuring young lions but another win for TMDK on this tour which was good to see [**]. DOUKI, Taichi & Yuya Uemura vs El Desperado, Togi Makabe & Tomohiro Ishii: Okay six man tag match, average solid action, Uemura getting the win by submission was good to see [**]. Ryusuke Taguchi & Tanga Loa vs Callum Newman & Great O-Khan: A okay tag team match, Callum Newman being on the receiving end of the fall this time by submission is not great [*1/2]. Chase Owens, Gabe Kidd & KENTA vs Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI: A house show standard multi man match, BC getting the win here was not surprising [*1/4]. El Phantasmo, Hikuleo, Shota Umino & YOH vs Jack Perry, Ren Narita, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi: A house show standard multi man match, nothing memorable happened here [**]. Los Ingobernables de Japon vs United Empire: Best multiman match on the card, interesting kind of preview for BOSJ with Hiromu and TJP as well as Hiromu vs Akira when they were in the ring at the same time, all others did their parts well [***]. Yota Tsuji vs EVIL: While it may have not been the best match, it also wasn't the worst match, the No Contest to start with was not the best way to go, but then the match got restarted and it was decent to be honest, the ending sequences with LIJ and HoT coming back out was actually quite interesting to watch, Tsuji winning was a surprise but also the right decision [***1/4]. Hirooki Goto vs SANADA: Really good main event, Hirooki Goto winning was surprising but really good, his match here was just as good as his previous NJC match with Chase Owens, SANADA gave a good performance here but wasn't good enough to win [****1/4]"

[9.0] "Mystery Wrestling is consistently one of the most entertaining wrestling shows you can watch. A lot of the matches are hilarious with their comedy but also will often have some great wrestling mixed in too. I can't recommend these shows enough to any fan looking for something a little different."

[4.0] "Not very good. Tsuiji / Uemura match was the only thing even remotely good and it was not good enough for me to pay attention to and give a review on it in particular. The title match was absolutely horrible. I don't understand how these two guys don't seem to get a good feel of how to wrestle each other when they were stable mates and JUST had a title defense against each other a month ago. I can't say I'm excited to watch New Japan Cup with matches like this on a major show, but I pay for New Japan World so I might as well."

[10.0] "Best episode of wrestling TV this year from a build to a PPV standpoint. While there were reservations about Gable not being in the IC title picture at WrestleMania, Sami's work with Gunther swept all that aside immediately. Some great storytelling and the addition of Gable into the story was merited. There was an extra layer forcing Sami to reckon with himself and make a larger change to his existing style after a losing streak. The matches also delivered for the most part with the Creeds vs DIY being my particular highlight. Thought Cody had a great riposte to The Rock as well. If you're into the WWE product, you'll really enjoy this episode of RAW."

[10.0] "What an absolutely exceptional raw and one of the best raws of this year and possibly the best on the road to mania. Loved every match on this show but especially the promo segments. This show really had a little bit of everything. Starting with diy and creeds I wish they could both be in the ladder match. It started off slightly sloppy however it got absolutely insane later on and the creeds especially showed out and it was reminiscent of a takeover main event. From that we move on to candice larae which I am really invested in recently and am loving this new charachter that she is becoming. From her Nxt days she has had alot of potential and Im glad that shes being used more. We then moved on to Cody promo which was an absolute necessity and was absolutely needed but my gof that may be a promo of the year. That was exceptional and as soon as you thing it cant get better a promo artist better than Cody walks out in the form of Paul heyman which just solidified it upping the stakes for this smackdown. Awesome truth continue to be one of the most over teams in all of wrestling and if they actually win the titles at mania it might be the biggest pop we have ever heard. Oh Yh Jimmy and hey also started their feud officially and like I predicted its just top tier story telling and both are criminally underated on the mic. Sami Chad and Gunther intertwined with eachother was great and I love the new gable being broody and looking like he hasnt slept which also just furthers how Sami is a huge underdog which he always looks the part. Drew and Seth absolutely cooked aswell with a much serious Seth which is the best Seth. The main event was crazy with Becky and nia doing two back to back insane spots ending a great raw and a great main event with a money shot of Rhea and Becky facing off 10/10"

[8.0] "This was a great show with several decent matches and plenty of story-building segments. The Usos segment was perfection and has me anticipating the hell outta this Mania match. Cody's save shows that Jey isn't alone at Mania. I'm expecting Attitude Era level shenanigans throughout both nights. It's gonna be so awesome. DIY beat the Creeds in a fucking great match to qualify for the ladder match at WM. Holy shit, we're getting a 12-man tag team ladder match at WrestleMania. I could not be more hyped for this. Not surprised I'm going off about Mania now. Shit, that's the feeling I'm supposed to be left with after a "19-days-away" Raw. The rest of the action tonight wasn't anything groundbreaking, but everything in between was beautiful. Cody Rhodes, I swear to god, cuts the best promo I've ever seen on a weekly basis. Just as Cody wrapped up a perfect response to Rock's promo, Heyman came down to set up the catch for Smackdown -- Roman will come alone if Cody does. I kinda wanted more from Heyman and Cody on the stick together, but Cody's promo was gold and Heyman's part got across what it needed to. Chad Gable told Sami Zayn that unless he changes his strategy, he can't beat Gunther. The contract signing put over Gunther's chilling confidence and Sami's doubtful determination. Can't wait to see the match. Becky beat Nia in a LWS match. Staredown with Rhea afterwards really sold how much they hate each other. Nothing more to say really. This show was awesome. It's crazy to think that shows like this are the norm in the Dub these days."

[6.0] "It's a historic show, but it's disappointing! I did enjoy the ECW stuff here. The matches was okay from their side of things although they are kept short as a way to introduce the talent to the fans. Sabu jumping off the Raw sign was a great spot, but for some reason its completely missed by the camera. Worse still is that annoying thing WWF was doing where they chose to do an Undertaker interview right at the end of Dreamer vs D-Von so the finish of the match is on split screen. Ridiculous! Heyman has the same kind of chemistry with Lawler as he did with JR four years later where the constant barbs they was throwing at each other made it look like they legit hated each other. Lawler is absolute peak heel with this storyline. Unfortunately Paul Heyman was right about this show sucking without ECW as everything outside of them is poor save for the LOD returning and Shamrock! The WWF matches are poor on this show where absolutely nothing goes to a finish and on top that they are bland to watch!"

[7.0] "Really solid episode of Collison: Danielson vs. Shibata was the best match of the night, tremendous match. Everything you could've possibly asked from these two right now. Adora vs. Hart was alright. Garcia vs. Moriarty was a really nice technical bout altough it was just five minutes long. I wish it could've lasted a bit more. Pac had a fun squash. Bryan Danielson cut an awesome promo hyping his match with Ospreay at Dynasty. Claudio vs. Archer was good, however, it was just 11 minutes long but it felt almost as twice as long. O'Reilly vs. Keith was a really good match, so happy to see Kyle back in action. He has some ring rust but overall looked great. Keith is super talented. Infantry vs. HOB was bad. Bravo and Dean didn't look good at all as they basically got destroyed for the entire match and Dean even botched a simple dive off the top rope. I wouldn't have minded them winning after a fiery babyface perfomance but like this, with Mark Briscoe interfering, just doesn't make them look good. Copeland cutting a promo was an odd way to end the show, the promo was definitely too short to be truly enjoyable but it was good for what it was. Overall: the main event brings this down a little bit and there were definitely too many matches but it was an enjoyable show. The opener carried it but there were also another couple of nice matches in there plus a couple of cool announcements."

[] "[10.0] What an incredible Monday Night Raw, incredible tag team action, The Creed Brothers vs DIY was the best tag match of the night, non stop action and moments that shouldnt be possible, Julias is a monster, awesome truth with the W in the tag team tournament going to WrestleMania is fantastic, New Day as well is great to see, Kofi known for ladder matches and Xavier will do good things as well. Sami Zayn & Chad Gable backstage altercations was awesome and what we need to stir up things if Gable will somehow be added for the Intercontinental Championship Match with Gunther but idk if it will happen. On the topic of Gunther, Sami and Gable, the contract signing was perfect and I can tell that there 1 one 1 match up will be up for MOTY possibly, both are some of the greatest wrestlers of our current generation. Ricochet & Dom Dom had a nice toss up also getting some good TV time and matchup was fun to see and nice to see Ricochet get a W also. Hopefully the people we dont think will make Mania get something of an opportunity to make it on the show somehow, if not, always next year. Cody Rhodes promo on The Rock was fantastic and hella entertaining, the jabs, the insults, the cussing and the non censoring was perfect and so so good to see and hear. Paul Heyman interrupting Cody to tell him that Roman Reigns will be alone on Smackdown this week, so in that case, Cody should be on his own on Smackdown, which Rhodes accepted and will be official. Seth Rollins coming out mid entrance of Drew McIntyre was hilarious and great mind games for the rivalry towards there Night 2 Mania match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Drew telling Setb that he wants the real side of Rollins not the goofy, laughing, wacky type Rollins was pretty interesting in my opinion, imagine an old entity of Seth coming back against McIntyre for a one night showing at Wrestlemania? Could be reaching but we never know, never say never when it comes to Professional Wrestling Then we come to the Main Event, Last Women Standing, Becky vs Nia, in my opinion, maybe everyone else, Nia Jax best singles match by far, great showing from her, shes been great to be fair since her return, the feud with Becky gave her a clean win over Becky also at Raw Day 1 and the spots and moments in this match made it a proper and traditional Last Man/Woman Standing Match no doubt. Becky sold and took executions of the manoeuvres well and looked like a badass through and through. The Man Handle Slam on the apron into the table was phenomenal and looked devastating, even got the fans in NC to chant Holy Shit lmao. Then the Leg Drop off the ladder through the announce table to the back of Nia for the 10 count was the perfect finish and a great visual for years to come. After Becky is about to get up to her feet as shes in the middle of the ring, The Womens World Champion Mami Rhea Ripleys music hits and with her incredible aura, presentation and how god mode she is lmao, comes into the ring with a very intense and powerful stare down of whats to come for WrestleMania 40 in Phili. Overall a Fantastic, fun and incredible show, expecting more greatness of the final Raws & Smackdowns before Wrestlemania Weekend happens. Hope everyone is doing well, enjoying their selfs, have a great rest of the week and stay safe. Appreciate all ya, Take care always. -The Big Mon NJG."

[4.0] "This felt like a house show. Almost nothing on here is worth watching. There's one decent match, and the segment of Sting getting kicked out of the Horsemen, but that's about it. We open with a fairly dull match between Steve Williams and the Samoan Savage that somehow still manages to be one of the best things on this show. Flyin' Brian and the Z-Man then take far too long to put the doughy MOD Squad away. Cactus Jack Manson then sacrifices his body to salvage something out of a dismal match up with Mil Mascaras. we are then treated to a terrible falls count anywhere match between Norman the Lunatic and Kevin Sullivan where we don't even get to see the finish. The Skyscrapers and the Road Warriors then have a fine match before The Steiner Brothers defended their World Tag Team Titles against Doom in the Match of the Night. Finally, we got a rushed and sloppy cage match between the Four Hoursemen and Gary Hart International."

[8.0] "Without the Jericho match this would've been easily a 9, however that match sucked and kinda took me out of the show for a bit. The rest of the night, however, was awesome. Mercedes Mone is All Elite! AEW's third major signing in the last three weeks and this one is an absolute game changer for the women's division. She delivered a fairly decent promo in the opening segment and then got involved in the main event as well with seeds being planted for lots of future match-ups. Can't wait to see what's next for her. Joe vs. Wardlow was a good opening bout. These two don't have the best chemistry but here I think they had their best match yet. The Elite vs. Pac, Penta and Kingston was my match of the night, just super fun and entertaining all around. I love this new version of Okada, pairing him with the Bucks was a genius idea and I was super happy to see Pac back in action. Will Ospreay cut a crazy-good promo on his upcoming match with Bryan Danielson. Really passionate with an awesome delivery, show it to anyone who says he's just a spot monkey and can't cut a promo. White vs. Allin was really good, nice chemistry between the two and the ending was wonderful. In the post-match we finally got freeded from that awful thing that was the Bang Bang Scissoring Gang as BCG turned on the Acclaimed, thank God. Lion-Hook vs. Gates of Agony was bad. Just bad. Does Jericho really needs to be on TV every week at 54? Willow vs. Riho was a really good main event, both ladies really brought their A-games to Boston and delivered two great perfomances. Post-match was also nice. Overall: lots of fun matches with some stories being advanced in front of a red-hot Boston crowd. AEW is back and I can't wait to see what's next for the company. Haven't been this hyped for the AEW product in quite a while."

[4.0] ""What The World Is Watching", except the MILLIONS of us who watched Clash Of The Champions 1 instead. How many times must it be said that Clash 1 was the better show? It was the better show btw. So guess who elementary school me chose to win this tournament? GUESS! Did you guess Bam Bam Bigelow? If so, here's a cupcake. All matches that meet the criteria are reviewed, so feel free to read the if you care. All matches that do not meet or exceed 5 minutes will get a small blurb here. Opening Battle Royal had a fun finish that I will always appreciate and in general it wasn't too bad (5.75). I can't review DiBiase vs Duggan but I think they did well for the time allowed and it established the additional threat of Andre tremendously, Ted also looked quite strong here (5.25). Don Muraco vs Dino Bravo is less than five minutes but feels more than twelve, at times it's completely awful (0.75). Ricky Steamboat vs Greg Valentine is a match I definitely liked (7.5). Butch Reed vs Randy Savage wasn't bad but was underwhelming (4.5). The One Man Gang vs Bam Bam Bigelow. I told you I thought Bigelow would take the big one. Kids are stupid. Apparently Bam Bam had a big time boo boo and needed surgery yesterday and even walking to the ring was probably murder for the guy. The match is two clubbing BO-hemoths and isn't that good but is still better than Muraco vs Bravo (2). Hulk Hogan's promo at this point is gawd awful STUPID. Here is where I will mention Bob Uecker doesn't put over despicable dipshit donny and calls the building what it is: THE CONVENTION CENTER. Bob Uecker gets a fist bump. Rick Rude vs Jake Roberts is staggeringly disappointing and borderline torture during the chinlocks (3.25). Hercules vs The Ultimate Warrior is about as trash as Bravo vs Muraco, because Warrior is blown up damn early and that finish sucked (0.75). Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan was a match that had a finish (0.75). Ted DiBiase vs Don Muraco ain't so bad, in fact it's decent (5.75). Greg Valentine vs Randy Savage is quite good but I wish it had more time (6). Honky Tonk Man vs Brutus Beefcake is somehow not the worst thing on the show (1). The British Bulldogs & Koko B Ware vs The Islanders & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is always better than I recall and I think it's because the show overall is so damn lackluster, that by this time even a match like this feels refreshing and not so bad (4.5). At this point I have to say "enough" and go to sleep. If I die in my sleep, it's a shame that this was the last wrestling event I watched. If I wake up alive I will FINISH this review and then do Clash Of The Champions 1 (I really hope I wake up alive). For now the average is a 3.67 rounded up and so far only two matches are a sure fire recommendation and they both have Greg Valentine!"

[6.0] "A good little 2 hours of TV. Nothing too spectacular, nothing that detracts. The Shibata / Danielson match was a little lackluster for me as a huge fan of both those guys. I ABSOLUTELY would rather watch that match on every AEW TV card for the rest of my life, but it didn't take the show past being a really good wrestling show or anything. Afterwards, we got a nice little sizzle package for Mone. I love her. Then we saw the Julia Hart / Trish Adora match which was sub-par because of Trish's work. She's so overrated. Afterwards we got a backstage segment to heat up Zac Knight and Harley Cameron. This shit belongs on Rampage. Then we get that frankly stellar Daniel Garcia / Lee Moriarity match. Danny is getting shined up real nice. I hope he keeps losing until we're ready to explode when he wins something meaningful. He's so good. This man has "future Ace of the promotion" written all over him. Then we're treated to a little injury report from Dynamite. Love to see it. I hope Jay White gets a shirt that says "I broke Darby's Foot." That makes the show feel very combat sports and VERY wrestling. Then we get a BEAUTIFUL little squash. PAC was like Aaron Solo, a bottom of the card on ROH, how about I squash him while showing off my best stuff and then cut a promo? So he did and it was great. Danielson backstage promo where we look at that GNARLY trap bruise looking worse. Just a little heater promo. Then we get the Claudio match where this dude does his same shit and refuses to lose. I'm not sick of that match, but I don't care for it and I really don't care for the 6 man feud we're clearly building to with The Righteous vs BCC. Backstage AGAIN with Saraya. Man, this Outcast program is really a time filler. Whenever Tony needs to fill a spot he reaches in the old bag and pulls this bad boy out. I don't like it. Get it back on Rampage. The KOR / Bryan Keith match was excellent! I love Keith and think that he really fits in so well on this roster and O'Reilly is the most adorable Aw Shucks murder machine in the world. It was a great match back and Keith trying to take advantage of Kyle's ring rust and making him think he was washed was SUCH good storytelling. Deonna Peruzza and Thunder Rosa interview segment. It was fine. Thunder Rosa is an incredible promo, but I don't believe her. I don't know why, I just don't believe her. Last match was hands down the worst match. HOB v Infantry was a disaster imo and you can read my review of that for me. Adam Copeland came out to cut an end of the show promo heating up his grudge match with Christian Cage and it was good enough. Really good for this promo light promotion and it hyped me for that match quite a bit. He's great for this promotion because he can talk OK and his workrate is up to standards, so I'm happy to have him on the show I like. Overall, I would not kick this episode of TV out of bed for eating crackers. I didn't skip anything and I wasn't left wanting, in other words, it was good television."

Most tag matches were good enough, some of them building up to other programs and future title matches and the 2 New Japan Cup matches delivered. [5.0] "It felt fresh and like a pre-Attitude Era show and even though it wasn't the best in terms of the match quality I was happy to escape the constant brawling for once. Old-school barricades, no garbage matches and most of the stuff kept in the ring. Some decent bouts here and there with Triple H vs The Rock leading the line, where they delivered a good contest with a big match feeling. Also Jarrett vs Brown and Jericho vs Road Dogg were quite enjoyable, while Bulldog vs X-Pac and Triple Threat Tag weren't bad. There were obviously some skippable matches like Kane vs Show or Godfather vs Gangrel, but even then the fans weren't bored and were chanting loudly. The only rotten thing was the women's Fatal 4 Way, but at least it didn't went long. Overall nothing incredible, but I always gladly watch these UK shows, as the atmosphere there feels like we're back to the 80s and early 90s."

The rest of the card was solid if unspectacular, but the stories they're helping to push were cohesive and should pay off. The Copeland promo was quite good, and a compelling way to end the show. None of the matches over-stayed their welcome so I never felt like I was waiting for a segment to end."

[8.0] "This was the event seen live by WWF writer Vince Russo young child from Long Island, the main event of this show was a shark cage match between newcomer Greg The Hammer Valentine vs Chief Jay Strongbow. So much absurd bushwah in the main event but it was the 70s where many false finishers took place. Previous matchup featured count out between a massive Gorilla Monsoon and the winner Nikolai Volkoff. Tito Santana defeating Jose Estrada with the flying burrito in 7 minutes and 28 seconds. Best match that night with a crown acquiesce of utilised talents Jose Estrada bumping around the buckles like crazy. Many say he is a best kept secret in the WWF that time. Two lower hand guys competed in an opener where Steve King beats Mario Mancinis future trainer Tony Altimore with barely any reaction. Another decent B list/real show during the prime WWWF era that didnt have Bruno Sammartino on."

[7.0] "First and foremost: What is going on with the tunnels? Do they stopped caring or what's up with this inconsistency? Danielson went back to being a face after he respected Kingston why the fuck is he coming off from the heel tunnel now? Especially for a Shibata match, his damn dream match. Then after slapping the shit out of FTR, Claudio says I am a face too huh but Bryan ain't. Lance is a face too? What did he do to redeem himself? He is still aligned with The Righteous obviously. KoR is going through your usual comeback after injury character. Yes, emotions are there but he is still friends with the Kingdom and Roddy. They are the worst. Then Bryan Keith is heel? Or is he? I can't tell anymore. I wouldn't mind any of these if AEW didn't bring back their condom tunnels. It gets more obnoxious every time. Other than these, it was an alright show. Danielson vs Shibata was a blessing to watch. KoR against Keith didn't disappoint. He, at least, now has a better theme with a more serious tone (can't be Still Tippin' but it is what it is). He was more mean which might signal that he went heel. I'll follow his new direction with a pleasure. I am also pleasantly surprised by Adora. She looked times better than Hart which didn't help to the match especially when you know she is there to job. Hart needs to lose sometime soon, her reign got stale. The gimmick of the match was unnecessary but we'll get to that. Claudio vs Archer was a solid match but Archer's overall AEW tenure is enough to hurt the match. He can't win the big ones. He's one hell of a big dude and he can't win. What is worse is to book The Righteous as lackeys and have them interfere. It'll lead to 6 man tag and that's it. Archer & Righteous will lose as they should and they need to break up asap. Archer without Roberts as a mouthpiece also feels lacking. The Infantry vs HOB was actually decent. It was barely an upset because you know who's winning after a group debuts to confront FTR and the match goes on too long. People can't really read the room. I like upsets, I like underdog wins but it was not The Infantry outplaying them. It was a convenience thing, Mark happened to be there and cost HOB the match. They didn't play it right. In fact Brody and Buddy was equally at fault. Brody got distracted and Buddy let his pride catch him and didn't end the match. For a survival match, it's acceptable but I don't know how this sets up FTR vs The Infantryt right. You can't expect people to hype for that after a glorified squash. Rated R's promo rocked and that's it. He'll blow the place next Wednesday with Spike."

Eli Everfly v Ishmael Vaughn: was a fun one overall. took a while for em to find some chemistry/fluidity but when they did, they gave fun spots. gonna ignore the audience ruining some spots by not moving out of the way fast enough as it was still cool. (audience not moving out of the way ruined the fluidity) 6/10 was creative 3.Krusty Krew v Lucha Kings: wasnt a fan of babyface v babyface as they usually are more high octane or fast paced. they worked this at a normal rate. fun none the less but yeah both teams have looked better 5/10 4: Mongol Santino v Raunchy Rico: I can understand if you were to watch this with no outside info on who is who but this match was a special send off for someone who has made a mark on the socal wrestling scene. is it a bit cheesy and did the camera stupidly go to Mongol blading even though he hid it from the crowd well? yes but I think it was still special. Alonzo and Damiens antics outside helped and they inserted some fun into it. the story itself with Rico and Mongol was fun and simple and continues off him and his past bids (in kayfabe) going for controll of the promotion. Rico was perfect as it seemed he improvised some stuff. not ranking this as its special and im glad Mongol got to have one last match 5. The wolf zaddies v Los Suavecitos: could be match of the night for me. ive only heard of LS before but man did both team kill this. if you look at both teams, you'd be surprised at how competitive this was. Wolf Zaddies kept underestimating LS and LS had the advantage at times but where to cocky still by the time WZ woke up. overall fun match between the two with some great storytelling and chemistry. don't think they could make a rivalry but a match between them every now and then would be fun too see cause it seriously blew my expectations to complete dust. 9/10 6. Delilah Doom v Alozo Alvarez: completely shocked when I realize the guy with the jigalo character came out for this. great stuff between the two. Doom made sure to sell the knee she was coming back from and Alonzo honestly looked great. the heel turn helped set something up between Doom and Williams at santino sisters in may which im excited for! fun match that made both wrestlers come out great. well sorta for doom. I want to see her kick Williams ass haha 8/10 7. last man standing; Slice Boogie v Big Dick Hoss: i came in not knowing a lot of wrestlers and soon as I got here, was feeling unsure. but as both of them made there entrance, I was cheerin and yelling my ass off. was it cause of the stipulation? maybe but it felt big time. and the wrestlers throughout made it feel that way. Slice Boogie has charisma off the charts that's comes from his wrestling itself. special talent. Big Dick hoss delivered too and brought the intensity. I loved the ending where dick hoss had his family into celebrate and slice grabs the mic and brings up that hoss has never pinned him. challenged him to a match right then and there and got into hoss head so much he accepted. 9/10 8. Slice Boogie v Dick Hoss. this match was a perfect follow up. Slice Boogies promo to goad hoss into a match had me so hyped. they worked it perfect and still sold they were just in a last man standing match. surprising ending after Hoss had such a celebration. great idea that had me by the throat. need to see hoss get that one fall win against Slice so bad now! 9/10"

[4.0] "At this point in the tour, I'm starting to feel the undercard fatigue and this night heavily exacerbated that feeling. I get it, New Japan were left in a crap position with one of their tournament matches having to be cancelled because of Finlay's illness and they tried to compensate by making the undercard matches longer. While it did result in some of the undercard matches flowing better, the length got a little grating by the end. Though it wasn't the fault of New Japan themselves, the lack of a second tournament match really hurt this card as well because the main event just wasn't enough to hold this card up. The memorial ceremony to Yutaka Yoshie in the beginning had me tearing up though. Rest in peace Yutaka Yoshie, and get well soon David Finlay. [MOTN: Jack Perry vs. SANADA]"

Goldberg vs. Undertaker not only happened 20 years too late, but will be remembered as one of the worst matches in the history of wrestling. WWE ironically conducted itself like 1998 WCW A LOT during this era. Total shit smear of a wrestling show."

[7.0] "Somehow this show was better than the sum of its parts. Most of the matches weren't that good, but they didn't overstay their welcome. We opened with the match of the night, an absolute classic between Bryan Danielson and Katsuyori Shibata. We then got a pretty disappointing TBS Title match between Julia Hart and Trish Adora that suffered for following Danielson-Shibata. Daniel Garcia and Lee Moriarty then had a basic match to fill some time. PAC continued his recovery by squashing Aaron Solo. Claudio Castagnoli and Lance Archer had a pretty solid match until the terrible finish. We then got the other actually good match of the night, between Kyle O'Reilly and Bryan Keith. Finally, the Infantry and the House of Black stunk out the joint to close the show."

About the promos, Danielson had a very good one, and The Undisputed Kingdom coming to celebrate with KOR after his match was very sweet, that's the type of moment when reality merges with the wrestling, as friends celebrate each other achievements."

[9.0] "This was a really strong Survivor Series show overall with several matches ranging from really good to being a straight up masterpiece. Bret Hart vs Austin is an absolute wrestling clinic and an essential match to watch. Sid vs Michaels is surprisingly great and one of Sid's best ever matches and also had a fantastic atmosphere with the crowd reactions. Undertaker v Mankind is really solid and the stipulation with Paul Bearer suspended above the ring was hilarious. The first Survivor Series Elimination match was good because of a strong debut from Furnas and LaFon establishing themselves as strong Tag Team Title contenders. The second one was decent too with The Rock debuting. The only bad match on the card was the dreadful third match which had one of the most ridiculous DQ's ever. It's up there with the very worst Survivor Series tag matches ever! That aside this was an awesome show overall with a lot of memorable moments."

Just feels like no one can give Daga that top match to make his title reign memorable. The main event felt more like a semi main event. Nothing bad or that great just a typical title defence."

[8.0] "This is very much a Heels Over show, but the WWF was on a hot streak at the time and the match quality was good, so they got away with it. The build to WrestleMania 2000 wasn't the best and the event itself was one of the weaker Mania events overall, but this was one of the better shows during the build, with good wrestling and solid storyline advancement."

[6.0] "The undercard here was more good than great, which meant it didn't do as good a job of making up for the bunkum in the Main Event in order to improve on the overall rating for the show. [3.0] "A rather disappointing show, as apart from the last two matches it was fairly predictable, and without much in-ring quality. What's more, the card is really huge and the audience amorphous, making the show boring at many points. Match stakes: 1/2 Match justification: 0/1 Wrestling quality: 0.5/2 Card choice: 0/1 Suspense: 0.5/1 Segments or angles: 0.5/2 Penalize or enhance elements: More than mediocre atmosphere: -0.5 Total: 3/10"."

[8.0] "This show was probably at least 3-4 matches too long, but there was some really good stuff on the undercard and the Main Event delivered, so overall it's an easy thumbs up from me. I think you can argue that its one of the best early WrestleMania events based purely on overall match quality, as it has 5 matches at *** or higher by my watch, which wasnt at all to be sniffed at when it came to the WWF from this Era, as they were usually more about the bombast and pageantry than they were about the quality of the wrestling, so this event stands out as a result and is well worth a viewing. Its just a shame about the exploitation of the war and I am somewhat glad that the show tanked from a business perspective because the WWF deserved it really"

[5.0] "CyberSlam 1997 is a maintenance show really, with all of the focus being on the Raw invasion and the pay per view in April, meaning that you don't really gain much from watching the show. The storyline advancement is minimal and there aren't any truly awesome matches to make up for that. Candido Vs Sabu is good, but not something you're going to want to go out of your way to see. As a result it's a thumbs in the middle show at best and I wouldnt recommend going out of your way to watch it"
4718.03.2024

[6.0] "The triple combo of the opening three matches is enough to prevent this from being a bad show overall, as all three matches were not only good but they were good in different ways, which also set up some enjoyable storyline advancement in all three cases. The rest of the card was so-so, with a lot of Thunder-level matches and a disappointing Main Event. The bat match was far more entertaining than you'd think it would be given the participants, although the actual wrestling was pretty bad for the most part. It was definitely one of those matches where the entertainment came from good crowd heat and storytelling more than it did for the actual wrestling itself, so I totally understand why some might hate it. Ultimately theres enough good stuff on here that the show is middling at worst, and I'd argue that the majority of the card is better than the WWF's Unforgiven show from the same month in 1998. The Main Event and the weak parts of the undercard drag it down a bit in order to make it a thumbs in the middle at best, and the ending left us with more nWo nonsense at the expense of WCW, when the promotion really needed to start pivoting away from it at this stage as it was starting to get stale. This show comes mildly recommended due to the strong three matches that open it and the fact the majority of the card is okay, but it's not like you need to go out of your way to watch it or anything. Maybe just watch the first three matches and call it a day?"

[8.0] "The crowd got tired as this one wore on (possibly due to the heat maybe? ), but they were into it for the first half and there were two great matches for free TV here, so for the standards of the time this show was very watchable. They are probably better episodes of the show out there, but this was still a solid effort from WCW and I get why it has mostly positive reviews from the inmates here on Cage Match. The outdoor setting was nice as something different too, and its always fun for a company to keep things fresh from a presentation perspective now and then"

[3.0] "I'm not sure if I'm being harsh here, but I didn't like this episode of RAW. The opener was disappointing and definitely a bit on the boring side, and none of the squashes were all that interesting. Diesel & HBK's was particularly underwhelming after how good their previous one was. King's Court was fine and adequately set up Neidhart vs. Bulldog, but it wasn't very memorable. Strange decision to bring back King Kong Bundy of all people while they're putting so much effort in to hyping 'the new era', too. It's not the worst, but I'd consider this to be a pretty flat show with nothing of real interest on it."

[5.0] "While the wrestling wasn't exactly exceptional, the squashes were all pretty solid for what they were. Luger in particular had an energetic showing. Lawler vs Droese was fun for anybody who likes Lawler's style of wrestling, but unfortunately felt a bit underdeveloped thanks to a weak finish. The real reason to watch this show was Bob Backlund's interview segment, which was terrific. I am a huge fan of Backlund's work in this era and thought he really carried this week's episode, earning it an extra point from me thanks to the strength of his promo and overall character work."

[5.0] "There's something missing from this Road To Wrestlemania. Physical confrontations, title changes, turns... There's no sense of a season finale, except for Reigns/Cody. The matches are a little uninteresting, and the Rock promo, my god... Complete malaise, we're a long way from the old-fashioned Hollywood Rock with his guitar."

[4.0] "Not a bad episode of RAW. It was fun seeing Undertaker return to RAW, and the HBK & Diesel match was actually pretty great for a squash (I loved the suicide dive spot). I was fairly indifferent to King's Court, and still find myself missing Matt Borne's incarnation of Doink when I watch these shows. I'm sure I would have gone with a higher rating with a better main event, but unfortunately the Bushwhackers tend to be a low point of any show that they're on, and they certainly had no business closing out a show in 1994. That aside, I thought this was a fine edition of RAW."

El Phantasmo, Hikuleo & Tanga Loa vs Francesco Akira, Great O-Khan & TJP: Okay multiman match, Akira and Hikuleo trying to lock up with one another was entertaining, Loa getting the win was good to see, everyone else did their parts [**3/4]. Mikey Nicholls & Zack Sabre Jr vs Callum Newman & Jeff Cobb: This was an underwhelming tag match, nothing memorable happened here, Callum Newman was on the recieving end of the fall again here [**1/2]. El Desperado, Shota Umino & YOH vs Jack Perry, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi: A sub standard multi man match that is more of a house show standard [*3/4]. Hirooki Goto, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI vs Chase Owens, Gabe Kidd, Gedo, KENTA & Taiji Ishimori: A sub standard house show style multi man match again, the action was forgettable [*1/2]. Just 5 Guys vs Los Ingobernables de Japon: A okay mutli man match, Uemura keeps improving and gets another pinfall for his team which was good to see [**]. Yota Tsuji vs Ren Narita: This match wasn't terrible but wasn't great, HoT came out at the end until LIJ came out, the match went on a bit too long but the result was good when Tsuji came out the winner [**1/2]. EVIL vs Shingo Takagi: Here we go again with HoT bullshit, Takagi obviously in pain, hence why EVIL won this match, not a good match to be honest [*3/4]"

Doink vs Marty Jannetty in a 2/3 Falls rematch from last week was again really good, and probably my favourite thing on this show. This show was almost exclusively wrestling. The Steiners squash was decent. The weakest thing was the Mr. Hughes squash, but even that was one of his better efforts. One of the three best episodes so far of RAW."

Ilusion, Rukiya & To-y vs Kazuma Sumi, Kuni & Yuya Koroku: A decent multi man match, all did their parts well [***]. Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Kawamatsu vs Gorgeous Matsuno & Toru Owashi: This match had a comedic twinge to it which was enjoyable to watch, the action was okay throughout [**1/2]. Akito vs Super Sasadango Machine: It was a comedy match, from the slow motion action, to the ending [**1/4]. Daisuke Sasaki, KANON & MJ Paul vs Antonio Honda, Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi: The action for the most part was okay, Honda pausing the action to talk halfway through the match did not need to happen, but his slips were quite amusing [***]. Ken Ohka vs Sanshiro Takagi: An decently okay match, solid back and forth action, the chair being used while the referee had his back turned was the weakest moment [***1/4]. Shuji Ishikawa & Yoshitatsu vs Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya: A great tag team match, some cool moments like the double stomp off the barrier which was cool to see, Ishikawa picking up the win for his team was nice to see [***3/4]. Danshoku Dino, Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi vs Kazuki Hirata, Naruki Doi & Shinya Aoki: This match had some comedic moments and solid wrestling, all involved put on a good performance [***]. Shunma Katsumata vs Hideki Okatani: Crazy, brutal, insane are a few words that could describe this match, Katsumata and Okatani took quite a few crazy bumps, including a few onto thumbtacks [***3/4]. Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Ino vs Ryuki Honda & Yuma Anzai: Honda and Anzai came in as the challengers, held their own against the champions even if they did not win the titles, Endo and Ino defended their titles in a hard fought defense [****]. MAO vs Takeshi Masada: It was a short match, not even 5 minutes, MAO hit a really cool looking spinning kick which kept Masada down that ended the match [*1/4]. Konosuke Takeshita vs Yuma Aoyagi: Another great match from Takeshita, he and Aoyagi went at it for 19 minutes, they went at it both inside and outside the ring, some brutal moments like the suplex on the apron from Aoyagi to Takeshita [****1/2]. Yuki Ueno vs HARASHIMA: Awesome main event, HARASHIMA is a decently good veteran, could not fault this match at all, action was great throughout MOTN and a MOTY contender [*****]"

Stevie Ray joins NWO^, leading Booker on his singles run. Another bit for Steiner and Buff mocking Rick. A Henning Jericho match that went to a 10 minute draw (it was 6:08). [8.0] "This show was excellent from a storytelling standpoint and while for the most part the wrestling is also decent, I have to say I find it frustrating how the WWF never seems to focus on the in ring action, which is massively frustrating when we got to Owen Hart vs Flash Funk where the split screen stuff is so excessive it destroys the flow of the match! Still though the main highlight is the Bret Hart vs Sid match with the episode long storyline of them trying to get the match started with Austin stopping it from happening twice! It ends up being a decent TV main event with Austin again interfering and costing Bret the title, which rubber stamped Sid vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania for some reason. While it could have been executed better, Lawler challenging the ECW guys and then Paul Heyman calling the show was a pretty cool moment you would probably never see again from the WWE today! This show also follows up the previous night's shocking debut for Chyna as she comes out and attacks Marlena again."

I just watched the Minoru Suzuki vs. Sanshiro Takagi empty arena Tokyo Dome match on the baseball field and it was very good, but I think Abema Towers is more varied with its length, matchups, and variety of competitors. There were some other solid matches throughout the show like Garcia vs Moriarty and O'Reilly vs Keith, but from and in ring perspective, the only match worth checking out here is the opener. Second biggest highlight here was definitely the Cope promo. Arguably the best promo he's done in AEW so far, intensity was through the roof, and I can't wait for his match with Christian on Wednesday. [6.0] "This show, along with last week's SmackDown have been my favorite of the whole year. Despite not being fully hyped with most Mania matches, I must say I'm seeing things coming rounder than before, and the overall product of the show has increased. Drew McIntyre is in his microphone and (probably) gimmick prime. Dude is killing it in every promo, and Seth Rollins complemented the opening segment so well they're getting me invested in their match given it's the third time they're facing for the Title, but now I feel it like the story between them is complete and the match is at it's most meaningful point. Liv vs Becky was quite good, although I felt they didn't told the story they were supposed to tell and they went with a whole another thing. The squash tag match gets some highlighting for Candice LeRae's heel turn, going full bitch on a really poor acting Maxxine. Cody Rhodes interview with Michael Cole was fine, but doesn't add nothing more to the feud for me despite claiming that now the story goes beyond him and is now about giving us the moment we are waiting for. Priest vs Truth was really basic, but worked for what it was. Jey Uso's promo has to be the most straight to the point promo I've ever seen. And I'm not mad he didn't went longer with it, as the story between both brothers is as simple as it gets and they still have some time to build it up. Shayna and Zoey managed to put a performance that wasn't boring at all and alongside Kabuki Warriors they put on a quite solid Title match. The Main Event started so good, then it started going downhill with the useless performances of Bronson Reed and Shinsuke Nakamura, and then went on to feature the best WWE match of the year in Chad vs Sami, despite going with the wrong winner. Mostly well rounded show with nice quality in matches and segments. This is the way to go."

It sometimes feels like RevPro may have attracted too many of a certain type of smart fan, who are not interested in chanting or creating an atmosphere, rather just acknowledging good wrestling with a very brief applause. Can't say as I was massively sold on Reece and Rogan, who are meant to be big, tough guys, but their work just lacks a little conviction. The Oku vs DeReiss match was superb, particularly with DeReiss finishing it off with an injured left leg, the triple threat was spectacular with so many creative moves involving all three, and despite the DQ finish, RKJ and Buzzard was hard hitting and reached all the spots you'd expect it to. Great to see Subculture back together in RevPro, and retaining their titles in a good match, with a nice sequence of events for the finish."

[4.0] "Yet another boring show from WWE. Two straight weeks of absolute doodoo water. This was a boring weekly show and even worse it was a go home show for their second biggest PLE of the year. Only one enjoyable match on the entire show which was the Women's Tag Title Match. Very predictable outcome, but it was still fun. Decent segments from LWO vs Legado and Bobby & The Street Profits vs The Final Testament."

[4.0] "Another weak show after weeks of mediocrity and bad shows. Triple H really needs to pick it back up and find his rhythm again. Two enjoyable matches out of 6 and only one enjoyable segment on the entire show, which was New Day backstage with Jey Uso. It was nice to spot Damage CTRL in the background also who showed up on the show. Although I hope Triple H actually takes the brand split seriously this year. Chad Gable vs Ivar and Drew McIntrye vs Damian Priest were the only two matches I enjoyed here."

[2.0] "Absolutely hilariously bad show this week. The longest match only being 8 minutes long which wasn't enjoyable anyway, actually not one match on this show was enjoyable. There was also some horrible booking of Solo losing to Randy Orton after a monster run for a year and beating John Cena only to lose in 5 minutes. Only two enjoyable segments with AJ/LA and KO/Logan. Everything else that was on this show stunk the house down. At least it was good to see the KO Show make a return after being missing for a while."

[4.0] "Very boring show this week after weeks of very good shows, especially on RAW. Not one enjoyable match on the entirety of the 3 hour show. At least we got a good promo battle between Drew & Punk. I also enjoyed the build for the feud between New Day & Imperium."

[4.0] "What a pointless show this was. Barely any build at all and only two enjoyable shows on a "special" episode. I can't believe Becky Lynch and Nia Jax were the best thing on this show. Nothing much of note from a promo or segment standpoint either. It was good to see The Rock back too and interrupting Jinder who had a good promo battle with him."

[5.0] "Another mediocre show here. Even though we got two enjoyable matches. A very badly worked and booked match between Santos and Bobby. Good opening segment with AJ/LA/Randy, and more decent segments with Nick/Roman and a good promo package for Karrion Kross. Everything else was boring and not worth mentioning."

[5.0] "In-ring action was fine (Tiffany Stratton was an absolute stand-out). The show was fine. Overall though, its completely skippable and not worth investing four hours of your life to. The GRAYSON WALLER Effect did nothing for GRAYSON WALLER. I dont think anyone needed to be concerned about him getting booed in his home country because no one wouldve remembered it a week later. The fact that Cody was also flown all the way to this show to not wrestle seems like an incredible waste to me."

[2.0] "This show sucked that much. Not a single good match and two bad main-events, overall this could be one of the worst show I have ever seen in my entire life in terms of raw quality so far since nothing is more than a 2, 5* in my opinion. Also, HoT being the the literally the focus of the entire company is a sign that there is something wrong with all that. *1/4"

[8.0] "Again a solid show from Rixe : the Fatal 4-way match got a special place into my heart - that match was fantastic. We certainly need to pay attention next months/years to Ricky Sosa : what a charismatic young boy that we got there, full of talent. And what can we say about the main event what a master-class delivered by Aigle Blanc. The crowd was crazy and the nearfalls help with that. A special one to Yoichi who is wonderful in his European tour. Cant wait for the 21th Episode !"

[1.0] "The absolute shits. One of the worst shows I've seen from Triple H so far. Absolutely nothing of a show filled with horrible booking, writing, segments, promo and matches. All rematches and feuds we've seen for months at this point with predictable outcomes. The only enjoyment out of this entire show was The Rock's opening promo. Everything else was a severe downgrade. Dragon Lee losing in 2 minutes with one finisher the entire match. Bayley vs Dakota in a quick blow off match ending in DQ. Randy doing 5 moves of doom and beating Waller. Only one match going over 10 minutes. Absolute sham of a show and everyone involved should be ashamed."

Ren Narita came out looking the best from this show as I believe his match upped his stock quite a bit. Now if he can only be booked more like this in the future. [MOTN: Ren Narita vs. Zack Sabre Jr.]"

Easily one of his best ever, the bond him and Christian have had really feels like it's paying off here after so many years, and I really loved that he mentioned both Foley AND Abyss as people who inspired him to make Spike."

[7.0] "This was a great show, my only big issue with it is that 6 hours is too long for a wrestling show. Why did we have 13 matches for this? ! Anyways ignoring that slight annoyance. The show started very strong with Soma Takao vs Tsubasa Suzuki, For a debut match Suzuki definitely did himself proud, I don't know how old he is but going off the research I could find it seems he's currently in high school so having his debut match be the opener for this show was a big risk and clearly shows that the people behind the scenes at DDT like him and I don't blame them, There are far worse performances that can be given for a debut, Also I'm very jealous of him. I want a kiss from Danshoku Dieno as well :(. Akito vs SSM was a very fun match with the ending being hilarious as they both simply fell asleep in a submission hold, DAMNATION T.A vs Schadenfreude International was a fun match but nothing to shout about to be honest. Ishikawa & Yoshitatsu vs Higuchi & Naya was absolutely brilliant for me maybe being the 3rd best match on the card but it was great either way, Ishikawa being big and beefy against Higuchi & Naya who are both huge as well was just a great watch. The trios title match was fun but I love Dieno so bias is strong. Wasn't a fan of the Extreme title match to be honest, it wasn't awful just I was very tired by the time we got to it. The tag title match between BURNING & New Period AKA the AJPW invasion was a great match as well Yuki Iino is one of the most underrated big men in the world and has one of the best spears in the world as well, MAO vs Masada was great, quick match, but a great sprint with a unique ending as MAO won by knockout following his corner roundhouse kick. Konosuke Takeshita vs Yuma Aoyagi was **** if you ask me and will definitely be in my mind come end of the year when I'm thinking of some of the best Takeshita matches of the year. The Ospreay match was better if you ask me and Takeshita will have better matches in America but if this is what we'regetting in Japan then I'm fine with it. HARASHIMA vs Yuki Ueno. top level match. Just go watch it"

Two new never aired before matches, first match it's a good match then there's another great match as the main event and it's RVD vs Jerry Lynn then from the heatwave '98 pay per view there's the epic match between Masato Tanaka and Mike Awesome."

[3.0] "This was pretty rough. The best of it came from the Brothers of Funstruction vs Ugly Ducklings Tag Title match, which had some fairly amusing spots and decent action, and Funny Bone vs Sinn Bodhi, which was pretty solid as well. Necro & Pondo vs Lloyd and Dillinger was a somewhat OK hardcore brawl for those into that sort of thing. The main event, though, was pretty much a dud, with it going way too long and the "electrified" cage coming off as rather hokey. Whatever Vampiro might have had in the past, he definitely doesn't have it anymore. Overall maybe not a total loss, but also not a whole lot to recommend it unless you're a die-hard Juggalo Wrestling fan (though even then, it should be noted that ICP don't actually show up.)"
