[6.0] "This is a good show, not for the matches we got, but for the huge angle that played out here, as this is the show that Macho Man turned on hulk Hogan and the Mega Powers exploded. The Mega Powers versus Twin Towers match isn't that good in itself, though I did enjoy the Hercules versus Ted Dibiase match. Randy was awesome on this show, and looking back kinda justified; it's funny how many feuds back in the day that if you really think about it Hulk was kinda the bad guy. Akeem was the shits here. Solid show overall; big for historical factor."

[5.0] "This was weak for a 1997 episode of Raw. This does have a good Bret Hart promo as usual and the main event was fun because of the upset win The Patriot gets on Bret Hart because of Shawn Michaels distracting him. With the big PPV stipulation, this was a good way to make Bret look vulnerable with it also potentially being his last match on Raw in the US. This does a decent job with the hype for the main event at Summerslam, but it feels like it's more because of Shawn Michaels involvement than it was about the Undertaker. For a PPV go home show, there was just way too many filler matches for my liking, especially having Steve Austin and Dude Love defend the titles against the Godwinns! There was a few highlights but it's completely skippable."

[8.0] "The US vs Canada feud in the WWF made for some really good and chaotic TV and it's another entertaining Raw in Canada because of it. I'm not a big fan of the flag match stipulation, but the main event was still fun and well built throughout the show and this had some great moments with Bret and HBK's long running feud taking centre stage again with Austin now moving on to his brother Owen. This had some great promos with the Pro-Canada one from Bret continuing to get him support in these shows and the HBK later coming in and pretty much pushing the envelope and disrespecting the Canadian fans while also an he was made guest referee for Bret v Undertaker with it spilling into the next match where Bret interrupted it and attacks Vince McMahon in a pretty wild and chaotic moment. The matches are mostly okay, but the triple threat tag wasn't very good and Goldust v Faarooq had a strange ending, but they did use that as a filler match to give the fans a breather after the chaos that just went down with Bret and Vince! Very memorable episode overall."

[7.0] "Though this show was an average Dynamite which is still very high quality for weekly pro wrestling TV. The opening angle with Swerve and Joe set the pace for what would be a very chaotic show. The new opener was very fun with Cope and Penta having a great match. This is a combo I would have never thought to do but the end result was extremely fluid and they had much better chemistry than I would have guessed. Willow got involved after Julia and Brody attacked Adam which set a mixed "We didn't have time to hydrate or even pray" The All In footage was show and pretty much what I thought it would be "a high school scrap." They got eyes on the product and used it to build for their match with FTR. Then FTR got to use the segment as a way to cut a great babyface promo. If you're gonna use this as a ratings ploy this was the best way they could have done it. BIG BRUV defended himself because honestly who tf encompasses the grind in pro wrestling more than Ospreay? He then built for his match with Bryan who have a good video before this. STP got a nice win which you like to see while Jericho is very clearly being painted as the heel. Squash from Okada followed by him accepting the Pac challenge, also getting more heat on the Bucks which you love to see. Mariah may has shown to be such a good signing for AEW. She can go out there and have a good match with anyone on the roster and never detract from her story or "bury" her opponent. Then MINA GOT HER AEW DEBUT. Which a certain portion of the audience will go crazy for. Mone got attacked in the dark to the delight of that same portion lol. The main was fun and somehow Dustin makes every match feel way more intense even when the result is never in question."

[2.0] "Were they dedicated to producing the worst Dynamite episode possible? Putting over your rival company's 2nd-best babyface and then following it up with that Ospreay promo reminds me of the Billionaire Ted skits WWF had during the genesis of the Monday Night Wars (which didn't do any favours for them). The opener feels like a remedy for insomnia barring some moves Copeland pulled out. Why is Chris Jericho still on television? Honestly, thank goodness for this main event as this felt like a prize for sitting through almost 2 hours of an underwhelming pro-wrestling show."

[7.0] "This was a really good episode of early Dynamite here, and the penultimate of 2019. Jon Moxley squashes Alex Reynolds to open the show and then we get a lengthy segment where he talks to Mox about how he doesn't want to mess with the Inner Circle, but instead should join them. Speaking of Jericho (my MVP of this show) he also comes out after the Luchasaurus vs Sammy Guevara match and we end up with a match set between Jericho and Jungle Boy for the next week. My favourite mtch of the night was the Street Fight main event between Young Bucks and Proud 'N Powerful, while my least favourite was Big Swole vs Emi Sakura. My favourite segment of this show was MJF running down Cody, as my least favourite was the Brandi pre-tape. Some pretty good angles going on here."

[7.0] "The footage was pointless. However, I liked the angle they weaved with it with FTR and the Young Bucks. The wrestling was good to ok. Really liked that Ospreay promo. Mercedes needs a manager to do her talking for her. Stolkely would be perfect in that role."

[0.0] "The whole Punk and Bucks stuff is just embarrassing as someone who has been an AEW fan since day one, I haven't missed a single Dynamite. I was straight up feeling second hand embarrassment watching that. I don't understand what Tony is thinking. I wished it never would have happened because it just makes the product feel so uncool. If only they would have had some fantastic matches to compensate for this, but no, the only match I had any interest in watching was Copeland vs Penta, and that wasn't exactly a barn burner. Same goes for interesting in-ring or backstage segments, it was just a boring show outside of the terrible Punk vs Bucks segment. They don't really have any storyline that is capturing my imagination. The main event was bad both theoretically and practically. I would have turned this episode off if I watched it live, it made me reconsidered my future as a fan of AEW. Weekly episodic television is supposed to make you want to watch the next episode, this one made me want to catch up with the next one online."

[4.0] "A WrestleMania that gives me more doubts than answers, because It was an okay show with a few matches that were okay and other ones that for example the win of Yokozuna that was okay, to create a new face villain like he was, but Hulk Hogan came to according to him save the show because WrestleMania can't finish with a Heel as the winner, I like Hulk Hogan but seriously, this was a show to put over the other more young superstars of the moment and let go the old stars of the Golden Era, so a 4/10 I think it's okay, because It was a last view to the WWF of the Golden Era, but because of the try to put over the new young superstars of The New Generation Era, with only one who didn't accept his time was over, yes Hulk Hogan"

[8.0] "This was a genuinely very enjoyable episode. No matter your gripes with 1 particular angle it shouldn't overshadow how fun this show was. All the matches hit, although my only issue is the sudden end to Jericho/Hook/Shibata vs STP whilst the camera wasn't even on them and a lack of reaction for Lee Moriarty pinning Katsuyori Shibata. The opening angle was hot and brought the Joe/Dustin match into question but still allowed it to proceed in the main event. Dustin is still a great worker and Joe matched his style perfectly, though even those two couldn't compare to the opener between Copeland and Penta. Whilst it may have been a tad too long (still not enough to really hurt it), I never expected the chemistry we got between Cope and Penta in that match. Mariah is also an obvious win for the company as she's improved massively over the years and the Stardom relationship with AEW is looking very promising."

[0.0] "Boring matches, I didn't connect with any of them, show without title matches, It felt like a cringe show with things like Jerry The King Lawler kissing Bret Hart's foot, like who would've thought that was a good idea? Besides the King Of The Ring winner Mabel is like the last option they had to not make Bret Hart winner again, so a complete fail this show, 0/10"

[9.0] "What a great Takeover. To me the only bad match was the 6 woman tag match. But it wasn't a horrible match by any means. Just not on the level of the other matches. Match of the night for me without a shadow of a doubt was the Triple Threat match for the North American Championship. I highly recommend this show."

[0.0] "The faces of Tony Schiavone and Taz after the horrendous, horrendous Bucks/FTR/All In/Attempted Punk Dig told the whole story. At the very least, Ospreay taking a shot at Hunter for the other day - sure, that's fair. But, what in the wide, wide world of sports was the point of airing that All In footage? CM Punk looks like a god coming out of that, Tony a liar for the "scared for my life" BS and Jack Perry can never be taken seriously on American television ever, ever again. Copeland/Penta, sure, fine enough, but tonight was one step to WCW 2000 and after a record-setting WWE weekend, this is the worst case scenario for Khan and crew. When 'Moaning' Mercedes Mone (I love her, but seriously what the HELL was that segment) can't save the show, you know you're in deep shit. And this may seem like sour grapes, but the fact that Tony is taking a legitimate second option for talent and turning it into the Clown Show from Jacksonville starring Matt and Nick makes me sick. And since the man himself is probably reading this - Mr. Khan. There was a time before Punk you did good television, please move on from the Second City Saint, put the Bucks lower on the card and get Okada as far away from them as humanly possible and get MJF back on national television soon before your company becomes the subject of a Peacock documentary."

[2.0] "In this world there are two types of persons: Chris Hero(s) who are intense and worried and Malakai Black(s) who mind their own business and don't give a damn, be chill about it. I'll be a Hero today. Not that I sincerely think this destroyed or would destroy AEW (that's at least not going to happen in one day) but this is a bad pattern of behaviour that would cost them a lot long term. Just focus on your ratings and keep your WB/TNT tv deal huh? This is a type of TV that could have been honored with a 0 for various reasons but AEW have still some credits left in me. I wouldn't be so entitled to call myself an AEW mark but I really do prioritize their shows over anything (unless it's a WM weekend whatsoever). To me, that footage came out of nowhere. I don't think many people watched the last edition of Collision (it was taped due to NBA/NHL playoffs and then you know, a busy weekend due to WM XL). I saw the tweets of Waller, Dijak et al's tweets earlier and got confused, later on learned more about one of the absolute most horrific decisions AEW could have ever carry on. MOTN: Mariah vs Jay. Mina kissing Mariah is cheap but fine for what it's worth. I imagine why it would be confusing for the people who's not acquinted with Mina. It was a fine debut nevertheless. The promo between Toni/Rosa/Purazzo was perhaps the only saving grace. I don't mind Dustin wrestling for a title opportunity after Cody's big win, if anything we could say he tries to honour his brother in his way. It was an alright match. Penta and Cope overstayed their welcome a bit but pace started to pick up after a little white from the start. STP went home with an upset and the reintroduction of Ogogo is slightly interesting to say the least (if Keith Lee gets his health back they seriously need to consider making him a heel and run STP alongside Taylor. It'd be interesting to see him in the world title picture against Swerve but this time in reversed roles). Promos were sluggish because they were inevitably too self conscious (even Ospreay did it, yikes but I can rationalize it as PapaH sounded like he was rejected by two of the hottest girl in school and was ruminating about it). The footage (from pirated or legit sources) is being actively copyrighted and destroyed. Talk about a backpedalling. I'd understand if they didn't have a week to bitch about it but they totally did. Jack Perry is not a present force in AEW. They just buried a guy in NJPW. Unbelievable. Schivaone apparently didn't know what was the exact footage meant to be shown and he was objectively embarrassed (probably had some WCW flashbacks in the meantime). Tony Khan, himself, claimed he feared for his life for the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE. You expect a full MMA brawl and Phil casually puts JP in a headlock, smirking during his entrance at All-In and now looks like a complete badass. To be frank, he should have been at the point of his career where he had known better and went to business post-match but at least he worked the match and he was decently honest about the events if not completely. It was brought up by Helwani during a podcast and didn't eat up the rival's TV time. So, what's next? Taking shots at the podcaster? CM Punk chants echoed throughout the segment and even the night. He got over again in the company (after 10 MONTHS) he does not exist anymore. JP earned nothing from this as well as the YB. In kayfabe, neither of the teams needed that. Even your pre (og) talent (which is Spears) is mocking you online. Drew is ironically the only winner there and he didn't even try. You confuse the people who didn't follow this and embarrass the ones who did. We can't mention the rival here but they live rent-free in AEW's mind. The company you want to root for is the one who actively opens the gates that allows for tribalism. What a sick joke that is. TBS/TNT picked it up for sports aspect and my darling AEW barely had wrestling compared to promos today and those promos achieved nothing for Dynasty. In 2018 they were having backyard fun with bunch of indie wrestlers, 6 years later they can't move on without Punk even if indirectly. All this happens following the competition's best week ever in the recent years. Terrible look and seriously: fuck off. I am glad it received backlash and the promo being disliked to hell meanwhile all conscious fans mock the segment, bringing up valid points. This is how you move on and thrive, you cannot clash with your own consumer base. I'll be looking forward Dynasty but I don't know man, this sucked a lot of hype out of me. How could I possibly give a high score with a clear conscience? Cagematch essentially allows us to reflect our own experience and mine was inadequate (toned down version), I couldn't care less about the technicality this night (and well yeah it was a weak show all around anyway, as much as filler compared the past Collision and it's inexcusable). This went on way too long probably the longest review I put here ever but I am genuinely heartbroken and decided to be mad about it. AEW acts like a toxic ex and nobody should allow them to suck out the enjoyment while we try to move forward. Not everything does need to have a closure and even if they did, this ain't it."

[3.0] "Perfect example of why I don't like American TV Wrestling. To start with, there is the obsession with shoot drama over actual storylines. Not just the CM Punk stuff, but the shots taken at Triple H by Ospreay in his promo. And speaking of which. Way. Too. Many. Promos. Why not cut the amount down and give us another women's match? Or do you refuse to exceed your contractually mandated 1 women's match per show? Far too little actual wrestling went on in this WRESTLING show. Even then, aside from the opener, all the wrestling was mediocre with far too much standing around and playing to the crowd. The storytelling was pretty poor as well, with constant overuse of the same spot. The winner is attacked after the match, then someone runs in to save them. Every. Single. Time. Sometimes the lights go out before hand. This same formula is even used in the Mercedes Mone promo. Very little character nuance is shown with this, it's just good guy and bad guy. Even throwing in my favourite tag team of Rose Gold isn't enough to salvage it. Regarding some of the matches themselves, lets start with the opener of Copeland vs Penta. I did like this match overall, but it was seriously marred by the fact that this is a TV title defense. The vast majority of the time, the title isn't going to change hands at a non-PPV event. Knowing how it's going to end takes away from the experience, and I don't see why they keep insisting on doing it. Not every match needs to have big stakes, sometimes just treating it like the sport it is and having a solid match is enough. And as for the Okada match. Why. What is this achieving. You think you need to build up Okada? OKADA? Or are you trying to show those who don't know about him how great he is? Either way, this is rubbish. If it's to build him up, you don't need to. Stop. And if it's to show how strong he is, do you really think watching Johnny Jobber get beat in 1 minute will have any sort of lasting impression on the viewer? Why not show him in a match against someone established, and let his performance speak for itself? The characters are shallow, the storylines are shallow, and theres not enough focus on actual solid wrestling."

[0.0] "Adam Copeland and Penta was decent but random and heatless. Everything Jericho is involved in is poison. The Punk video was a huge bust. Not sure they can ever run Chicago again without the shows getting highjacked by CM Punk chants. That whole fiasco could potentially do real long term damage. Okada in a nothing squash in another heatless feud with PAC. Mercedes and the Marvez interview was terrible. She has not moved the needle at all and is not expected to wrestle for almost 2 months. Great. Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa in a feud with no story despite the fact that the two were a tag team for like a year. Mariah May is a star. Mina's debut in West Virginia of all places was bizarre. Giving May a huge kiss at the end to a confused reaction. Imagine if Dustin Rhodes had mentioned going for the title months ago and they built a story around his struggle to rise up the rankings. Instead, we get a one off promo on a Saturday night, playing off the fact that Cody was about to win the WWE title. And literally 3 days later he gets this match. All in all, this was top to bottom the worst Dynamite of all time. I genuinely feel like nothing in this company has heat right now. 90 percent of the champions defend the titles in a seemingly endless stream of open challenges completely devoid of any emotion. I feel like Tony is wasting the careers of some of the best wrestlers of all time. What a shame. Something needs to change."

It was a detriment to the rest of the show and the talent. And just to make it worse, they have one of the best wrestlers in the world come out on live tv and take a shot at the other company too. I walked away from this episode tonight embarrassed. Instead of focusing on improving their product, they are choosing to be reactionary and putting focus on things they shouldn't. Pathetic."

[] "Starting the show with Hunter welcoming everyone to the new era was expected. Cody coming out as a champion and the video package and the emotion out there was cool. The rock came out to drag the show and take some spotlight. I loved the surprises of ilja and Roxy coming out. Jade seems to be raw bound in the draft. Jade vs Rhea? Sign me up. Miz ruined raw for me. I like truth tho. Imperium deserve more respect in the WWE, they are legitimate A class tag team wrestling champs worthy. Main event was ok. Finally, I wish this new era leads to more wrestling matches and longer matches in weeekly shows."

[2.0] "Others will talk at length about the hot topic segment that AEW decided to air here. All I'll really say about it is that the promos surrounding it were good, but it also encapsulates my issues with AEW as a whole right now. AEW was recently on a roll with back to back huge debuts of some of the best wrestlers in the world after a hot PPV that saw the extremely emotional retirement of one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. Then the owner couldn't keep his mouth shut and his ego in check and now they're back to being the same laughing stock they were last year. That segment and the sour taste it left in my mouth are obviously my reasons for leaving a low rating, but the rest of the show as a whole was just mediocre, which made my disdain for this episode all that much worse. [7.0] "A good show but certainly not at the level that Takeover shows would reach a couple of years after this. The first two matches were fine but nothing matches. The rest of the card was good but all three matches had a very similar formula with matches building slowing before climaxing with good action but nothing mind blowing. Perhaps it would be fair to say that getting somebody like PAC to exchange side headlocks with his opponent is not the best use of his talent and this is a criticism I would have for all three of the top matches here. Good matches but sadly no great ones and this to me is not because of the wrestlers but the way the wrestlers were used and the promotion they were working in."

[2.0] "A week after starting the "AEW: Where the Best Wrestle" tagline and repeating that at least half a dozen times on last week's show, they had exactly one match in the first hour this week. I genuinely can't understand what the point in airing the All In footage was. Nobody in AEW looks better from that footage having aired. I actually like the fact the Bucks are using the incident as an explanation for losing at All In, that's a good touch and it also makes sense, but they could do that without the footage. The footage itself didn't disprove a single thing Punk said, and the person who looks worst coming out of it is TK himself after repeatedly saying the "I feared for my life" line. Punk stepped towards him while being held back by two people, and that's what TK "feared for his life" about? Then Ospreay comes out and takes the absolute most unoriginal shot one can take in pro wrestling, which also doesn't make sense because he's the one who originally said, "I picked AEW for the lighter schedule." It'd be one thing if Will had said, "I made the best choice for myself and my family, " left it at that, and then the other side takes a shot and says, "Well he didn't want the grind." If that had happened, Will's promo here would have made sense. But when Will himself says, "I didn't want the grind, " the other side just acknowledges that he said that, and then Will complains about it? That makes no sense. I want AEW to succeed so badly, but when they (and by "they" I mean TK, to be clear) just constantly prove that the other side lives rent-free in their heads, when they're actually dedicating TV time to respond to stuff that happened on the other side when that time could be used for, y'know, WRESTLING, it's just sad. Mercedes talked again, which is the thing she's worst at, and they continue to prove each and every week that their rankings system is useless considering she gets a title shot in her very first match after having been in the company for 2+ months without wrestling. I love watching Copeland in action so it doesn't matter to me that the match may have been unnecessarily long and gotten sluggish, it was still a good match. Am I imagining things or did Ogogo do literally nothing in the 6-man tag? After technically being legal for the first few seconds after the bell rang before tagging out, I don't remember him ever getting in the match again, which is strange. The match was fine though, and I've been a Shane Taylor fan for close to 8 years now so it's great to see him getting some recognition. May-Jay was your standard decent Dynamite women's match, which set up the debut of someone nobody there live seemed to know. Maybe put someone's name on the tron when you debut them, boss? Round 2 of Rhodes vs. Samoan named Joe was perfectly fine. After the Swerve attack that opened the show, I actually thought they might have Swerve cost Joe this match to get Dustin a win and a title shot, but they went with Joe heeling his way to a win, which is good too. Overall, I'd give a 6/10 to the wrestling on this show and a massive 0/10 to everything non-wrestling on this show. Since the footage was such a big selling point only to end up being a complete nothing-burger and potentially detrimental to AEW, it's a final 2/10 from me."

[8.0] "Another great episode of Dynamite; March was a great month of TV on the Dynamite side of things. We get two tag matches on this episode which sets up the tag tourney semi-finals to be Young Bucks vs Best friends. Speaking of Young Bucks, they are great on this episode; their backstage interview with Renee and abusing the EVP-evator were both great. The show opened with Will Ospreay vs Katsuyori Shibata; which turned out to be my favourite match of the night, though it was close with the main event. My least favourite match was the second tag; it was the only match here I didn't actively really enjoy. There was a great video package on Bryan Danielson narrated by Excalibur on this show. There's new number one contenders decided on this show in Willow Nightengale for the TBS title and Swerve Strickland for the World Title. The worst segment in my eyes was the setup for Butcher vs Dustin Rhodes, but the Lion Hook interview was down there too. A highly enjoyable show here overall."

[6.0] "This show was alright, but it fell below expectations in my opinion. The undercard was average to decent and the main event was good if a bit tepid. It absolutely sucks to see YOH get hurt so soon into the junior heavyweight title match, but I do appreciate how quickly NJPW were able to recover from it using SHO's character as the catalyst. I really hope YOH gets better soon because his shoulder looked rough. This show was overall enjoyable, but lacking given then prestige of the event. [4.0] "Kinda just a boring episode to be fair, really marred by the whole Punk/Jungle Boy fiasco. The opener went on way too long for my liking, I like Edge but I don't really want to watch him every single week. I get that he believes the TNT belt is a TV belt, But I would rather those matches have 15 minute time limits. The six man tag was inoffensive and had a crazy upset. Okada's squash was the match of the night, I'm not even an Okada guy but him beating that dude's ass was awesome. Mariah vs. Anna was fine, the whole segment was insane in a confusing way. Joe vs. Dustin was pretty good, props for Dustin bleeding. I know everyone's gonna talk about the whole Young Bucks thing, but all I'll say on the matter is that it really backfired on them, FTR's promo was pretty alright, sad the crowd didn't pop for the Rod & Todd Flanders reference, Ya know Good Christian Boys and all that."

To anyone saying AEW should move on with this story, did y'all miss on FTR's promo right after? Whether negative or positive, this angle/footage is now the talk of the town, and the return of Jack Perry is going be highly interesting. But let's not forget the rest of the show. The opening was unexpected and a great setup for later that night. Cope vs Penta was an absolute banger. Seeing Copeland doing lucha moves is the craziest timeline. Good progression in the women division, and Dustin/Joe totally deliver in the main event."

[5.0] "Not the worst pro wrestling TV show I've seen this week, but far from great. When AEW has been doing well this year, they've been possibly the best promotion in the world. When they're off, it's REALLY bad. This show was a bit of both. The first hour was lacking, despite the TNT title match being good (but twice as long as it should have been). The All-In video deal was a whole lot of nothing but played in well to the Bucks/FTR match. Also Mina Shirakawa showed up and did a thing people like. Main event was solid, though. One of the best Rhodes vs. Samoan matches I've ever seen."

[6.0] "[6.3] This show in particular is extremely hard to rate. Outside of Copeland vs Penta and to an extent the main event, most of the matches were just okay at best and mostly served as setup for stuff coming later. You have a Jerichoverse match which, despite putting fucking Shibata and HOOK in the Jerichoverse, does seem to be building to a Jericho heel turn that is extremely overdue, you have an Okada squash match to set up and make official his match against PAC at Dynasty, and a women's match that mostly serves to introduce Mina to Mariah's story. Cope/Penta was good, and Joe/Dustin was decent for the time it was given. That said, barely anyone who watched this show was here for the matches. Most everyone was here for the reveal of the All In backstage footage. I won't speak on the actual details because this is already pretty long and the main offender is no longer with AEW, but I think they toed the line and integrated it into the in-world narrative fairly well, and followed it up with what is probably the best promo work FTR has done. I do think it was a disproportionate response, but this and particularly the Ospreay promo later on just strike me as people expecting AEW to be an alternative that just doesn't respond when they start catching strays. Speaking of the Ospreay promo, it was really good and he's absolutely going to be the ace of the company eventually. There was a segment with Toni Storm beating down Thunder Rosa and a weird segment with Mone getting beaten down after a lights out spot. All in all, very mixed bag of a show, lot of good stuff, but the bad stuff on this show is gonna stay fresh for a while and probably should have just been left to be. Though, like I said, can't expect them to just sit there when they start catching strays."

[3.0] "Man I don't know what to say about this episode of AEW Dynamite. This exposed AEW pretty badly and made them look childish, petty & most importantly embarrased their company and their wrestlers as a whole. Let's get into the positives, the opening segment between Joe & Swerve was great, Copeland vs. El Zero Miedo was good, May vs. Jay was good and the main event was good, now let's get into the NEGATIVEs and OH BOY theirs a lot....The most obvious one is the All In footage shown. This didn't help anyone and quite frankly made AEW look like jokes and made every one of CM Punk's claims correct. The Six Man Tag was boring and the whole Lion Hook thing sucks and pushing Dustin Rhodes just to ride off Cody's recent success seems kinda scummy. Mercedes Mone's segments were awful, Will Ospreay's promo against the competitor was bad too. [*1/2]"

[4.0] "A pretty forgettable Wrestlemania that is in all honesty saved by the main event. Woman's wrestling is practically non existent in this era, the Intercontinental Championship match is practically a throwaway, there is an unreal amount of interference and shenanigans that end the majority of the matches, and only two matches on the card go at least ten minutes. I remember this 'Mania being a lot better, being in elementary school and checking it out on DVD from Blockbuster, and that definitely checks out. This is absolutely one of the worst Wrestlemania's of all time."

[0.0] "Ok, when you have the best pro wrestling roster around and your show is simply based on backstage drama from 8 months ago, it's just boring. It just showed that the version of that guy who shall not be named was right and that the owner of this company is the Elon Musk of pro wrestling. The matches on the show were good, the debut of the Mina was an interesting point of the show, but after that, Adam Copeland vs Penta, the show went downhill. Congrats to those involved. Also, it's worth mentioning that using this kind of situation for a Bucks vs FTR rivalry within Keyfab isn't the kind of thing a legitimate company would do."

[5.0] "The weakest ROH show so far. The only match worth watching here is Low Ki vs Joe, which is very good. There's a few other decent matches matches like the opening scramble and the main event, but nothing that you should go out of your way to see. The rest of this card is either just bad like Maritato vs Mamaluke and the Texas Deathmatch, or highly disappointing like the 3 way elimination match. Overall, this was just a very mediocre and highly skippable show with one extremely good match in Low Ki vs Joe."

[0.0] "Yikes. Just an overall yikes episode of Dynamite. Copeland and Penta was mostly strong at the end, but it went too long. The beginning of the show was unnecessary imo. The main event was solid. But sadly the biggest takeaway under 2 weeks from their PPV is beef from 8 months ago between two people that arent on the PPV or any of their programming. Id get showing the footage if Punk just flat out lied and it made Jack Perry look better, but showing it was a detriment to everyone not named Punk. The Bucks dont get the heel heat theyre looking for and it just makes the Bucks and Tony Khan look sad and desperate, and it completely destroys any credibility Jack Perry had. Youre under two weeks from a PPV thats featuring WILL OSPREAY VS BRYAN DANIELSON! Youre about to crown your first black world champion. You just debuted Mercedes Mone. Use the time for that! I dont understand the people saying this will kill the company, cause it wont. But dammit if it didnt kill an entire episode of Dynamite"

[6.0] "I drafted an earlier version of my thoughts on this show, then I saw the big red text below the comment box. All I'll say is that AEW should really concentrate on themselves rather than complain about Big Brother and any slights that come their way, even if Tony Khan feels as if he should defend his corner. It is really difficult being #2 when #1 is the strongest it's been in 25 years. The matches this week were decent, and there were some good promos, even if two of them fell into the overarching trap as mentioned. Now let's hope AEW lets it lie, and concentrates on its core strengths, as they had been having a really good 2024 up until recently."

Both are not on the same level and this company needs to accept that. It would be been better to just ignore it imo but hey, lets try to get back to 800k in the ratings. The wrestling was forgettable. If anything they accomplished making me go backwards on Dynasty. They were doing so good too. I really really want this company to succeed but this is not the way. This was just awful. Do better"

[8.0] "I liked the show mainly for the non-wrestling parts this week, as the matches were pretty standard stuff. The dreaded Wembley video segment was handled as well as possible and should temper the wildest speculation and hyperboles (spoiler: it won't), Ospreay promo was nice as was the FTR promo, Stokely/Willow/Cope segment was really good. Jericho story doesn't appear to stretch too long, witch was nice, and good for Moriarty getting pin. As whole everything was nicely building up to the next PPV and the only thing missing were the killer matches."

[6.0] "I have mixed feelings about what happened today. I will try to focus on both parts of the program so as not to get lost. Good opening with the Swerve and Joe segment, plus the great fight between Penta vs Copeland, I found it dynamic and with good chemistry between the two. I'm honestly torn on whether the Bucks needed to show the video or not, but I'll skip it and not comment on it. The trio fight was very poor, I understand that they want to continue with the story between Jericho and HOOK, but it hasn't been going anywhere for weeks. After Okada's squash I also felt very unnecessary for the programming. The match between Anna Jay and Mariah May was so-so for me and the main event was good to some extent, so I'm not complaining. After the Bucks segment, the program became extremely uncomfortable and many noticed this feeling. 6/10."

[7.0] "People gotta get outta the internet discourse and touch grass, it's wrestling and people take 4 minutes of an angle (a funny one, at that) and write a whole treatise about it. Wrestling companies beef, you don't have to do anything more than chuckle at the entertainment of it. Footage aside, which was fine, whatever, kind of un-shocking, this was a solid if slightly below average episode of Dynamite for their recent run. Some weird, sluggish pacing to the Penta/Copeland match maybe due to commercial time, and Copeland obviously can't move like Kommander did on Sunday, so it was a bit of a letdown... still cool to see these two in the ring together. Mariah May was fun, as always, and Mina Shirakawa coming out to be a potential romantic rival for Toni Storm is a great angle. Pretty bad promo from Mercedes, I'm getting more and more disappointed that they debuted her a full two months before she wrestles for them, it's setting up unrealistic expectation. But damn do I love Dustin Rhodes, and he did not disappoint tonight. Him and Joe put on a hell of a main event, just like I knew they would."

[4.0] "Well. I'll start by saying that AEW is the main company I watch. I watch all three shows weekly and every PPV. After tonight, IDK, I may step away until my man Kenny comes back, because this episode just left me feeling fucking depressed. I thought the matches tonight were either overly long (the opener) or just not that entertaining. Mariah and Anna was the highlight for me, and setting up the angle of who Mariah idolizes more was fun. Of course, the main focus tonight was the airing of the All In footage and somehow trying to tie that into an angle with the Bucks and FTR and somehow the return of Jack Perry. I do think this could've been done some other way and worked out better, but this just wasn't it. The crowd were chanting for fucking CM Punk, for fuck's sake. Why are you positioning the dude who just shit all over your business as the defacto babyface opposite the biggest heels in the company right now? Like, make it make sense! I despise Punk, and I want the company to just move on, and yet Tony Khan somehow managed to get CM Punk chants going again in AEW in 2024. Unreal. The Buck's did ok with trying to tie this nonsense together, but it was doomed to fail and FTR's promo was all over the place once Dax got the mic. Ospreay hit back at HHH, Mercedes is like watching a robot read a cue card of catch phrases. It's just wild how hyped I was for this show a few weeks ago and now I'm just bummed out."

But the energy was off and there were CM Punk chants. Yikes. Brutal stuff. Only one way to go from here right? The video was awful. Ospreay didn't need to do that either. Idk what to say. The Bucks playing a video worth no sound in kayfabe. I'm trying to get to 500 characters by saying something nice. The women all were great tonight"

[6.0] "Funniest fucking Dynamite I've ever seen in my life. It had a bunch of fun matches (Copeland v. Penta, Dustin v. Joe, Okada's squash match), some fun moments (Toni's segment, Mina kissing Mariah, some of Ospreay's promo, backstage promo with Copeland's trio along with Nightingale and Stokely) and an absolute of a shitshow angle from The Bucks who decided to be somehow more petty by showing what happened backstage at an event that was 7 AND A HALF MONTHS AGO! From a kayfabe standpoint, it was a hilarious shitshow. All it did was confirm everyone's standpoints and be somehow less objective than they could ever be. I couldn't take this seriously, it was so funny. And AEW will undoubtedly feel also embarrassed by that tactic by blocking anyone who shared that specific piece of content. From a quality perspective, this is not as bad as whatever the total Cagematch rating will be. But from an enjoyment standpoint, both ironically and unironcally, it's cranked up to an 11/10, I couldn't believe this shit, it was incredible lmao."

[1.0] "This show was a failure. The CCTV footage shown from all in (I cant elaborate because of this websites stupid rules, but chances are you know what Im talking about) was downright embarrassing and barely furthered the FTR/Bucks rivalry. The wrestling was decent at best and the only memorable match on this show was the TNT Title match. Everything else was mediocre at best. It sucks, because I hated this company, then I started to like it only for them to pull some stupid shit like this. This is the worst episode of Dynamite Ive ever seen."

[8.0] "As far as wrestling goes, the action tonight was what we'd expect from the weekly product: typically better-than-okay to very good (such as the Cope vs. Penta match). But that's not tonight was all about; tonight was all about the footage. In itself, the actual footage wasn't that explosive, but it did prove that CM Punk was an unprofessional coward for sucker-punching Jack Perry. I get the argument it shouldn't have aired, but there was probably a gentlemen's agreement to let it all go before Punk went on Helwani and started shooting shit. And hey, at least it got used to further the FTR/Bucks feud, which is a plus. Hopefully this can finally draw a line under everything, because there's no reason to be going for a he-said-she-said argument when the tape is out there for everyone to see. And yes, there was a definite undercurrent of pettiness tonight even outside the Punk video, but given AEW have been the recipient of a huge amount of shots over the past week, what's good for the goose is good for the gander, and you can't begrudge them for shooting back when taking the high road clearly hasn't been successful. Certainly, I'm not going to begrudge Ospreay for reminding certain people of some uncomfortable home truths vis-a-vis grinding, after all."

[5.0] "Look, I enjoy AEW most of the time. I think their roster is insanely talented and most of this year's angles have been quality (with a couple clear exceptions), but this episode had this cloud over it that made it hard to like what I saw because half the product seemed caught up in shit that does not matter. The Bucks showing the ACTUAL footage accomplished nothing, Dax cutting a promo about it accomplishing nothing doesn't fix that, Ospreay cutting a promo on another company's comments doesn't build to his match, Dustin Rhodes in your main event over somebody more relevant to the Joe/Swerve angle accomplishes nothing (nothing against Dustin), and unrelated but get Jericho the fuck away from HOOK/Shibata/STP. What's crazy is I enjoyed a MAJORITY of this episode! Bookending with Swerve beating Joe's ass rules, Cope vs Penta was good, Mariah vs Anna was good, Mina coming out as a real part of the Mariah/Toni angle rules, Joe vs Dustin as a match was good, Okada squashing a jobber and then beating PAC with a chair was good, the Briscoe/Kingston/Cope/Willow/Stoke promo was great. There's just this vibe that the outside references and unironic showing of 8-month-old footage create that makes me not want to care because I know all the discussion is going to be about that and not the fucking PPV that's in 11 days. Dynasty has an insane card so far but all people are talking about is bookers and owners and backstage shoots and ratings and I can't pretend to give a shit about that. As a wrestling show, solid. As a statement from the company, disheartening."

[4.0] "Let's get the good out of the way before I really bury them for showing that footage. Dustin/Joe was a decent main event. Penta vs. Cope was a really fun opening match. Mina Shirakawa showing up to help Mariah May was awesome. Now that we got this out of the way, what in the absolute FUCK did they think they were going to accomplish by airing that fucking footage? Did they think that it would get people interested in the FTR/Bucks match at the PPV because if that's the case, they failed miserably. That footage did more harm than good for them. It made Jack Perry look weak. It made the company look extremely petty. It got people to fucking CHANT for Punk in the building not only during the footage being shown but also during the beatdown of FTR at the hands of the Bucks and Okada. None of this is a defense of Punk by the way, he was stupid for starting it in the first place and he should have never talked about it on the Ariel Helwani show but still, what good did this really do at the end of the day? If they get an increase in viewership, great. But it would be an outlier. The time they spent airing the footage could have been better spent building a young star up with a promo package. At the end of the day, AEW struck out with this one. I just hope that now, we can all move the fuck on but I'm not holding my breath."

Anyways The opening match was fired up, Penta can give good match with anyone and that flying spear was great. The ending of the show match between Joe & Dustin Rhodes was good too not going to say was brutal or violent tbh it wasn't as great but decent match, the story btw Toni Storm Mariah may Thunder Ross is probably 2nd most entertaining thing right now in AEW. OKADA & PAC will surely going to deliver a marvelous match at PPV and Ospreay promos taking shots on you know lol. Overall it was the most entertaining show of the month."

[5.0] "Oof. That was a problematic episode, for a few reasons. It got better towards the end, with two pretty good matches to close the show - Mariah May is a super talented newer wrestler and the Club Venus reunion was excellent, and every time Dustin Rhodes wrestles at this point of his career is a treat. Plus, Rhodes vs a Samoan named Joe is appropriate after this weekend. The problem with the show was the whole middle hour, which featured no worthwhile wrestling after a very good opener, and was centred around something that will almost certainly backfire. I get why AEW and the Bucks felt they had to respond, and I appreciate that they used it to build to the match with FTR, but ultimately airing that footage put them in a no-win situation. It wasn't helped by it being surrounded by too many other promos and meaningless matches. It certainly wasn't the late period WCW disgrace some people make it out to be, and in blending reality and kayfabe it's certainly reminiscent of the better parts of the Attitude Era - but this isn't then. Far too much filler for a good episode, and an understandable but inevitable misstep on "that footage"."

Tony Khan just killed any credibility jack perry might have by letting him get bitchedd on national TV, I honestly have no interest in seeing him with the Elite because the security cam footage makes him not believable as a threat. Hopefully Tony learns from this and sticks to crafting captivating storylines instead of trying and failing to bury a wrestler that has been fired form aew for months."

I want AEW to succeed so badly but this might have been the nail in the coffin. reactionary responses to other companies comments on interviews that weren't aired on television? check! lesbian fetishization for cheap pop? check! making a star of another companies point proven? check! good stories? not check. sad cause I really wanted AEW to be a cool alternative, I wanted once I'm in wrestling to have options for people to have multiple major wrestling companies on TV but this was the most unprofessional show I've ever seen. would be 1/10 cause there was good matches but this was the most humiliating thing so it has no value. zero"

[4.0] "So let's start with the positives. Swerve v Joe opening was good, Copeland v Penta was good, all the matches they're building to for the PPV are gonna be great. As for the bad, oh boy. The Punk footage was a big ball of nothing and no one is gonna change their opinions they had before it. They gave people who have an agenda more ammunition against them. Nobody cares about Jericho in 2024. They had eyes on the product tonight and delivered mostly disappointing wrestling. You have one of the greatest rosters of all time and can't put on an entertaining show when all eyes are on you. Samoa Joe should not need to cheat to beat an inactive old wrestler in his sixties. Shibata took a meaningless pin to a stable that no one will care about in a couple weeks time. This promotion feels so flat right now and the weekly TV reflects that. This was so disappointing"

[2.0] "Unfortunately, my least favorite Dynamite this year. I had a feeling just from looking at the card that this would be underwhelming, but I didn't expect it to be downright embarrassing. 3 segments in a row tailored exclusively to internet fans who pay attention to every slightly controversial potshot taking up time on national television is just petty and stupid when there's barely tangible competition outside of wrestling fans arguing on reddit and twitter. The things that AEW (Khan, really) feels the need to respond to could be done with so much more tact, or better yet, in places that aren't on your centerpiece show where most of your audience has no fucking clue what you're talking about. The Bucks segment might go down as the most confusing decision AEW has ever made from an optics standpoint. Benefited no one in kayfabe, opened the floodgates for fans to tear each other apart again, and is comically outdated considering it centered around events that, realistically, everyone should have moved on from by now. And no, calling these things out via kayfabe proxy in an FTR rah-rah promo afterwards does not justify the segment. Jesus. This totally killed the crowd and sapped my interest for the rest of the show. Penta and Copeland was a decent match, but nothing else really hit. Jerichovortex remains toxic. Mercedes still hasn't wrestled. Having Shirakawa do a run-in to no crowd reaction was embarrassing, but if she's never been featured before on AEW TV, I can't blame them for not knowing who she is. Dustin is still an incredible worker but he's barely on TV enough to really justify this main event. This was not a great show and while Law of Dynamite dictates that every bad week is followed up by a good week, I wish we could get to the point where the bad weeks were just slightly less good weeks instead. This was kind of sad."

[6.0] "Some very solid in ring work and storyline development here, but the choice to air the "Brawl In" footage on live TV was kind of bizarre. I'm glad the footage is out there and hopefully it allows all parties to move on, but I don't think showing it really helped anything. Everyone made up their mind about this event months ago. I do like the Bucks alluding to FTR being behind the whole thing, but you could've done that without showing the footage. Anyways, outside of that momentous event I really liked the opening match especially. It's clear Copeland is just in AEW to check wrestlers off his bucket list and he looks better in the ring than he has in years. And finally we got some sort of movement on the Jericho/Hook storyline. I think they're cooking something really interesting with Mariah, Toni and Mina Shirakawa leading up to Forbidden Door as well. Hopefully now that they've responded so publicly to the WWE shots over the weekend, it's out of their system. I can't imagine more of this would be good for the shows. AEW needs to stick to what they do best and that is fantastic in ring work with believable characters."

[7.0] "The never ending stoke garden festival has ended, and we're in the Queens Theater Burslam. The crowd is a shadow of the Hanley Victoria hall shows. Vince Miller and Max Beesley both look like hopkirk from Randel and Hopkirk deceased, but apparently, Chic Cullen is back from injury. Beesley interviewers Wilkie and Ziggy Zag, in a missable segment. Despite the matches in the tournament being announced, we see a draw for the tournament. Clive Myers and Yamada have some sword play. Blondie Barratt/Rocky Moran v Brian Maxine/Keith Myatt, Maxine was the highlight of the match followed by the pensioner that slapped Blondie Barrett, commentary claim it's chic Cullen's mum Vera again but it doesn't look like her, so maybe the gimmick has been passed on like in mexian wrestling. Brian Dixon turns up and announces that it's a time limit draw much to everyone's confusion, then we get 5 minutes overtime. Blondie Barrett tries to give leverage to Moran for double reverse leg lever, and there is a pensioner and one man carrying a baby Riot at ringside! Vince Miller interviews Chic Cullen, who seems to have a championship belt for reasons. It's great to see him back, but interviews are not his strength, Cullen has no career plan B. Max Beesley interviews Pat Barrett, who is always a low point of the show. Clive "iron first" Myers (complete the actual European middleweight title, not his self awarded Cruiserweight championship of Jamaica)/Fuji Yamada v John Wilkie/Chris McNeill (ziggy zag). More swords play in what must be ligers' first televised excursion match, so notable for that. Wilkie low blow in front of referee only result in a public warning and getting hit by Vera with her shoe in the same hand as a lit cigarette! Yamada the standout in the match but ironfist is always worth a watch. Vince Miller interviews Blondie and Moran, Blondie is planning murder, and Moran is here for casual racism. American action of the month Abdullah the Butcher music video compliation from Southwest Championship wrestling... yes, really! Squash match, Dusty Rhodes promo Baby Doll distracts him for the Abdullah attack and Magnum TA in for the save, Squash match, tag with Barbarian squash, another music video. Mailbag time: One viewer thinks Rocco wouldn't last 5 minutes in America, and another wants less tennis and more wrestling on the channel (too right), Vince Miller says that rocco is training at Hanley Victoria Hall, which is very random. Max Beesley interviews Legendary Lonnie, whose career in rock music seems to have made him the promotions medical expert. Vince Miller interviews Clive Myers & Fuji Yamada. Pat Barrett v Chic Cullen, Barrett grabs the mic, but fortunately, the audio quality saves us from his 2nd promo of the night. Bell rings, ref stops match to remind Barrett the sleeper is band and restarts, first fall comes after a flurry of offence front Chullen following a Barrett snoozefest. Barrett works Cullens knee on the outside, a fan hits the refs head with a beer can thrown with venom, not great, Barrett wins second fall with the signal reverse leg lever. Cullen attacks Barrett with the Screenspots logo but no public warning, Barrett uses sleeper but just gets a 2nd public warning, uses sleeper again, pins Cullen, and bell rings... Barrett disqualified (finally) Barrett grabs the mic for a 3rd promo of the night which is 4 too many, the ref then counts out Barrett, Cullen appears to have won 3-1, a cluster but the best Pat Barrett match I've seen even after the slow start. Brian Maxine bemoans like luck to Max Beesley. Myers/Yamada v Blondie Barratt/Moran. Rocky Moran cuts a promo that Vince Miller has to decode for us despite him saying he couldn't hear it. Brian Dixon is completely unintelligible on the mic (the audio is awful), and Max Beesley claims that Rocky Moran asked Clive Myers for an arm wrestling match. Myers wins so Blondie challenges him, blondie cheating and moran attack Myers. It's a good idea to promote Myers' legitimate arm wrestling accomplishments. The brawl decends into a match. Myers wins with a reverse double Nelson sulpex, which me keeps locked in for the pin. Blondie throws water on the crowd, who are up at the appron quickly to complain, and just as quickly head for the last bus as commentary discuss the match. Vince Miller and Max Beesley close the show bow ties untied as its the end of series. Rocco arrives late who has a present for Vince Millers party, a birthday cake that he throws is vinces face to end the series. Stared slow and some dull bits but they are worth sitting through as some decent stuff on the show bit a strange end to the series."

[6.0] "An okay episode of Speed. Some of the cuts in the action/transition graphics make me question whether this match was even completed within the three minute time period. I also still struggle with the point of a Speed champion is. Assume Ricochet wins the championship and he has a match against Bronson Reed and neither man is able to win in 3 minutes. Is it a no contest? If so, it just makes the title seem like a poorly thought out WCW TV championship. I think WWE wants this to be like Blitz Chess. It needs to do more to make it come off that way."

[7.0] "NXT is usually so consistently good that it can be easy to take it for granted. This was the case here. Roxanne Perez is having a blast with this heel character and the crowd noticeably appreciates her getting a second run as champ. Meanwhile, Lyra Valkyria about got ran out of the building. After her program with Tatum Paxley, I hope she gets more chances to connect with the crowd, as she has a lot of potential if so. A lot of shuffling and seed-planting in an episode like this, with some interesting matches on deck to transition to Spring Breakin'. Dijak and Noam Dar especially has me intrigued. Even with Tony D'Angelo taking a breather, the Family was still front and center in a decently wrestled match with NQCC - NXT seems keen on keeping them in the mix of things. Ivar showing up was delightful and he and Femi are going to break the Richter scale. Likewise, The Final Testament are worthy opponents for the new tag champs and can make some noise on NXT. I liked Trick Willy's new normal - he needs a new title shot and that stipulation is intriguing, as I could see him both getting a good title run or going to the main roster. And, I'm glad he and Carmelo get another fight after the lackluster outing at Stand and Deliver - the beef between them seems far from over."

[3.0] "It's really bad. The only high notes were Jerry Lynn vs AJ Styles (their first match ever) and the cage match between Devon Storm and Sabu. Both were intense, fast paced and had some pretty good action. Totally recommended. Also the opener between Nova and AJ was fine, but too short. The Funkster vs Pierre Ouellet wasn't great, but the Funkster gimmik is so funny and well done. The rest of the show was awful, specially Teo vs Puppet and the tag team match. The main event was horrible, but it is what you could expect from an encounter involving Scott Steiner and Nathan Jones."

[6.0] "I had a great time at this show although some of the matches dragged a bit. My highlights of the night were Darian Bengston and Kody Manhorn. They were absolutely cooking in their match and I see bright futures for both those dudes. Then the main event was a great bloody barbed wire deathmatch with one of the nastiest gig jobs I've ever seen when suge d used a gusset plate and made Jaden Newman gush blood. Definitely should check out TWE it's a great promotion."

[5.0] "Once again the main thing that I like about these UK shows is the old-school setup. It feels like the 80s and the matches aren't usually some hardcore bollocks, but professional, short bouts and it wasn't different here. The opener was easily the best thing on the card with both teams not needing much time to get incredible reactions from the crowd. It also had other pleasant contests like Angle vs Benoit, The Hardys vs Edge & Christian or Guerrero vs Jericho. And the main event was also fine, although the booking of the whole chaos wasn't as good as at Backlash, but they still did a good job considering the fact that you knew the result from the start. Decent little show, but not something to get back to."

[5.0] "An episode similar to last week's. Another part of the ongoing tournament. I still miss the sound effects, graphics, intro, announcements and entrances, but I won't lower the rating twice for the same thing. After a good fight, JD McDonagh defeats Axiom and advances to the semi-finals of the tournament. JD McDonagh is not the favorite in this tournament, but I am rooting for him and I would like him to be the first WWE Speed Champion. It's a pity that we only got one match and not two like last week. I hope that next week there will be more emotions and two of matches will be on one week's schedule, but I doubt WWE will do that. To sum up: 5/10 again and I'm counting on a little more next week."

[3.0] "This is a pretty rough show, but there's a string of three solid matches towards the end there that save it from total disaster. My favourite was definitely Hansen and Luger, which I thought was a really fun brawl despite the silly finish. Unfortunately, everything prior to that is pretty weak. The international tag tournament is what takes up the majority of the show, and it's a fun idea, but it doesn't really work out. It's a lot of teams that aren't over with the crowd and whose styles clash pretty badly, having matches that are, for the most part, much too short to have much substance. The main event is the payoff to the atrocious Black Scorpion angle, which would have to be one of the most absurd storylines I have ever seen in wrestling. On the bright side, it does often fall in to 'so bad it's good' territory, so you can still get entertainment out of it (the spaceship entrance here was hilarious), but it all concludes in a pretty horrible wrestling match, so it's probably not worth sitting through it all unless your curiosity gets the best of you. I've certainly seen worse shows, but the fact that this was Starrcade makes me feel obligated to be pretty harsh on this occasion even if there are a few good matches."

[4.0] "I didn't like how little time the matches got. I think they should've let each match go a little longer and take some time off the angles the Sabu match should have been longer and was the best match of the night, my rating would be higher if the match went longer. The main event devolves too quickly into Hogan formula, but the crowd is extremely hot for it. I dont like Hogan his style and no sells is boring and repetitive. Love the feel of the show the set is great. All the stuff at the end about whether the faces could trust Luger or not was actually exceedingly well done i was a fan"

[4.0] "In your house continues its streak of below par PPV's. Venis/Jarrett is a solid opening match that picks up some speed by the end with Double J playing the heel role with ease as always. Don't know why Venis wasn't wrestling someone from Kai En Tai though since they were feuding (6/10) D'Lo/Xpac is another decent undercard match with the high speed style of X pac making Brown's power moves look killer. Title should've been on the line (6/10) Funk/Bradshaw vs Scorpio/Faarooq is a nothing match with some sloppy sequences all just building to Bradshaw turning heel. Would've been better if he teamed with Funk for a bit longer before it (4/10) Henry/Vader is pretty rough with a botched slam early on and just power moves without much interest. Vader was somehow still over despite the awful booking but this was awful (2/10) DOA/LOD is just what you would expect from these teams at this time. A few decen moments from Animal a whole lot of nothing from their opponents and the finish making the Road Warriors look dumb. Also Paul Ellering was there for some reason (3/10) The Dungeon match is an interesting change of pace with Owen and Shamrock being intese but its very short to be much of anything (5/10) Rock/Triple H is MOTN. the 30 minutes do feel pretty long at times but they do their best to try and keep excitement with the interference and signature spots (7/10) The bikini contest that gets hyped all over the show happens next and its just Attitude Era fanservice nonsense that shouldn't be wasting time. The Main Event is a decent brawl with Foley taking a few killer bumps and Austin bringing the spedd during moments. Crowd is into it as always and its mostly enjoyable. It does make it feel like the Tag Title don't really matter when they're just props for other singles feuds"

[6.0] "The good part: it was a better show than the average these days, thanks to some surprises and nice matches. Also, it was a so much better RAW after Mania than last year. The bad part: it was quite a mid RAW after Mania show. The only surprise that truly hyped me was having one of the best wrestlers in the world and one of the two best wrestlers in WWE today, Ilja Dragunov debuting in one of the best glorified squashes I've ever seen. That speaks volumes of how great both Ilja and Shinsuke Nakamura are, and I can't even imagine what a real all out match between both men would be. Some of the time given to the Awesome Truth match should've been given to this match and I'm sure it would've been one of the best of the year so far. Repeating the same move with the women was so lazy. It was good to see Roxanne, but there was no creativity there. At least that match served to keep developing the story of Indi and Candice (so good for a low-card story). John Cena entering the handicap match was made obvious by WWE, and I think, just like WrestleMania, that he should've appeared earlier. The opening segment was too much for me. Cody Rhodes did good, but The Rock's delivery of a pretty good promo with no silliness on his behalf and setting a future 1 on 1 match with Cody was so bad and boring. The eternal silences, the neverending interruptions to let the people react (it's ok to let the people express themselves, but he just kept killing the vibe over and over and he looked like he never could end a sentence). And sorry, but I strongly dislike how they're making something that's already big, epic and great by itself look bigger so forcibly (I never see any other World Champion in WWE be treated like Cody Rhodes. Austin, Cena, Hogan, Bryan... When did they get that much pomp and circumstance for winning a Title? They never needed it and their moments felt iconic by itself). We got some new stories began like Gable vs Sami (I'm really hyped for that. The match can be great, but the potential feud could've be even greater), and some random stuff like Jade squashing Chelsea Green because they have to present Jade as a big star instead of letting her show with a more organic booking. Drew McIntyre once again killing it on the mic and his feud with CM Punk getting hotter, a nice main event... Show was enjoyable for the 3 hours, and despite some issues, it was better than usual. I actually felt that sense of re-start and freshness. Let's see if this is actually going to be a new era."

So many ebbs and flows, I really appreciate the comedic aspects and callbacks. It's a good break from super serious wrestling, and a compliment to the variety of entertainment that GCW provides."

[9.0] "Now this night felt more like a Wrestlemania as opposed to Night 1. Seth vs Drew was a good way to open the show and give the fans something to react to. The angle afterward was good too. The 6 man was boring not going into detail on that, Styles/Knight the crowd was a good piece of business heck of a performance from AJ. Orton/Owens/Paul was really good. Iyo/Bayley was fantastic and most importantly Cody got to finish the story. Thumbs up from me"

[9.0] "First time that the second night was better than the first in this two-night WrestleMania era. All title matches were good to great (including a classic), two dull matches, but nothing that ruined the great night it was. Seth vs. Drew: as short as this match was and it was a finisher fest, it worked well, in addition to the entire post-match segment of Drew and Punk leading to Priest's cash in, the night started off really well (****1/4) . Pride vs. Testament: the most uninteresting match in terms of booking of both nights, it was the weakest of the night, the heels should have won, but at least the callbacks to the Dudley Boyz raised the crowd (**1/2). Knight vs. Styles: the megastar isn't the best performer in the world and AJ is no longer at his prime so we couldn't expect much from here, they did the basics and it worked, LA came out on top (***). Paul vs. Owens vs. Orton: the dynamic of Randy and KO against Logan Paul was sensational, WWE rarely disappoints in triple threat matches on the biggest stage and this time was no exception (***1/2). Sky vs. Bayley: even though Iyo's reign was very poorly booked, at least this match did justice to her talent, coupled with a good story (***3/4). Roman vs. Cody: nonsense, overbooking, low pace, but it still worked, the story was finished and a classic was made. MOTN (****1/2). Final rating for both nights (8/10)"

[6.0] "This is much likely a watered-down WM Night 1 show, I guess the exhaustion of watching a 2-night Mania comes into effect the Night 2 has arrived. As usual, Night 1 always stands tall against the Night 2 of Mania. I guess WWE needs to reduce it back to a one-day WM show. But overall, it is not a bad show. The sudden appearance by John Cena and Undertaker is amazing, fitting for its 40th anniversary. Anyway, here are my ratings for this event: Rollins vs McIntyre, my review on the matchguide, (***3/4), Priest vs McIntyre, don't like how they ruined McIntyre's WM moment, (not rated due to the match being only 7 seconds), The Pride vs Final Testament, a dull match only to be saved by a nostalgia due to Philly and Bubba Ray, (*1/4), Styles vs Knight, an alright match, (***1/4), Logan vs KO vs Orton, my review on the matchguide, (***3/4), Bayley vs IYO, my review on the matchguide, MOTN (****1/2) and Cody vs Reigns, my review on the matchguide, (****). Seeing Cody finally finishes the story is such a satisfaction. The mid-match run-ins may consider to be the top 10 greatest WrestleMania moments of all time. The post-match celebration reminiscent to Bret Hart's victory 30 years ago at WM, simply touching and memorable. My negatives are Stephanie McMahon welcoming the fans, the Philly Street Fight and Snoop Dogg's segment."

[] "Incredible Mania. One of the best of all time. Wrestlemania Sunday is an incredible event. People will say it doesn't compare to Wrestlemania 17, but wrestlemania 17 has a few trash matches. The opening was great between Rollins and Drew and has a very memorable post match 7.5/10 and perfect way to start the show. The street fight 6 man isn't good, but keeps the crowd entertained 4/10. I enjoyed LA Knight vs AJ more than most apparently 7/10. The US triple threat delivers and has it's own great moments 8/10. Bayley and IYO put on a great women's match 8.25/10. Now that main event just wow. I know wrestling is subjective and people like what they like. To me, this is pro wrestling. It's not about the moves. It's about the story and the genuine crowd reaction ( not applauding a match because you think you have to). The story is spot on here. The action is great and the interference fits due to everything the bloodline has done. People asking why Cena is there, he had a feud with Solo. As for Taker....it's BABYFACES helping BABYFACES which is ignored to much in today's wrestling. The pop you get from the crowd at the end, the emotion and the joy, now that's a 5 star match. 10/10"

Started off draggy though with The Rock and Cody having that pretty weird segment but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I think thats also the reason Shinsuke/Ilja was so short because they went over. That match picked up and was looking to be great but a sudden end to it ruined it for me. The tag match was decent, I didnt think the NXT Womens Champion would show up on Raw to squash Indi but okay I guess. Sami still going with Imperium and the title match vs Chad is looking good for next week. Jade squashing Chelsea wasnt a surprise and the main event was really good in my opinion.
