Jacks presentation has been a nice overhaul especially when comparing to where he was in his last couple months in AEW. Some of the crowd seemed behind him while others were against him. Regardless they were reacting. Some nice moves have been added to his arsenal, noticeably the Unprettier. A good performance from Shota especially toward the closing stretch of the match. This run in New Japan run may make a world of difference for Jack long term. 7.5-8"

[4.0] "Nothing wrong here, they're having a professional match, but there's not much you can do with that time and when none of the workers are over. Tazz had absolutely no heat at that point and Al Snow looked like a jobber after leaving his "head gimmick" that was rotten, but at least was over."

[4.0] "Started promising then derailed by the DQ. I think that's fine for the episodic format, but if I would have definitely felt cheated if I saw this in person, Sakuya has a great presence but it's better admired under different circumstances."

[6.0] "Trish and Lita looked a bit lost at times, but it was still very enjoyable. The crowd was hot and even though there were annoying "we want puppies" chants they didn't go for too long. The Hardys' and T&A's work was good, Test was bumping nicely for Lita and they didn't overpower any of the women, but still gave them some nice offense to get a few pops."

[8.0] "Great match that was a perfect way to debut a new star. Sonjay had a great performance and Joe looked fantastic. I'm glad they had a back and forth match and not a one sided squash. Solid 4 star match."

[5.0] "A match with very little action due to the interferences by Legado and The Pride and its short time. The performance by all three men was just plain decent as there wasn't any room for doing more. LA Knight showed some creativity with his crucifix driver, but that kind of moves seem so awkward on a guy his size. Santos felt like he got most of the action during the match, as he was basically involved in every situation, and Bobby, well, he was just there. Truly didn't feel his presence in the match that much as attention went more to the interference than anything (** 3/4)"

[8.0] "A great Tag match on Free tv. Shawns return to the ring since February I wanna say and he hasnt lost a step. Of course it helps that hes matched up against two of the best Owen and davey. Davey and Shawn were awesome here their chemistry was always fantastic. They always got the best out of each other. Owen brought the heel tactics and Austin brought the energy and adrenaline to the match. Brillant tag 4/5"

[7.0] "Katsuhiko Nakajima was the MVP of this tournament. This match was short and sweet. Funaki tries to take Nakajima down with submissions. Then Nakajima fires back with kicks. They exchange some hard slaps and kicks before a simple finish. Good stuff. ***1/4"

[4.0] "This is Bruno's return to the ring and the crowd is electric for it. For tag team matches, this is pretty formulaic, but the emotional weight of Bruno's return overshadows that. The fans are invested in the Sammartinos, and rightfully so, they're facing Bobby Heenan. His antics are entertaining, but Orndorff has to carry the workload of the match. Moreover, the DQ finish is pathetic, I think they should have let Bruno pin Heenan here. 2.00 stars."

[2.0] "Jeff Cobb was a star in New Japan by this time but he could not get something out of COVID-era EVIL. Go away heat, dull-as-nails top work with constant ref bumps and Togo shenanigans that I've become numb to seeing. Just a completely uninteresting match. *1/2"

[9.0] "The action in this was probably a 7 or 8 but that is all elevated by the atmosphere of this match. Coming in the hope was Mox to be the first "forbidden grand slam" champion. The "will they do it" and "no way they put the belt on Mox" was the talk among fans. Naito had only won the title in January so was it too short a run? Nah they didn't care about any of that! They crowned the ACE OF THE WORLD and now the agenda is clear. Mox vs Shooter for WK, after Shota was the G1. This is what we want. It's time for NJPW to create the next generation of leaders in this company and Shota and Tsuji are it. Love this match love the result."

[7.0] "This match had a few things going against it. There wasn't a flaming hot crowd like their G1 28 match and not much of a story being told here. They also didn't up the pace until late in the match. I still dug this one quite a bit though. We had some of the usual Ishii awesomeness of him just bullying SANADA with hard strikes and power moves. SANADA did a very good job here with his smooth attacks and transitions throughout the match. There was intensity in the closing stretch and the finish was exciting. ***1/2"

[8.0] "Really good match. There's so much good chemistry between all four. The post match is building up some matches I am looking forward to. Great match."

[8.0] "This NWA World Heavyweight Title bout delivers everything you'd expect from a Flair main event. Ric Flair and Kerry von Erich battle for a full 60 minutes here. While some might find it slow, I was captivated. Kerry shines, proving once again that he's a worthy challenger to the champion. Too bad about a time limit draw, however. 4.25 stars."

[9.0] "So here's the rematch from their outstanding match in October 2020. It's not quite as great but still an excellent match. I think they subverted the usual big match Okada formula into a quicker more bombastic style of match. Shingo is definitely one of his best opponents in years. ****1/2"

[6.0] "Pretty average match where Team Canada look like the superior wrestlers here. It was cool to see Jimmy Hart come out at the end to help the champions retain but the finish seemed mistimed and somewhat off. Solid 2.5 star match."

[6.0] "Not very memorable but technically solid. KENTA was his usual self around this time. He's got some good character work but seems lifeless most of the time. Juice was really good here. Some nice strikes and exchanges. Loved the DVD on the floor. It definitely dragged and 17 minutes felt too long for this match. ***"

[6.0] "A pretty decent match. Another good performance from O-Khan, mostly due to Naito's fantastic selling and bumping. The knee work by O-Khan was sloppy at times but at least it was consistent. The finish was good for what it was and protected Naito. ***"

Tsubakichi mostly shakes it off for them to go back to dominating with two extra rope escapes being forced by him to Keita before the two get caught up in a fairly tame double toe-hold situation. We did see a modified STF for a couple of seconds so that was cool, I suppose. There's some decent enough movement between the two as Keita tries to break through defences by passing guards but seemingly keeps getting slipped up by his opponent despite sticking on some proper knotty submissions. Thought the finish was cool with Tsub rushing it recklessly and paying for it when Keita isolated and straightened one of his arms for a very nifty modified armbar that forced a quick tapout. Not Keita's best by a long shot, but a enjoyable side-bar that shows off his more grounded side."

[5.0] "This had a few cool moments or periods of good intensity, but for the most part it was really mediocre. Neither of these two does much for me, though I can acknowledge they're both at least usually fine workers capable of putting together fine matches. The first 10 minutes were pretty dull because of how basic all their interactions were, but they then started bringing out some slightly more impressive spots, albeit still having some slight awkwardness with basically all of them. Shida still looks rather unathletic with a lot of her big moves, while Athena can show off some impressive athleticism/physicality at moments but often does so too slowly and without the most convincing impact at the end. Character-wise, Shida is still a completely generic babyface, while Athena continues to be a dorky cartoon villain with her stupidly over-animated facial expressions and cries. Her attempts at "acting" were infuriating, especially with her 'shocked' expressions in response to Shida's 'epic' kick-outs in the 2nd half. Basically none of their big spots once the match got going looked remotely as 'big' as intended, usually having somewhat awkward chemistry in their set-ups or underwhelming impact in the moves themselves, and their strike-trading sequences were always pretty underwhelming, lacking either or both speed and explosiveness. I'd actually say maybe only like 5% of their spots or sequences were actually outright bad (usually some bad signature moves from Shida), but it was just annoying to see them constantly coming up so short relative to what's expected of a World Championship match on a big show. There were also some attempts at a leg-targeting story from Athena on Shida, but neither woman ever focussed on their end of the work enough to make it a significant/worthwhile part of the match, so that was pretty wasteful. The few outright positives thing I can say about this match were that their big spots looked much better in the final 1/4th, and they also had a pretty good pace at the very end with their rapid trades. They still had some very generic finishers, trades, and kick-outs during that period, but in those moments mentioned they at least worked harder. **3/4"

[9.0] "Shingo finally got his Dome singles match and it didn't disappoint. Cobb on the other hand gave the best performance of his career as of January 2021. This match proved that Cobb could hang with the best of them. He looked like a total beast here. This was a fast paced 20-minute hoss fight with both guys throwing big bombs throughout the whole thing. Cobb overpowered Shingo early on and threw him around like nothing, such as that sick belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Shingo had to adapt his style and change his strategy to even the exchanges. He hit some impressive high flying offense and targeted Cobb's knee later on. Cobb's power moves and athletic displays were great. His suplexes variations were amazing and I loved the creativity like his moonsault powerslam. I think this match is slightly overrated at 5 stars but it's not too far off in my opinion. Definitely not far behind Shibata/Goto and Goto/Suzuki when looking at the NEVER title classics at Wrestle Kingdom. ****1/2"

[1.0] "Yeah this is pure nothing. You can tell that they basically had zero credible challengers for HHH's title but that didn't make Steiner feel any more out of place. This was slow, way too long, and simply a snooze fest where nothing interesting happened and an awful finish."

[9.0] "A perfect storm of atmosphere, circumstances, and measured ring work from Jack Perry and Shota Umino. The first half of this match is worked simply with nothing intricate or overtly impressive in terms of technical ability. But what it does have are two wrestlers who understood their environment and played to it. Jack Perry during this match played a perfect heel, playing off of the rabid crowd including a brilliant, seemingly improvised guillotine choke spot. Umino a traditional and effectively executed babyface. The second half is where the actual, traditional in-ring work picks up and both exchange and counter each others move sets. The chemistry created during Road To matches was definitely on display. Ultimately, the entire presentation and match was a great piece of business that allowed two young guys to have a great, heat-filled match and be better off because of it. Great stuff."

[4.0] "Tully Blanchard delivers an impressive performance in the NWA Television Title match against Buzz Tyler. Blanchard's selling and offense are undeniable highlights, and the crowd ate it all up. However, the disqualification finish left me disappointed. 2.25 stars."

[9.0] "This show had many great matches and this was the first of the night. To be as good as AZM is at this at only 21 years old is pretty insane. AZM played the underdog babyface against Stephanie Vaquer who battered and bruised her way throughout this compact 11 minutes. The shorter duration wasnt a hinderance as AZM is tailor made to excel under these circumstances considering her high speed background in Stardom. With Vaquer being the dominant bruiser it was up to AZM to deliver in her comeback spots, and fire ups. She did. Great match from AZM and Vaquer."

[6.0] "Pretty much what you'd except tbh, although I think we definitely could've gotten better from these two. Good enough really"

[10.0] "Tetsuya Naitos best title match during this run was his last. Naito and Moxley played well off of each other like their initial G1 match, with the former testing the latters patience, forcing Mox to make mistakes along the way. Good storytelling in that regard/ match structure. Id go as far to say this match was easily better than their first (which was great in its own right), because of a higher intensity and crowd atmosphere during the final stretch. I think what made this match great and stand out against much of Naitos recent output is the cutting out of unnecessary filler/fluff. The match was consistently intense but it all built to an exceptional final 5 minutes. Those last 5 minutes are what takes this match over the top. Excellent match and MOTN on an great show."

[5.0] "Some impressive athleticism here but lacking in good structure, storytelling, and psychology. Aussie Open do a good job of looking like big bully heels. A few instances of guys just blatantly repositioning themselves for spots. Also why are they doing suspenseful hot tag spots in a match they clearly established is under lucha rules? Just roll out of the ring. After like 10 minutes, the match just starts feeling like one really long version of the NJPW main event finishing sequences where everyone is just trading their biggest bombs for 20 minutes. This would've been like a 7 or 8 for me if it was half as long."

[8.0] "Kevin Owens being Kevin Owens in the lead up to his entrance was hilarious. These three also decided to go out and pull a video game like scripted sequence, this was action from the start and there wasnt any point where things seemed to stop, everything was flowing so well in this match and it was so much fun to watch, 8/10 since there werent really any crazy nearfalls, but it was just a textbook triple threat match done to perfection. Sometimes the basics done well are what make something so damn good."

[6.0] "This is a decent match if a bit awkwardly paced, and a slightly dumb finish, I still dont know what Naomis finisher is and I seriously hope it is not still the rearview because it is dumb. Naomi is very good in the ring and Tiffany, while still green, has taken to the ring quite effortlessly, but I dont like the fact this match ended in a jackknife rollup, still, not a bad match, but its just decent, 6/10. Got nothing else to really complain about here as I have seen far worse, but still, felt slow paced and awkward at times."

[7.0] "This match was a nice way to start off, not a bad match at all, and it does its job of getting L.A. Knight into the #1 contenders match next week. It was a good match that featured one wrestler resting while the other two were hitting each other with moves. Eventually, LDF decided to get involved and attacked both Lashley and Knight, but the Street profits broke that up and we got some faction warfare, Lashley then missed a spear and Knight capitalized by hitting blunt force trauma. Good match, 7/10"

[9.0] "I was in attendance for their first match at Forbidden Door. While it was still a great match, it was a bummer with Bryans injury occurring. So the pressure was already added to the rematch, and they surely made it worth the wait. Bryan in a co-main event for Wrestle Kingdom is already something amazing, and his kicks to Okada were brutal and his work on Okadas arm was terrific. Okada brought some awesome spots in and outside of the ring. And him combining an AA with the Rainmaker was a true thing of beauty. Then the events post match just made it more special than it already was. ****3/4"

[9.0] "Something about Big Hash and Sareee in tag settings, as they've now got two of the twelve matches I have at 4.5 or higher this year (so far). Unlike the Stardom tag though, this is all about Hash and Saree fighting each other, while both their partners are there for quick bursts and pin breakups. Overall a commendable performance from everyone involved, a great crowd, and fantastic action. The hardcam footage is on Sendia Girl's youtube channel for free, so do yourself a favor and check this one out. 4.5 Stars."

[7.0] "As a main event, this was perfectly serviceable. Moxley resorted to his usual tactic of blading to draw intensity and heat into the match, but he did everything else just fine and it didn't really bother me as a "cheap" way to get the match going. Naito stepped up as well, and while he didn't go into the extra gear we usually see him go into for bigger NJPW main events, he did enough here to keep pace with Moxley. The closing stretch is what you would expect from these two, although it wasn't anything special. ****1/4"

[7.0] "This was a lot better than the Tanahashi vs Riddle match a few months ago. You would expect Riddle and ZSJ to be good dance partners. I think these two had better matches, but this felt like a standout match on the card besides the main event and maybe Suzuki vs Narita. The opening few minutes were quite technical, and the closing stretch was pretty smooth in terms of them working through the transitions and setting up a good finish. Matt Riddle just walked off and didn't even bother selling the match, which might mean we won't be seeing him again. ****"

[10.0] "The best overbooking you could ask for. It was a blessing for WWE that their biggest face and heel have such natural chemistry. Everything before the Avengers Assemble moments were all you need for a one on one WrestleMania main event. The live experience bias is still there, but this had me tense, smiling, or screaming from excitement the entire time. Cant find a much better way to finish Codys story and Romans title reign. Maybe if Stone Cold came out, but Undertaker is more than enough, and has some story to it as well. And speaking of story, having Roman still show hes not over Seths turn in 2014 was pure cinema. Wrestling adrenaline (in my soul)! *****"

[6.0] "Not atrocious or anything, but you would expect better from Umino at least. The pace was very slow and the only positive thing about this match was the crowd. Things picked up at the end, but it was almost entirely forgettable. Maybe Jack Perry tries playing to the card too much or something, but I've never been impressed with him in terms of how he conveys urgency or struggle in a match. It just feels like he's there and Umino got stuck in 1st gear as a result. Overall, a bit disappointing and not entirely exciting. ***"

[8.0] "Fantastic math with two teams that have good chemistry together. I enjoyed the added drama of the stipulation of The Creed Brothers being kicked out of Diamond Mine if they lost and having their parents front row and on camera multiple times throughout the match definitely added to the atmosphere. My personal favorite spot of the match was the Shooting Star Press landed by Julius at the end of the contest and for my money this was the match of the night. Both of these teams definitely have big futures ahead in WWE and this match was a solid 4 star performance."

[9.0] "Bayley brought the fire, Iyo did the same. But with Bayley, it was the awesome babyface adrenaline, and Iyo with just how amazing her skills are. Top 3-5 womens matches from WrestleMania. ****1/2"

[8.0] "Since the US title isnt as utilized at Mania, this might just be the best United States Championship match in WrestleMania history. ****1/4"

[8.0] "I got hardcore Sheamus/Bryan vibes in the first 10 seconds. But they used the story with Rollins being worn down, CM Punk and the cash in so well. A very entertaining start to the show. ****"

[6.0] "Decent match with 2 solid young teams that could have used at least five more minutes. The Birminghammer finish looks fantastic for The New Catch Republic and this match is no less than 3 stars."

[7.0] "This was the first WrestleMania and I was able to go to live, and luckily I wasnt apart of the crowd where the lights were blocking their view. So I got to just watch a very solid match, with the right result, and nicely built the rest to come for the night. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Awkward Adam Page, who does not make a convincing cowboy no matter how many times they roll him out there, is a terrific performer in the ring. He opens this show with Powerhouse Hobbs. They have a pretty decent match with some good back and forth action. It looked for a brief second that Hobbs was going to upset Page, but itwasn't meant to be and Page gets the victory."

[8.0] "This was a great match. Regardless of the stories of being frustrated from not going to the main roster quick enough, Seth Rollins never let that get in the way of how good his matches were. Kassius Ohno was one of the best wrestlers around during that time, he had a unique style that matched his athletic ability. They had a great back and forth, it almost felt like I was watching a ROH match. ****"

[] "Such a fun match. Really fast-paced and physical, with lots of great athleticism on display. bWo Japan had a lot of great heel moments, too. I love how loud the stomps on the ring are, which only enhances all the bumps. Entertaining from start to finish."

[7.0] "Copeland getting cool Lucha Libre spots will always get a smile out of me. Im shocked it went longer, but it allowed them to know to really do a good finish. ***1/2"

[6.0] "Minoru Tanaka is a tricky one. He can absolutely great on one hand and real boring on the other. Keita Yano in Battlarts has the same issue of being great in terms of potential but sloppy in how he acts out what he wants to do, so you really had a big mixed bag of shit going into this one. The beginning had a lot of stop/start bits where they'd tease getting deeper into things but would back off or take a breather. It wasn't bad; but it did feel fairly weird for what was a fairly short matchup. There was a fair bit of comedy here where the crowd were laughing at their goofy stand-offs or when Keita ended up smearing Tanaka's chest in makeup after doing one of his old Johnny Saint spots. They played into it a bit here and there but I was again confused as they'd then reset into uber-serious mode right after. It felt like the match was struggling to have a proper theme to it. There is an attempt at that with Minoru kinda playing the 90's classical shooter with the kickpads and focus on a all-rounded style (strikes, submissions, etc) while Keita was more unorthodox and suffers for it despite his efforts. The mat-work was fine, my only real issue was that Minoru Tanaka just wrestled his normal self here rather than mixing things up. He still did stuff off the ropes, still did suplexes and knee-slap kicks etc etc. Nothing really brought back the great shoot-style act of the 90's that Tanaka was. Keita certainly wasn't going to be the guy to do that given he was fairly all over the place despite having some good selling. His stuff is weird and janky: while I certainly appreciate the value of him trying for a Jumbo-top rope knee press, this really wasn't the match for it lol. The last bit especially just was not good, with Minoru wiffing multiple kicks and Keita looking real scuffed doing awful spots like a missed knee drop and a fake out dropkick. Tanaka brought back with a cool arm drag/backslide into stiff roundhouse before we got a extended cross armbreaker that I think lasted a tad too long; I like when a extended armbreaker is a deathmove and not a rest spot, which this almost seemed like despite it being there purely to get over how "tough" Keita was or whatever. But yeah this was pretty dirt average. You get one or two good moments in a match that felt real disjointed and suffered from the two mixing in pro-style with shoot stuff which diluted both in this case. It's fine in a Otsuka match because his bits where he dives off the ropes for a random springboard moonsault or insane suplex are fucking awesome, doing that here just to have the two wiff offence is, frankly, real bad. Keita especially despite a spirited underdog selling performance just stunk on top. His stuff isn't tied in all that well together and seems random at a good few points. It definitely felt like the era of him just trying random shit he seen on tapes for the hell of it. Needed to be more grounded and Tanaka needed to reel Keita back in here for sure, felt like he was indulging his stupid stuff at a point here."

[5.0] "Yeah, even with live experience, this was a bummer. A couple of cool spots, but the pace really dragged (more than usual for a Roman epic). And the Jimmy turn will always be confusing. **3/4"

[9.0] "Some of the most shockingly terrific near falls of 2023. Bálor and Rollins played the storytelling with their 2016 match very well, and is the match of Seths WHC run. ****1/2"

[8.0] "The finale to their feud and best match of their feud. Cody started his comebacks when the beat-downs from Brock couldve started to get annoying, and the David vs. Goliath feel is under appreciated in this one. ****1/4"

[7.0] "Pretty solid match between O'reilly and Phantasmo. Kyle was more of the technician while as ELP was more of the spot guy. Personally, I feel like Kyle O'reilly carried, but that's just me."

[4.0] "It's an ok match. I think Styles, Daniels & Kazarian perform decently well in this match, but Kurt doesn't do anything too special besides a flurry of german suplexes for a crowd pop. Reasonable considering how damaged Kurt's body was at this point, but it leads to AJ having to basically face Daniels & Kazarian by himself for the most part, which holds this match back for me."

[8.0] "This was a great Royal Rumble match. I never thought Shinsuke Nakamura would win the thing, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that he did. There were so many fun bits here, from the Kofi Kingston pancakes thing to the return of The Hurricane. Fun Rumble."

[5.0] "The better match between these two all things considered. Takashima is pretty cool as the singlet-wearing sprawling wrestler (in his first match, no less! ) while Keita is his usual self. He starts off clean for the first minute or so before getting pissed off at Taka countering everything and changing tact to instead target his head with nasty Carvat takedowns and stomps to the face. The double toe-hold bit seemed pretty goofy but the mat-work besides that was fairly fine for two guys who weren't particularly super experienced at this point and time. Some bits were better on paper than in practise like Takeshima's weird diving chest slap to Keita while he was standing up and I wasn't particularly infused with joy about them trying to get over a Boston Crab/double Achilles Tendon in 2009 when UWF-I's cold dead corpse had beaten that to death and back. They exchange some pretty bleh strikes in stand-up honestly and the finish being a usual weird Keita submission wasn't particularly convincing. Kinda weak for a Battlarts match but given this was Takashima's first ever match I'll give him some props for handling himself fairly well here."

[6.0] "Real fun opener between two obviously talented wrestlers, albeit nowhere near as good as their 2003 singles. This starts hot with a lucha sequence before the two slow things down with some tolerable comedy and some slick grappling spots. They mostly ran the idea that Nagashima was the lesser of the two but was more agile, so she focused more on her speed and high-flying background to get in offence and escape from potentially dangerous holds. The match really flew by when watching it as they didn't really have any downtime and plenty of varied stuff despite the relatively tame conditions of what this was as a whole. Last few minutes were especially strong as they exchanged some solid near-falls and had Amano almost get the win multiple times with a ankle lock/German suplex, ultimately losing out to a spinning Victory Roll out of nowhere that stole Nagashima the pinfall in the end. Not much else to say; pretty good opener-style match that never threatened being anything beyond decent for what it was."

[7.0] "Starts off really slow and almost made me stop watching the match, however this match just kept getting better as it went on and these two really showcased their incredible chemistry together. This is a pretty short match at 16 minutes, but those last 5 minutes felt like an eternity because of how great it was."

[7.0] "This was a pretty good match. This was the first of only two matches between these teams, and this was seen as a dream match when it happened. If these two teams faced off at the height of their runs in 09-11, they would have had matches rivaling the ones Beer Money had with the Motor City Machine Guns. The finish was a little sudden to me as it was just getting really good when it ended. For a first time match with these two teams, this was fun. ***1/2"

[7.0] "Halfway decent match between a very young Sonjay Dutt and a British wrestler known as "Jonny Storm", although their skills weren't fully sharpened, I think they put on a quite alright cruiserweight match."

[7.0] "An enjoyable main event ad one would expect with three talents of this caliber. I dont think anyone really expected anyone other than AJ to win, especially following Knights win earlier in the show. Rey is still incredible to watch considering his miles at this stage of his career. Good chemistry on display between he, AJ, and Owens (Rey vs. Owens a singles match that has never happened yet and one I would like to see sometime.) AJ will be a good first challenger for Cody & he and Knight should have a good match next week."

[7.0] "The athleticism of guys like these three amazes me still. Best match of the night right here. AJ had to be the one to get the win here to set up the rematch with LA Knight. The Styles Clash off the ropes onto Owens was cool to see. Im astounded by the fact that these guys move so well still to this day. Its a shame the match was as short as it was as I could do with having another five minutes of these three. I am hoping that the rematch between Styles and Knight is better than their Mania match. They have room to grow."

[6.0] "I thought the last match was better tbh. Maybe thats because i prefer EneXusv to crazystar, but this match was a bit of a generic one"

[6.0] "Everything was working against this match. The Bucks segment ruined any hope this match had to even get the slightest praises. This match should not be main eventing a show in 2024. Even then, this ruled because its two of the greatest workers of all time. Samoa Joe looking around like a wounded dog only to get caught up in his confidence was such a good bit. The match outside the great bladejob had Joe actually working the cut so heartlessly and in doing so, made the crowd be at it's loudest when it was time for Dustin's babyface comeback. Not as good as it could be if given more time, this was still really cool."

[6.0] "Tiffany is a star but at times feel like Naomi is moving in slow motion comparatively or her offense doesnt look impactful. She needs to get back to smash mouth stuff that she was pulling with Jordynne Grace in TNA. Also, WWE is putting Naomi in an unenviable position. The crowd is split on Tiffany which means they are split on Naomi and you dont want that. I feel like Naomi has been somewhat directionless since returning. WWE needs to do something more with her. Tiffany needs to begin a championship push for more experience towards the main event."

[6.0] "Okay match. I loved Santos Escobar as King Cuerno in Lucha Underground but I just am struggling to buy LDF as a legitimate threat. Part of that is storyline. Part of that is the never ending feud with LWO and part of that is the crowd which is tepid in their reactions to him and LDF. The Pride could be a force if WWE pulled the trigger on them and made them a dominant smash mouth team. LA Knight needs a refocusing so he can put his skills to use and step up. Good match overall but the LDF shenanigans and Pride shenanigans weve seen before."

[6.0] "I honestly preferred the EVIL/Shingo match because it didn't feel anywhere near as bloated as this one did. Plus it was a lot more fun. Naito/Tsuji is a pretty big match to do. Tsuji is a rising star and they're stablemates. This could definitely be a passing of the torch match we'll seeing somewhere down the line. But the chemistry wasn't looking too good. This was 35 minutes and that is ridiculous. There was no way Tsuji was winning the title so soon and Naito/Moxley was already announced for Chicago. This was painfully mediocre for the first 10-15 minutes until they started moving into a couple creative exchanges but there was nothing special happening at any time in this match. Naito's style of wrestling is reliant on athleticism, speed and precision to look good and with his body not being in great shape we're going to start seeing more underwhelming matches. Tsuji's selling and flashiness held my attention but I never felt like these two clicked here. ***1/4"

[7.0] "MATCH OF THE NIGHT RIGHT HERE. Which was expected but 10 measley minutes feels kinda wrong for these three but it's whatever to be honest. It was good and we had some nice moments like the Styles Clash on the top rope onto Kevin Owens and the combo moves were seemless. My only issues with the match was the sloppiness at times which was noticeable at times and kinda broke the flow. AJ Styles was OBVIOUSLY gonna be the winner and man that new theme needs to GO, It has NO AURA. LA Knight vs. AJ II, let's hope its better than the Mania match because it was good but it can be better. [***1/2]"

[5.0] "They had a match before and this one was a bit worse than their last match up. These two don't really jell well together and it's really sad. It was just kind of a bore until the second act and Stratton looks like shes gonna face Bayley in France but it begs to question why make her lose to Naomi to build up a match for a PPV. Kind of makes her look weak or maybe I'm wrong and they are going a different route. Either way...A boring match that only started getting okay at the end of it and then Naomi rolling her up feels cheap. [**1/2]"

[5.0] "Man this match had potential but was dropped on its head with the shenanigans and the lack of anything happening within this match. I think Santos & Lashley had a match before and it was MID so I was not excited and even with LA Knight they couldn't help it. It was obvious LA Knight was gonna win and it just made for a match waiting for an ending to come at it. The Tower of Doom spot and the Montez Ford suicide dive was good but it couldn't save the match overall. Disappointing overall to start the show. [**3/4]"

[7.0] "This is the kind of House of Torture match I love. This was an absolute blast and surprisingly creative. Kanemaru as the 'referee' was hilarious and his enziguri to Shingo and quick 3-count was a great tease for a bullshit finish. Hiromu coming out as the counter referee was also great. The constant ref bumps and House of Torture tricks made this a joyride to watch with my friend. Shingo overcomes everything to become the new champion then Gabe Kidd attacks him after the match and cuts an excellent promo. Give me a Shingo/Kidd rivalry for the NEVER title. ***1/2"

[6.0] "Santana was always good for a solid match on any show, no matter who it was with, but this one included an angle afterwards where The Red Rooster snapped and assaulted Bobby Heenan for mistreating him. Match was decent, too."

[3.0] "Beyond boring. Kanemaru works the back of YOH and it has zero impact on the finish. They wrestled in slow motion for quite awhile. SHO added some interest on the outside of the ring. The finish was just your basic 'babyface avoids heel trick and gets the win'. *1.2"

[6.0] "Dustin Rhodes can never have a bad match. Throughout this entire AEW career, he's been consistent in giving his all in every match he's in and this was no different. People flock towards innovation and sensation when there's still so much beauty to be found in the standard architecture of direct storytelling. Not here though. Here, it all worked. Here, the foundation was so strong that it moved in parallel with the details and was worth letting go and immersing yourself in. The babyface was cheered. The heel was booed. Everyone played their part. Like other commentators have pointed out, Dustin's selling was a bit iffy and I can't say I was a fan of him getting up after being hit with the spear. In any case, this ruled for the most par.t"

[7.0] "As we have come to expect from the ABC, this is good match. While they are far superior than their opponents, first class still ended up putting up a good performance. AJ Francis can carry himself of charisma alone, which is a very useful tool for him. The inevitable (pun sort of intended) break up of the ABC will sadden me, but it is for the best, as both men will go on to get the amazing pushes they deserve."

[7.0] "It is PCO in a no disqualification match. You are bound to get some crazy shit that is at the very least entertaining. This match was exactly that: entertaining. I have enjoyed Kon as the baddest man in TNA, and this gimmick helped the match be believable as two crazy fuckers just going ham on each other. The thumb tacks in the mouth were nasty in all the right ways. Good match, fun finish."

[3.0] "I don't even remember this match happening. That's how much of an impact it made on obsessed wrestling fan like me at age 14 when I saw it. I was a huge fan of the Warrior and I respected Honky Tonk Man's heel heat. Still do today as the man seems like a slimeball. A nothing match."

[9.0] "Proper careful methodical wrestling to start before they went into the heavier stuff. It was a match with almost no wasted motion and everything flowed quite naturally. Manji-gatame, enzugiri, the practical backdrop answer to the sleeper, were all strong style at its finest. And Shibata channeling Tenryu was also great. Proper sense of dynamism as is Will Ospreay's custom. Katsuyori Shibata is in incredible condition compared to his generational peers these days (Nakamura, Tanahashi). It's actually amazing. It's a bit harrowing to see someone who had craniotomy taking heavy bumps... but it is hard to deny the sheer joy of seeing Shibata back in action, doing what he loves."

[6.0] "Good opener. Rhea is the dominant force and controls most of the match, while Becky works over the pre injured hand/arm and gets some hope spots with the armbars. Classic story told pretty well. Both women do some good work, the match layout is good and there are a couple of great spots, but you get the feeling they are going a lot slower than they normally would, probably due to Becky's illness. The crowd is also pretty subdued for most of the match, which makes for a weird atmosphere and does very little to help hide the fact that the match is a bit awkwardly timed and a bit slow. Not a bad match by any means, and pretty impressive given the circumstances of Becky's condition, but these two have a much better match in them somewhere down the line"

[9.0] "Chaotic match, the dream faction match between The Elite vs Blackpool Combat Club is happening. A lot of spots, everyone shined, perfectly executed. The story was well told, I dont know who is the MVP in this match, maybe in The Elite, Kenny Omega was the MVP, everything in this match connects with Omega. On the other Faction, Wheeler Yuta. The other 3 made another good peformance in their lists but Yuta Wow, he made a stellar perfomance, the most important moves in the match are starring by Yuta and the pin is crazy. One point for the Takeshita appearance. ****/75"

[4.0] "A basic and boring match but it had some good parts. Umino and Kanemaru had some fun exchanges. I think Umino's new look is actually a lot better. Looks less Tanahashi-esque. This was your usual HoT lower card match just slightly less interesting. **"

[6.0] "A competently wrestled though not very memorable opener. Blackwood has never been that interesting to me and though his striking game was pretty alright here, I still couldnt get that into his performance here. Jiah was alright though. His selling of Blackwoods big power moves and strikes was great and helped to build a lot of sympathy for him prior to his big upset win."

[8.0] "This was a good Arena Mexico main event. Everyone worked well and Mascara Dorada stood out the most in this match. Overall, a good match but nothing super amazing. Everyone worked well and I dont have many complaints!"

[2.0] "This was really bad. I've been a longtime defender of the House of Torture. In the right setting the gimmick works and the crowd is super into it, but that's when you have a babyface on the other side of the ring and the heel gimmick isn't overexposed to death. We've seen the House of Torture for nearly 4 years now, sometimes 4 times in a single show. This match had an awful energy to it from the start. Despy was sleepwalking through this one and SHO was just overacting everything. The pace was awful, there weren't any fun exchanges, the interference looked so cheap, it was just a bad match. *1/4"

[9.0] "Brutal and violent. Basically what you expect out of any BCC stipulation match. Felt like a proper war and a beautiful reunion of the Elite. With all the talent involved it could've used more actual wrestling instead of car crash moments but that's sort of stuff isn't expected when it's anarchy in the arena."

[10.0] "Match of the night for sure. The 4 of them brought their bag for this match. The only real knock I have on this one is the build. MJF really had to carry it but when the bell rung all 4 came out swinging. I think everyone (except maybe Guevara) came out of this looking amazing and like they could genuinely be the pillars that were promised."

[8.0] "What a great way to end the show with the #1 Contenders Fatal Four Way Match. This match was absolutely sick and was probably one of the best main events we've gotten in a while. Every particapant had their moment to shine and we got some great spots like the 450 through the announce table and CM Punk costing Drew the title again and adding that story element. [****1/4]"

[7.0] "A pretty fun match between Chad Gable & Sami Zayn vs. Imperium, a nice quick match which had some cool moments my favorite being the ending with the Helluva Kick/O'Connor German Suplex Combo between them. My only gripe with this match was that it felt too short. More time and it could have been better. [***1/2]"

[9.0] "Can totally see why its regarded as high as it is. These guys move in fast motion and tiger mask in particular was an insane athlete. The Suplexs are eye catching and the crowd electric. The no selling is only mildly annoying but the match getting thrown out 3 times before actually ending is quite hard to follow. No negatives actually in the ring in my books but the constant interruptions with the stoppages do suck and stop it from being 5 stars"

[7.0] "Extremely random match. Kind of the temu version of Bad Bunny's Backlash match. Not bad or anything but after the absolute banger that was night 1's main event and the previous year's match, expectations were high. This didn't really meet any of them in my view. Predictable match. CR did has 5 moves he always does. RR went through the paces. It finally starts picking up and they start wrestling ... and then the interference kicks in. The predictable interference was even more random overbooking than I expected. No Rikishi, Jacob Fatu. no stone cold, no anyone unexpected. IDK wtf the undertaker was there looking like he was burglarizing my house. Had a whole been there done that feeling. It seemed like they ran out of ideas and then there were 10m of run-ins. It's service-able but nothing great or even good. This is one of those matches that will not age well."

[4.0] "Travel issues caused both to be late to the show and went on to have a spot heavy match prior to the main event. It was ok for what it was but some will likely detest it."

[] "this is the kind of match you show someone to get them into wrestling. perfect balance of acrobatics, chain wrestling, comedy, and outlandish spots. a blast of a match and im glad it was one of my first."

[7.0] "I thought that last year's Rey De Parejas Final was slightly better but this match was also excellent, they are all above fourty years old and they continue to be that good! Some good limbwork at the beginning from YAMATO & Yokosuka over Dragon Kid's legs they started to target after Tiger Feint Kick into a Dragon Screw from YAMATO, DK sold it pretty well until Doi's explosive hot tag that temporarily brought the advantage to his team. There was some good evolution to the past matches in the Rey De Parejas for both teams like YAMATO finally doing the Elbow Drop after Susumu Mochizuki's Kamikaze, and DK and Doi improving their teamwork, the sequence where Doi attempted a Sunset flip and Dragon Kid went for the bible to set up the Bakatare Sliding Kick was a good proof of it, and damn that Doi 555 to throw YAMATO outside the ring right after was brutal - ***3/4+"

[6.0] "A match that showed how promising the Dragon Gate young boys are! Fuda, Yanagiuchi and Tanaka are really promising, they improve match per match and the storyline around Fuda being late compared to Tanaka is pretty cool. Some really nice action including Kikuta hitting a really brutal Hip Attack on Fuda. Curious to see if they planned to add Yanagiuchi in D'courage or not but it would help him for sure and it would add more to Fuda's story - ***+"

[6.0] "This wasn't something special or what but this was it should have been, a fun match with Punch Tominaga having his ass whooped by Don Fujii, Punch is always fun in this kind of match and he knows how to play his character really well. Everyone displayed their skills and made it decent - ***"
