[6.0] "This one didn't do anything special for me. I think the main issue (besides the malfunction at the end) is that none of the pyrotechnics looked like explosions. They were just puffs and flashes of smoke. If this had just been billed as a barbed wire deathmatch, it would have been great. Most of the blame lies with AEW instead of the wrestlers, who really did put themselves through hell with the barbed wire spots, but I can't in good conscious go higher than 6 because of the issues with the production."

[10.0] "This match, the culmination of extensive buildup, was a comedic clash between Kenoh and Kaito. Kenoh resembled a stalker relentlessly pestering Kaito, who desperately tried to shake him off. While it appeared more like a playful scuffle, the actual match showcased both wrestlers' mastery of the craft and their dedication to delivering a compelling narrative for the audience. Both gave it their all, producing a match that rivaled championship bouts in terms of intensity and quality. This storyline is still unfolding, and it's both highly entertaining and eagerly anticipated."

[6.0] "A fun but fine pre-show opening match, this was a good way to heat up the crowd before the main show"

[9.0] "NOAH's unconventional match style. While Ninja and Wolf aren't particularly adept at Hardcore matches, I can confidently say that they did an excellent job incorporating their signature Lucha style into the bout. They showcased a plethora of creativity, such as Wolf's steel chair attack ricocheting off the ropes and hitting himself. A subtle yet entertaining detail indeed!"

[7.0] "A real shame about the way this ended. This was looking like a great match as you would have expected with these two with some excellent mat wrestling, but unfortunately everything that came before was completely overshadowed by the near career ending accident where Owen botches a Piledriver on Austin and ends up breaking his neck. Thankfully Austin does come back from this, but he had to completely change his style and retired early."

[10.0] "With the benefit of hindsight, this was a great booking decision. I like this match better than WM XL just in terms of wrestling. All time match. Great nearfalls, the last 20 minutes smack. It was kinda fun to see Roman get the pin. The finish was perfect ngl. Definitely a 5 star match."

[9.0] "This was a well booked match. The heel/face dynamic was reversed here because Owen Hart was loved in the UK and the natural size vs technique style of the match played to the crowd reactions perfectly! Vader was surprisingly dynamic as a powerhouse style big man and his offense looked very effective where he was weakening Owen with some of the slams in the early part of the match and Owen somehow kicks out of the splash move from the second rope. Owen's technical style won the crowd over even more and although he was criticised for it on commentary he would repeatedly try to body slam Vader and got a huge reaction when he is successful with it after weakening him and he makes his big comeback. It was a very different style of match where you wasn't used to Owen wrestling from below like that because he was heel most of his career, but he was pretty damn good at it. The finish was a bit sudden where Vader wins with the slam and uses Owen's momentum against him, but this was still a really good match overall."

[3.0] "This was a poor match, but considering Mark was actually hurt, they did the best they could to produce something entertaining, so I give them credit. The selling was fine, and they try and make the match have a 'wild' feel with all of the chairs and chair shots. It just really had no substance at all. The finish was definitely abrupt and left a lot to be desired, but again, you have to take circumstances into account. Not a match anyone needs to go out of their way to see, but there are worse matches out there. Especially considering the injury."

[10.0] "This match certainly doesn't hit for me the same way as some of the other matches involving these four have, especially in terms of Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa, due to the slower speed in comparison to something like Kobashi vs. Misawa in 2003. But I can't deny that this is an excellent match in terms of the chemistry and story telling between these four, with some absolutely beautiful spots here. Kobashi trying to protect Misawa from the pummeling of Akira and Toshiaki was great. The work on Kobashi's injured leg was great. A ton of fantastic selling. A fantastic tag team match, just don't expect it to go by fast, that's for sure."

[3.0] "A match that was pretty rough to watch as a Piper fan but it was fun to see him hold up the title at the end. I always thought Kenny's leg drop looked really good and after the match Dusty Rhodes made it seem like he was probably the better choice for being Flair's partner in this situation. 2 stars."

[6.0] "This wasn't bad but it never really kicked into full gear, and there wasn't as much made of the really great chemistry Bishamon have developed over the last year or two."

[5.0] "This match was fine, but it didn't really accomplish what I assume the intended purpose was. Booker wasn't really selling the prior attacks, but the announce team kept talking about how he was hurt from it, so it didn't line up. You'd expect this match to be about Booker selling the injury the entire time as a way to give Cody heat and let him control the match while giving Booker some comeback pops, but Booker controls the early match, and then Cody takes over. It's just a basic match that doesn't play out the way it should. Cody doesn't look particularly strong coming out of this, but it didn't hurt anyone either. A perfectly acceptable match, but not much more than that."

[6.0] "[3.0*] Decent enough match that disappointed me a little bit. It was the only match I watched from the show and I was expecting an absolute banger. I know the match was not bad and they picked things up a little bit on the ending stretch, but I was expecting more, ngl."

[9.0] "[4.5*] The best match of the week in my opinion, better than Naito vs Moxley, despite being less meaningful to me. People often put puroresu on an in-ring box, but this match had a lot of more important things than that. First of all, this is one of the biggest and best feuds in NOAH history, so the match had a shit ton of storytelling, drama, emotion, hidden messages and psychology, so much more than a spotfest or a nearfall fest, so the major thing about this bout was the story between then and Kenoh wanting Kaito to beat the shit out of him and prove that he is the next Ace, and that is what Kaito did. He started off in full intensity and almost won on the first minute with the Shining Wizard, and then kept control for a lot ot time. Kenoh regained control afterwards with all his experience and work outside of the ring, but at the end the hunger of Kaito was enough for him to pull it off. Phenomenal match."

[2.0] "I'm not completely blaming the talent for this because they clearly did not know how to work a triple threat match, but this match was a disaster to watch with the crowd absolutely hating it and doing whatever the hell they wanted. It's badly structured, some of the spots was just random and they go for pinfalls when the the third guy is standing right there. There's no flow or heat to the match whatsoever! There was an angle where Shawn Michaels and HHH take out Bulldog before the match, but would it not have made a lot more sense for it to happen DURING the match so we could actually have had a match with three guys connected to each other instead of just randomly inserting Savio Vega!"

[7.0] "The final suplex looked a little loose somehow, but pretty much all of the rest of this lived up to expectations. Good confidence from Fujita."

[9.0] "Great fast paced action, Manami just keep hitting Chikayo and driving her down, a great post ajw Manami match"

[4.0] "It's nothing offensively bad, but it's not been good watching LOD in a long winded feud with The Godwinns like this. It plays out like your standard tag match where the Godwinns cut off the ring and LOD wins quickly with the hot tag. The crowd was obviously strong for LOD."

[5.0] "Both of these guys are underrated, but this match was not as good as I'd hoped because The Patriot was clearly affected by the crowd booing him because of the pro-US gimmick and it showed in his performance. Some of Flash's offense was good and the match does pick up as it goes along but the match suffers because it is heatless with characters fans aren't invested in. It might have been a different story if The Patriot had embraced the heel reactions more."

[8.0] "I always thought Amazing Red was Rey Mysterio-lite. A.J. Styles was and is excellent to this day. This match was a ton of fun to watch. I certainly expect Amazing Red to be the winner of the match at all. Great match."

[8.0] "Really good match between two legends, Mariko submission game is very strong and Manami does a great job countering"

[6.0] "I don't remember this Divine Storm tag team until I started with TNA at the very beginning. I don't like them, but America's Most Wanted is excellent. This match was fun and is probably Divine Storm's best showing to date."

[10.0] "This match was fucking awesome. Were there a lot of spots? Sure. But, this match was very well executed and it showcased the talents of all three men. The ridiculous strength of Oba Femi, the versatility of Josh Briggs and Dijaks well, Dijak just rules in general. This was so much fun and the camera work to hide some of the near falls made this even better. Match of the night, and one of the matches of the year."

[4.0] "Technically, a fine match. I'm a big fan of Kid Kash, despite him never reaching the heights he could have, but I was over the Flying Elvis gimmick the minute it debuted and couldn't care less about Jose Estrada. There seemed to be a lack of cooperation between the two, which resulted in a clunky match."

[3.0] "The match does pick up for me when it gets to a normal tag match between Owen and Bulldog vs The Head Bangers and the other teams are eliminated and there's some decent work there. The crowd was hot for the ending when Austin screws Owen over. The match was very poor before the eliminations with hardly anything happening at all and having LOD eliminated first by DQ wasn't the most exciting thing in the world and really killed the crowd until the final moments."

[6.0] "I remember Mamaluke as a manager from the dying days of WCW. Jason Cross, I don't know anything about and the crowd didn't either, so they could have cared less about this match. The match was amateurish, but Jason Cross showed a lot of promise despite that."

[4.0] "Nothing special and somewhat clunky. The finish was sold well after outside interference which works well with Lita's heel character at this time. 2.5 stars at best."

[7.0] "A good match that was a good amount of fun with finish that made sense given the stipulation. The RKO on the chair for the finish looked really good and Bischoff screwing them over was a good way to have DX take the loss while still making them look strong. Solid 3.5 stars."

[5.0] "This one didn't do anything for me. Really weird pacing, and a lot of the action looked really slow. I wasn't interested in the challenger tournament, and I think they could have done a lot more to build Ryo Mizunami as a legitimate contender, but I thought her character didn't really fit with how serious Shida is."

[5.0] "This one felt like Unagi saw the Aja Kong vs Dash match and made a call. Just go watch that one instead."

[5.0] "It didn't really play to their strengths like the crazy Wrestlemania street fight did, but the crowd was still hot for LOD and Ahmed and it's a decent storyline match where this was the end of the Nation of Domination for their first iteration where Crush and Savio Vega leave Faarooq to fend for himself as he is taken out with the Pearl River plunge."

[6.0] "Pretty heated storyline with this where the Godwinns turned heel seeking revenge on LOD for breaking Henry's neck. While it wasn't the best kind of match to watch from the technical side of things, I did like the in ring psychology with this with all of the offense from both teams targeting the neck are. LOD fight fire with fire with that controversial finish where they beat Henry with the spike piledriver."

[6.0] "A lot better than I expected. The crowd reactions was great for The Head Bangers though and the match is structured in a way that plays to it where the Boricuas do a good job in cutting the ring off and getting heat stuff in on Thrasher and fooled the referee multiple times before you get the hot tag with Miguel Perez ultimately costing the Boricuas the match."

[8.0] "A truly fantastic main event. Sami's entrance made it very obvious he was winning, but as the match went on, I found myself actually thinking Gable could pull it off. These 2 obviously have a lot of chemistry, and I think a the turn at the end made it even better, Hopefully this means Gable will finally get a title win. Give these two a long match on a PLE and they might be able to have a MOTY candidate."

[6.0] "A nice short pre-show match. Both of them are doing crisp moves and Goto's submissions look quite good."

[] "This was not a match. This was a felony. Unbelievable and inexcusable that they didn't put a stop to this at the very beginning..."

[6.0] "This was actually pretty great which I was not expecting based on my knowledge of both guys through their TNA work. A match that clearly meant a lot to them, they both worked really hard and the rewards were pretty good. Douglas was really great at controlling the pace of the match, but Stevens was the star of the show here. He got juice early which always helps, but his selling performance was superb overall and the crowd certainly bought into it. Considering the cage wasn't the most stable his moonsault attempt off of the top of it was nuts, and the bounce wen he hit the mat made it look even better. Whilst far from the best match you will ever see this was a clear example of two guys working hard and getting the most out of a simple story by telling it in the most effective way possible."

[5.0] "Not the biggest fan of this match, which bums me out because I really wanted to like it. The start of the match is kind of slow, features some ok mat work as well. They move to the outside and start brawling which I think was really good and the table spot was great. The rest of the match is also ok.aside. I wasn't a fan of the whole slap sequence at first but I really did like each of their performances here and it really felt like they were trying to put one another down. The problem with the rest of the match to me is that it sort of ends kind of predictably, I would have liked a kickout from Giluila and then Tam pulling something out to put her down."

[7.0] "Quite good MMA style match up. Barnett is very snappy with everything he does. There ends up being quite a lot of variation between submissions, strikes and submissions."

[7.0] "Not as strong as other Hunter vs Foley matches, but it's still a pretty good match and the hot crowd reactions they got was great. It's a good even, back and forth contest with Chyna again paying dividends for Hunter at ringside where she would nail Foley with a powerslam on the floor with ease and was also crucial where she put Hunters leg on the bottom rope for a near fall just before the finish. There's a good pay off to Dude Love losing this match on Raw the following night. Hunter was looking more and more like a future main event star whenever he wrestled Foley."

[8.0] "Great match, very fast paced, everyone played their roles well, the Heavyweights looked strong and the juniors kept the pace up and sold very well."

[5.0] "While I generally enjoy Starlight Kid I'm not as high on HANAKO. The contrast in sizes made for a couple of interesting spots but rather than really pushing things I found SLK was slowing down and not really hitting the usual register she works within."

[7.0] "A struggle where each wrestler has to fight for the openings. Felt slightly more "realistic" than your average sports entertaining match. Explosive ending."

[7.0] "I hated this match, because it risked to destroy Ambrose's reputation after the end of the Shield, but it's a good conclusion of a feud with Bray that had nothing to tell even since Hell in a Cell 2014. (7/10)"

[8.0] "An absolutely wonderful TLC Match, and another demonstration of the fact that Dean Ambrose performes better as Title Chaser than as Title Champion. AJ Styles, as usual, made a majestic performance, and confirmed himself as the Super Star Of The Year in WWE in 2016. (8.5/10)"

[1.0] "This is a match with a concept so inherently flawed that it couldn't be anything other than bad, which is exactly what we get in execution. It reminds me a bit of the hardcore version of a casket match, in that the goal of the match is so one dimensional it makes everything that happens feel so irrelevant because there's really only one way to get a conclusion, satisfying or otherwise. There have been spots in other deathmathches where someone lands on tacks barefoot and it's usually a pretty cool spot, due to the shocking visual, but building an entire match around it is such a poorly thought out idea it baffles me how no one thought to stop it. The match starts with both guys carefully pacing around some tacks, moving slowly an gingerly and having a bad match as a result. This then continues for the entirety of the match except worse as both guys find it harder and harder to actually move. By the end both guys are constanltly walking on tacks and having to essentially no sell them in order to actually get to the finish. The worst part of this however, is the fact that the biggest spot of the match is a syringe to the throat rather than the feet, rendering the whole concept meaningless as well as boring which is some feat. To top off this lunacy, the match ends with a double foot stomp, which manages to be as illogical as it is underwhelming."

[8.0] "classy stuff from two good wrestlers, not perfect but at times surprisingly fast moving. Bockwinkel was a tremendous wrestler."

[5.0] "Something clearly lacking here, but not entirely sure what. Eaver was a favourite to win but was not giving off the kind of energy that was becoming of an underdog, myabe in part to the fact that he doesn't have many moments of true vulnerability during Moser's heat segments. I'm not too sure about that, but i am sure that i enjoyed the middle of this match with The Pastor busting out a load of randomly assorted bombs and the crowd irritatingly whistling Moser's theme tune. [3]"

[6.0] "In general it was a regular multi man match. We got to see Okada play the hits one last time in a New Japan ring, and for that it's worth watching."

[8.0] "great match, everyone was able to shine. nice pace and some awesome spots. This multi woman tag team are always nice to see."

[4.0] "Not a very good main event. Hart and Bulldog are good and it's interesting that in commentary they point out that they're not as well drilled as a team where they fail to cut off the Head Bangers making a tag etc. Head Bangers are weak Tag Team Champions especially compared to the other teams that held the gold that year and it showed. The finish was just lame where the match was restarted when Bulldog pins the wrong Head Banger and then just gets DQ'd immediately afterwards."

[6.0] "I think the Orange fatigue is finally setting in for me. I generally enjoy his matches and Reynolds is a good wrestler, but this was just kinda fine."

[8.0] "This main event starts in a good way already before the beginning, thanks to Sami Zayn's entrance, wonderful. Gable is an amazing athlete, he really is a wrestling machine and it's just a matter of time before he gets this championship. This is an other great match he is a part of, that's not a case. I really appreciated all the techincal phases, like the infinite exchange of grapples at the center of the ring. Gable took a tremendous bump after a German Suplex on the neck, it added more intensity at the match. Nice idea the focus on the left leg of Sami to connect the Ankle Lock, and at the same time loved Sami who struggles and hits his Helluva with that very injured leg. Chad's heel turn was good planned, as it was a shocking moment that destroyed Sami celebration in his own city, Montreal. Can't wait to see Gable on top."

[6.0] "Pete gets a lot of time to heel it up and batter Jack, to which Jack gets a little time to display how much of a fan favourite he is. I think that Pete's extended heat segment was a touch on the dry side but the finishing stretch laid to rest any qualms i had with those pieces of the contest. [3.25]"

[5.0] "I enjoyed this comedy match for what it was. Highlights were the matching outfits, trying and failing to flip Miyazaki, Hirota's failed dive and moonsault, Hibiscus Mii singing...there was a lot to smile about here. Even just the moment of them all sitting on the top rope together chatting was great. I love the pairing of Mashiro and Yoneyama."

[5.0] "If this had ended immediately after the barricade spot I would have had this a lot higher, but the match grinds to a complete halt after it and never picks up again. The opening 10 minutes are blistering, the infamous pizza cutter spot being the highlight, and there is a real sense of jeopardy around Moxley's title reign as he seems helpless to stop the violent path of destruction that Gage walks. The barricade spot is the crescendo as both guys take a sickening thud which probably should have been the finish, but for some reason we get another long time of Gage on offense, except this time with none of the same energy as before, and the match just has all the life sucked out of it. This period can basically be summed up by the excruciatingly long time it takes for them to set up a barbed wire board on a table, as they take what feels like a lifetime to work out that the board is too big to fit on the two chairs they wanted to place it across. The match also ends weirdly, as Gage kicks out of a brutal looking suplex through said contraption, only to immediately be pinned by a much weaker looking Hook & Ladder on a chair. A decent watch that could (and should) have been much better."

[9.0] "I would say this match starts off hot, then slows down for a bit, and then accelerates a lot in the last 10 or so minutes. Marufuji definitely got in more of the offense, and it was interesting to see how the crowd was seemingly behind both. But as someone who's not very familiar with Kento or AJPW in general, this was a highly entertaining match."

[7.0] "Normal contest, Andrade and Dom made a good impression. 6, but I raise to 7 for the Canadian Destroyer of Dom on the apron ring."

[8.0] "These two have great chemistry. The story of Kenoh pushing Kaito to his limit to bring the best out of him was great"

[7.0] "Nice TV match, exactly what you would expect from these two. While not their best, it's still a fun watch."

[6.0] "Ashley's flip elimination was pretty impressive considering it was her... sixth match? Also, the Mickie/Victoria elimination was good."

[7.0] "Good match. One of the best dominant heels in wrestling today takes on one of the best lovable underdog babyfaces in wrestling today, it's the perfect mesh of archetypes and styles and the entire story around the match(Gable, Sami's wife, etc) plays into the dynamic and enhances it. The match itself is very good, but I feel like there's a chunk missing. The match follows a very standard formula, which is a good thing because it works, with Sami getting an initial flurry, Gunter getting the cutoff and heat on Sami, some hope spots by Zayn before Gunter takes control again and starts punishing the babyface, leading to the commentators wondering if the match should be stopped. All of this is great and executed very well, but then the comeback just happens. Sami fires up, hits three moves and wins. I feel like this is missing a good 5 minutes were Sami slowly claws his way back into the match, and Gunther smacks him down a couple more times until the big climatic finish. Still very good, but it falls short of 'great' territory"

[6.0] "I feel the same way with this match as I do towards their other also highly acclaimed Wrestlemania match, and that is that its a solid match but nothing too special. I consider this one slightly worse as it suffers from the sin of having pretty predictable ladder spots."

[8.0] "Flair's blade job was absolutely class and his frantic panic screams were a real highlight. One of the best WWE gimmick matches from 2005."

[8.0] "I was so pleased with this match's progression. Sabre drops Flash on his neck with a lovely bump from the middle rope, after which Flash is put in a series of quick holds, emphasising the exposed weak point, but then Flash hits a babyface comeback where he nails a trio of topes to the floor. Here's what rose me from my 10PM haze though. After he twists too hard on a Standing Moonsault, countered by ZSJ into a Triangle Choke, Flash doesn't recover or unearth some energy from nowhere after having his neck worked over. He is softly overwhelmed but stays determined in the face of Sabre's ruthless tactfulness. The way Flash slowly and unsteadily goes through his offence is a major facet of what i liked about the match, aside from his speed and dynamic flips i found his diminished movement so captivating. Sabre honed in on the neck, got him to slow down and won with an immediate Referee's Decision. He demolished him! I also love that this match had a justified "Chain Wrestling Sequence Followed By Crowd Applause" opening. I love it when those are actually granted with purpose, this match being a qualifier for a WWE tournament. Incredible performances from each man. [4]"

[3.0] "Sheamus has still got it and also got his old theme back instead of a Def Rebel monstrosity. Other than that, this match is pretty unremarkable, I didn't care for Ivar after this match and the commercial breaks didn't help either. I would have probably preferred him to fight someone else or at least have a fully fleshed out match, but its not that damaging to Sheamus."

[8.0] "Very good match for the Intercontinental Championship. Sami gives Gable a title shot as a reward for helping him prepare for Gunther. Worth noting here is Sami's entrance, which was done in a long take where he came from outside the building and walked in through the crowd. It was awesome. As for the match, it was two great in-ring workers just going out there and doing their thing. Gable was more aggressive here than he usually is, knowing he might not get another chance. Gable targeted Sami's knee, who did a good job selling it to make his inevitable comeback victory more meaningful. Sami's wife being in the front row was a clue that something was going to happen. Sami was celebrating the win with her when Gable came up from behind and proceeded to attack him. It's a logical heel turn with plenty of story behind it. 8/10"

[7.0] "This match, the debut of the Villanos as a team in WCW, is much better than the action typical of Nitro in this time period."

[7.0] "Weird, I liked this one. Krule is a fun character and Warhorse's gimmick change was really needed. He took a great beating through all this. While the angle bookending the match was unnecessary I don't think it took away from the simple, effective action."

[8.0] "This was some really good stuff. Always knew these 2 would absolutely hoop in a match together and they delivered here. The match is mostly built around Chad targeting Sami's leg, which leads to a couple of great moments of selling from Sami and some very tense submission spots throughout the match. Sami's selling here was absolutely world class as it usually is, always favouring his leg on the smallest of things that add so much depth to this match. Whether it be running the ropes or transitioning into a waistlock, Sami is constantly selling his leg and it constantly allows Gable to take control of the match and get offense in. Gable here was great too. His leg work had a ton of viciousness to it, his performance here almost planting the seeds for his eventual heel turn after the match. It also felt like after losing most of his matches after the 3rd Gunther match, it felt like Chad was determined to win here, having counters for most of Sami's moves and even having counters for Sami's counters. He was always one step ahead in this match, but he couldn't overcome the sheer will and determination of Sami which eventually resulted in him losing. The heel turn after the match was also really well done. It's almost like seeing Sami celebrating with his family at ringside, something that he couldn't do after losing Gunther or at Wrestlemania after losing the gauntlet, made something snap inside of Chad resulting in him literally ripping Sami from his wife's arms and nailing him with a German. Overall this was an amazing match as predicted, with a brilliantly done heel turn after the match which pays off months of storytelling that has been done with Chad. ****"

[6.0] "Solid match for Sheamus return that made him still look strong against a heavy opponent. The Knee and Brogue looked nice. Wish there wasnt a commercial halfway through that killed momentum"

[7.0] "After the unveiling of the newly designed WWE World Tag Team Championships, which look great, this triple threat match was arranged to find a number one contender. This was a good, fun TV match. For 10 minutes, they got in a lot of moves and kept things moving along. DIY picked up the win, which makes sense considering they have some history with Miz and R-Truth. 7/10"

[8.0] "Not a perfect match as there are a few botches but these women told a great story. I didn't expect that finish !"

[6.0] "I thought Fujita looked gassed, Jake was lame, and Kitamiya and Marafuji just went on autopilot. Now that that's out of the way... Go had great chemistry with both Oiwa and Wagner; indeed, his sequence with Wagner was so good that I think it should be Wagner's next title match. Unfortunately, it looks like they're going with Jake versus Go. Sugi was good, Oiwa was really good, and Wagner and Go were great."

[4.0] "I don't get why people are rating a completely mediocre 6 minute TV match an 8. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Action was fine, but with this being a 6 minute match with an ad break in the middle, there really wasn't any room to do anything special here. Jey eventually wins with the spear and Judgement Day beat him down after the match. This wasn't terrible, but there was basically nothing interesting going on in this match. **"

[3.0] "Damo takes on Dante, putting the hurt on him with a load of Fit Finlay-like strikes but with a severe lack of oomph and drive in them. This whole match felt very unseasoned, don't sure what had each man holding back in a sense but it was a lot of naught. [2.5]"

[6.0] "Solid TV match. Sheamus makes his return after missing 8 months due to injury. He looked fine here, there's definitely some ring rust to shake off. Ivar put in another good performance. The crowd was into this as well. You got the 10 beats, the White Noise off the second rope and the Brogue Kick as Sheamus picks up a fairly easy win to get him back into the swing of things. 6/10"

[5.0] "Another completely middle of the road match for Andrade here. Andrade is a brilliant wrestler but so far since his return, he hasn't been given the time or the opponent to show off what he can really do. The action here was mostly fine. Andrade did his usual array of moves and Dom hit a very surprising Canadian Destroyer on the apron which was easily the highlight of the match. But overall, there wasn't a lot here. I'm hoping the tag match that got set up after this match will be a lot better. **3/4"

[6.0] "On the verge of being good but this was a bit too messy and the crowd were also pretty cold for this one until the end. Some cool spots from the Creeds and DIY in particular. Loved the moment where the Creeds somehow managed to pin all 4 members of each team at the same time, even if the spot itself was a bit mistimed. The finish was also cool, with Xavier hitting the elbow drop on one of the Creeds only for DIY to immediately hit him with their finish to get the win. Decent spotfest overall, but there were a ton of mistimings and it was pretty hard to keep track of who was even legal. Hoping that DIY win the tag belts next week because Miz and Truth have more than run their course as a team. ***1/4"

[7.0] "This was fairly good. Dinero made a good debut here, although the fact that Raven wasn't paired with an established X-Division star telegraphed the outcome."

[5.0] "This was about as good as it could be. If you want to get something out of an aging Dusty and Vader, the Harris Brothers are not the team to use. The fact that this wasn't actively bad is remarkable."

[6.0] "Solid return match for Sheamus here. This was basic just him playing the hits, with him hitting a top rope white noise near the start, the 10 beats and of course the Brogue Kick to pick up the win. Also cool to see him come out to his old entrance music. Hopefully def rebel doesn't give him some shitty, generic stock music because Written In My Face is genuinely like a top 10 wrestler theme song of all time. Ivar also put in a solid performance here too and made Sheamus look as good as possible. Nothing too special but it's good to see Sheamus back. ***"

[8.0] "I think I initially fell into the trap of trying to compare this to their N1 Match. This match is bloated. It is too long. But that was the point. This is on Shibata/Okada levels of combining length/stiffness, and while this doesn't really come that close to that match, I think they nailed what they were going for. I have no problem with the selling in this match like others do, I thought some of the subtle hints of pain were fantastic, and it felt natural that some of the stuff people claim they "forgot" to sell just went away after 40 minutes. Incredible match, but not one I'll be watching again soon, or one I could recommend over their N1 match. 4 Stars."

[6.0] "This is a fun and funny match. WWE really thrives at putting on shorter (and hilarious) matches where you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Not an amazing match but it elevated the R-Truth and Judgement Day story that has me dying of laughter. 3.25/5"

[7.0] "Good showcase for Ahura, even though his victory would have been a miracle. It was the standard Archer build where he dragged his opponent outside the ring, and gained the heat as always. A good beating before letting the babyface having his nice comeback. Nonetheless, Ahura's overness with the fans gathered here brought a cool atmosphere to the bout. He took his chance to shine, and maybe win the biggest prize, and gave everything he had. Either him or Maggot can go well in singles competitions, and Ahura showed it right here against a talented veteran like Archer."

[8.0] "This one of the most iconic matches for a reason! This is one of those rare moments in wrestling where wrestlers go beyond the boundaries of what a wrestling match can be. So many mind-blowing moments were produced in just one match that will be imprinted in the wrestling history forever. They pushed the boundaries, they fucking killed each other within those 15 minutes, they gave us their all. One of the greatest achievements in wrestling history without a doubt. And for that I'm forever thankful."

[7.0] "This might be Sandman's best wrestling match ever. He can have better performances, but only with the crutch of a lot of weapons. This had weapons, but it was still mostly a wrestling match. It goes to show that AJ really can have a great match with anyone."

[8.0] "No one else could do what Necro does here and pull it off without completely ruining the match. No one else could stand at ringside chucking tables at their opponent and brawling in the crowd whilst their partner gets covered in the ring without even trying to help him. No one else could spend 95% of a match brawling as wildly as possible before trying (and succeeding) to get their opponent to have a gentleman boxing trade off, complete with Ali criss cross steps. Unbelievably fun watch with all the guys playing their part, but the star of the show is undoubtedly Necro and his bafflingly beautiful antics."

[5.0] "Honestly this is the most run of the mill Jay White match imaginable. He got beat up for 50% of it and then had a tight reversal heavy closing segment into his finisher. It's a fine match, but it's a bog standard one and get used to it, because people are pining for it."

[8.0] "Two veterans who displayed a technical wizardry, while they threw some nasty punches to each other. And that was sweet to watch. I thought that Gunns had more experience, but he started in 2012. The escalation from a technical fight to one that would become physical was a really cool and major point of the contest. Sometimes, a bout for honour has a higher stake than one for a championship. Tischer's limbwork was great, he wanted to teach some lessons to Gunns, but the latter showed bigger guts. Gunns and Tischer have a superb and natural chemistry. The wrestling I love, yeah."

[8.0] "I thought this was excellent and one of the best Sandman matches I've seen. Sandman's wrestling style is exactly what it should be here. It's sloppy because he's a drunk, but never so sloppy that it becomes botchy and ruin the illusion. This a fun garbage brawl at first glance, but there is enough bubbling under the surface that stops this from being a nothing brawl where two guys trae weapon shots. There's a good bit of psychology with the garbage can. Cactus ends up hurting his hand on the trash can after using it to beat Sandman into concussion city for the majority of the match. With his glazed over stares and his ability to take a lot of pain, Sandman shows that he is fantastic at being a more traditional brawler and not the simple gimmick worker that most fans see him as. Stick around after the final bell, as we get a great post-match angle and two excellent promos from both men when they get to the back."

[7.0] "This was a very nicely worked Old School slugfest. Zak was getting booed with a headlock and Saraya was working the Sherry Martell manager gimmick exceptionally well. Zak looks like a real bad ass after this match and if he's a Rampage exclusive, I'm in for it. The angle is losey, but the match was good enough that I ain't mad at it."

[6.0] "This was good, but not at the level I expect from a Jerry Lynn match. He and Guerrera just didn't quite click."

[8.0] "Great match. Intensely competitive. These two men put it all on the line in this match. The brutality and viciousness was just incredible."

[5.0] "Strangely, this is Mika Iwata's first title defense since becoming the Sendai Girls' champion 7 months prior. She hasn't been booked particularly strong in the meantime. Here she has finally gets a chance to prove herself against a former champion. VENY dominated from the start and there were a couple of long countout spots where Iwata would make it back to the ring just in time. Didn't feel necessary and once that was over with the match felt like it finally started. It was a perfectly fine back and forth, but nothing really stood out. The last few minutes were pretty good, and when they were about to hit the next level the match just ends. Iwata retains, which is the right move. Overall, this was decent, but disappointing. 5.5/10"

A bit of overbooking but that was only to make Angle's final victory better, a good time and a good match to end this Slammiversary."
