[0.0] "A 45 minute promo in the first commercial free hour is almost a bait and switch. It felt so much like an episode of Nitro from 1998 when it was 3 hours. The first hour was basically like a pre show. Then, in keeping with the new tradition of nothing big happening during the Raw after mania, nothing big happened. Sorry, as good as Ilja Dragunov is, he's not a big enough star anywhere to be considered a huge surprise. It was also less than 5 minutes with Shinsuke Nakamura who I assume is happy with the money he's making to do nothing for the 8th year. Every match was mediocre except for the main event which was decent but not enough to make this something to recommend. Another comment here nailed it, for a company the fans were saying "saved pro wrestling" and had the "greatest mania ever", this is not how you follow it up."

Nonsensical booking like the Cody-Brock trash led to good matches down the line, but was a waste of time for a 3-hour show. Speaking of which, only contained 30 minutes of wrestling on it. One of the worst WWE television episodes of all time, easy. [0/10]"

Id get showing the footage if Punk just flat out lied and it made Jack Perry look better, but showing it was a detriment to everyone not named Punk. The Bucks dont get the heel heat theyre looking for and it just makes the Bucks and Tony Khan look sad and desperate, and it completely destroys any credibility Jack Perry had. Youre under two weeks from a PPV thats featuring WILL OSPREAY VS BRYAN DANIELSON! Youre about to crown your first black world champion. You just debuted Mercedes Mone. Use the time for that! I dont understand the people saying this will kill the company, cause it wont. But dammit if it didnt kill an entire episode of Dynamite"

[0.0] "Ok, when you have the best pro wrestling roster around and your show is simply based on backstage drama from 8 months ago, it's just boring. It just showed that the version of that guy who shall not be named was right and that the owner of this company is the Elon Musk of pro wrestling. The matches on the show were good, the debut of the Mina was an interesting point of the show, but after that, Adam Copeland vs Penta, the show went downhill. Congrats to those involved. Also, it's worth mentioning that using this kind of situation for a Bucks vs FTR rivalry within Keyfab isn't the kind of thing a legitimate company would do."

It was a detriment to the rest of the show and the talent. And just to make it worse, they have one of the best wrestlers in the world come out on live tv and take a shot at the other company too. I walked away from this episode tonight embarrassed. Instead of focusing on improving their product, they are choosing to be reactionary and putting focus on things they shouldn't. Pathetic."

[0.0] "Adam Copeland and Penta was decent but random and heatless. Everything Jericho is involved in is poison. The Punk video was a huge bust. Not sure they can ever run Chicago again without the shows getting highjacked by CM Punk chants. That whole fiasco could potentially do real long term damage. Okada in a nothing squash in another heatless feud with PAC. Mercedes and the Marvez interview was terrible. She has not moved the needle at all and is not expected to wrestle for almost 2 months. Great. Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa in a feud with no story despite the fact that the two were a tag team for like a year. Mariah May is a star. Mina's debut in West Virginia of all places was bizarre. Giving May a huge kiss at the end to a confused reaction. Imagine if Dustin Rhodes had mentioned going for the title months ago and they built a story around his struggle to rise up the rankings. Instead, we get a one off promo on a Saturday night, playing off the fact that Cody was about to win the WWE title. And literally 3 days later he gets this match. All in all, this was top to bottom the worst Dynamite of all time. I genuinely feel like nothing in this company has heat right now. 90 percent of the champions defend the titles in a seemingly endless stream of open challenges completely devoid of any emotion. I feel like Tony is wasting the careers of some of the best wrestlers of all time. What a shame. Something needs to change."

[0.0] "The faces of Tony Schiavone and Taz after the horrendous, horrendous Bucks/FTR/All In/Attempted Punk Dig told the whole story. At the very least, Ospreay taking a shot at Hunter for the other day - sure, that's fair. But, what in the wide, wide world of sports was the point of airing that All In footage? CM Punk looks like a god coming out of that, Tony a liar for the "scared for my life" BS and Jack Perry can never be taken seriously on American television ever, ever again. Copeland/Penta, sure, fine enough, but tonight was one step to WCW 2000 and after a record-setting WWE weekend, this is the worst case scenario for Khan and crew. When 'Moaning' Mercedes Mone (I love her, but seriously what the HELL was that segment) can't save the show, you know you're in deep shit. And this may seem like sour grapes, but the fact that Tony is taking a legitimate second option for talent and turning it into the Clown Show from Jacksonville starring Matt and Nick makes me sick. And since the man himself is probably reading this - Mr. Khan. There was a time before Punk you did good television, please move on from the Second City Saint, put the Bucks lower on the card and get Okada as far away from them as humanly possible and get MJF back on national television soon before your company becomes the subject of a Peacock documentary."

[0.0] "The whole Punk and Bucks stuff is just embarrassing as someone who has been an AEW fan since day one, I haven't missed a single Dynamite. I was straight up feeling second hand embarrassment watching that. I don't understand what Tony is thinking. I wished it never would have happened because it just makes the product feel so uncool. If only they would have had some fantastic matches to compensate for this, but no, the only match I had any interest in watching was Copeland vs Penta, and that wasn't exactly a barn burner. Same goes for interesting in-ring or backstage segments, it was just a boring show outside of the terrible Punk vs Bucks segment. They don't really have any storyline that is capturing my imagination. The main event was bad both theoretically and practically. I would have turned this episode off if I watched it live, it made me reconsidered my future as a fan of AEW. Weekly episodic television is supposed to make you want to watch the next episode, this one made me want to catch up with the next one online."

[0.0] "As a devoted AEW fan from the beginning, I find the recent Punk-Bucks situation cringeworthy. The whole episode left me feeling utterly disappointed, with the exception of Copeland vs. Penta. The storylines fail to captivate me, and the main event was both theoretically and practically underwhelming. If I had watched it live, I would have changed the channel. This lackluster episode makes me question my loyalty to AEW. Ideally, weekly shows should leave you eager for more; this one, however, made me consider watching future episodes online."

[0.0] "Rough show and theres just a feeling of desperation in the air. The guys will always work hard but its impossible to be optimistic. A shockingly high amount of awful things - the bucks promo, the ospreay promo, the Sasha angle (a fake awkward backstage beatdown on a show centered around a real one), the tacky lesbian angle , the idea of the Rhodes main event. Its impossible to be optimistic at the direction of the show. There was less good wrestling on this show which usually bails out from other shortcomings."

[0.0] "It was a disastrous show. The CM Punk/Jack Perry footage being the major factor but not the only one. The idea to show this footage was surprising but I thought they must have a reason for it but no. It was just a cynical ratings ploy. The footage was very similar to Punk's version of events and lends him credibility. And even got him cheers and chants on the show. I hope this isn't something that carries on through future weeks. FTR tried to save it with a decent promo but it was a tough task. They then even followed this straight up with a shoot promo aimed at Triple H by Will Ospreay. They don't need to do this. It reeks of desperation. As does the forced sexual content with the Toni/Mariah/Mina kissing and the strange Mercedes angle. They need a big reset of the show. Go back to basics next week. Cut out the cheapness. I feel like I missed a few weeks of TV with the abrupt Jericho change of character."

[0.0] "It's terrible when you have to use certain things in order to create hype. Aside of that, if you are looking to the card it's a strange transitional one. The mediocre (in a good way) part is the spoken one, the less of the show. Matches are boring and random in some case, the better you get is the Copeland match, not more than merely sufficient. Not okay even with the main event, that's why: put the brother of the other Rhodes in an eliminator bout I know he would have lose. Under basic "workrate" then. Maybe the worst Dynamite ever."

[0.0] "AEW in 2024 is slowly morphing into 2000 WCW and its not a good thing for the promotion, they lost a ton of money in 2023 and if this episode of Dynamite is anything to go by its gonna happen again in 2024. This episode proved one thing to me and its that Tony Khan has an unhealthy obsession with WWE, the video of the Punk altercation at All In and the Ospreay comments were not needed but he felt they were. Hopefully this is just one of those bad episodes and the rest of 2024 goes well we really need it to."

I love all forms of professional wrestling, I'm neither a WWE or AEW fanboy, but having the entire premise of your show being built around a guy who ISN'T EVEN IN YOUR COMPANY ANYMORE is just absolutely awful! The only way this would be somewhat acceptable is if the footage of Punk/Perry ended up with Perry getting the upperhand on Punk. The incident went exactly the way CM Punk said it did, so airing it did... nothing? Aside from prove CM Punk right about everything that happened. And why did they think this would be good for Jack Perry? I'm not his biggest fan, but c'mon... you don't want to actively bury somebody who is on your roster. Unless this is some weird fetish Tony has and likes to embarrass people who wronged him, then it just doesn't make any sense."

From Ospreay absolutely awful promo, which they tried to hide as a promo against danielson, same for the punk footage, dude you can just show them, no need to justify it on a storyline. But everything was so low effort, everything. The start, every single promo, match, sometimes i think aew is coming back, it definetly is not. But i guess it worked the purpose they were behind, or whatever TK had in mind, which seems to please the most toxic community i have ever seen. This company makes me less proud of being a fan every day"

[0.0] "It's just sad, I'm not angry at this show, I'm just sad because although there was some stuff on this show that was okay, it was overshadowed by the terrible use of backstage footage at all in. If you think they didn't mess up, just watch the Okada segment when fans were chanting CM Punk. The FTR promo was forced garbage just like Adam Copeland's. I feel sad for Swerve who hopefully is about to become AEW champion, but even that will be overshadowed by this nonsense. The worst part about the footage, is they just proved CM Punk right, giving validity to any future statements he makes about the company I love. What an awful defensive decision Tony khan booked. Osperay is also fighting Bryan Danielson in 10 days, a match that I should be looking forward to with weeks of build, there was none of that tonight. Instead another defensive promo, because Will was hurt over HHH's comments. Such a petty episode, the worst episode of Dynamite I've ever witnessed, it felt like Vince."

[0.0] "This may seem unfair to the roster as a whole but fuck it. This was an absolute cluster fuck of a disaster, why just why would you show that bloody footage on live TV when ALL IT DID was prove Punk right. This makes nobody in the situation look good and it quite frankly I didn't watch any more of the show after the footage aired because I was so baffled. It was idiotic and Tony Khan and The EVP's should be ashamed of themselves. I've seen many people comparing this to WCW 2001 and while I think that's a tad bit extreme but honestly I don't think they're far off reaching that territory at this point."

[0.0] "Saw it in person. Loved it. The show frankly felt euphoric for me. It's rare to feel accepted sometimes so the atmosphere at the show was pretty validating. VENY vs Edith Surreal is my favorite match I've seen live and it's not particularly close. Makes me want to give the show a 10. Knowing how poorly the promoter handled absolutely everything though... well it's a real shame."

[0.0] "I've watched AEW religiously since it began, until Samoa Joe (closer to 50 than 40) won the title for unknown reasons. I still keep up with the product, and buy all the PPV's, but only watch the cable shows if there's a match or well promoted show I'm interested in. Dynamite 236 was the absolute rock bottom of my AEW journey. The show featured the All In "brawl" footage, the 55 year old brother of the top baby face from AEW's rival promotion getting a match against the AEW champ, a 50+ year old former champion from AEW's rival defending the TNT title against Penta, and Wil Ospreay spending TV time on Dynamite discussing shots fired from, again, a rival promotion. We also saw Shibata get pinned by Lee Moriarty, in a match designed to manufacture "storyline" around another 50+ year old former champ from a rival promotion, who nobody is interested in watching any longer. Shibata pinned by Lee Moriarty on Dynamite. And we're supposed to think that Shibata has any chance of winning his next match when it's promoted as a "dream match". AEW was supposed to be the alternative. AEW was supposed to be about great wrestling. AEW was supposed to be about pushing younger talent instead of guys who have been around for decades and are 20+ years past their prime. AEW was supposed to be about putting the creative arts back in the hands of the artists. Instead AEW is intent on wasting TV time on Dynamite sparring with its rival promotion over comments made on podcasts that a majority of the AEW audience don't even know about. The approach on this show, and booking in general lately, is 100% against the spirit of the company that was a dream come true and provided years of outstanding wrestling entertainment. I'm not giving up on AEW yet, and based on the approach over the next week and at Dynasty, hopefully things can get back on track. Hopefully Dynamite 236 wasn't the "Bash at the Beach 2000" moment that spirals the company into disaster. It doesn't have to be. There's plenty of outstanding talent (especially under 50 years old) on this roster, and by simply getting back to showcasing younger and more athletic talent, and putting on great matches, things should be fine. But if the nonsense that was pushed on this show keeps up, it doesn't bode well for the future of AEW."

[0.0] "A lot of people saw this because they wanted to see the train wreck that was the releasing of the all in london backstage footage. It wasn't the trainwreck I thought it was but it was still a dumb idea. It distracted from the story. The Bucks tried to use it as part of their story with FTR and possibly for Jungle Boy's return but failed. AEW should focus on themselves and not on something that happened 6 months ago with a guy that's not in the company since. What people don't talk about enough is how bad the Will Ospreay promo was. I respect(ed) Ospreay as a wrestler. He used his airtime on Dynamite to respond to something Triple H said. Yes yes, Triple H did the same but we teach small children that "two wrongs don't make a right". Will Ospreay used his promo time for something that's outside the company about someone they can never do business with. This interchange can never lead to a match or even an angle. I had no idea what he was even talking about and I had to look it up. So all he did was move my eyes away from the AEW product and onto the WWE product and both company's are already doing that well enough (AEW is running people of and WWE is hot, that is). Will Ospreay should be suspended for this without pay for some time and warned that one more misstep and he's fired. That's how bad this is. Off course he's not going to be punished in any way shape or form. There's another example of AEW not focusing on themselves in this same episode and it's the main event. They booked a son of Dusty Rhodes against a Samoan named Joe for the world title. Again, mirroring WWE and making themselves look like the cheapest parody of WWE they can possibly be. I don't remember the last time I saw so many bad ideas on one show. I'm not even sure I ever saw it. Some have compared this to the fingerpoke of doom. But the fingerpoke at least TRIED to do something for the company. It tried to put heat on Hogan and Nash. It didn't blatantly copy or otherwise imply the other company. This episode actively told everyone watching it: hey look at that other bigger, more successful company... and that's all they told us. This is so much worse than the fingerpoke of doom."

[0.0] "Holy shit. I'm at a loss for words, how is this the same company I fell in love with in 2021. This was the most unorganised, amateur show I have EVER seen from AEW. They have a PPV in a week and I am not excited about anything (bar Ospreay vs. Bryan). At this point Tony Khan needs help, he is seriously out his depth as a booker. I want the best for AEW, I want the best for the industry, the only way they will succeed is with Tony handing over the reigns to someone with proper experience. But he hasn't listened in the past, I don't have much hope he'll listen now."

[0.0] "This SD caused me a lot of discomfort for Triple H, WWE and The Rock, which fortunately had a happy ending for everyone. But still, looking back, I don't know what WWE wanted to do here. But it certainly deserves the score it has, one of the worst SD endings in its history and one of the worst segments in pro-wrestling."

[0.0] "This was a tough watch. There's only one match of any quality on this show, amid an endless parade of mediocrity. We open with a nothing match between Rick Martel and Koko B. Ware, and if that doesn't set the tone for tonight, I don't know what will. Demolition then won the World Tag Team Titles off of the Colossal Connection in a dull match featuring a largely immobile Andre. We then got a short and pointless match between Hercules and Earthquake. Brutus Beefcake then proved that even Mr. Perfect cant have a good match with everyone. Somehow, the WWF decided it was a good idea to let Roddy Piper paint himself half black for his match with Bad News Brown in the moment that led to this show's 0 rating. The Hart Foundation squashed the Bolsheviks before the Barbarian had a short and uninteresting match with Tito Santana. Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire had a bad mixed tag team match with Randy Savage and Queen Sherri. in the biggest disappointment of the night, the Rockers had a bad match with the Orient Express, cancelling out their strong effort at the Rumble. Jim Duggan had a dull match with Dino Bravo before Ted DiBiase and Jake Roberts had another unexciting match for the Million Dollar Title. The Big Boss Man had a short match before Rick Rude and Jimmy Snuka stunk the place out. Finally, the Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan in the Match of the Night, where both the World Heavyweight Title and the Intercontinental Title were on the line."

[0.0] "The King Of The Ring PPVs I think they were unnecessary, I don't get the point of It, I think they got a title match If they become King Of The Ring, but if you lose that match then you're basically a king of nothing, and also this King Of The Ring like the others is a PPV that I see slow, don't get what is this doing on a Wrestling universe, it's just another consolation prize without prestige with only one king of the ring that was interesting for me, and It was King Booker, so my rating for this event a 0/10"

[0.0] "Looking back, keeping Cody entertained for 1 year, so that he could have his revenge at WM XL, worked. However, this RAW was horrible no matter how you look at it, it left a bitter taste, something that has not been seen in WWE for a long time, perhaps since 2019 during the Vince era."

I wasn't able to watch it live, so when I opened X I expected that I will be greeted with clips from Dynamite - what I saw was the ALL IN backstage video, without pre Bucks promo and post FTR promo, I saw Mina Shirakawa kissing Mariah May, with nothing said about the Mariah vs Anna match, I saw Mercedes Mone moaning compilation, without anything said about her promo and with zero discussions about who attacked her, and I saw the moment of Will Ospreay's promo where he insults Triple H, with continuation about Danielson cut from the clip. This is prime 2000 ECW, 2010 TNA and 2020 WWE stuff. AEW doesn't defend themselves, they always defended themselves with great wrestling, great stories, great TV, this is gone now, Tony Khan has not idea and hasn't had any idea for a long time how to book a fucking show, with consideration what happened on previous and what will happen on the next show. He just wants to stick it to WWE above everything, every shot WWE fired on AEW was outside their TV, on some internet shows that only insiders watch. On the other hand, Tony Khan seems to be booking his product depending on what WWE does from thursday to wednesday and its UNWATCHABLE. Nothing works right now, even screw all I said before that, the matches on this show were GARBAGE. AEW TV matches present ZERO variety, they are slow, repetitive and hold zero consequences no matter the outcome, just BIG NAMES, and veterans having "fun" doing what they did their whole careers, unwatchable. I can read the red note below my comment, but in this occasion its impossible to focus on only one promotion, while the show itself focuses on another promotion. I hope it will be the last time I write something like this."

[0.0] "This episode featured: three different people over 50 wrestling, a lesbian kiss, a video of a real fight between two people that are currently not featured in AEW TV, a random overlay of a golf course appearing for some reason, a meta-breaking worked shoot promo from FTR (why are you showing this indeed, Cash), a whodunit backstage attack (with terrible acting) on Mercedes "I'll wrestle in two months so all of this is pointless" Mone, a promo taking a shot at the opposition, a main event between two people over 45 and a crowd chanting for a guy that the company fired. Is it 2000 WCW bad? Probably not. But it's as close as it gets."

[0.0] "This PPV is probably the worst I have ever seen in my life. At least from WWE history, I try to find something positive but there is nothing. A gaunlet that seemed irrelevant to me. The matches for the Tag team titles of raw and smackdown did not mark anything positive for me, the single matches were too useless. The match between Lesnar and Ricochet is not to be seen again. I didn't like Reigns and Corbin even with the steel cage. Bayley and Naomi did not live up to expectations, and ultimately what they did to Bray was unforgivable. Lots of pyrotechnics, but the event was not very enjoyable. Glorified house show at its best"

[1.0] "Weak stage settling, weak main event that took away time from the rest of the matches, and not even one very good match at the 1st night, even if we had Gunther against Zayn. The women's title had a good ending but not a good start. The tag ladder match was way too short. The SD title was taken too soon that the match didn't even enter mid-stage, the SD title was gone. But the spots of Ciampa and JD were good. The Lucha tag match was nothing special and nothing too good, but it was bad that Kelce came out to help Rey beat Escobar and Dominik.. The Usos match was terrible. Can't tell a story and dull movesets. Womens 3V3 was all normal, but Belair and the Kabuki warriors tried to carry. IC match was below expectation. They should've pulled a better match without that much meaningless story segments of Gunther trash talking to Sami's wife. And the main event... overbooked and too slow, also sucked the blood of other matches. They could've been better. The overall booking of this PPV is unbearable, and the entrances plus audience reaction were also terrible. Way worse than last year. So overall 1/10."

The wrestling was decent at best and the only memorable match on this show was the TNT Title match. Everything else was mediocre at best. It sucks, because I hated this company, then I started to like it only for them to pull some stupid shit like this. This is the worst episode of Dynamite Ive ever seen."

[1.0] "[0.50/5.00]: It's hard to mention "rivals" while writing about this review, considering how much of a portion is dedicated to ex-workers than building upon their own. Now I don't mean to sound as a hypocrite while writing this, my thoughts on the Ariel Helwani podcast and Triple H's interview with Pat McAfee is somewhat similar but to a lesser degree considering they were just answering questions, with Triple H "fumbling" on free agents and, the majority of, CM Punk's view on the Brawl In matter at Wembley. But were those jabs taken at the expense of AEW, not sure, but don't come nearly enough as petty as what transpired today on this card. Seeing Tony Schiavone's reaction to it all being unfolded, reliving the booking days of Vince Russo and WCW in 2000 is genuinely sad, over a segment that made an ex-worker more over and a fanbase more obnoxious by the end of it, Tony Khan pretty much confirmed two things at the expense of it: CM Punk didn't lie about what he said, and that Tony Khan himself is not a real boss. None of it helped in expanding upon AEW's programming, except for burying its own talents. And even if that wasn't enough, Will Ospreay took a very "not-subtle" jab at Triple H over grinding the boss' daughter, which comes out as unprofessional, artificial, and corporate, something that Ospreay has fought against for the majority of his career. AND Even if that wasn't enough, the main event is a Rhodes vs a Samoan, living in the coattails of what happened a few days prior, to show how average that match would be without added interferences that made it special (STILL NOT FUCKING SURE HOW Samoa Joe is in AEW Title Eliminator while being an AEW champion, wtf? ) This episode was designed for those specific internet niche crowd diehards that would go to any lengths to defend it and hate on the competitor, this episode was designed for grabbing attention by a worker who doesn't work there anymore but tried making him needlessly the bad guy out of this, this episode is the living embodiment of a child wailing on "I'm number one, the other guys are bad, please pick me, why don't you love me." For a show taglined as "Where the Best Wrestle, " where none showed their best tonight. Again, I'm not in any way, shape or form conforming to Tribalism, but this episode reveled on that concept. Fuck tribalism. Fuck this show."

They will never recover from this, from the baffling decision to show that CM Punk described the Jack Perry incident accurately, to Will Ospreay embarrassing himself on a promo, this is the beginning of the end. Tony, I know you will read this so I am saying this directly to you: Please stop trying to be the booker. You are not good at this. You're good at booking PPV matches, but week to week you are not good at this. Please hire someone to do that for you, someone with loads of experience, like Scott D'more or someone like that. Please. AEW is good for wrestling but you've made it into a joke with last night's episode."

[1.0] "Tony Khan has officially lost the plot. In what world would airing the CM Punk/Jungle Boy altercation enhance an angle or benefit the product in any way, shape or form? All it did was prove that CM Punk was right and gave an accurate account of what happened at All In. Then they follow it up with Ospreay talking about Triple H. Who is Ospreay wrestling at Dynasty, Danielson or Triple H? Renee looked extremely uncomfortable with promo and I don't blame her. Tony Khan needs to step away for a while and let someone book the shows who is actually competent."

[1.0] "This episode failed professional wrestling. Not only do you are that CM Punk footage that entirely corroborates his Ariel Helwani interview, but it makes Jack look like an asshole, it takes attention away from your world champion, who was in the clip breaking up the fight, you got people talking about Chris Hero more than Mariah May and Anna Jay, WHO WERE WRESTLING ON THE ACTUAL SHOW, THE WRESTLING SHOW, ABOUT WRESTLING. It sucks! It's 2010 WWE RAW, it's 1999 WCW, it's those horrid Dixie Carter-EC3 angles they used to run, it's everything that makes this business less great. Also, that Will Osperay stuff wasn't great, but it does make sense for his character to be kind of obtuse, so I will give that a single point (plus Adam and Penta did work a soft banger, let's not be obtuse, ourselves). It was a stupid promo by Will, but one that was contextually relevant on one of the most misguided shows in professional wrestling history."

[1.0] "Dynamite and AEW have stood for wrestling. In this show, we received only about 45 minutes of wrestling. Edge vs Pentagon started off slow but picked up. Good match. The continued abyss that is anyone in Chris Jerichos circle/purview continues. Here, Hook and Shibata were dragged down as was Shane Taylor Promotions. Jericho is not interesting and I dont feel hes lifting up new talent, nor do I see it. I dont feel that Hook is going to come out the other side of this better than when he started. I dont care if he gets a win over Jericho. I dont currently see my perception of Hook changing because of this. Okada squashed a talent. Fine. The women only get one match on a show that had only 45 minutes of wrestling. Rhodes v Joe was fine too, nothing special. Swerve is a special talent and I look forward to his World title reign. Finally, the Bucks and Punk. What an abysmal segment. Punk told the truth in what happened. What was the best they could hope for? If Punk was a badass, then it makes Perry look weak and adds to Punks mythos. If Punk lied and was made to look like a fool/weakling, then I question why TK feared for his life. This was a bad idea that probably changed no ones mind about those involved. It was a cheap ratings ploy. AEW should be better than this. AEW should be above this. Disappointment. As for Ospreay, I can certainly appreciate he felt jilted by the grind comment from Triple H. However, what was Ospreays point? That HHH and Steph love each other? That he have a long lasting marriage? What a gotcha."

[1.0] "An absolutely miserable experience. The opening four-way and Chavo vs Rey are fine, but not PPV-worthy. JBL vs Eddie Guerrero is the only match on the show worth watching, with the two having an excellent bull rope match. Everything else on the show is the drizzling shits. Kenzo Suzuki, Luther Reigns, and Mordecai win boring pseudo-squash matches, and Sable vs Torrie is one of the worst women's matches ever. Considering the people they were working with, these matches being awful was no surprise. The biggest dud is the main event, the Dudleyz vs Undertaker. Legitimately the worst main event match since Diesel vs Mabel, the most decorated tag team in the industry and one of Smackdown's biggest stars spend 20 minutes doing nothing, all while a stuntman who doesn't look all that much like Paul Bearer is sitting in a box of "concrete". After watching this show, I almost wish I was the one buried in the Concrete Crypt so I wouldn't have to live with the pain of having seen this dreadful show. JBL/Guerrero is the only reason this show isn't a complete dud."

[1.0] "Airing footage of a talent over somewhere else in order to pop a rating. Having one of the best wrestlers in the world "shoot" on the most powerful individual in pro wrestling. Mercedes isn't even sniffing a ring. Jericho keeping up a feud with Hook no one wants. Swerve and Joe save this from being a 0, but not by much. Fools already calling for Jack to take the belt off Swerve...why? No one wants this. Swerve is the best thing to happen to the promotion since MJF winning the belt, so why would they want to move past him and hotshot a midcarder? Please get better, AEW. We need you to survive. You can't just book for smarks on Reddit and here."

[1.0] "The Bret Hart promo was painful. The ladder match was fine but could have been a lot better. After that they had a lot of bad backstage segments. The Dog Collar match was absolutely horrible. The rules of the match were weird as how can weapons be illegal. Also having the announcers on the PA makes the refs look even more incompetent. The hardcore match was a more basic match but for the most part inoffensive. The battle royale was not good. The scene with the ring girl and Lawler was absolutely horrid and so many non-wrestlers that did nothing. Jarrett vs Jones was a bad match. Dogg vs Lane and Lodi was a bad match full of stupid sexual inuendos. Also wouldn't the Road Dogg pin have been a double pin since the one was facing down. Wow this show was really sexualized and this ladder match proves it. In ring action was not too bad but the ladies with straps took so much away from the match and it had a terrible finish. Did not like the whole Vampire Warrior vs Luna Vachon angle and it was a short bad match. The Disco Inferno/Banana segment was just plain stupid. Cage match main event was overbooked with Bret being overly featured and the wrestling isn't good enough to make up for some of the stupidity."

[1.0] "Seriously no reason for these WWE preshows to be as long and uneventful as they are, so I'm going to rate them all poorly for as long as they continue existing in my watch!"

[1.0] "Only watched the carnival matches, and they were all ranging from bad, to average at best. The lack of talent in the field was obvious on only night 2, and the hard cam only footage, and smaller crowd didn't help. We'll see if I can actually get through all the carnival matches this year. 1.5/10, rounded down."

[2.0] "Normally I wouldnt complain if a Rock segment during this specific time period took up a big portion of the show, but it happened to be during the divas search of all things, and the best part was the little brawl they had toward the end. Edge/Jericho was lifeless because both guys are really cold during this time, and Regal/Flair was just fine. The Triple H segment was fine stuff nothing special, but you need more considering its the world title program. Overall just not a very good Raw"

[2.0] "Very bloated show with C to D tier celebrities. Where WrestleMania 1 used celebrities to get some mainstream attention, especially Muhammid Ali's appearance to bring in real sports fans. The main event was adequate, but seriously worse than the previous year."

[2.0] "It's a shame what AEW TV has become recently. The matches for the most part have always been a constant, but it just feels like they exist. There's very little actual heat right now between the wrestlers. Swerve and Joe had a nice step forward in that regard, however very few other programs have that feeling of high stakes in AEW right now. I didn't even think the Copeland promo was the most offensive thing on the show, that would be the Jay White/Billy Gunn disaster of a match. While it's not her fault, Thunder Rosa is out of her depth as the challenger for the women's world title right now. She's incredibly tough for coming back from that devastating back injury, however she isn't at top form yet, and she should not be challenging for that title right now. When your tagline is "where the best wrestle", you can't be putting on shows like this if you want that line to be taken seriously. Rough night for AEW."

[2.0] "BAD, bad show. Thunder Rosa Vs. Mariah May was a fine main event-best part of the show---I hope to see them both in the ring against each other again very soon, they're both very fine (literally & figuratively). Very good ten minute match...everything else was just a blur. Show was filled with cringe promos (most notably from Edge & Willow Nightingale)& puzzling booking (Hobbs & Archer-two huge guys losing their matches to high priced flippers). TK would've been best ignoring the Punk interview from a few days ago. Most matches had the typical video game wrestling style you've come to expect EVERY week. I'm waiting for Mercedes Moné to jump into action, they better not wait much longer. Oh, how many times was Samoa Joe going to clock Swerve in the head with the fist wrapped with the chain? It reminded me of Sting getting hit in the head with Vampiro's cinderblock back in WCW. The action is becoming far too cartoony."

[2.0] "pretty poor show in general. some weird bookings, and a match featuring two LITERAL CHILDREN! Not one to seek out."

[2.0] "Zack Ryder with a soul patch still looks crazy, Percy Watson having a talk show segment was certainly a decision, and the matches were dull. If you manage to make a battle royal dull, that is a very bad sign."

[2.0] "The worst Dynamite in a looooong time, it nearly ruined my hype for Dynasty... but Danielson vs Ospreay is enough for me to keep my hope. The women were so badly showcased like seriously what the hell was this ? A women main event with someone (Mariah May) who isn't ready to be in the main event of a show with the Bucks, Danielson and Ospreay. This looked so bad and made their division look like trash (which isn't tho ! ) The tag team match was meh and I don't want the obvious FTR vs Bucks match that they are teasing. The 2 first singles matches were meh too, Ospreay didn't look as exciting as he truly is and Danielson having such a normal match isn't normal for him. And yeah, White vs Gunn was one of the worst AEW matches ever. Gunn is a 60yo man who nearly squashed a former IWGP champion AND an actual champion in ROH like what was that ? Seriously I get it, Gunn is retiring soon but that and ruining the Trios title isn't what we need from a legend like him. This was god awful and to be honest I don't see a reason why this match should happen in the first place. Awful"

[2.0] "This is becoming a real issue on Friday night, the run of piss poor shows is incredible. Theyre saving all their energy for Monday nights now it seems, this wasnt just forgettable, it was markedly abysmal. This show never cares about showcasing wrestling at the best of times, and a day before Mania I accept theyd rein it in even further (is that possible? ! ) but this was a horrible lazy effort the day before the biggest show of the year. A lot of Mania matches have had horrible builds, and this did nothing to rectify any of them. The sooner theyre off Fox the better, it seems they have no interest in producing anything barring the bare minimum each week, knowing theyre getting by with good ratings due to accessibility. On my last legs with this show, its miserable"

[2.0] "The streak of WrestleMania Night 1 out-doing Night 2 has been broken over its knee and scattered to the four winds. This felt entirely like Vince in full senile decline was back at the helm and all of the excesses of Manias like 32 and 34 packaged into a show with half the matches of those two. Granted, Rhea/Becky and Gunther/Sami were exceptionally good matches, but in between we got messy matches, matches that were way too short, and just downright bad matches. Nearly every match on the card felt it needed some more time to cook to reach greatness, except the one that didn't need it at all: the Bloodline vs Seth and Cody. God, that was so long and dull that by the end of it I was discussing everything BUT the match with people. Horribly paced, with a horrible main event. If this is the much-vaunted start of the Levesque era, then meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Get on your knees and pray that you won't get fooled again."

[2.0] "It was worthy of a typical September PPV, but in a big arena. No one will remember who took Gunther's title. Overdose of commercials, shitty main event, nothing on the level of a Wrestlemania, let alone the 40th. Only the last 15 minutes of the show are any good. Very light. Wrestlemania in 2 nights is really not a good idea. No legends, even though that's what Wrestlemania is all about. Night 2 will have to try three times as hard to save the face. For the moment, Supercard Of Honor is the show of the weekend."

[2.0] "Undoubtably one of the worst shows I've ever sat through, this was terrible in every sense of the word. I'm actually mad at myself for watching it. Outside of Larry Zbyszko, none of this was worth watching. Terrible. Just terrible."

[2.0] "Why did I watch Raw? Oh because I had nothing better to do and I thought JUST MAYBE something would happen. Instead, we got a 40+ minute promo that could have been done in a third of that time. A bunch of meaningless matches filled the rest of the show. And the main event quietly went from elimination to one fall during the match, but it was hard to care about that match because there were multiple commercial breaks. Just torture all around. Ill stick to watching the clips on YouTube, if that."

[2.0] "This episode was largely pointless with dull to bad matches and really nothing else going for it. Eli Cottonwood is finally gone so I guess that is a plus."

[2.0] "Unfortunately, my least favorite Dynamite this year. I had a feeling just from looking at the card that this would be underwhelming, but I didn't expect it to be downright embarrassing. 3 segments in a row tailored exclusively to internet fans who pay attention to every slightly controversial potshot taking up time on national television is just petty and stupid when there's barely tangible competition outside of wrestling fans arguing on reddit and twitter. The things that AEW (Khan, really) feels the need to respond to could be done with so much more tact, or better yet, in places that aren't on your centerpiece show where most of your audience has no fucking clue what you're talking about.The Bucks segment might go down as the most confusing decision AEW has ever made from an optics standpoint. Benefited no one in kayfabe, opened the floodgates for fans to tear each other apart again, and is comically outdated considering it centered around events that, realistically, everyone should have moved on from by now. And no, calling these things out via kayfabe proxy in an FTR rah-rah promo afterwards does not justify the segment. Jesus. This totally killed the crowd and sapped my interest for the rest of the show. Penta and Copeland was a decent match, but nothing else really hit. Jerichovortex remains toxic. Mercedes still hasn't wrestled. Having Shirakawa do a run-in to no crowd reaction was embarrassing, but if she's never been featured before on AEW TV, I can't blame them for not knowing who she is. Dustin is still an incredible worker but he's barely on TV enough to really justify this main event. This was not a great show and while Law of Dynamite dictates that every bad week is followed up by a good week, I wish we could get to the point where the bad weeks were just slightly less good weeks instead. This was kind of sad."

[2.0] "Doesn't feel good giving this low of a grade but the vibes on this show were awful. There were some good things, Cope v Penta, Mariah, Toni, thunder, Deonna, FTR promo was one for the ages. But the energy was off and there were CM Punk chants. Yikes. Brutal stuff. Only one way to go from here right? The video was awful. Ospreay didn't need to do that either. Idk what to say. The Bucks playing a video worth no sound in kayfabe. I'm trying to get to 500 characters by saying something nice. The women all were great tonight"

[2.0] "A week after starting the "AEW: Where the Best Wrestle" tagline and repeating that at least half a dozen times on last week's show, they had exactly one match in the first hour this week. I genuinely can't understand what the point in airing the All In footage was. Nobody in AEW looks better from that footage having aired. I actually like the fact the Bucks are using the incident as an explanation for losing at All In, that's a good touch and it also makes sense, but they could do that without the footage. The footage itself didn't disprove a single thing Punk said, and the person who looks worst coming out of it is TK himself after repeatedly saying the "I feared for my life" line. Punk stepped towards him while being held back by two people, and that's what TK "feared for his life" about? Then Ospreay comes out and takes the absolute most unoriginal shot one can take in pro wrestling, which also doesn't make sense because he's the one who originally said, "I picked AEW for the lighter schedule." It'd be one thing if Will had said, "I made the best choice for myself and my family, " left it at that, and then the other side takes a shot and says, "Well he didn't want the grind." If that had happened, Will's promo here would have made sense. But when Will himself says, "I didn't want the grind, " the other side just acknowledges that he said that, and then Will complains about it? That makes no sense. I want AEW to succeed so badly, but when they (and by "they" I mean TK, to be clear) just constantly prove that the other side lives rent-free in their heads, when they're actually dedicating TV time to respond to stuff that happened on the other side when that time could be used for, y'know, WRESTLING, it's just sad. Mercedes talked again, which is the thing she's worst at, and they continue to prove each and every week that their rankings system is useless considering she gets a title shot in her very first match after having been in the company for 2+ months without wrestling. I love watching Copeland in action so it doesn't matter to me that the match may have been unnecessarily long and gotten sluggish, it was still a good match. Am I imagining things or did Ogogo do literally nothing in the 6-man tag? After technically being legal for the first few seconds after the bell rang before tagging out, I don't remember him ever getting in the match again, which is strange. The match was fine though, and I've been a Shane Taylor fan for close to 8 years now so it's great to see him getting some recognition. May-Jay was your standard decent Dynamite women's match, which set up the debut of someone nobody there live seemed to know. Maybe put someone's name on the tron when you debut them, boss? Round 2 of Rhodes vs. Samoan named Joe was perfectly fine. After the Swerve attack that opened the show, I actually thought they might have Swerve cost Joe this match to get Dustin a win and a title shot, but they went with Joe heeling his way to a win, which is good too. Overall, I'd give a 6/10 to the wrestling on this show and a massive 0/10 to everything non-wrestling on this show. Since the footage was such a big selling point only to end up being a complete nothing-burger and potentially detrimental to AEW, it's a final 2/10 from me."

[2.0] "Others will talk at length about the hot topic segment that AEW decided to air here. All I'll really say about it is that the promos surrounding it were good, but it also encapsulates my issues with AEW as a whole right now. AEW was recently on a roll with back to back huge debuts of some of the best wrestlers in the world after a hot PPV that saw the extremely emotional retirement of one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. Then the owner couldn't keep his mouth shut and his ego in check and now they're back to being the same laughing stock they were last year. That segment and the sour taste it left in my mouth are obviously my reasons for leaving a low rating, but the rest of the show as a whole was just mediocre, which made my disdain for this episode all that much worse. [MOTN: Adam Copeland vs. Penta El Zero Miedo]"

[2.0] "In this world there are two types of persons: Chris Hero(s) who are intense and worried and Malakai Black(s) who mind their own business and don't give a damn, be chill about it. I'll be a Hero today. Not that I sincerely think this destroyed or would destroy AEW (that's at least not going to happen in one day) but this is a bad pattern of behaviour that would cost them a lot long term. Just focus on your ratings and keep your WB/TNT tv deal huh? This is a type of TV that could have been honored with a 0 for various reasons but AEW have still some credits left in me. I wouldn't be so entitled to call myself an AEW mark but I really do prioritize their shows over anything (unless it's a WM weekend whatsoever). To me, that footage came out of nowhere. I don't think many people watched the last edition of Collision (it was taped due to NBA/NHL playoffs and then you know, a busy weekend due to WM XL). I saw the tweets of Waller, Dijak et al's tweets earlier and got confused, later on learned more about one of the absolute most horrific decisions AEW could have ever carry on. MOTN: Mariah vs Jay. Mina kissing Mariah is cheap but fine for what it's worth. I imagine why it would be confusing for the people who's not acquinted with Mina. It was a fine debut nevertheless. The promo between Toni/Rosa/Purazzo was perhaps the only saving grace. I don't mind Dustin wrestling for a title opportunity after Cody's big win, if anything we could say he tries to honour his brother in his way. It was an alright match. Penta and Cope overstayed their welcome a bit but pace started to pick up after a little white from the start. STP went home with an upset and the reintroduction of Ogogo is slightly interesting to say the least (if Keith Lee gets his health back they seriously need to consider making him a heel and run STP alongside Taylor. It'd be interesting to see him in the world title picture against Swerve but this time in reversed roles). Promos were sluggish because they were inevitably too self conscious (even Ospreay did it, yikes but I can rationalize it as PapaH sounded like he was rejected by two of the hottest girl in school and was ruminating about it). The footage (from pirated or legit sources) is being actively copyrighted and destroyed. Talk about a backpedalling. I'd understand if they didn't have a week to bitch about it but they totally did. Jack Perry is not a present force in AEW. They just buried a guy in NJPW. Unbelievable. Schivaone apparently didn't know what was the exact footage meant to be shown and he was objectively embarrassed (probably had some WCW flashbacks in the meantime). Tony Khan, himself, claimed he feared for his life for the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE. You expect a full MMA brawl and Phil casually puts JP in a headlock, smirking during his entrance at All-In and now looks like a complete badass. To be frank, he should have been at the point of his career where he had known better and went to business post-match but at least he worked the match and he was decently honest about the events if not completely. It was brought up by Helwani during a podcast and didn't eat up the rival's TV time. So, what's next? Taking shots at the podcaster? CM Punk chants echoed throughout the segment and even the night. He got over again in the company (after 10 MONTHS) he does not exist anymore. JP earned nothing from this as well as the YB. In kayfabe, neither of the teams needed that. Even your pre (og) talent (which is Spears) is mocking you online. Drew is ironically the only winner there and he didn't even try. You confuse the people who didn't follow this and embarrass the ones who did. We can't mention the rival here but they live rent-free in AEW's mind. The company you want to root for is the one who actively opens the gates that allows for tribalism. What a sick joke that is. TBS/TNT picked it up for sports aspect and my darling AEW barely had wrestling compared to promos today and those promos achieved nothing for Dynasty. In 2018 they were having backyard fun with bunch of indie wrestlers, 6 years later they can't move on without Punk even if indirectly. All this happens following the competition's best week ever in the recent years. Terrible look and seriously: fuck off. I am glad it received backlash and the promo being disliked to hell meanwhile all conscious fans mock the segment, bringing up valid points. This is how you move on and thrive, you cannot clash with your own consumer base. I'll be looking forward Dynasty but I don't know man, this sucked a lot of hype out of me. How could I possibly give a high score with a clear conscience? Cagematch essentially allows us to reflect our own experience and mine was inadequate (toned down version), I couldn't care less about the technicality this night (and well yeah it was a weak show all around anyway, as much as filler compared the past Collision and it's inexcusable). This went on way too long probably the longest review I put here ever but I am genuinely heartbroken and decided to be mad about it. AEW acts like a toxic ex and nobody should allow them to suck out the enjoyment while we try to move forward. Not everything does need to have a closure and even if they did, this ain't it."

[2.0] "Were they dedicated to producing the worst Dynamite episode possible? Putting over your rival company's 2nd-best babyface and then following it up with that Ospreay promo reminds me of the Billionaire Ted skits WWF had during the genesis of the Monday Night Wars (which didn't do any favours for them). The opener feels like a remedy for insomnia barring some moves Copeland pulled out. Why is Chris Jericho still on television? Honestly, thank goodness for this main event as this felt like a prize for sitting through almost 2 hours of an underwhelming pro-wrestling show."

[2.0] "It felt like the entire show was built up to show a video that was going to shock the world but instead was a damp squib that only confirmed what was said in interviews before. Over the show its self was average at best but let down by all the focus being on former talent and not the current roster."

[2.0] "If you take out the footage. The only thing really carrying Dynamite this week. This episode of Dynamite was a whole bunch of nothing. Tony, Punk doesnt work for you anymore. Its time to move on and stop acting like a child. Its hard to believe he devoted tv time for something that happened months ago. Cry me a river TK."

[2.0] "Oh my God, that was SO bad... The entire segment with Punk and Perry's tape was used as a ratings bait that completely destroyed the company's credibility. The Young Bucks' entire promo sounded like an excuse from crybabies. The only thing that saved this segment a little was the FTR's part, but even they had to work around the idiocy of what the Young Bucks delivered, so they did the best they could. But even leaving out that whole embarrassing part - almost all of the wrestling on a show that bills itself as "good wrestling matches show" - was boring. Edge tried to show a sub-lucha style that was unusual for him and fought for 20 minutes for the secondary title. Perhaps the most terrible and ridiculous promo segment from Jericho that I have ever seen in my life. Mercedes Mone, who has become the biggest and most expensive woman in wrestling, announced that she wants a secondary women's title that no one cares about... literally the only thing I really liked about this show was the short promo by Will Ospreay, and I don't understand why was he allowed to enter the arena as a random passer-by jogging when he should be their big babyface star."

[2.0] "It's time for TK to pass the book to someone else. I mean, it's been time for a while but now it's *really* time. All of the All-In stuff was just so petty and bush league. What exactly were they hoping to accomplish with that footage? All they did was prove Punk right. And the meta FTR promo was just... why? Why is Tony Khan so fucking goddamn obsessed with the dirt sheets and social media nonsense? Just book your fucking live-action TEW game and *leave the shit alone*. The Ospreay promo was just as bad, reacting to Triple H (checks notes) repeating something Ospreay said first himself. The tired old "you're just BANGING THE BOSS'S DAUGHTER" chestnut should be made a felony. You're the best wrestler in the world, bruv. You should be above this petty crap. It all just reeks of WCW 2000, and coincidentally Tony "Butts in Seats" Schiavone is here for it again; his reaction after the All In stuff is equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking. As for the rest of the show? Meh? Cope vs Penta was pretty good, while the Lionhook stuff is already boring and uninteresting. I mean does anyone give a shit about Chris Jericho anymore? Also this is Ogogo's first match on AEW in 3 years and they have Shane Taylor be the guy to knock out Shibata with a right hook? Like, y'all, that's a fucking layup. Are you trying to get Ogogo over or not? Okada had an enjoyable squash and his match with PAC will undoubtedly slap. Unfortunately they're now also tied up with this Tony Khan vs CM Punk feud tough. All the women's stuff was back to back to back, which felt awkward. AEW once again falls into their old trope of "here's some random wrestler who has zero exposure on American television, now they're super important because they were a big deal somewhere else and Tony Khan likes them", only this time now there's some HLA. Mercedes Mone is about as interesting as a lecture on 13th-century agrarian economies. I genuinely don't understand how they've dropped the ball on her so hard. And it's still gonna be an entire month before her first match. Main event was a match. Cody finished his story so now Dustin needs to get his shot, except nobody on Earth or any other planet expected him to win and of course he didn't. Swerve vs Joe is progressing nicely and Swerve absolutely needs to win at Dynasty. Hopefully TK makes the right decision. Unfortunately that's not exactly been the norm recently."

[2.0] "Is this worthy of being dubbed the worst Nitro ever in 2000? Honestly not really but I see why people hate this show. Firstly, they made Jeff Jarrett, THE WORLD CHAMPION, lose CLEANLY in two minutes and they made look like a complete joke as well after the match. Then you have Russo appearing to have super human leg strength to avoid tapping out to a Figure Four (as RawIsJericho mentioned, it lasted 70 seconds). And then you have whatever that main event was which still baffles me. And all of this was to build up to The Great American Bash that took place six days later? The only match I liked was Steiner vs Vampiro and I don't know why"

[2.0] "This was so damn bad, wow. Of course the whole CM Punk segment is what people are gonna talk about for WEEKS, but yeah, the whole show was bad. TK should have had at least one 5* dream match that he knows when to put on the show sometimes (a Danielson or Ospreay match could have done the job. A single (and bad) women's match, bad women segments (the whole mercedes thing looks a lot like they have no creative for her, how is that possible she's top5 best women wrestler on the damn planet ! ) The Jericho match was an instant 1 for me, no story, Jericho looks so bad, Hook looked uninterested, Shibata looked weaker than usual and Shane Taylor Promotions looked out of place. A whole show without BCC felt long and tbh quite uninteresting, Okada's match was pointless, Copeland looked kinda weaker than usual too ! He deserved a better opponent. And Joe's reign isn't my cup of tea AT ALL... Yeah the whole show was bad. I know Dynasty is about to be one of their best ever but yeah, this was sad."

[2.0] "Absolute joke of a show that was incredibly entertaining to laugh at. Not only did you centre the enter show around a guy that is in a different company, but he hasn't been here in 8 months. They showed footage, that CM Punk already admitted to, and was 100% correct on, that the Young Bucks weren't even involved in. They tried to spin some dumb angle into this, that also just makes the Young Bucks look even more like goofs, when I didn't know that was possible. The rest of the show wasn't any better, you have the legend Katsuyori Shibata doing some ai generated translator gimmick, which was actually the only entertaining part of the show but he also ate the pin in a team with a 50+ year old and a guy who has had the same gimmick for years and says one sentence. This should open your eyes to what you're doing with your product. Will Ospreay cut a lame "shoot" promo on HHH for some reason, and everyone was assuming HHH was taking shots at him, but if the shoe fits, I guess. Jericho being absolutely insufferable and egocentric when he hasn't had a good match in years at this point. The Young Bucks getting CM Punk chants during their confrontation. A 55 year old getting a title conteder's match. Just what has happened to AEW? P.S. Every single match here fucking sucked. So much for the company that puts on "bangers" every week. Glad the Women's division is the most entertaining thing on AEW now. Good for them."

[2.0] "Very poorly booked episode of Dynamite. Starting with Swerve attacking Samoa Joe. Threatening to take away Dustin's match. How does that make Swerve a face? The obviously bad All In footage. So much has been said about that, but it was embarrassing for the company. The Will Ospreay line about triple H felt out of place. Petty stuff that worked in the attitude area, but now makes the company look small when they continue to lose the wrestling war and focus on a guy who hasn't worked for them for 8 months. The ending angle with Swerve and Joe was good. The Penta vs. Copeland match had some highlights, but this particular show is over shadowed by the negatives. It felt like for the first time that AEW was really headed in the wrong direction."

[2.0] "New worst AEW content of 2024. Matches were alright, finish STP vs LionHOOK and Shibata the only major gripe (Lee Moriarty getting a huge pinfall victory was nice, however). Punk footage stuff was, very dumb. A fun watch, but immensely stupid. Ospreay having a typical 'I AM VERY GOOD AND VERY LOUD' promo didn't help either. But aside from all that, it really felt like nothing happened. Like 2 hours just breezed by with next to no actual development for anyone apart from, of all people Lee Moriarty."

[2.0] "Don't watch much Dynamite but watched mostly during to the Mina cameo. Thought the matches were mid at best, but there is a blind spot here in how AEW presents itself and how it thinks it presents itself. The backstage footage was pathetic, not one of the worst things ever as some will tell you, but a classic mistake of a booker not realising who or what gets over. Using TV time to have digs at the other side never works, even if it feels justified. To be honest I don't get the hype with this org at all"

[2.0] "Y'all are being way too generous about this show. The women's match (which had the objectively wrong winner) was the only good match on this show, Zack Ryder winning was the only positive moment on the show even if it made zero sense, and the entire show was built around no babyfaces winning so that people would be happier about Roman winning the main event which backfired hard because everyone was very unhappy that Roman won the main event. Toss in an abhorrent Lesnar/Ambrose match and keeping the entire Wyatt Family off the card so that The Rock could clown them and you get easily the worst WrestleMania of the 30s."

[2.0] "Terrible episode of Dynamite, and only for the footage, using tv time to talk about a wrestler that hasn't been in you company for 8 months, a promo mentioning the booker from the other company, having a Jericho match in 2024, that terrible segment with Mercedes, putting a Rhodes vs a Samoan in the main event felt so TNA, the only positive here thing was the opening match and the Joe vs Swerve feud. When the major talking point is about a wrestler from another company and a kiss you know you booked one bad show"

[2.0] "Airing the footage was not needed. AEW have had a fantastic 2024 so far, and have been producing the best matches on a weekly basis. Showing this footage has just re-opened events that happened 7/8 months ago that did not need to be opened. I understand they did this segment to add heat to the FTR/Bucks match, but I believe the footage was not needed to do that. It was a response to the claims that Punk made in an act of revenge. However, all it achieved was proving Punk right and confirm the already written reports on what happened. Also feel sorry for Hook, who seems to be dragged down into the Jericho vortex. Hook was red hot a couple of months ago when he was feuding with Joe, however the heat has been taken off him significantly for a storyline with Jericho that honestly does not need to happen."

[2.0] "Airing the footage was embarrasing, as was osprey's promo. He should focus on continuing to put on 5* classic instead of responding to small comments by the A company. Joe was great, as was the tnt title match. it also annoyed me when osprey did his promo with his back to the crowd, either do it in the ring or towards the crowd, it looks ridiculous"

[2.0] "Very bad filler episode of Raw. None of the matches here are any good and it's just a badly thrown together show with most of the matches filmed in South Africa where there was problems on commentary all night and two dark matches from last weeks Raw all while pretending like it was all happening live! They used the Apartheid flag to represent South Africa instead of the Rainbow Nation one which left a very bad taste in my mouth and Bret Hart's advertised appearance from last week doesn't happen as instead he gets a similar video package where he's now in Kuwait! Bret's great in it to be fair because new heel character is awesome and there is at least a good Stone Cold Steve Austin promo in the second half of the show. Mankind knocking out Vader with the Mandible Claw after their tag match also puts him over very strong going into a PPV match with the Undertaker!"

[2.0] "Could be better. Just an overall yikes episode of Dynamite. Copeland and Penta was decent, but it couldve been shorter. The beginning of the show was alright to make like Dustin ans a threat. Now coming to the worst part, the biggest takeaway under 2 weeks from Dynasty is beef from last year two people that aren't on the PPV or any of their programming. Id get showing the footage if Punk just flat out lied and it made Jack Perry look better, but showing it was a bad look to everyone but Punk. The Bucks dont get the heel heat theyre looking for and it just makes the Bucks and Tony Khan look sad and desperate, and it completely destroys any credibility Jack Perry had in which he actually had bangers like that match against that dinasour. It is under two weeks from a PPV thats featuring WILL OSPREAY VS BRYAN DANIELSON! Youre about to crown your first black world champion. You just debuted Mercedes Mone. Use the time for that!"

[2.0] "Besides the main event Chamber match, the rest of this show is just plain bad. It's weird too, considering that this is the only WWE PPV hosted in Puerto Rico until Backlash 2023. You would think they'd do much better than this, but this is 2005 we're talking about..."

[2.0] "Honestly, the Kenzie Page promo was the best thing on the show. The first tag match was so slow it looked like all four wrestlers were fighting in a sandstorm. Second match was better - Taylor Rising and Miss Starr both have talent, but their match was sloppy in parts and the ending was flat. The main event was boring and included a way too long heat section and a flat finish. Given these Hard Times shows were all shot the same day, they probably should have separated these three matches."

[2.0] "Is the downfall of AEW upon us. I don't think just yet but this episode does not help its cause. As an AEW fan, I feel myself falling less and less in love with the product each day, espiecally when CM Punk, who mind you hasn't been in the company since August of 2023 is the main draw. The fact that we have stars like Ospreay, Okada, Mone and so many more and yet Punk is the one drawing in ratings is not looking good. Then when you see the fact that the boss is tweeting that this is one of the highest viewed episodes of dynamite in a while, it's just upsetting and I feel like they are throwing out what made this company so good at the beginning. Everything on this night was overshadowed, including the great match between Cope and Penta. Still even a week later, what did showing the footage accomplish? I really don't think anything and it was just a ploy for ratings. It looked like the buried Jack Perry and all in all, im very upset and hope that they can redeem themselves because this was almost like a self implosion. People are relating it to the fingerpoke of doom and while I don't think it is like that, its getting very close."

[2.0] "A complete waste of time. In a world where there is literally hours upon hours of accessible wrestling content per week, there is no benefit to churning out an extra hour of passable wrestling featuring mostly cold acts. There is worse wrestling out there but at least some of it is fun."

[2.0] "Un PPV que nunca despegó, nunca levantó, lo único medio bueno fue el combate sin descalificación de Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarret pero de ahí en fuera una perdida de tiempo ver el PPV"

[2.0] "The ultimate indie wet dream. There are two good matches on this show and still they're not the most exciting things you'll see. The opener is meh with none of the guys selling effects of anything, 6-Man Tag was one of the worst things on the show with Kingston outdoing himself when it comes to making people ashamed of watching wrestling and Willow vs Julia had Hart dominate a woman twice her size. Strong vs O'Reilly was one of the better things on this PPV, Jericho vs Hook was a comical disaster and Storm vs Rosa positively surprised with the contender especially impressing. Ospreay vs Danielson will be the talk of the year for every mark who doesn't care about psychology and making things special because movesets are more important to them, Bucks vs FTR was a horrible spotfest with Bald and Glock losing the remains of respect I had for them and the main event was underwhelming, although still it was nice to see Swerve finally get the big one. Another awfully booked, badly structured card with random, cold matches and I can't say I was expecting something else."

[3.0] "Two cage matches on one show dont make sense to me but then again I'm not a booker so what do I know? The HHH/Orton feud should be so much better than it is, but it means nothing sadly. The 8-man was cool at least and Trish/Nidia was a solid sprint, the other matches didn't do anything for me though. Pretty nothing go home show"

[3.0] "As a Kickoff match was okay, but this match really just came out of nowhere, I think I just got the new this match was going to happen 2 days before Elimination Chamber, so a match and Title defense that was kinda just, a Showcase match for Indi Hartwell to perform In front of her country and done, so a 3/10 it's okay, because it was a match totally predictable, and without construction or story behind, a match that was of like last moment to had to the card on yhe Kickoff"
