[] "The Event was arguably a perfect show. The main event was a great moment for Swerve. The Will/Bryan match is likely the best match on North American soil. The Young Bucks/FTR match was enough and a great match in a already legendary rivalry. Toni/Rosa was eh. Fucking Jericho man smfh that match will prolly lead to Hook heading over to WWE which as a fan of both companies will be fun to see. Roddy vs Kyle was cool and a very nice match. I didn't care about the 6-Man tag match. And Okada had a great match with Pac. Overall a great show and I am super excited to see how Swerve and Will follow up their major wins. 8/10."

[4.0] "I found myself feeling really bored watching this so I dont have a lot to say. Maybe its the bad venue, maybe its the boring matches, its probably both. I liked seeing Bob Holly as always but his match here wasnt as good as last time. And my god Tim Horner is not a good talker. Even the main event let me down. You would think Dutch and Brian would go at it. Looking to REALLY hurt each other. But instead, its just a standard wrestling match."

[7.0] "Enjoyable debut show for GCW in Albuquerque. Well paced at about 2 1/2 hours with it also largely being a traditional wrestling heavy card with only Gage/Lloyd being pretty violent. Effy/Blake was my match of the night in a very good defense for Blake that also raised more of the stakes in Effy and Mances feud. Wouldnt call anything on the show bad and most of it was pretty enjoyable including the opener and Manders matches which cant be added yet. Energetic crowd that was into the show from start to finish as well."

[] "It was a terrific show from top to bottom. Danielson/Ospreay was one of the best matches I've ever seen, PAC/Okada was terrific, Rosa/Toni was a strong women's match, KOR/Strong had a great match, and FTR/Bucks was a lot of fun. Loved that Cole can walk again and it was great to see Jack Perry back in AEW. The moment of the night was Swerve winning the world title. Well deserved! Whose house?"

[] "I wish we could rate the opening match as the four of them put on an amazing performance that helped set the pace for the rest of the show! Over all the show had a few changes due to outside circumstances but the show was still a hit and, being there in person, the crowd and energy were amazing. Look forward to see the next BGB"

[6.0] "I wasn't looking forward to this show, which is half of the battle. You can have the greatest matches of all time on the card... It doesn't matter if what came before was the shits. None of these matches had a good build. The only match that had a build that was worthy of a ppv was Joe vs Swerve. But with Swerve trying to do the psycho thing while bleeding and basically saying "is that all you got" and than just getting beaten down again... he cooled down significantly as well. The first four matches were mediocre at best. Not because they were bad on a technical level but because of the lack of build and/or people to care about. PAC hasn't been consistently presented as anything so why is he having a 50/50 match for 20 minutes with Okada. Okada hasn't been presented well and doesn't look strong at all. Even less so now. I don't care about anyone in the six man tag, which is a pity because the House Of Black could be cool, Edge was once cool but already lost all his momentum, Mark Briscoe is a complete joke in AEW and Kingston is great on the mic and as a character but he's terrible in the ring. I do not care about Willow, nor Julia Hart and I care even less about whatever title they were fighting for. Hook's title doesn't matter either but at least Jericho and Hook created some interest. Yes Jericho has go away heat, but that's still better than no heat and no one else in the company has any heat. Jericho should be better at hiding his weaknesses (mainly his cardio) but other than that it was a good match imo that elevated Hook. Toni Storm is an over the top parody that I dislike an Thunder Rose is a good wrestler that I haven't seen in a while and had forgotten about. I don't remember why I should care. Despite that they had a good match. Danielson and Ospreay had a match of the year candidate... if only there was some type of build or reason for these two to fight beyond their supposed status as the best in the world. I've hated the Bucks for a while now for different reason. Mainly their lack of psychology, their lack of mic skills and charisma and their backstage politics. That being said, I enjoyed their match. Why? Well I don't like seeing these types of matches too often but I've only seen the Bucks twice this year (the other match being Revolution). Only seeing the bucks sporadically evidently helps. It also helped that I saw the travesty that was the 6-team ladder match at wrestlemania. It somewhat made me respect the bucks more. Despite what I think of them, their stuff looks good and seems as safe as these things can be. It's also 2 vs 2, which always makes more sense than having more bodies and more chaos out their. Despite not being the biggest fan of these matches anymore I must admit that The Bucks made it look better than anyone else in recent memory. The main event was good but too awkward at times with a couple of mistakes by Swerve. But it delivered adequately. To sum it all up. It's a good ppv with good matches... That didn't care about because of lack of build and people to care about. And it ran at least half an hour too long. 4 hours is too long for any event. Around 3h being the magic number and 3, 5h being the cut of point imo. Especially with it being all action. With WWE there are commercials to skip through (if you don't watch it live, which I never do because it would be in the middle of the night til early morning). AEW/Tony Khan needs to learn that having good matches and good ppv's isn't enough. Wrestling fans are wrestling fans because they want stories and characters to be invested in. If not, they'd watch mma or boxing instead. Every successful company ever succeeded because of the creative side of things. Signing big names and having great matches and nothing else has never worked and will never work."

[5.0] "Maybe I am being too harsh on it but to my eyes this show is just average. The first bout and the main event help elevate the event, but the middle of the card is just not my cup of tea, and having a match be stopped by outside interference on a bigger show like this is just not my cup of tea."

[8.0] "A solid show with a couple of absolutely fantastic moments, most especially (of course) Jon Moxley becoming the first person to hold world titles for NJPW, WWE, and AEW. The Stephanie Vaquer and AZM match was another highlight, and the Sabre/Riddle and Nemeth/Ishii matches were also very solid. And it was amazing to see how over Jack Perry was as a heel, and how much heat and energy he got from the crowd, which hopefully AEW can build upon when he makes his inevitable return..."

[6.0] "None of these matches were bad (nor were any particularly anything special, with the gauntlet main event the best of the bunch), but it was SO many tag matches with SO many people. First a six-man tag match, followed by an eight-man, followed by not one but TWO ten-teams? ! The only non tag team match was the gauntlet, which was still a match featuring ten different wrestlers. A few singles matches to add a little variety would have been nice..."

[2.0] "The ultimate indie wet dream. There are two good matches on this show and still they're not the most exciting things you'll see. The opener is meh with none of the guys selling effects of anything, 6-Man Tag was one of the worst things on the show with Kingston outdoing himself when it comes to making people ashamed of watching wrestling and Willow vs Julia had Hart dominate a woman twice her size. Strong vs O'Reilly was one of the better things on this PPV, Jericho vs Hook was a comical disaster and Storm vs Rosa positively surprised with the contender especially impressing. Ospreay vs Danielson will be the talk of the year for every mark who doesn't care about psychology and making things special because movesets are more important to them, Bucks vs FTR was a horrible spotfest with Bald and Glock losing the remains of respect I had for them and the main event was underwhelming, although still it was nice to see Swerve finally get the big one. Another awfully booked, badly structured card with random, cold matches and I can't say I was expecting something else."

[6.0] "This was pretty much a DX show. They push the envelope in the opening segment when they strip with the hilariously placed DX sensors on the screen and then they are forced to face each other where it becomes a comical farce where Shawn takes a dive. Jim Cornette's reaction to it made it even more hilarious to watch. The Christmas shows are often lacking in star power and this was no exception but it did show a taped segment from the last week where Austin gives a bogus Santa Claus a stunner for insulting a kid. There's also a lot of shenanigans with the New Age Outlaws where they look for Mankind all show and get ambushed and end up locking him in a freezer. The matches aren't very good here, but there was a some fun memorable moments."

[5.0] "I didn't like how this show ended at all because the character assassination of Jim Neidhart and he just looks foolish where he betrays the Hart Foundation to join DX only for DX to turn on him anyway. As entertaining as Shawn was he was on a massive ego trip at this point. It was a hit and miss show for me. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the New Age Outlaws shock title win against LOD and the Austin/Rock feud in part was great and had a funny moment where there looked like there was technical problems when Rock cuts a promo only for the reveal that Austin was in the production truck. Despite not really liking the ending of the show DX still had a entertaining segment in the middle of the show. I also thought Sgt. Slaughter's promo was very passionate as well. Besides the tag title match and the fun Christopher vs Flanagan sprint, it was a pretty lacklustre show in terms of the matches with a particularly bad Shamrock vs Savio Vega match where it was competitive even though Shamrock was the #1 contender. Not really a fan of his booking at all. The first half of this show was decent and the War Zone half was pretty bad."

[8.0] "This show is just a really solid show, that made me wish I was able to watch ROH at the time it originally came out. All of the matches felt like they did what they needed to do, and although it is not good enough to reach that 9 or 10, it still has a really good score. I encourage anyone who likes Ring of Honor to check this one out."

[9.0] "I disagree with some who would cut the fluff matches on this card (excluding Zero Hour) because I think they can serve a purpose of giving the audience a chance to breath. I wouldve shuffled the card around a bit, maybe put the trios match on before the main event so Joe/Swerve dont have to follow Ospreay/Danielson immediately. I think there wasnt a bad match on the card; sure Jericho/Hook wasnt great and Willow/Hart went short (maybe because of a previous injury) but it didnt kill the momentum of the other matches. The crowd was awesome too. Too pops for people standing; when Adam stood from his wheelchair and when Taz stood at the end of the Hook match, its a testament to the responsiveness of the crowd. They helped make the night special."

[10.0] "Very good show. There were a few minor nitpicks here and there but overall this is probably in the top 5 of AEW's best shows ever, which is crazy that I've said that about both PPV's they've had so far this year. This show had one of the best wrestling matches I've ever seen (Ospreay/Danielson), along with several other good-very good matches that would've stood out as match of the night on any other card (PAC/Okada, KOR/Roddy, Bucks/FTR 4, Toni/Rosa). Not to mention the crowd, who were super hot from start to finish, and never seemed burnt out once throughout the entire card. In terms of sheer match and roster quality, AEW is on the run of a lifetime right now."

[4.0] "A very predictable and somewhat boring show. None of the angles coming into this show had much heat, and that translated into the action we saw on screen. AEW continues to establish itself as the home of "Great Matches, " for better or worse. Utlimately, I feel like I would've been better served paying my $50 to watch Danielson vs Ospreay and skipping the rest of the card."

[9.0] "Overall an amazing PPV. This would be an easy 10 if LionHook didnt have that match. Oh boy was that a painful one. Hook losing to jericho was such a short sighted decision that does nothing but keep Hook in the vortex. However, there is easily 5 matches on this card that were worth the price of admission. A great PPV that was so close to being perfect."

[] "I had fun at the show! Chaz v Richie was my favorite while Alonzo v Lucas was up there too! crowd was super into the main event but they were also a lil gassed themselves from yelling. Lucas was a burst of energy and charisma! Alonzo was still finding his footing as a heel champ but he got it and hit some great spots. the brawl before was dope as hell, with some great chaos. I think everyone who performed did a solid job. Damian was great as a heel manager. I liked the connection between the two matches with Cameron and Chaz seemingly forming a tag team. also I liked the beginning promo with Damian saying he had a parlay on 3 of the matches with the guys from his group! then Che and Rico lost which made it not seem good for alonzo. plus then no one allowed ringside? rule of 3 done good! fun show, excited for there next one,"

[6.0] "A solid show from GCW especially for those that will enjoy the "420" theming. Some matches I did expect a little more from as the show did feel a bit long clocking in at over three hours (some of the recent UCC shows have particularly felt a bit longer than needed despite sellout crowds there.) The opening scramble would be my favorite of the night with the main event close behind. Blake Christian was pulled from the show for AEW/TKROH which having him there may have added some energy to the advertised trios match. Only real miss of the show for me was Santana/Tornado. Lio/Oliver was in my way to being MOTN prior to the ending."

[] "I really loved this one. Gotta admit that except for MASADA/Stone, Cage/Thachter and Riddle/Suzuki really nicley blanded MMA and pro wrestling, sure the submission were a bit weirdly made (no visual tap), thankfully didn't ruin enjoyment. Sure they could do interviews before the match, after all that's also in MMA not just pro wrestling, so missed that tiny bit."

[9.0] "Tremendous show. The only sore spot was Hook/Jericho and that had more to do with fatigue with Jericho rather than the match itself, and even then the crowd made up for it with their antics. PAC/Okada perfect opener, fantastic ladder match in a tough spot, Swerve finally getting his moment, and what quite possibly might be one of the best matches Ive ever seen in Danielson/Ospreay. You know its a good show when you cant get to sleep afterwards and are planning out when to watch some of the matches again the next day."

[7.0] "Pretty solid PPV from A-E-Dub! A significant improvement over Worlds End. They almost lost me, but their PPV game is back in action. Pros: Ospreay is other-worldly! This match isnt the all-time-classic level for me, basically because of the lack of emotional build and investment. I do think over time this match will be largely overlooked by anyone thats not a die-hard like us. But overall, very very good. Just a bit more story or emotion would have put it over the top! Other things I really enjoyed were Samoa Joes match. Swerve winning felt like he was too cooled off to win the big one, but we know Tony doesnt change plans so maybe theyll work extra hard to get him over again as champ! I liked the womens matches, even if it was telegraphed who would win, given the upcoming Double or Nothing Mercedes in-ring debut. Another highlight for me continues to be the final lineup to these cards. Yes, they run long, but aside from Worlds End, Ive never felt cheated out of my money! Cons: Too many matches with expected outcomes on PPV. We all saw Bucks, Okada, Strong, and Willow winning a mile away. For $50.00 plus tax, I do hope that Ill be surprised by some outcomes. Lastly, too many matches on the card is a common theme. We dont need Jericho on PPV in a lackluster, just-started feud, let alone one where he wins a title to please retire chants. Id have scrapped the two pre-show matches, put them on Dynamite, and moved Jericho and Hook to dynamite as well to give some additional intrigue to keep viewers interest post-PPV. Im not interested in this more is more philosophy of their PPVs. Having said that, Im glad I ordered - thank you Dave Meltzer and Tony Khan for giving us what we wanted! AEW may just be back after all!"

[8.0] "I definetly believe people are gonna focus hard on the good stuff on this show, which to be fair, there was plenty of it. A strong opener between Pac & Okada, because of course it was and the 6 man was also very fun, although, there were obvious moments where Adam and Malakai don't touch, and I'm not saying obvious in the case of "good story telling, " I'm saying obvious in the sense that Adam could've gone and attacked Malakai and didn't. I did really love the finish though. Then, as if anyone would be surprised, Tony S T I L L doesn't know how to book the women's divsion, as Willow and Julia wrestled for less than 10 minutes, making Willow's big win feel a little underwhelming. The Continental title match, while not for everyone, was one that I absolutely loved. The chemistry between Strong and O'Reilly is evident, and they just kicked the crap out of each other. I also wasn't expecting a Strong retention here, which, with the match quality, and Adam Cole's return, made the title and Strong's reign feel more important instantly. Then came the low point of the night. Hook vs Jericho. I thought it was a great match, make Hook look strong in retention, have Jericho leave for a while. Not what happened. Jericho won. He's really starting to get the type of heat of "GO AWAY" rather than actual good heat. Also, can Jericho ever just lose the last match of the fued? ! Thankfully, the final 4 matches saved the show from being a forgettable one. Toni vs Thunder was stellar, and reminded us of just how valuable Thunder Rosa is. Toni was great in the match as well, but Thunder was sorely missed, and it's fantastic to see her back in a big match like this. Do I need to tell that Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay is one of the best matches I've ever seen? Cause it was. The finish was interesting, and I think their's a good chance we see this match down the road again. The Tag Team Title ladder match was also great, but probably won't be remembered as well as the other Bucks vs FTR matches for 3 reasons. What happened in the main event, Ospreay vs Danielson, and of course, Jack Perry returning to AEW. The main event World Title match was good, not spectacular, but I'd still say worth a watch, and Tony can do at least 1 thing right; he knows when pull the trigger on someone and give them the big win. He did it with Jamie, and he did it here with Swerve. Well deserved. All and all, despite the first 5 matches being a mixed bag, the final 4 matches made up for it in spades. Hell of a show, but not quite on the level of Revolution earlier this year."

[7.0] "All three of these matches were pretty solid, and we got nice storyline developments in each performance as well (especially the Orange Cassidy/Best Friends break up). I'm eager to learn whether Bullet Club Gold/Bang Bang Gang can rehabilitate the Trios title(s). With enough camera time, I suspect they will."

[9.0] "Both AEW PPVs in 2024 have over-delivered with Revolution and now Dynasty providing the types of matches and moments that are rare in pro wrestling these days. Even though this card is a little top-heavy in terms of in-ring excellence, the top three matches (Okada/PAC, Bucks/FTR, Ospreay/Danielson) are all about as good as it gets. Ospreay/Danielson is absolutely a must-see match for any fan, and the type of match that will likely be the Match of the Year for 2024. Even the mid-tier matches on this card (HoB vs Cope/Kingston/Briscoe, Swerve vs Joe, Toni Storm vs Thunder Rosa, KOR vs Strong) are well-executed, enjoyable matches. The Jack Perry appearance and Swerve's coronation also served as cool moments. My only knock on the show is that it still feels like there's still not enough variance in match duration on these cards. Not every match needs 15+ minutes, and it'd be nice if the overall run-time could trend closer to 3.5 hours (as opposed to 4). I think this would help in-arena audiences as well as at-home audiences stay fully invested in each outcome/match for the full event."

[] "Ospreay/Danielson is the greatest match I've seen live and the greatest match probably in the history of North America. [7.0] "I'll start with the obvious of Ospreay/Danielson and Swerve beating Joe being awesome matches/moments on this card. PAC/Okada and the 6-man tag were also very solid, but I cannot overlook a lot of the negatives not only on this card alone but in the build leading up to the show. Willow/Julia was marred by injury but was to be expected if you were in-the-know, and Jericho is painfully washed up with nothing HOOK could do about it. Roddy/O'Reilly and Storm/Rosa were fine matches but both had a feeling of ending a bit abruptly. Bucks/FTR was a great match with one of the most mind-numbing builds in company history and a disappointing finish to "capitalize" on it. I have not personally liked Tony Khan's leadership and creative directions recently, and feel there has been a fair amount of negative momentum for their weekly shows that in a lot of ways is self-inflicted, but as per usual with AEW the highs are still very high and for the most part the PPVs at worst will still be okay."

[9.0] "The official beginning of the Attitude Era and the first show to have the scratch logo at the bottom of the screen. True nostalgia. It's a very eventful show as well with the Vince McMahon editorial as well as his promo with Owen Hart in the middle of the show. It had a great Austin moment where he throws his forfeited IC Title in the river for The Rock to swim for. The New Age Outlaws are really hitting their stride where there's a very brutal spot where they send Dude Love flying off the stage and then later in the show they get involved in the DX vs LOD main event and allign themselves with DX, which ends up being one of the most brutal post match beat downs I've ever seen as well as shaving one of the trademark mohawks off of Hawk! Elsewhere I thought Tom Brandi's shock win over The Sultan was well built because of Marc Mero's insulting comments about him last week and the opening and main event matches was pretty solid."

[10.0] "It started out with an amazing match between Okada and PAC. Just a classic that left me asking, how can anyone follow that? And then they did! Of course Ospreay v Danielson was the best match of the night, but just about everyone over-delivered on my expectations. Even the weakest on paper, KOR v Roddy, would have stood out on a lesser PPV. Even the pacing was fantastic. I was completely spent after the Ospreay v Danielson match, and a little checked out at the start of the ladder match. But it kept building and ended strong to lead into the main event."

[10.0] "It's hard to say where I rank this event among the top 5 best AEW PPVs all-time. Subjectively, it was one of my favorite events based on the storylines, matches, and outcomes. Objectively, it was top-to-bottom possibly the most high-quality event AEW has ever produced. And the event marked some significant milestones for the company (Jack Perry's return since CM Punk was fired, Swerve becoming AEW's first African American world champion). All Out 2021 has often been considered to hold the top spot as best AEW PPV. I believe in a lot of ways that event has been held to such a high degree not specifically for its match quality, or the surprise debuts, but the milestones the company hit with that event. For starters, it was probably AEW's first event that delivered a card that from beginning to end featured bonafide stars in the business. It was also a huge milestone for the wrestling industry as a whole due to CM Punk's return to action. And lastly, the debuts of Bryan Danielson & Adam Cole signified continued growth and prosperity for the company in a period that even pre-dated Cody's departure. But was Dynasty better? After everything the company has been through since 2021 (or put themselves through, depending on your perspective), they were able to create a new PPV show that featured a *better* card, delivered (at least subjectively IMO) a *better* experience, and seemingly marked even more growth and upward mobility for the company (Perry's return and Swerve's win). Kind of feels like AEW has moved onto their Dynasty era."

[10.0] "Hyper Misao's second show as a producer further pushes the boundaries of what professional wrestling can be. I'm curious as to how much of the show had to be reworked following Misao's ankle injury just two weeks before it was due to take place but it certainly doesn't feel hastily put together. Perhaps the impact of Misao's injury was minimal considering that the show focuses on another member of the TJPW roster: Raku. HYPE! 2 starts out feeling like more of a stage play than a wrestling show, with members of the TJPW acting out a scenario in the ring, interspersed with video vignettes and musical performances that further develop the story. Raku, our protagonist, encounters a magical bunny (played by Shoko Nakajima and HIMAWARI at various points) and has to overcome many obstacles: A gang of ganguro kidnappers, sleazy host club proprietors, an angry rock band and, finally, an old friend from Raku's past. Like in a magical girl story, Raku defeats most of her foes by transforming into her alter ego, played by Rika Tatsumi. The battles with these enemies are the few moments of actual wrestling in the show until its finale. Eventually, the power of magic is not enough to Raku and she must instead search for the power within herself. She performs a short solo idol performance and all the people she's met along the way join her in the ring to congratulate her... but then Aja Kong's music hits! HYPE! 2 had a fairly tongue-in-cheek tone up to this point but Aja's arrival did get a big pop from me and felt like a huge moment. Raku has teamed up with Aja plenty of times previously but she's never faced her friend in a singles match before. Everyone else leaves the ring and a referee appears from nowhere as Electric Eye heralds the arrival of joshi wrestling royalty for only conventional match of the show. As a wrestler, Raku definitely leans more on the comedy side rather than being a great in-ring technician but the match is played surprisingly straight and it's to its benefit. Raku tries her best to do some damage to Aja but the veteran is unfazed. Even after singing a song to put Aja to sleep and hitting her with the oyasumi express, it's still not enough to put her down. Raku attacks Aja with her trademark pillow. Aja retaliates with that trash can thing she always carries around. Despite a great effort, Raku eats the pin. Hyper Misao managed to put together a show centered around a wrestler who is well-liked but has never troubled the upper card and made something incredibly fun, compelling and, by the end, emotional too. No other company is doing what TJPW is doing and can't wait to see what Misao cooks ups next year."

[10.0] "All timer PPV for All Elite, once again. Even the Jericho match was actually alright and the crowd made it funny with the "go home Jericho" or "please retire". I like the fact Jericho won because the whole show was so good that you had to put some funny hate on it, and it's just the FTW title so who really cares in the end. The other weak point was also a good match in the TBS championship, I think Julia Hart is not at 100% so they kept it simple but effective, nice clean win for Willow Nightingale! The rest of the show did exactly what it needed to do. Okada vs PAC is a great opener, both guys have a chemistry, Okada did a perfect job at turning the audience against him with that Rainmaker pose tease into the flip off, and then doing basic heel work, which makes the point of the after match successful with PAC disappointed by his loss but the crowd chanting for him, showing the respect! Then the trio match was very fun and well paced, everyone shined except maybe Buddy Matthews who was a little laid back, but the main goal of this match was to hype Malakai Black vs Adam Copeland, it delivered. Then we got to see REAL GRAPS with that Roddy Strong vs KOR! Damn that's some excellence ROH shit, a pure joy to watch this, and Adam Cole getting out of the wheelchair after this, with the mean eyes to Wardlow and all... Really good stuff! The women's championship delivered too, I guess Toni Storm listened to some fan complaining that her new "timeless" character kinda ruins the in ring aspect. She did a great match against AZM in Collision last week, and now a very good match with Thunder Rosa, this is the Toni Storm that I want to see! Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson : MAGIC, it's the word that I can only think of. It's not even the craziest match, most violent or most athletic that I saw from these 2 GOATs. It's just magic, great great sequences, hot crowd from even before the bell rang, astonishing counters. The spot that got carved in my mind was the Os'cutter countered by a running knee mid air, picture perfect! It ended with Danielson selling the tiger driver 91 to death so Ospreay can retire the move and I think it's a great idea. Maybe one of the best match I ever saw. 5 stars + without any hesitation. It's almost impossible to follow this masterpiece but Young Bucks vs FTR did it! Good thing it was a ladder match because the crazy spots and bumps is the reason the crowd got back on track, even chanting "please be careful" LOL. That was indeed very impressive to watch and Jack Perry is back with a great reaction, love to see it! Then the main event closed the show on a high note and feel good vibes with that Swerve Strickland victory. It was a very good main event, Joe was a good champion but they needed this title change. Can't wait to see the next Dynamite!"

[9.0] "My two negative points about the show: the TBS Championship match (Julia was hurt, so I'll excuse this one, specially because Willow is champion now), and the FTW Championship match (no excuses here, this shouldn't exist at all). The positives: everything else! Okada vs PAC delivered maybe the best opener in an AEW PPV ever, The 6-Man Tag was fun, Strong vs KOR was a technical delight, Rosa vs Storm was the best defense in her title reign, Ospreay vs Danielson was a 5-Star classic, Bucks vs FTR was a underrated violent match, and the main event crowned one of the most deserving guys on the history of the company. A Top 5 AEW PPV so far."

[8.0] "All the three matches were actually good ones and luckly Jay and BC Gold are now double champions, yes these titles didn't have a meaning in 2024 but at least it looks like they care about him and hus group. Great Zero Hour to be honest. ***3/4"

[10.0] "Arguably AEW's greatest PPV ever. An all-timer classic match, a strong main event with a rising star getting his first title win, quality matches throughout the undercard, and a hot crowd is hard to top. Willow/Julia Hart wasn't much of a match but it was short at least while Jericho/Hook didn't do much for me. Those are the only flaws on what was otherwise a phenomenal show."

[10.0] "This won't be an original take but even with that plodding turd of a Jericho match, this show is worth a 10. KOR/Roddy, Storm/Rosa, Swerve/Joe, and the ladder match were all fantastic. And then you have Ospreay/Danielson which felt generational. Exceptional."

[10.0] "Really awesome show, when a shitty Jericho match can't derail it, you know everything else was special. Okada vs PAC + Ospreay vs Danielson are the highlights, but damn near every match on this show delivered. And ending with the huge feel good moment of Swerve winning the belt was damn perfect!"

[8.0] "I have gone back and forth. First, I think this is the best PPV that AEW has put on in some time. Kudos to them. However, some unnecessary bad things cloud this score. Hook v Jericho was the worst match of the night. Please have Jericho go away for a while. Leave our television screens. Dont be a manager. Dont be a commentator. Leave. Also, Jericho has 50, 000 nicknames. None of them cool. As for the matches themselves, many of them were good-great with Ospreay/Bryan being fantastic as was PAC/Okada. Unfortunately, I think what couldve pushed my score higher was the build/storyline drama. A great card is a great card. But proper storyline builds/proper drama add to the rabid mess of a fan base. Im looking for the next MJF v Punk or Page v Omega and we havent gotten it yet. TK has the players, his storytelling and booking need to match his talented roster."

[10.0] "This is one of the best PPV's I have ever seen. From the start of the first match (Okada Vs PAC), This PPV was hitting every stride perfectly. Okada Vs PAC was amazing, a match of the year contender if it wasn't for two matches that came later in the night. Willow got the win in a fairly good match if you remember that Julia was injured so this was going to be short. Roddy Vs KoR was a great match and I cannot wait to see that feud continue. Even Jericho Vs Hook was okay. Not great or good but at least Hook and Taz were entertaining. Toni Storm is finally back to being the Toni of old, with this being her best match by MILES in the Timeless gimmick and this is Thunder Rosa's best match since the Britt Baker Steel Cage match. But the last three matches were what everyone was here for. Starting off with Will Ospreay Vs Bryan Danielson- This is one of, if not THE greatest Professional Wrestling match I have ever seen. The in ring psychology, the technical portions, the CROWD (Which was AMAZING all night long. Never were they tired). Everything about this match was perfect and it will never be forgotten. The Young Bucks and FTR had to follow, but them being two of the greatest tag teams of all time, they kept the tiring crowd extremely invested and had what I thought was their best match out of their 4 matches together, but the big talking point was the return of Jack Perry back to AEW. he got an insane reaction when it was revealed and the whole return was done perfectly. I cannot wait to see where they go from here. The main event was exactly what it needed to be- Swerve's Coronation. This match was good but only good compared to the other two matches which had happened before. This match got you invested in Swerve and the crowd had already been behind him the whole night. It was his time and they pulled the trigger perfectly. 10/10 show."

[9.0] "Near perfection. Would probably be a 10 if not for Jericho being the absolute worst. Okada vs PAC was an awesome opener and its good to know that Okada has adapted to the American television style really well. House of Black vs Adam, Eddie and Mark was fun, but I wouldve preferred a singles match between Malakai and Cope. Julia Hart and Willow Nightingale went very short but was the right result. Strong vs OReilly was a clinic and made me realise how badly I need to see OReilly vs Danielson. Chris Jericho stinks. Thunder Rosa gave Toni Storm easily her best defence of this reign so far, very competitive and was given plenty of time. Ospreay vs Danielson is one of the best wrestling matches that has ever taken place and will almost certainly top my match of the year list. Bucks vs FTR was a fun plunder match and the return of Jack Perry was very well done, although I felt there was a tonne of underselling (Cash took an EVP trigger and was up within 2 minutes and Matthew Jackson looked like he died off of that bump through the table and got up really quickly). Joe vs Swerve was a solid main event but didnt need to go above and beyond to be special because the result was the right one. AEW put on another fantastic PPV, what a surprise!"

[8.0] "Had Event of the Year potential but the gas just ran out. I skipped the Jericho/Toni Storm block as both of them are trying my patience. Ospreay/Danielson is my new MOTY frontrunner. Strong/O'Reilly was almost another 10 for me. The two ELITE matches were good but not all-timers, and Joe's offence in the early goings of the main event was excellent, but they just had to do too much assembly to put together that finish. Performers of the night were Ospreay and O'Reilly."

[4.0] "For me, only one match on this card was worthy of mania and it was Gunther vs. Sami. Sami is great almost every time he's in the ring and he deserves a big moment like this. The rest range from ok to bad. The amount of obnoxious advertising here was almost overwhelming. The entire arena was bathed in whatever company had paid for the time during the matches. Ring apron, ringside barriers, even around the decks throughout the entire stadium. The American Home Shield ad was bright white during the main event so it washed out everything and was an eyesore."

This really stole the show... Spot after spot after spot... We really saw a huge fight and everyone did a great job *****. Then Vadocq VS Tommbie... A good hardcore match, Tommbie is a real badass... The neon light spot was incredible ****. After the break we had a good comedy match with Rivality vs Lizzy and Riho so much entertainment... OMG MBM is a the GOAT in that perspective *****. After that maybe the best fight of the evening... Archer vs Mayfairs... This was incredible... Hope to maybe see a part two from thos two incredible wrestlers who gave an absolute banger to us *****. Then we had the main event, Senza VS Everett a good battle, but in my eyes difficult to invest in this battle after the fight we had before but in global hit was really good **** 1/2."

Trent vs. Sydal: cool to see Sydal on PPV, but it's still nothing more than a luxury jobber (**3/4), OC/Shibata vs. STP: best zero hour match (***1/4), Acclaimed vs. BBG: match ok, the ending was fun and so was the result (***)"

[7.0] "Another very solid event by BZW for the 1st time in association with TNT. Hendrik vs DeReiss was really good, even though it was a bit long for an opener. The four way match stole the show: I discovered Ricky Sosa which could become France's next "big thing": he has a ton of potential! Tommbie and Vadocq provided a cool hardcore match: I also discovered Tommbie who seems to be a good, yet crazy deathmatch wrestler! Rivality vs Lizzy & Riho was very funny, and is definitly one of the matches of the night. Both final matches were really good encounters to end the show: the story between Senza Volto and Andrew Everett and their common past added a lot to the Main Event. Looking forward to see the shows in England!"

[10.0] "Better than Revolution. It was that good. There were ZERO bad matches. You heard me. Jericho v Hook was serviceable. It wasn't dogshit, it wasn't bad, it was a little slow and clunky but Im so sick and tired of people who cant even pick up 100bls or run for longer than 5 minutes try to say that makes it "unwatchable" or whatever. Also People putting down Willow v Julia are idiots too. Every match was at least good to absolutely fucking amazing. For me this might be the best AEW ppv ever. We can only continue to go up from here. The momentum AEW has for PPVs is nonstop and the roster depth allows for insane flexibility! Adam Cole for fuck sake is still recovering, No Kenny, Hangman or Moxely or Claudio and the show was still THIS GOOD! ? Absolutely amazing."

[9.0] "AEW is off to a great start in 2024. I'm trying to think of a two PPV run that I like more than Revolution + Dynasty and I just can't. This show was incredible, and in my opinion only had one match not worth watching (Jericho v Hook.) Besides the obvious match of the night and instant classic (Ospreay v Danielson), this card had two good women's singles matches, two very strong midcard championship matches, two solid tag matches (both maybe went a bit longer than needed, but other than that minor gripe, they were great), and a main event with a new babyface champion being crowned. Just proves in my opinion that when it comes to in-ring work, AEW are the ones to beat."

[7.0] "It's not as bad as people say it is. I know that this episode is badly rated because of the All In footage and I must say it's not badly done. Yes it's questionable to show the real footage but I think it's the best way they could've shown the footage. If they had shown it just on Twitter to show people "the truth" it would've been bad anyway. However, I find it pretty well done to incorporate the footage that way, it serves the story for Dynasty and the rehabilitation of Jack Perry. And FTR does a great promo just after responding to the Bucks, it's a good booking. And for Will Ospreay's promo, I think it is exactly right to respond, it's fair enough, one guy fired a first shot, Ospreay replies, and moreover, it's a good promo for Will. Overall, a pretty solid TV show."

[10.0] "AEW knocked it out of the park! Danielson and Ospreay are on another level. That could be the best match ever. The rest of the card was outstanding. Okada v PAC, Bucks v FTR, Swerve v Joe, HOB match were all great. There is nothing like an AEW PPV."

[10.0] "This was simply one of my favorite wrestling Ppv's of all time. Definitely one of AEW's best in their young history. You have an electric crowd; your banger opening match of Okada vs Pac, your all time great dream match in Danielson vs Ospreay, your hidden gem that nobody will talk about in Roddy vs O'Reilly and a feel good title change to close out the show. Classic night."

[8.0] "One of the best Wrestling PPV of the year so far. A solid opener to start the show. Punk vs Kojima delivered more that I was expecting. Both the Intercontinental and the IWGP were fun. The 10 Man Tag was awesome, and the women's match was decent. Ospreay and Omega delivered a MOTY candidate again. The Six Man Tag helped to calm the nerves before the main event, Despite Danielson's broken arm, he still delivered a great match with Okada."

[10.0] "AEW deliver another awesome PPV. AEW never fail to deliver when it matters. Kazuchika Okada vs PAC was awesome, Okada's heel work since joining AEW has been fantastic and PAC looked a million dollars like he always does. Hope he stays around longer, as he's one of the most interesting guys in AEW. House Of Black vs Briscoe, Kingston and Copeland was an awesome car crash where Mark Briscoe was the highlight of the match, Malakai beating Copeland interests me and I'm looking forward to seeing that feud. Willow vs Hart was decent, good to see Willow as champion, Mercedes vs Willow should be a banger. I didn't dislike HOOK vs Jericho as much as everyone else did. Thought HOOK looked good and I think I'm the only person on planet earth that's interested in what Jericho does next. Storm vs Rosa was good, my favourite Storm match in ages. Everyone went into Danielson vs Ospreay thinking it'd be a five star classic and it delivered. Two of the greatest of all time showing why they're two of the greatest. Young Bucks and FTR had to follow one of the greatest matches of all time and they delivered. Jack Perry returning and helping The Bucks win was pretty obvious but the reveal of Perry being under the Sting mask was awesome and Swerve winning the title from Samoa Joe was a great ending to a great show."

Most of the matches were just "good" (not in the 8 point range, just above average). I didn't stick behind to see the main event since I don't really care about the AEW title, but based on the ratings, I didn't miss mutch."

[7.0] "It's an Attitude Era episode of Raw through and through. The matches are nothing to write home about at all, but thankfully it's a very enjoyable show because there's a lot of memorable moments and storylines throughout the show. The main storyline was the beginning of the Vince/Austin feud where the Austin v Rock match doesn't happen and Austin is forced to give up his IC Title to The Rock so he winds up stealing the belt to end the show. DX start a strip poker game while waiting for Owen Hart to arrive and this continues to go on during matches until they end up destroying The Head Bangers and Owen attacks from the crowd. Marc Mero forces Sable to wear a giant sack, but she strips off and wears a very revealing bikini! New Age Outlaws begin a feud with Dude Love where they attack him after he beats Billy Gunn in a singles match. I thought the Kane segment was pretty good as well as he piledrives Road Warrior Hawk and he actually does his trademark no sell, before Kane ends up destroying him."

Sometimes AEW gets too busy trying to please the here and now so its refreshing and promising to see. Solid 7/10 show. Danielson v Ospreay stole the show. A positive nod to the womens world title match also, which I felt was the strongest Womens world title match since Jamie Hayters reign."

Making fans spend more time questioning whether or not something is real instead of talking about the match is a bad thing. I docked one point for that. Still a very good show that I would recommend."

[7.0] "Look, there was a LOT of great stuff on this show, A LOT. But I think it could've been better paced, like I felt so worn out by the time the main event came around because we had just come off of the perfection of Ospreay/Danielson and a crazy ladder match. Also the Willow/Julia match went longer than would've been comfortable considering the circumstances, and as per usual Jericho's part of the show sucked hard"

[7.0] "It's good to see the show be kicked off by an actually entertaining Zero Hour instead of a couple of throwaway matches that don't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Beretta/Sydal was solid (like usual), Cassidy & Shibata/STP was pretty entertaining, and Bullet Club Gold capturing the ROH World Six Man Tag/AEW World Trios Titles was a deserved result."

[] "Definitely a very good PPV, but as usual there are always exaggerations here..the build of all the matches was terrible..maybe except Toni Storm vs Thunder Rosa even if the match was only ok. Okada vs Pac was a great match. The rest of the card up until Ospreay vs Bryan was very poor with a lot of head scratches.. Ospreay vs Bryan could have truly been a legendary match but instead it is yet another wasted opportunity. Ospreay winning on the first try against the greatest active wrestler is a very questionable choice. Not having a belt on the line for one of the biggest match up possible is a very questionable choice. The match was excellent as always with these two. We'll forget about it in a month...Maybe I'm just fussy, but I'm sure there were better set ups... AEW, for me, continues to be an "instant high/istant gratification" promotion..which is fine but I prefer something else...Willow's victory and especially Swerve's victory didnt even seemed that special when instead they should have been historical... [8/10 is a great ratings for this ppv]"

Several matches on just about any other event would of been the match of the night but this show had a legit match of the decade contender in Osprey vs. Danielson. The Taka v Christopher match was a very good opener and in-ring, the Shamrock v HBK match is solid but the DQ finish is awful. Other than those three matches, this was a terrible PPV effort from the WWF and this had a brutal stretch of matches, especially the terrible Triple H vs Sgt. Slaughter match. Four matches here ended in a DQ finish and much of this show felt very throwaway. Worst PPV of 1997 by a long way."

PAC vs Okada - ****1/4. 6-Man Tag - **3/4. Willow vs Hart - **1/2. Strong vs O'Reilly - ***1/4. Jericho vs Hook - **. Storm vs Rosa - **1/2. Ospreay vs Danielson - ****1/4. Bucks vs FTR - ***3/4. [8.0] "I loved full gear, from start to finish, even the main event! I dont know, why some people hating on it. While the injury spots seemed unnecessary, the way they played out was unexpectedly exceptional and nothing how i imagined it. Complaints about Jay White being 'buried' after being pinned by a one-legged MJF are unfounded, it highlights MJF's year-long championship dominance without diminishing White's status as one of the most important and best professional wrestling acts in the business. Another striking aspect to take away from this match, is the fact, that the devil didnt appear. Ive seen comments on twitter complaining and whining about it. But why ? The devil was ringside the whole time and how should he be able to show up, if hes been in MJFs corner the whole match. Thats just my guess on who the devil is going to be revealed as in the near future. As for the women's division, the 2 title matches exceeded my expectations, as im not really a huge fan of how the womens division is being portrayed as a whole. The Hangman vs. Swerve death match was a masterpiece and in my opinion, the best death match of all time, showcasing exceptional execution of every spot. Full Gear proved to be one of the best AEW shows yet, which can be said about every single AEW PPV if we are being honest. 8/10"

[5.0] "Fun show with quite a bit of variety. No stand out matches, with the only "bad" matches being Predator/Bobish and the main event. With the ME being more for starting the story with the General and his monsters introduced on this show. MotN was the six man tag which had plenty of action but won't be for everyone. HUSTLE feels like it's a lot more relaxed on it's second show and the crowd feels more into it overall. One could do worse things with their time than watching this."

[7.0] "It was one of my favorite zero hour shows in a long time, all the matches were entertaining and they delivered and also the crowd seemed very invested from the very beginning of the show. I believe it could have been more interesting but I'm still very happy with what we got."

[10.0] "One of, if not the best AEW PPV to Date. It had it's up's (Swerve) and Downs (Jericho) But as whole, 10/10, the crowd being on fire helping that rating a good bit"

[10.0] "Another all-timer of a PPV. Every match was at least good (yes, including Jericho/HOOK) except for the TBS title match which was just a little short, but the women did the best in that time. The trios match felt a little out of place, like it could just main event Collision one time but it was still good and sets up Black going for the TNT title. Strong/O'Reilly was great fun although the finish was a bit weird, hope everyone is okay there. Ospreay/Danielson was obviously phenomenal and the ladder match had the inenviable task of following it but was also incredible, saw some real nasty bumps. And finally Swerve is crowned. Amazing, amazing show and pound for pound could be a top 3 for AEW."

[5.0] "The wrestlers of the first two matches made a great job at warming up the crowd, especially the ladder match with its non-stop action and incredible spots. To my regret, their effort was in vain, because after that we get three matches run with boring, mediocre action on the level of a house show. But then we are back with another two worthwhile matches. Production was great. Wrestling? Not so much. So, yeah, my feelings with this one are mixed. This felt more like a one big pre-show for the second day of Wrestlemania 40, rather than a self-sufficient, standalone show. The WWE Intercontinental Title Match was definitely the highlight of the show for me."

[6.0] "Despite having a rather boring start, this show picked up my interest towards the latter half. TLC and the main event are one of the finest moments in WWE history, and the rest is ranging from decent to entertaining. There's no bad matches at all, if we count the women's and Battle Royal matches out, which were short and didn't really hurt the flow of the show. I have no complaints at all and think it was a good Mania overall."

[8.0] "A really good PPV that could have been an all-timer if the match order had been slightly different. The stretch from Willow v Julia to Rosa vs Toni featured the four coldest matches on paper, and none of them delivered anything particularly memorable. I understand positioning the Bucks in the semi-main, because you want someone who can wake the crowd up after they get exhausted by Danielson and Osprey, but perhaps switching the International and Continental matches could have broken up the lull in the middle of the card. As far as match quality...it's an AEW pay per view. The high-end matches delivered, and somehow Osprey and Danielson exceeded expectations, which is hard to believe. The low-end matches were all fine. Toni Storm even decided to have a competent match, which was refreshing."

[7.0] "An overall pretty good PPV from AEW here that had some nice progress on it in the form of a number of results heading toward Double or Nothing. The opening match and Bryan/Ospreay were my two favorites of the night. The latter is getting a lot of hype right now but I honestly felt I have seen both wrestlers have stronger matches this year than that one as well as better matches within AEW, similar to how I felt toward Ospreay/Bailey in TNA last year. It was still a very good match but I fail to see a lot of the MOTY hype people have toward it. Bucks/FTR was good even with the expected ending. Most on the show was solid even if some matches I expected more from while Jericho/Hook was a bit of a miss. A couple of AEWs recent PPVs have felt longer than they should and this was one of those toward the middle of the show to me but there was enough good to make this an enjoyable watch overall."

[5.0] "This show had two great matches. The first one is the opening MITB match, which is one of the best examples of this type of matches. The second one is the main event match between CM Punk and John Cena, which would turn out historic and would be regarded as a classic and one of the best matches in WWE. But the stretch in between, which is a total of 4 matches... Is decent at best. I didn't care for the second MITB match and Randy vs. Christian, but they were alright and completely passable. The other two matches were not only uninteresting, but also substandard. So, as a show, this felt like a 5/10. Just watch two aforementioned matches instead of watching the whole show."

[10.0] "Example of utilizing a Strong roster to go out there and deliver on that. You have several matches with a sense of passing the torch, while also ones that establish a veteran either just starting or wanting to not go away on his backside. As much as Hook and Jericho wasn't a great match and Julia Hart being hurt limited a potential solid encounter. You, have the hot and masterful Okada delivering the tone early with PAC as an appetite in what was the coup de grace of Will Ospreay against Bryan Danielson. Simply master class of a Professional wrestling show."

[7.0] "Had some fun, had some bits where I wanted to rip my eyes out, ended up glad I spent the money. Willow/Julia, Ospreay/Dragon and HOOK/Jericho either didn't get time, didn't click with me, or were just straight up embarrassing. Swerve/Joe, Rosa/Storm, HOB/ChickenCopeKingston, Bucks/FTR with the very fun return of Jack Perry and especially PAC/Okada were magnificent. My only real gripe with the high points being that Swerve/Joe more felt like a moment than a match, and as lovely as Swerve's crowning was, I wish he got a little more oomph to it. Fun show. Doesn't top Revolution '24, though really, I don't know what can."

With, course the entourage helping the rich entitled wrestler etc. Broken Matt I don't expect to win the Title or even be a regular to do so. I take it as more a stop gap while seeing if the WWE had internet etc. Which, Matt is a Legend don't see them wanting to try that gimmick again or invest in one last run. Course I do think if he was on the Wyatt 6 etc. I guess that would make sense storyline wise. I do want to say everyone worked hard or went out there to deliver. Even, if it wasn't much but this set the tone for more intriguing storylines and we'll see what is next for Hammerstone etc."
