[9.0] "Upon seeing few of Rey Fenix matches, both as singles and as a tag team, safe to say that he is one of the most spectacular highflyers amongst most luchadores. Although, luchadores are well known for excessive use of flashy spots, Fenix can make most of his moves very important to the matches he performed. His team-up with Penta El Zero Miedo, also known as the Lucha Brothers, are the most exciting and one of the best luchadores tag team in all of pro-wrestling. Seeing them fought the Young Bucks showed how much of an amazing chemistry these two teams got. Fenix is obviously the stand-out of the two and brought amazing highlights on most of their matches. Fenix reminded me of a young Rey Mysterio due to his abilities and I believe that Fenix fits to be the next Rey Mysterio, which means he could be the next top successful worldwide luchador if booked right. The only guys that I can think of that somehow can match Fenix's highflying abilities is El Hijo del Vikingo, which is another talented young luchador. Also, I love his edgy style and calling his opponents, "ZERO MIEDO" which means "No Fear" in Spanish. His personality showed that he is not just some generic luchador that we most commonly saw on lucha libre wrestling. Truly an excellent performer and always a blast when I see him on his matches."

Mr Nice Guy wrote about 4x4:
[1.0] "There's not much of note here. A guy hired presumably only because of his look, 4x4 made the Ultimate Warrior look like the most versatile wrestler ever, having like four moves in total that I have seen; punching, a bear hug, a body slam and I think he did a big splash onto a guy's back once. I guess he has an okay look, but it's kinda undercut by the fact that he's not especially tall by wrestling standards. I suppose he could provide as a bodyguard (which was his main role in WCW anyways), but not much else."

[10.0] "L-O-V-E LOVE PURORESU! It's fitting that one of TJPW's brightest stars has one of the best entrance themes. Miu Watanabe is still young but has already established herself as being the promotion's future ace, especially with her recent and thoroughly-deserved first Princess of Princess Championship victory. TJPW has sometimes been criticised for the stagnancy of its title scene, with the top belt usually being traded back-and-forth between company pillars Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki and Shoko Nakajima - All of whom are excellent wrestlers but have certainly made it difficult for the company to create real contenders to challenge them. Fortunately, Miu Watanabe's talent is undeniable and she's managed to break through. Miu is the complete package in terms of a TJPW wrestler: She has such a bubbly and charming personality (seriously, try to find pictures of her where she isn't smiling) with the wrestling ability to boot. Miu's incredibly strong for her size and her moveset fittingly makes good use of this, with her giant swing being one of the best in the business. Miu's also the de facto leader of TJPW's Up-Up Girls idol unit. I don't usually care for idol culture but Miu's energy in UUG's performances before every show is infectious. Very excited to see how she progresses."

[9.0] "Pom Harajuku is cowardly and petty and that's why she's so much fun to watch! TJPW tends to stay away from face/heel dynamics but Pom's villainous streak manifests itself in such silly ways that you can't help but love her. In a fashion typical of many TJPW wrestlers, Pom has solid in-ring fundamentals but probably isn't going to be setting the world on fire with sheer technical ability any time soon. She more than makes up for it with personality though: No one can convey pain and distress like Pom can. Her feud and subsequent partnership with Max the Impaler was one of the most entertaining storylines in recent TJPW history, with Pom usually being forcefully dragged to the ring by her fellow roster members for her matches with the non-binary nightmare. Definitely sits in the same mold as Hyper Misao in terms of wrestlers who aren't likely to trouble TJPW's title scene but you still love to have them around."

I will not be seeking out any of her matches as it's alleged that she has had other wrestlers blackballed EDIT unintentionally saw a couple of her matches. decent worker. doesn't change my opinion on her. having wrestlers blackballed is a no go for me still"

She is trying too much to look "evil" but she don't has it. She is also copycatting AJ Lee a lot, most of her promos and mannerisms are based off on her and its annoying. It almost makes you want to shout at her: "find yourself a personality."

Best way to describe him, he was like a Ruthless Agression freak who didn't do anything. Loveable guy as a person, wrestler he was pretty bad."

[] "The most versatile performer EVER. Amazing matches? Check. Great promos? Check. Can be a heel or babyface? Check. Can be used as a comedy character but still be taken seriously in the ring? Check. Hes got it all. Kurt is one of the few guys I can think of that is simultaneously one of the greatest in ring guys of all time and one of the greatest promo guys too. Very underrated on the stick. I cant put him over enough. 10/10 wrestler AND entertainer."

[] "Good in the ring, but would I put him on the level of a Kurt Angle, AJ Styles or Bryan Danielson? Not for me. I know hes an IWC favorite but he doesnt really do anything that other guys cant do, and sometimes better. One of those guys that I never got the insane hype for. His promos range from mediocre to bad."

[] "As a heel, I enjoyed him. His undashing mask gimmick is still the best work of his career in my opinion. As a babyface, he puts me to sleep. Droning and monotonous promos that all seem to follow the same formula of finishing the story and doing it for his daddy. If only he had the charisma of his dad, because he has a great look. The bleached blonde hair and obnoxious American skull neck tattoo make him look like a character from a Capcom game. Im not a total Cody hater but hes gonna have to either turn heel or at least show a little more edge in his character. Very few guys can pull off the goody two shoes white meat babyface character, and hes not one of them for me. As a wrestler, hes perfectly fine in the ring. Sometimes even great. Hes no AJ Styles or Bryan Danielson but who is. Thats not his issue for me."

[] "The greatest to ever step inside a ring. Which I am aware is quite the unpopular opinion in the IWC but no one drew more money and interest in wrestling ever. The first true megastar to come out of the business and by far the biggest. But even beyond his drawing power, I find him quite underrated. One of my favorite promos of all time, full of energy and charisma. You compare his promos to someone rather bland like Cody Rhodes and its night and day. Some arent a fan of the cartoony presentation but I love the 80s cheese. Then you have his heel nWo run which is another level entirely. Im not sure anyone else can claim to be the best babyface and best heel of all time other than Hogan. The GOAT."

[] "One of the best in ring workers of all time. Also incredibly safe and never seems to get injured, which is very impressive for a guy that wrestles like he does. His promos and character work for a large chunk of his career were mediocre at best but he more than made up for it. The AJ in WWE doesnt quite have the bangers that he had in TNA, but he evolved as a complete sports entertainer and managed to become WWE champion in his first year, having great matches with Cena, Reigns, and Ambrose. AJ Styles makes my top 10 of all time for sure. Simply PHENOMENAL."

[] "His promos as the de facto leader of The Shield were great. He really had the aura and potential to be a badass anti authority figure similar to Austin, but WWE turned him into a comedy goof that rolls around a hotdog cart and talks to a potted plant. Now hes at AEW and Im not impressed by him there either. Not a fan of death matches in the first place but Moxleys are really bad and nonsensical. A guy who was probably my favorite member of The Shield from 2013-2015 is now by far my least favorite of the 3."

Just has such an amazing understanding and fluidity to him for being so young. An amazing get for NXT and while it's sad for him to leave DPW and they've said he would've had the title forever, I look forward to seeing what he can do."

[6.0] "A tale of two careers here. The first half of his career, he was one of the trailblazers for the foreign heel gimmick. He looked great, very entertaining promos and a credible threat to main event faces. Then he lost to Hogan and it started to go downhill. His workrate died a death, becoming immobile very quickly. He even made his tag partner, Nikolai Volkoff, look like a spring chicken by comparison! His activities outside the ring certainly didn't help either, turning him into a parody of himself. Dispute the post Col. Mustafa side of his career, I still hold a soft spot for Sheik and enjoy seeing him from time to time."

And as a singles, one of the best and most valuable wrestlers WCW had. Plus from all accounts, a better man than he was a wrestler and that is exceptional. Perfect 10. Plus smart enough to let Corny, Arn, Regal etc do the talking!"

[0.0] "Vince buying WWF in 1983, signing Hogan and then making him the main star and properly capitalizing on Hogan's fame from Rocky III is probably the sole reason why the company exists today. It was a smart move as was signing all of the big stars from each territory and building an all star team. However, after that, nearly every big idea that may or may not be credited to Vince was thought of by someone else first. The big event? Dusty. The Royal Rumble? Pat Patterson. The name Wrestlemania? Howard Finkel. Vince didn't think of using music for entrances, didn't come up with the concept of pushing the envelope in the late 90's, (that was ECW), didn't create the on screen evil boss, (Eric Bischoff). Vince rode the backs of so many stars to a big pile of money. Having read several wrestler's biographies, Vince gets credit for tweaking certain ideas like making Kurt Angle a heel with an 80's babyface persona and a bunch of other things. From 2018 until his departure the company got worse and worse. How any fan of any age found anything about the product entertaining is beyond me and frankly they deserve free merch for putting up with below average content. I'm not going to go into his most recent scandal because everyone here already knows. There's times when you simply can't ignore outside the business behavior and even if he truly was a genius, he'd still get a 0."

[5.0] "I saw a comment on Instagram on a post about CM Punk that said, "Nothing could make me hate this man". Punk is clearly aware of this type of fan which is why he uses "Cult of Personality". There are a few things about CM Punk that I believe are irrefutable facts; He's a great talker, decent worker, and emotionally maladjusted. He has a pattern of behavior everywhere he has been. I've long thought that being great at promos is the single most important aspect of being a wrestler. It can carry you longer and to a status the person wouldn't have earned without it. Think of Roddy Piper, who also happens to be a major influence on Punk. If you're clumsy in the ring, which Punk is, it really doesn't matter because the fans are invested in what you're doing. That doesn't mean he never has a great match, but compared to a lot of his contemporaries he's pretty far behind. I still enjoy his work because his poor behavior isn't nearly as bad as others, but the fans that see him as infallible are concerning."

[4.0] "While I admit that Michael Cole isn't the worst commentator of all time and he's had chemistry with Pat McAfee, but that's all the positives I can give you. I don't get this reevaluation that Michael Cole is getting when he's still a mediocre at best commentator who is only serviceable when he's being carried by vastly superior commentators like Taz. He gives off the energy of someone who wasn't a wrestling fan and just a normal broadcaster, but not a good one. I can't tell you how much I hate whenever he uses the phrase "vintage" or will say "oh my" or "can it be? " or "you gotta be kidding me" whenever a big moment or a return happens, immediately deflates the moment. While it's nice WWE acknowledges pro wrestling outside of WWE/WCW/ECW, hearing Michael Cole using words like "professional wrestling" and talking about other companies just feels unnatural and ineffective, it feels like he's saying these things just to win the internet fans over. Overall, while he's gonna go into the WWE's Hall of Fame no matter what, I'm still not sold on him, he still sounds the same but without Vince shouting in his ear to say ridiculous nonsense, and his heel run is one of the all time worst heel runs any individual in pro wrestling could ever have. I get he has longevity in the WWE, but so does Kevin Dunn and he sucks too."

Nothing about her looks genuine, (I'm not talking about appearance), she was always making herself look better in promos with any wrestler, male or female. I remember the build up to Summerslam 2014 and they made it sound like Inoki was coming out of retirement when it was announced Steph was going to have a match. She was never good in the ring and the demand to see her again wasn't high. The only time I ever found her entertaining was in 1999 when she was just Vince's daughter. Kidnapped by Undertaker, Test's girlfriend, etc. All the stuff before, in kayfabe, Triple H drugged, kidnapped, and raped her. I can say with certainty that she offered so little as a character I was never interested. If she was just another on air talent she would've been future endeavoured after 2003 at the longest."

I'm sure he's making great money and probably happy but selfishly as a fan of his for a long time I expected a lot more. It's like Nakamura's run. To me, he's a bottom card guy desperately trying to look like the big time. Especially with his weird, kayfabe or not, obsession with being passive aggressive on Twitter towards other entities. I don't understand it. He's also shockingly clumsy in the ring and doesn't appear to have good control over his body. His ring attire is also atrocious. You could say that's because he's a heel and it's for the heat(tm) but so was Ted Dibiase in the late 80's and his gear didn't look like he picked it up at a yard sale on the way to the arena."

As a commentator he's on the list of all time worst not counting someone who was a one off or temporary replacement. The camera cuts to his dancing are obnoxious. There's been variations to his entrance attire and pose but he's largely done the same promo and same character for 15 years. He's also not very good athletically. Any match of his that's considered great is with someone who always has great matches. Someone could make a solid case for his title run in 2011 to be the nadir of that belt in the 21st century. That's never going to put someone in the conversation for the greatest ever. It was fun seeing him perform from 2012-2015. Everything after that, save for a few matches, was pretty uneventful. Once suplex city became a thing that's all he did during his matches. Then he had two awful Wrestlemania main events with Roman although their first one in 2015 was really good. [7.0] "I don't blame Roode for signing with WWE when he did. He was 39 years old and likely felt it was now or never. TNA started getting better in 2018 after D'Amore and Callis took over and I wonder how Roode would've contributed. His NXT run was great but his main roster run wasn't. That was the standard for that era. NXT was light years ahead of the main roster and it was incredibly rare for the main ppv to be better than the Takeover the night before. Roode is very talented on the mic and in the ring and it's a shame the last few years of his career are forgettable."

A heartless, soulless move machine who gets his biggest praise for simply being Will Ospreay if Ospreay couldn't talk, showed zero emotion, couldn't sell convincingly, and was ginger. And that's coming from someone who loathes Ospreay and everything he stands for. Blake Christian, for all his faults, shows no signs of improving. He does this one series of rolls and flips into a basement dropkick on an opponent that's on hands and knees. Genuinely, I don't think he's ever connected with the kick at the end, and he won't stop doing the move."

He had epic bouts against Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Stan Hansen, etc. He also ruled both AJPW and NOAH during his tenure. The master of knife edge chop, who wouldn't forget the chop fest between him and Kensuke Sasaki, an inspiration of many chop battles especially in Japan. Simply his amazing skill and work rate outshone most of the wrestlers in its existence. The Burning Hammer is the most visually devastating move ever that puts down most of the victims of the receiving end, an ultimate finishing move. He had one of the best and the most inspiring comebacks when he returned to the ring after he was diagnosed with cancer. He was truly overlooked in the Western media but there is no denying that no matter how much they ignore Kobashi, most of its hardcore wrestling fans will know that Kobashi is the GOAT and I definitely agree with it. For those who wanted to know more what he's capable of, I suggest watching their NOAH match against Mitsuharu Misawa on 1st of March in the year of 2003. In my opinion, the greatest wrestling match of all time."

But, unless you're a wrestling historian whose an expert and a fan of 70s/80s wrestling and/or the USWA, I really don't think that's what you think of Jerry Lawler when his name is mentioned. I know him primarily for his color commentary work, which frankly isn't bad at all in the grand scheme of things and for the time. Personally, however, it's hard for me to really enjoy his commentary without cringing all the damn time. Again, I get it of the time and our sensibilities have drastically changed since then, but that really isn't an excuse. Believe it or not, I really don't wanna hear an old ass man talking about women in the most perverted, disgusting way possible, mentioning he likes them younger and getting horny whenever any woman enters the ring even for a second. Not to mention all the weird shit he's said asides from being perverted. Do I need to mention the Chinese hospital line from the 2000 edition of the Royal Rumble? And of course, the big allegation from the early 90s that while he didn't get convicted of, a lot of the information around it really makes him absolutely suspect in my opinion. There is no question that her time in UFC is remarkable and historic, but I am only reviewing her during her pro-wrestling stint. First off, she had a solid first WWE run. She was hot and had one of the best rookie years WWE ever had. But since her return at the Royal Rumble 2022, Ronda showed zero passion in pro-wrestling and had little to no interest on working with WWE. She's only there for money and glory. Her matches are sloppy, and she botches a lot of moves. Most of her matches, all she did was arm drags and judo throws. I am even worried that sometimes due to her ruggedness in performing at the ring, I don't know if she intends to injure her opponents for real or she is just simply terrible at performing. Her promos are unbearable and has a change the channel heat. The way that she messed up her promos intentionally will never be funny. I also dislike on how some big-time matches; Ronda manages to ruin it on purpose. WWE made a bad investment on re-signing Ronda Rousey in 2022. Now that Ronda is truly gone from WWE, I hope we would never see her again even in the indy wrestling scene. Her first WWE run is what saved her from rating this to absolute zero. Just hope she stayed retired so that I won't rate her any lower than usual. Ronda may possibly be the worst MMA to wrestling transition star."

Takagi's hybrid of powerhouse and heavy hitter makes him one of the very difficult opponents to deal and to catch up with. He had amazing matches with Tomohiro Ishii, Kazuchika Okada and most notably, Will Ospreay. Takagi always make the match better even when he faces average guys like EVIL, Taichi and Toru Yano. He is the guy who has a slew of 5-star matches because of his insane work in the ring. His mentality reminds me of a samurai and that's why I love Takagi. He respected the business very much and he is one of the guys who takes the sport very seriously. No doubt whomever opponent he pairs with, expect that you will have a great match. He had a great set of moves like the Last of the Dragon, Pumping Bomber, making his finishers very devastating. The reason why I am not giving him a full-fledge 10/10 rating is there is a little bit of holding back due to being a part of LIJ probably because they don't want to outshine Naito since he is the leader and their star. I knew that there is something Takagi still hides, maybe a darker version of Takagi perhaps. He needs to go solo or create a new faction with himself as a leader so that he can fully establish himself in NJPW, as he is the only guy that even going out of LIJ would not affect the state and career of Takagi unlike EVIL and SANADA whose careers are going nowhere. A total package wrestler."

His matches capture my attention unlike any other wrestler. He knows how to capture a crowd and keep them in the palm of his hand. His work on the indies is legendary, his feuds with Raven and Samoa Joe are forever etched in wrestling history. He really did change the game in WWE, and gave some of their biggest stars their best matches (ie. John Cena, Undertaker). When he returned to wrestling in 2021 and signed with AEW I started watching wrestling again and I'm glad I was able to see so many of the great matches he's put on since his return. His match with Eddie Kingston is one of my favourites to come back to and rewatch. His feud with MJF is the best in the history of AEW. Although the build was messy, his matches against Moxley were sick. The early Collision run was also tons of fun, and culminated in his final match in the company against Samoa Joe at All In (which was my MOTY last year, great professional wrestling). Now, he is back in WWE. I was skeptical at first, but the feud with Drew McIntyre is set to be some legendary stuff and I can't wait to see that play out. His injuries have been unfortunate, but I think people are tougher on CM Punk than they are on literally every other wrestler for their injuries. Along with Dump Matsumoto, their rivalry with the Crush Gals and JB Angels in the mid 80s was epic, and Bull did this at around the age of 16. Very few wrestlers can claim to have been an icon of of a top promotion at such an early age. Bull had her fundamentals down from the beginning, and she increased her arsenal as the years went by, including her mastering of the Nun chucks as rebellious teenager. In the early 90s Bull was the top star in AJW and helped the company reach the male audience with her aggressive style. Bull lead the company for nearly 3 years as WWWA champion, while still in her early 20s, before going to WWF. Dreamer is a hugely underrated star in my opinion, because not many people remember how over he was in the 90s. Dreamer is nicknamed the heart and soul of ECW because he embodies what ECW was, yeah it was extreme but it also had a charm to it that made you want to watch it and have a good time doing so, just like Tommy Dreamer himself."
