[9.0] "Really fun episode of Main Event, glad I was able to find it. Sting vs. Stan Lane wasn't much to write home about about but I really liked the other two matches. Eaton and Rogers showed the usual Midnights/Fantastics chemistry, and any chance to see Arn against another name is aces in my book."

[0.0] "This PPV is probably the worst I have ever seen in my life. At least from WWE history, I try to find something positive but there is nothing. A gaunlet that seemed irrelevant to me. The matches for the Tag team titles of raw and smackdown did not mark anything positive for me, the single matches were too useless. The match between Lesnar and Ricochet is not to be seen again. I didn't like Reigns and Corbin even with the steel cage. Bayley and Naomi did not live up to expectations, and ultimately what they did to Bray was unforgivable. Lots of pyrotechnics, but the event was not very enjoyable. Glorified house show at its best"

[8.0] "It was a pretty good RAW. Liked all the stories that were developed, especially Chad Gable's heel turn. Unsure what they'll do with Vinci, hopefully they have something good. The main event was just kind of alright, you could clearly see that there were only like 3 or maybe 4 believable winners in that match though. Becky winning is alright, I just hope she doesn't hold it too long. Judging by the story, Liv should probably be the one to take it soon enough for the Rhea rivalry to continue when she eventually does return."

[6.0] "The promos shined through. I am hoping the inevitable heel turn of Ciampa and Gargano comes through. Gable shined. McIntyre/Sheamus shined. Judgement Day split was teased. These were the highlights rather than the wrestling. Underwhelming show."

[7.0] "Good show. This is a marked improvement over the Saturday show and very much feels like the A show of the weekend. The opener is good, it manages to work around Seth's injury and ends up benefiting from the short length, and while the next hour or so is a whole bunch of nothing, the final stretch is made up of good matches and the main event is a fittingly overbooked, star studded affair to mark the end of the Roman Reigns era on top. It lacks a truly great wrestling match, with the co-main event coming the closest to that status but it's a solid show from an in ring standpoint and it has all the spectacle and big time feel of a WrestleMania"

[8.0] "Really good event: Okada got his first PPV match, Will Ospreay wrestled what 'll be the MOTY for a lot of people (despite it will be "only" in the top 10 for probably) and Swerve has been crowned as the new face of the company in the main-event. Unfortunetely there some bad matches there and there. ****1/4"

[3.0] "The point of this RAW was to make me want to watch WM 12 that Sunday, it did the opposite effect. Shawn/Bret had the most build on this show but felt lukewarm for the biggest match of the year. A boring Undertaker promo, a rubbish Goldust segment and HHH squash where Aldo came off better then his opponent did absolute nothing for their matches at Mania and the main event, the last thing that should convince you to watch WM was pathetic. If this was for any other show, it would be below par but since it was for WrestleMania, it comes off considerably worse. The highlights for me was the Mankind vignette and Bret/HBK videos."

[8.0] "Dunno why there's a mediocre rating for this, thought it was a fun debut for Impact mainly off the strength of the matches that really effectively showcased the exciting TNA style. The Jarrett/Dusty seg was neat, there was a title change for some intrigue, and I liked the sports-like presentation with the time up top and news/results on a lower third."

[8.0] "[This review was originally a 9, but upon re-watching the main event, I decided to bump it down to an 8.] A strong showing from AEW that was exactly what they needed to help kickstart a new era after a period of extreme downturn caused by scandal and lackluster booking. Revolution was an overall great PPV from top to bottom with only two matches on the show that fell flat for me, and neither was particularly bad anyways. [MOTN: Darby Allin & Sting vs. The Young Bucks]"

[7.0] "Decent episode which wasn't about the matches, but about furthering the nWo storyline and Sting. Regal and Psicosis put on a good match. Boss Man and Scott Norton join the nWo and Sting is frustrated with being attacked by his WCW comrades and walks out again."

[6.0] "Two pretty good matches. An absolute failure with Jericho. Bucks/FTR was mid and a few other struggles on the card. With the preshow it's 6 hours of wrestling and a few matches here went too long. Would be nice to see them make them more compact and not have every match try and do everything. Less is more sometimes."

[8.0] "For a debut tv show and making a statement, this is about as good as it gets. Short and fun matches that set the pace for the X-Division, an exciting tag title change and a great main event that felt like a big deal. The Jarrett/Dusty segment was good too until Road Dogg came out. Really little to complain about for a debut show though."

[10.0] "If the trios match was held instead of Chris Jericho and Hook, and if the TBS title match was booked a little better, the PPV would have gotten a much higher score, but overall it was good and the atmosphere of the stadium was extremely great"

[8.0] "This was another really good PPV from AEW. Ospreay and Danielson's match was the obvious highlight and nothing else on the card could hope to reach that level, but it was still mostly solid throughout and Swerve's crowning as AEW champion was really cool to see. Only two matches really fell below average for me and I wish they'd been saved for TV instead. [MOTN: Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay]"

[6.0] "This was a a decent show, where most of the matches were at least decent. We opened with a good match between Jerry Lynn and Super Crazy. The disciples of the New Church and the Hot Shots had an okay match that really just served to expose the Hot Shots for not being on the same level as the other top teams in the company. Jorge Estrada had a short match with Disgraceland that really just served to kill that angle. Kid Kash and the Amazing Red put on a Match of the Night performance over the X-Division Title. Glen Gilberti and Mike Sanders took on America's Most Wanted in a match that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Finally, Raven almost bled to death trying to get the Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match with the Sandman over."

[6.0] "This was overall underwhelming. The crowd was difficult to win over, but most of the many promos were quite bad and irritating on their own, with the exception of Drew/Sheamus and Gable (the highlight of the show for me). The matches were solid, but nothing outstanding except for maybe the opening tag team titles match. I'm in love with the immersive long takes, even if it's often followed by fast cuts. I don't have high hopes for some decisions they made like kicking out Vinci and teasing a disturbance in Ciampa's mind. But they have potential. The only big question mark is the fate of the Women's world title. Obviously an unfortunate injury taking out the champion is tough to handle. But a random battle royal on a weekly to determine the successor seems like a panic decision. A good takeaway from the match is the surprise that Maxxine was the star of the episode."

[] "A really good episode of Monday Night RAW right here. We got good matches, good segments and a nice buildup for Backlash France which is next Saturday. Which is honestly insane considering their is only 2 matches on the card and it feels like they need more build up and quick."

[5.0] "For a pre-show this was fine. Two of the matches were rather heat-less, but it was nice to see at least one match with more serious stakes on the Zero Hour to help make the time spent watching it more worthwhile. [MOTN: n/a]"

[8.0] "Good Raw. There weren't those annoying women's tagteam matches for 1.5 - 2 minutes, because of the Battle Royale. And... my God... Raw without Cody Rhodes with standard promo. The show itself pleased me, both in terms of wrestling and segments. The confrontation between Drew and Sheamus. Ludwig Kaiser performed well, Chad Gable with his intention to win the IC title and pressure on the Alpha Academy, only the segment with Damien Priest and Jey Uso disappointed me. 8/10."

[] "Where do I start, so many issues. Ok, first, let's talk about the promos. There was a lot of talking on this show and a pattern is that the solo promos are usually good (McIntyre and Gable) but as soon as workers interact, they just take random shots at each other like in a rap battle. This isn't just one program which would be fine, no, this is every program. We used to have this for the big John Cena programs, but now everyone tries it. And even worse, they seemingly can't stop to sing catchphrases until the crowd sings along. It feels so cartoonish to stop talking to your opponent and instead turn it into a houseshow where you beg for crowd interaction. And don't get me wrong, they get the reaction, but it feels very forced, it is to the detriment of the characters. They do not feel like real characters, they feel like cartoon characters, almost sitcom-like. A good example of this was the McIntyre-Sheamus interaction which had realness to it which I very liked, but then they reverted to "banger after banger after banger", and "burger after burger after burger". There's the crowd interaction thing, but if that wasn't bad enough, the babyface's response to "you're fat" was "and you're stupid! "... I mean, what am I watching, 10 year olds fighting at the school yard? The wrestling on the show was ok, but nothing you need to see. The issue is those that are good in the ring do not get the character development, while the good characters only talk and then have PPV matches. So you get a dead midcard that has decent matches, but the stakes aren't there to care about them. It feels like they currently see the wrestling part as a necessary evil that they have to put between the promos and ad breaks. The main event was a good portrayal about this, the entire match was flat until the final 3, the only relevant characters in the match, got going. Unfortunately this match was also very sloppy, with a lot of time where nothing notable happens in the ring. Liv Morgan pulls Becky Lynch through the middle rope, so obviously the entire finishing stretch is useless, because Becky cannot be eliminated until the goes over the top rope. Even the final slam that won Becky the match wasn't going through cleanly, it all felt very rough. I can't help but feel like the new era isn't really that new, at least for weekly television. It feels similar to 2016 RAW after the brand split, some good signs, but old issues won't go away. Let's see if they can get some of their momentum back..."

[4.0] "Pretty much just mirroring what has already been said. There is one redeeming match here and it's the opener between Bret Hart and Mankind, though it ends in a predictable DQ as Owen Hart is ringside on comms. Other than that, none of the three other matches are worth a watch."
7423.04.2024
16:57
[9.0] "In ring work overall was very good through out the show, AEW always delivers with their matches where you like it or not they offer something for all fans, there TBS title and Jericho/hook match were the lows for me. A very good night and, it cant not be stated how great of a pro is that Roderick Strong, can always count on that Man to deliver"

[6.0] "On paper, a par-for-the-course, no-surprises (and no-title-changes) installment of Battle of the Belts, but the actual wrestling on this show was really quite good overall. Athena, who's continuing a great run, had a very good main event title match against Red Velvet that will hopefully garner the latter some more air time; Roddy vs Romero was also very solid, and Hook vs Taylor was put together well to put Hook over strongly by showing him overcoming an imposing opponent. There isn't a whole that can be asked for from an hour-long TV time slot of wrestling."
7623.04.2024

[8.0] "Certainly a step up from Sakura Genesis. A strong main event with Mox' title win over Naito, and a very solid undercard as well, notably including three good matches in Vaquer vs AZM, ZSJ vs Riddle, Umino vs Perry and Nemeth vs Ishii. Most of the rest was solid too, including the NEVER Tag four-way and Ali vs Hiromu. A good effort for a stateside NJPW event."

[9.0] "The better overall night of this year's Mania. The main event will of course be the most-talked-about aspect, and it was a good main event with the right result (arguably a year late), and a strong post-match angle that will no doubt serve as the poster image for the New Era they've been relentlessly promoting. Bayley vs Sky was also an excellent match with the right result. Rollins vs McIntyre was also very good and finally gave Drew that big Mania moment in front of a crowd, albeit briefly; while I'm not exactly a Punk fan the post-match fight and Priest cash-in worked pretty well overall. Knight vs Styles was also good and, again, had the right result, and Paul vs Owens vs Orton was pretty good, although I'd rather have seen Owens win the US belt here and have a moment celebrating with Sami and his new IC Title (but at least we got to see a good extended period of Paul getting beat up! ) Pride vs Final Testament was the weak link of the show, but was somewhat redeemed by some entertaining guest commentary by Snoop Dogg (if we'd have been able to ditch Graves and McAfee for the rest of the show and kept Snoop in their place, I'd have been more than OK with it! ). A few nitpicks aside, it was overall a very strong show that definitely captured that big-time WrestleMania feel, maybe for the first time in a number of years."

[7.0] "Easily the weaker of the two nights of Mania this year, but certainly not without its highlights. On the undercard, the two singles title matches were the biggest plusses - Zayn vs GUNTHER for the IC belt was one of the best matches of the entire weekend and certainly memorable for ending GUNTHER's long title reign, while Ripley vs Lynch was also very good (especially impressive as Lynch was ill and Ripley reportedly was coming off a panic attack). The six-way Tag Title ladder match was also a lot of fun, flowing well for something with that many participants, and was a good way to finally split up the two sets of tag belts. Andrade/Rey vs Dom/Santos and the six-woman were OK but mostly unremarkable TV-style matches (past a memorable spot from Joachim Wilde - who wasn't a direct participant in the match- in the former, and the latter being Jade Cargill's Mania debut). The biggest mark against it was the Usos match, which was a real disappointment and just a lousy match. As to the main event, I'm of two minds - did it have some memorable moments and good storytelling leading into the following night's main event? Yes. Did it have a glacial pace and could it have had twenty minutes cut out and likely still feel too long? Also yes. Fun seeing Rocky back though. Overall a bit of a mixed bag but one that definitely leans heavily into the positive side."

[8.0] "For a first pay-per-view, DEADLOCK delivered. The undercard was sweet and cool (even though I skipped the Battle Royal, sorry, not sorry). The hardcore fight between Corino and Loco lived up to all its promises, while Christian vs. Tankman and Mizunami vs. Yuu were pretty intense and brutal. The main-event between Everett and Bojack was fucking cool. Big man vs. high-flying wizard, but not only just that. Emotions were high that evening."
8023.04.2024
16:06
[6.0] "By this show it feels like HUSTLE has started to lean more into the sillier aspects that will eventually define it. Giant Silva used as a weapon in the six man tag, Cactus Jack enthusiastically declaring himself to be a Monster in front of the General who just looks like an M. Bison cosplay. Zebraman visiting a zoo. Just a lot of fun silly stuff going on with this card and the wrestling is largely serviceable even if none of the matches are something anyone needs to seek out in isolation."
8123.04.2024
16:05
[7.0] "Card ran smooth and didn't feel like 2+ hours of wrestling. Crowd was small but really into it and hope they return to this site in the future. Warner/Colt & Gage/Broski were the only matched that got spicy but most everyone on the card had a blast. G-C-Dub!"
8223.04.2024
15:57
[10.0] "If you watch pro wrestling this is a top tier PPV. Danielson v Ospreay is MOTY and added to the "ever" list of matches on this card took it to next level viewing. Every match on here was PPV level (aside from Jericho/Hook) & per usual the company gives you every pennies worth."
8323.04.2024
15:56
[7.0] "The Matches were Fine but the Segments in between carried this Raw. Ludwig attacking Giovanni & kicking him out, Sheamus & Drew's War of Words & Chad's Scolding of American Alpha were all great & helped develop their Characters forward. Gunther v Gable in the King of the Ring Final is my Dream & it would be Peak."

[8.0] "I just lost it at the opening segment "Crapper 3:16". As awful as the TAFKA Goldust character was, his segment with Austin is really funny. Good episode of Raw here and a good ending to a strong year for the show. The Owen vs Michaels match was probably the best match on Raw in quite some time and the build to it was really good all show. New Age Outlaws actions in recent weeks gives us the return of Cactus Jack with a memorable moment where Terry Funk debuted the Chainsaw Charile character which had a great horror movie style reveal. Theres a good moment in the Undertaker/Kane storyline where Undertaker ends up aiding Kane in destroying several jabronis. Jim Cornette yells at a cloud again and Marc Mero continues to act unhinged when Sable is revealed as the cover girl for Raw magazine. The Rock continues to do really fun self absorbed promos and there's an obvious rift with him and Faarooq. The matches besides Owen vs HBK and the Cactus Jack match are kinda whatever with another terrible DOA vs Boricuas match in a terrible feud that just won't end!"

[] "fun house show in front of a great crowd. The IC title 4-Way was MOTN of course, but Ricochet-JD McDonagh wasn't far behind, providing some great high flying; I felt like I was back in the mid 2010s UK indies all over again. Drew McIntyre's heel work was on point, like it's been on TV. He even took a shot at Wayne Rooney who was sitting front row (which you can see on WWE's socials). The rest of the show was fine, nothing amazing in ring but still a ton of fun, exactly what I expect from a house show."

[] "Best raw post mania. Each tag-team/faction had their own story arcs developed in a more interesting direction. Drew's segments continue to be fun and engaging, Sheamus Interference only made it better. His match with Shinsuke was solid too. New Day were unbearable, they need a shakeup."

[8.0] "This was my 1st Kumite show in person felt like this show was very good no bad matches at all in this show felt like a couple of matches were a bit rushed didn't effect the quality of the matches but some could have been longer Alton Thorne VS Clint Margera was a masterpiece if you seen Alton's promo before the match there was a lot of storytelling in this match. Will be at more Kumite shows this promotion has a special vibe"

[9.0] "This was really fun. I thought the Damian Priest and Jey Uso stuff was pretty fun, and I enjoyed Priest throughout the night. Drew and Sheamus stuff was great and the Shinsuke and Sheamus match was very good, hard hitting with a few near falls Sheamus already looks good despite coming off a long injury lay off. Gunther was excellent tonight, hes becoming a very, very good promo. Convincing, for sure. New Day and Imperium had a great match as always, and Im interested in seeing whats next for Imperium after the turn. The tag title match was very good, and the main event was excellent, one of the best battle Royales in recent memory. An entertaining three hours that I have limited complaints about."

[6.0] "This show was pretty stacked for Sendai Girls' standards, most likely the reason was the fact that it got uploaded to Wrestle Universe and imo if you're interesting in watching wrestlers that you only heard before, but never actually seen them in action, it's a good 'first introduction' type show to check out - Mio Momono, VENY, Mika Iwata, Riko Kawahata, ZONES, Ryo Mizunami and Hiroyo Matsumoto, their performances to me stood out as entertaining and/or memorable."

[5.0] "Medium show, split Imperium is a bad idea. Becky Lynch still champion is worse than Ripley and the Jey Uso/Priest feud sucks. There's a big slack after Wrestlemania 40, which is a bit normal, but it shouldn't last too long and Backlash should launch new, more exciting feuds."
9323.04.2024
14:04
[5.0] "Rather average PPV, the opener is good, Swann/Hendry it's been going on too long, we need to find a new program for Henry who is one of the only ones to get the audience to react. Kazarian/Young sucked, Maclin gets beaten by Santana, too bad. Happy for Santana's arrival though, a good addition to the X-Division. It's a shame to see The System continuing to interfere with the titles. Mike Bailey deserves much better. Hammerstone vs Alexander is the match of the night. Grace/De Lander overbooked sucked, the ending with Kon and PCO, Callihan's return, the ref bump is way too much. Glad Nemeth lost in the main event but Moose's reign is too long, he needs to drop the title next time. Matt Hardy in 2024...Hmm, I'm afraid Broken Matt is a bit of a has-been now."

[8.0] "It was a good show and it was the official start of a new era, and it was reasonable to read stories and feuds in the first show, maybe it won't appeal to some viewers. I liked this show and I think it was good and entertaining and I give this show 8 points ."

[8.0] "A purely solid gala - interspersing moments of embarrassment with genius. A beautiful farewell to Sting - the main reason I watched the entire show. But not one Sting made the gala. A very weak women's fight severely lowers the score, despite the fact that two athletes with high skills faced each other. The show only got rolling after the great Ospreay vs Takeshita bout, and maintained a high level until the end. However, before that...it was the level of a random PPV from a wrestling game..."

[8.0] "This show was really strong and probably one of the best shows in TNA history so far. The opener was the only mediocre part of the show, but it was only a one minute squash match. We see a lot of interviews to the wrestlers that are going to participate on the main event, the War Games match, some of them are better than others, for example Raven and James Mitchell. The other big point of the show was the Super X Cup, a really entertaining tournament with some exciting and fast paced matches. The four matches of the first round were under five minutes, but all them were good, exciting action and high spots. Teddy Hart looked strong. On the semifinals we saw Teddy Hart taking on Juventud Guerrera, pretty exciting and cool spots. But Sabin vs Kazarian was better, for me this was the best match of this two wrestlers I've seen so far. Great chemistry. But the match of the tournament was without a doubt the finals between Chris Sabin and Juvi. This two have great chemsitry and did some insane counter sequences. Also was fast paced and had great moves. It's a big win for Sabin to solidifie him as one of the top wrestlers of the company. The main event was a cool war games match with weapons hanging off the cage. It was pretty decent, with some cools spots. I liked that they uses all the existing feuds and threw them to a war games match, it had sense. After the babyfaces win, it happens a big brawl. Douglas and The New Church attack Raven on the ring and cut his hair, building to the future hair vs hair match. It was a great show."

[7.0] "Let's be serious - anyone who isn't an AEW fanboy has no way to give such a PPV a rating higher than 8/10. There's no denying that the fight card had its strong points. Headlined, of course, by the brilliant clash between Ospreay and Bryan. Although I don't know if considering this confrontation as one of the best fights in the history of wrestling is not such a gross exaggeration as Meltzer's ratings after 2010. Regardless. The rest of the gala solid - very good opener and main event. But for God's sake, giving a 10/10 to a PPV that featured such slip-ups as Jericho vs Hawk or Nightingale vs Hart is grading with rose-colored glasses. Was it a night well spent? Yes. Is it worth commemorating in the pages of wrestling history? No."

[8.0] "Danielson/Ospreay albeit I dont think its the greatest wrestling match ever, it was pretty damn amazing. The other great stuff was Okada/Pac, ORiley/Strong and Swerve vs Joe. I thought Swerve/Joe was a really strong world title match for Swerves coronation. The other stuff ranges from being good to forgettable, outside of Jericho/Hook that was a really unfortunate match result aside. Overall a really good show overall although this shows quality in matches can be inconsistent."

[8.0] "This week's show was a fun one. Sure, the in-ring action and booking could have been better, but the promos made up for it. It started strong with Jey & Priest; they had good chemistry in the ring, and their back-and-forth was good. Gunther's promo was GREAT! He's so talented, and his promo skills are nothing short of his in-ring skills. Drew's promo was great as well. He has a fantastic ability on the mic. His dialogue with Sheamus was so good, especially the line "Burger after Burger"; I couldn't stop laughing. Chad Gable as a heel is something that WWE should explore. He berated Alpha Academy and I was genuinely offended for Tozawa, Otis & Maxxine. I also liked Andrade & Zoey Stark's promos. They highlighted them as a force to be reckoned with justifiably. As for the in-ring action, for me, the opener was the best match of the night. The Awesome Truth & DIY have great chemistry. The New Day vs. Imperium showed nothing spectacular, as we've seen this match repeatedly. Sheamus vs. Shinsuke was ok, and so was the match Andrade & Ricochet vs. JD & Santos. The Women's World Championship Battle Royal was decent, nothing more, nothing less."

[7.0] "[3.50/5.00]: From the electrifying opening bell of Okada vs. Pac to the climactic main event, this event had a diverse range of styles, ensuring each match felt distinct. Danielson and Ospreay delivered a standout performance, the chaotic ladder match added excitement, and the emotion-packed main event met lofty expectations. While it may not have surpassed Revolution, it remained a highly entertaining four-hour spectacle. With most matches exceeding 15 minutes, each bout was given ample time to unfold, though some may have felt overly prolonged. While there were highlights, Jericho's antics left something to be desired, and those 17 minutes could have been better spent. At this point I don't think Tony understands how to make it a tighter PPV, I'll much rather have a show where four out of the six matches are great rather than a four out of nine, and that's the department AEW struggles a lot for me."

[7.0] "Another good episode of APC Evolution. Wrestling at the dojo seems to benefit everybody as the pupils can progress on their wrestling, but also the art of telling a story. The storylines are simple, but effective. And at the end, the rendering is dynamic. It is not just pupils of APC Dojo fighting, it's them improving their craft, and it is really cool to witness all of them evolving. Always cool to see their teachers appearing, as they are here to put them over."

I'm very bored of seeing OC and Chris Jericho now and could do with both having a rest. I really miss seeing hangman on tv tho."

[] "Too many advertisements. You are about to get immersed in the show and then a break pops up, again you try and another break pops up. With a weak tag division, so many breaks happen or were teased. You hype up audience with long promo shot of becky, but as soon as match is aboutto start you take another break. And the main problem was the crowd. The crowd sucked. A shit show can be good as long as the crowd gets involved and vice versa. WWE needs to either create other things to react for fans besides the bloodline, or they need to think hard before choosing future venues."

[8.0] "There was enough good action here and the ending felt important. The interesting part to me here was that the show focused on King & Queen of the Ring and Backlash, but the Draft was barely ever mentioned. That makes a lot of sense as there is only so much you can do with previewing something as random as the Draft. The next two shows are going to be interesting, but this show was mainly about getting ready for the next few big events. There are quite a few of them coming up, so getting this kind of night in helped them a bit."

[7.0] "Would be alot higher if this was tighter ppv, instantly I'd take out the six man tag match here, while decent it was completely unnecessary and the type stuff we see on Dynamite. Hook vs Jericho was already a match I didn't need to see again never mind a 16 minute version so that added again to a bloated ppv. I Was underwhelmed by both womens matches and really Willow might as well have just won in a squash match if it's only getting 6 minutes. Now to the positives: Okada vs Pac was pretty good I just wish it was slightly faster paced but overall very solid. The final 3 matches were all pretty good with Ospreay vs Danielson being the highlight. I think ill enjoy some of these matches more on a rewatch away from the ppv as is usually the case with most aew ppvs."

[8.0] "In my opinion, this PPV went better than I expected. I think Danielson v Ospreay was one of the best wrestling matches that AEW has ever had, and match-wise one of the best matches I've seen in a LONG time. It was one of those matches you will remember for a long time. Swerve winning the World Championship was a great moment, but the match was slightly lackluster, even though I wasn't expecting much. Still a great ending to the show. Most other matches were around what I expected. Solid PPV minus Jericho v HOOK, which I believe was exactly the opposite of what AEW needs right now. Putting over, and therefore reigning Jericho as FTW champion is extremely backwards booking when you see that the vast majority of fans are against Jericho right now. Hopefully they figure this out but I am also not sure it is the best idea for the FTW championship to be in his hands. I also worry for the future of HOOK. Jericho v Hook was a massive letdown, but Swerve winning the championship, and Ospreay v Danielson being the classic that it was really kept it alive for me."

Young talent that I happily discovered. That is one of the reason why BZW is good, they are able to scoot great talents before they get huge so fans could enjoy discovering new performers. Also having a tournament show is different from what BZW is usually doing and show their ability to adapt and create good quality shows in all circumstances."

BZW know how to do a card and put the light on everyone! Special mention to Tommbie for the hardcore match which was really good with Jacob Vadocq! Sure, Danielson vs Ospreay is an instant classic, but does its greatness diminish the snoozefest that followed Pac vs Okada? Literally, you could put these five matches on a random Rampage or Collision episode and no one would bat an eye."

The highlights for me were the first trios match which and the Cibernetico especially whenever Templario or Cavernario were in the ring. As for the main event while it wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, I was a bit disappointed with how bare-boned it was. Given that we don't see Octagon or Octagon wrestling too often on the Friday shows I was hoping for more of a focus on them since they're both legends of the sport."

[8.0] "My rating for this Raw is a 8/10 a solid show that keeps evolving and giving changes like the beginning with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee giving the welcome to everyone from the ring and then the matches were fine, I'm okay with the results and how things are going giving even things that will keep going with future storylines like Vinci getting betrayed by Gunther and Kaiser, Maxxine Dupri, Otis and Tozawa that are now in a difficult situation with Chad and his turn Heel, and I'm really hyped about what will happen If Otis attacks Chad or the end of the Alpha Academy, then also Tommaso Ciampa leaving the ring and Johnny Gargano, I don't know what to expect from that and If we'll have a future Gargano vs Ciampa, but then looks Liv can give up here or anyway, now Becky is the champion and looks like the future contenders for her new Title are interesting, so for that and the good production Triple H is putting on the show I'll give this Raw a 8/10"

The lack of talent in the field was obvious on only night 2, and the hard cam only footage, and smaller crowd didn't help. [7.0] "Some solid matches mixed with some bad matches. The positives obviously being Pac vs Okada, Danielson vs Ospreay, and Young Bucks vs FTR, though Jack Perry ending was pretty lukewarm. The negative: Jericho vs Hook, Willow vs Julia, and not bad just underwhelming giving the talent Toni vs Thunder Rosa. The rest of the card was good though: Swerve winning the talent after he should have last PPV, Strong Vs O'Reilly. House of Black vs team Cope was pretty underwhelming, but was fine for what it was Hopefully now with Julia/Willow storyline over Monee can final start to shine, because she hasn't had much to do since her debut."

[] "Arguably PPV of the year and the only competition is Revolution. Very well paced, Danielson vs Ospreay was sure to leave the crowd tired so a ladder match with a completely different structure afterward is perfect. Okada vs PAC did an amazing job as an opener too. The only match that was in a tough spot was Swerve vs Joe but even then crowd kicked in by the time Swerve won. The few blind spots are the obvious ones, Willow winning the TBS belt is great but the match itself just felt like Hart trtading the belt over so Willow could work with Mone and Jericho vs Hook, despite some fun spots, was terrible. Other than that pretty much a spotless PPV with one soon to be all-time great match in the middle of it. AEW is on an unbeforeseen run of great PPVs at the moment."

[8.0] "Opening RAW with the announcers in the ring was a good move and gave the whole thing big-fight energy. Even McAfee acquitted himself well. Short, but effective. I appreciated the promo between Jey and Damien. It's easy to forget, but when Damien is given time and a mic in his hand, he's a good talker. Really good voice that he can do a number of things with. Can go subtle, can turn on the menace. He played the flow of the congratulatory then smug heel really well. Uso did his thing with the crowd that he can do in his sleep by now. I'm interested to see what role GUNTHER will play with the Imperium feud - it seems like he ordered the attack on Vinci himself, but he also has championship dreams to chase. Xavier Woods was quite funny in reminding the world that he wore a crown recently. Drew McIntyre was great on the mic and Sheamus stepped up to him. That match will rule so hard when it happens. Chad Gable was deliciously rude. He doesn't quite have the performance down to a tee yet, but the vocal work was tremendous, really selling his disgust with Alpha Academy. For a table-setting episode of RAW before both the draft and Backlash, this was still quite interesting. So much intra-squad beef - Judgment Day, Imperium, Alpha Academy, DIY a little bit too. So many potentially juicy feuds getting going. Consistently good episode, even with that disappointing ending to the battle royal."

[7.0] "The theme of this one seemed to be the sowing of discord among established tag teams and stables. Damian Priest continues to push his Judgment Day stable that much closer to the point of mutiny. Ludwig Kaiser turned on Giovanni Vinci following their loss to the New Day. Their loss to the Awesome Truth led to the first signs of tension between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, the latter of whom looks like he might be heading for a heel turn. And Chad Gable publicly humiliated his Alpha Academy allies Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa, and Otis. Can't we all just get along? ! Oh yeah, and we also got a new WWE Women's World Champion. I'd have preferred to see Liv Morgan win it and start a dominant heel run building on the heat she already had from injuring Rhea Ripley, so I'm not crazy about the outcome, but hopefully WWE has a plan and doesn't just bring Liv's momentum to a screeching halt..."

[8.0] "A great Monday Night RAW right here to add to the collection of great WWE shows in 2024. We opened the show up with a Jey Uso/Damian Priest segment which was okay in building the matchup for Backlash. Awesome Truth vs. #DIY was also decent and planted the seeds for a DIY heel turn soon. Then we got GUNTHER making his return and declaring for the King of the Ring which led into a match between Imperium and the New Day which led to Giovanni Vinci getting kicked out of IMPERIUM. Then we got a Drew McIntyre/Sheamus segment where Sheamus dug into Drew and Drew dug into Sheamus. Nakamura then came out and they had an improptu match where yet again Nakamura loses because his character sucks! Chad Gable came out after and berated the Alpha Academy for being failures cementing his heel turn and explaining why he did what he did. Ricochet & Andrade teamed up to face JD McDonagh & Santos Escobar which was alright and the main event oh boy! The best match of the show ends on a sour note with Becky "Hulk Hogan" Lynch getting another FUCKING title again! YAYYYY! [****]"

[9.0] "Another great AEW event that continues to not disappoint on PPVs in 2024, Revolution was better, but Dynasty comes very close, 3 great matches on the card including a match of the year contender, a very interesting return and Swerve wins the gold. Okada vs. Pac: second best match on the card and a wonderful opener to raise the crowd for what was yet to come, I'm really enjoying this new Rainmaker heel (****1/4), Copeland/Kingston/Briscoe vs. HoB: teaser for Copeland vs. Black no DoN (**3/4), Julia vs. Willow: worst match of the night, but it wasn't bad, there just wasn't enough time (**), Strong vs. O'Reilly (***1/4), Hook vs. Jericho: fun match, very unfair by the way, even though I didn't like the result (***), Toni vs. Thunder: finally a good PPV match to solidify Toni's reign, which was very weak in the ring until recently (***1/2), Ospreay vs. Danielson: I believe there was a general consensus that this would be the best match of the night and MOTYC, but calmly it's not the best match in history, but it's an instant classic without a shadow of a doubt (*****), FTR vs. Bucks: the crowd started this match dead thanks to the delirium that was the previous match, a good match, but I think it's the weakest among the 4 that these teams played, detail that the best thing was Perry's return (****1/4), Joe vs. Swerve: it wasn't the best match in the world, but it did its job well, the storyline of Swerve moving up the card in search of the world title was wonderful and Joe had a great reign during that period (***1/2). Final grade: (8.5/10)"

The Will/Bryan match is likely the best match on North American soil. The Young Bucks/FTR match was enough and a great match in a already legendary rivalry. Toni/Rosa was eh. Fucking Jericho man smfh that match will prolly lead to Hook heading over to WWE which as a fan of both companies will be fun to see. Roddy vs Kyle was cool and a very nice match. I didn't care about the 6-Man tag match. And Okada had a great match with Pac. Overall a great show and I am super excited to see how Swerve and Will follow up their major wins. 8/10."

I liked seeing Bob Holly as always but his match here wasnt as good as last time. And my god Tim Horner is not a good talker. Even the main event let me down. Effy/Blake was my match of the night in a very good defense for Blake that also raised more of the stakes in Effy and Mances feud. Wouldnt call anything on the show bad and most of it was pretty enjoyable including the opener and Manders matches which cant be added yet. [6.0] "I wasn't looking forward to this show, which is half of the battle. You can have the greatest matches of all time on the card... It doesn't matter if what came before was the shits. None of these matches had a good build. The only match that had a build that was worthy of a ppv was Joe vs Swerve. But with Swerve trying to do the psycho thing while bleeding and basically saying "is that all you got" and than just getting beaten down again... he cooled down significantly as well. The first four matches were mediocre at best. Not because they were bad on a technical level but because of the lack of build and/or people to care about. PAC hasn't been consistently presented as anything so why is he having a 50/50 match for 20 minutes with Okada. Okada hasn't been presented well and doesn't look strong at all. Even less so now. I don't care about anyone in the six man tag, which is a pity because the House Of Black could be cool, Edge was once cool but already lost all his momentum, Mark Briscoe is a complete joke in AEW and Kingston is great on the mic and as a character but he's terrible in the ring. I do not care about Willow, nor Julia Hart and I care even less about whatever title they were fighting for. Hook's title doesn't matter either but at least Jericho and Hook created some interest. Yes Jericho has go away heat, but that's still better than no heat and no one else in the company has any heat. Jericho should be better at hiding his weaknesses (mainly his cardio) but other than that it was a good match imo that elevated Hook. Toni Storm is an over the top parody that I dislike an Thunder Rose is a good wrestler that I haven't seen in a while and had forgotten about. I don't remember why I should care. Despite that they had a good match. Danielson and Ospreay had a match of the year candidate... if only there was some type of build or reason for these two to fight beyond their supposed status as the best in the world. I've hated the Bucks for a while now for different reason. Mainly their lack of psychology, their lack of mic skills and charisma and their backstage politics. That being said, I enjoyed their match. Why? Well I don't like seeing these types of matches too often but I've only seen the Bucks twice this year (the other match being Revolution). Only seeing the bucks sporadically evidently helps. It also helped that I saw the travesty that was the 6-team ladder match at wrestlemania. It somewhat made me respect the bucks more. Despite what I think of them, their stuff looks good and seems as safe as these things can be. It's also 2 vs 2, which always makes more sense than having more bodies and more chaos out their. Despite not being the biggest fan of these matches anymore I must admit that The Bucks made it look better than anyone else in recent memory. The main event was good but too awkward at times with a couple of mistakes by Swerve. But it delivered adequately. To sum it all up. It's a good ppv with good matches... That didn't care about because of lack of build and people to care about. And it ran at least half an hour too long. 4 hours is too long for any event. Around 3h being the magic number and 3, 5h being the cut of point imo. Especially with it being all action. With WWE there are commercials to skip through (if you don't watch it live, which I never do because it would be in the middle of the night til early morning). AEW/Tony Khan needs to learn that having good matches and good ppv's isn't enough. Wrestling fans are wrestling fans because they want stories and characters to be invested in. If not, they'd watch mma or boxing instead. Every successful company ever succeeded because of the creative side of things. Signing big names and having great matches and nothing else has never worked and will never work."

The Stephanie Vaquer and AZM match was another highlight, and the Sabre/Riddle and Nemeth/Ishii matches were also very solid. [2.0] "The ultimate indie wet dream. There are two good matches on this show and still they're not the most exciting things you'll see. The opener is meh with none of the guys selling effects of anything, 6-Man Tag was one of the worst things on the show with Kingston outdoing himself when it comes to making people ashamed of watching wrestling and Willow vs Julia had Hart dominate a woman twice her size. Strong vs O'Reilly was one of the better things on this PPV, Jericho vs Hook was a comical disaster and Storm vs Rosa positively surprised with the contender especially impressing. Ospreay vs Danielson will be the talk of the year for every mark who doesn't care about psychology and making things special because movesets are more important to them, Bucks vs FTR was a horrible spotfest with Bald and Glock losing the remains of respect I had for them and the main event was underwhelming, although still it was nice to see Swerve finally get the big one. Another awfully booked, badly structured card with random, cold matches and I can't say I was expecting something else."

[6.0] "This was pretty much a DX show. They push the envelope in the opening segment when they strip with the hilariously placed DX sensors on the screen and then they are forced to face each other where it becomes a comical farce where Shawn takes a dive. Jim Cornette's reaction to it made it even more hilarious to watch. The Christmas shows are often lacking in star power and this was no exception but it did show a taped segment from the last week where Austin gives a bogus Santa Claus a stunner for insulting a kid. There's also a lot of shenanigans with the New Age Outlaws where they look for Mankind all show and get ambushed and end up locking him in a freezer. The matches aren't very good here, but there was a some fun memorable moments."

[5.0] "I didn't like how this show ended at all because the character assassination of Jim Neidhart and he just looks foolish where he betrays the Hart Foundation to join DX only for DX to turn on him anyway. As entertaining as Shawn was he was on a massive ego trip at this point. It was a hit and miss show for me. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the New Age Outlaws shock title win against LOD and the Austin/Rock feud in part was great and had a funny moment where there looked like there was technical problems when Rock cuts a promo only for the reveal that Austin was in the production truck. Despite not really liking the ending of the show DX still had a entertaining segment in the middle of the show. I also thought Sgt. Slaughter's promo was very passionate as well. Besides the tag title match and the fun Christopher vs Flanagan sprint, it was a pretty lacklustre show in terms of the matches with a particularly bad Shamrock vs Savio Vega match where it was competitive even though Shamrock was the #1 contender. Not really a fan of his booking at all. The first half of this show was decent and the War Zone half was pretty bad."

I wouldve shuffled the card around a bit, maybe put the trios match on before the main event so Joe/Swerve dont have to follow Ospreay/Danielson immediately. I think there wasnt a bad match on the card; sure Jericho/Hook wasnt great and Willow/Hart went short (maybe because of a previous injury) but it didnt kill the momentum of the other matches. The crowd was awesome too. Too pops for people standing; when Adam stood from his wheelchair and when Taz stood at the end of the Hook match, its a testament to the responsiveness of the crowd. They helped make the night special."

There were a few minor nitpicks here and there but overall this is probably in the top 5 of AEW's best shows ever, which is crazy that I've said that about both PPV's they've had so far this year. This show had one of the best wrestling matches I've ever seen (Ospreay/Danielson), along with several other good-very good matches that would've stood out as match of the night on any other card (PAC/Okada, KOR/Roddy, Bucks/FTR 4, Toni/Rosa). Not to mention the crowd, who were super hot from start to finish, and never seemed burnt out once throughout the entire card. In terms of sheer match and roster quality, AEW is on the run of a lifetime right now."

Hook losing to jericho was such a short sighted decision that does nothing but keep Hook in the vortex. However, there is easily 5 matches on this card that were worth the price of admission. A great PPV that was so close to being perfect."

[] "I had fun at the show! Chaz v Richie was my favorite while Alonzo v Lucas was up there too! crowd was super into the main event but they were also a lil gassed themselves from yelling. Lucas was a burst of energy and charisma! Alonzo was still finding his footing as a heel champ but he got it and hit some great spots. the brawl before was dope as hell, with some great chaos. I think everyone who performed did a solid job. Damian was great as a heel manager. I liked the connection between the two matches with Cameron and Chaz seemingly forming a tag team. also I liked the beginning promo with Damian saying he had a parlay on 3 of the matches with the guys from his group! then Che and Rico lost which made it not seem good for alonzo. plus then no one allowed ringside? rule of 3 done good! fun show, excited for there next one,"

[6.0] "A solid show from GCW especially for those that will enjoy the "420" theming. Some matches I did expect a little more from as the show did feel a bit long clocking in at over three hours (some of the recent UCC shows have particularly felt a bit longer than needed despite sellout crowds there.) The opening scramble would be my favorite of the night with the main event close behind. Blake Christian was pulled from the show for AEW/TKROH which having him there may have added some energy to the advertised trios match. Only real miss of the show for me was Santana/Tornado. Lio/Oliver was in my way to being MOTN prior to the ending."

[] "I really loved this one. Gotta admit that except for MASADA/Stone, Cage/Thachter and Riddle/Suzuki really nicley blanded MMA and pro wrestling, sure the submission were a bit weirdly made (no visual tap), thankfully didn't ruin enjoyment. Sure they could do interviews before the match, after all that's also in MMA not just pro wrestling, so missed that tiny bit."

[9.0] "Tremendous show. The only sore spot was Hook/Jericho and that had more to do with fatigue with Jericho rather than the match itself, and even then the crowd made up for it with their antics. PAC/Okada perfect opener, fantastic ladder match in a tough spot, Swerve finally getting his moment, and what quite possibly might be one of the best matches Ive ever seen in Danielson/Ospreay. You know its a good show when you cant get to sleep afterwards and are planning out when to watch some of the matches again the next day."
