Awful television next to by far the worst manager in TNA history category. He can carry a match but cannot make it entertaining in a good way. He's been doing excellent work in the Northeast region (I've seen him work Catalyst live) and he's got a lot of natural charisma, he's got an incredible look. Very underrated in the space"

[10.0] "Such an underrated performer and an all time face, and such an amazing person outside of the ring. One of the best sellers in town, a very good worker who can wrestle anyone to a good match, super charismatic, and such a positive influence in the business. Just his work in Syria alone makes him a favorite of mine. I'd say the only negative thing I can say about him is how he has been used in WWE in the past, though things have improved drastically as of late."

[2.0] "I am very aware that he was an absolute legend in the 80s, and a great wrestler from that time too. He had psychology and charisma, and his style of promotion with the inclusion of comic book inspired characters and angles is fun. But, unless you're a wrestling historian whose an expert and a fan of 70s/80s wrestling and/or the USWA, I really don't think that's what you think of Jerry Lawler when his name is mentioned. I know him primarily for his color commentary work, which frankly isn't bad at all in the grand scheme of things and for the time. Personally, however, it's hard for me to really enjoy his commentary without cringing all the damn time. Again, I get it of the time and our sensibilities have drastically changed since then, but that really isn't an excuse. Believe it or not, I really don't wanna hear an old ass man talking about women in the most perverted, disgusting way possible, mentioning he likes them younger and getting horny whenever any woman enters the ring even for a second. Not to mention all the weird shit he's said asides from being perverted. Do I need to mention the Chinese hospital line from the 2000 edition of the Royal Rumble? And of course, the big allegation from the early 90s that while he didn't get convicted of, a lot of the information around it really makes him absolutely suspect in my opinion. That, and his feud with Micheal Cole was shit. I just can't stand him."

Michael Hazan wrote about Asuka:
[] "Some will think that i'm exaggerating but i'm not when i say this: Asuka is THE greatest female wrestler (in-ring wise) to ever step foot in a WWE ring or in any ring, she can do it all, her strikes are so deadly, her submission skills are on point, she's also a quite underrated powerhouse and highflyer (despite standing at only 5'3, she's capable of being a powerhouse against women that are much taller than her), sometimes her promos suck but she oozes charistma and overall even by just yelling or saying something in Japanese, she keeps the audience interested and hooked into her, she's giving everyone their best matches even to women that can't necessarily keep up with her in the ring, let's also not forget her marvelous career as the undisputed and all-mighty Kana, she was making big waves in Japan both in and out of the ring, making one of the most famous wrestling promotions in Japan cancel her, creating her own wrestling shows that topped and outsold the promotion that blacklisted her and making a list and manifesto that criticized women being over-sexualized in the Joshi business, no matter where she's at, she's an icon that never disappoints and no matter how hard her haters (and by haters i mean the WWE creative team) will try to underestimate her, she is a SUPERSTAR and THE greatest superstar to ever come to their company, in conclusion: we only have and will have only 1 Asuka, definitely rating her a 10/10"

[2.0] "I think a lot of people would certainly agree that Ronda Rousey as a pro-wrestler is simply a hack that came from the MMA world. There is no question that her time in UFC is remarkable and historic, but I am only reviewing her during her pro-wrestling stint. First off, she had a solid first WWE run. She was hot and had one of the best rookie years WWE ever had. But since her return at the Royal Rumble 2022, Ronda showed zero passion in pro-wrestling and had little to no interest on working with WWE. She's only there for money and glory. Her matches are sloppy, and she botches a lot of moves. Most of her matches, all she did was arm drags and judo throws. I am even worried that sometimes due to her ruggedness in performing at the ring, I don't know if she intends to injure her opponents for real or she is just simply terrible at performing. Her promos are unbearable and has a change the channel heat. The way that she messed up her promos intentionally will never be funny. I also dislike on how some big-time matches; Ronda manages to ruin it on purpose. WWE made a bad investment on re-signing Ronda Rousey in 2022. Now that Ronda is truly gone from WWE, I hope we would never see her again even in the indy wrestling scene. Her first WWE run is what saved her from rating this to absolute zero. Just hope she stayed retired so that I won't rate her any lower than usual. Ronda may possibly be the worst MMA to wrestling transition star."

[3.0] "Whoa. Oof. I don't know. I don't know how this guy's rating is as high as it is. Maybe it's unfair of me to rate him off the back of one match, but he opened Judgement 2024 vs Tsubasa Suzuki--a wrestler without a profile on here--and Tsubasa looked like a star next to this guy. Soma's offense was sloppy and lethargic, it genuinely looked like he didn't want to be there, and to be completely shown up by someone that seems to unquestionably enhancement talent seems... uh, troublesome, to say the least. I'll change this if he comes back and impresses me in some other match, but this introduction was extremely sour for me. Great theme music though! EDIT: I have now seen him in four matches and he is consistently the worst worker in all of them. Absolutely don't understand what was going on with him in 16-20 that made people rate him so highly but he absolutely doesn't have it anymore."

[9.0] "Takagi is the best LIJ member in terms of match catalogue. I don't have any much idea during his time in Dragon Gate, so I am only reviewing his time in NJPW. Takagi's hybrid of powerhouse and heavy hitter makes him one of the very difficult opponents to deal and to catch up with. He had amazing matches with Tomohiro Ishii, Kazuchika Okada and most notably, Will Ospreay. Takagi always make the match better even when he faces average guys like EVIL, Taichi and Toru Yano. He is the guy who has a slew of 5-star matches because of his insane work in the ring. His mentality reminds me of a samurai and that's why I love Takagi. He respected the business very much and he is one of the guys who takes the sport very seriously. No doubt whomever opponent he pairs with, expect that you will have a great match. He had a great set of moves like the Last of the Dragon, Pumping Bomber, making his finishers very devastating. The reason why I am not giving him a full-fledge 10/10 rating is there is a little bit of holding back due to being a part of LIJ probably because they don't want to outshine Naito since he is the leader and their star. I knew that there is something Takagi still hides, maybe a darker version of Takagi perhaps. He needs to go solo or create a new faction with himself as a leader so that he can fully establish himself in NJPW, as he is the only guy that even going out of LIJ would not affect the state and career of Takagi unlike EVIL and SANADA whose careers are going nowhere. A total package wrestler."

[10.0] "My favourite wrestler of all time. I remember watching WWE as a kid, and I didn't really get invested until I saw CM Punk. He is obviously a great talker, and can make any storyline memorable simply on the microphone, but I also love the stories he tells in the ring during matches. His matches capture my attention unlike any other wrestler. He knows how to capture a crowd and keep them in the palm of his hand. His work on the indies is legendary, his feuds with Raven and Samoa Joe are forever etched in wrestling history. He really did change the game in WWE, and gave some of their biggest stars their best matches (ie. John Cena, Undertaker). When he returned to wrestling in 2021 and signed with AEW I started watching wrestling again and I'm glad I was able to see so many of the great matches he's put on since his return. His match with Eddie Kingston is one of my favourites to come back to and rewatch. His feud with MJF is the best in the history of AEW. Although the build was messy, his matches against Moxley were sick. The early Collision run was also tons of fun, and culminated in his final match in the company against Samoa Joe at All In (which was my MOTY last year, great professional wrestling). Now, he is back in WWE. I was skeptical at first, but the feud with Drew McIntyre is set to be some legendary stuff and I can't wait to see that play out. His injuries have been unfortunate, but I think people are tougher on CM Punk than they are on literally every other wrestler for their injuries. I hope he has a speedy recovery and he can get back in the ring soon. CM Punk has been my guy for as long as I've watched wrestling and I can't imagine anything changing that."

Gravey wrote about Bull Nakano:
[] "Her look is just the tip of the hair (iceberg). In order to fully appreciate Bull Nakano, you must watch her early matches in AJW and see the evolution of this tremendous wrestler. Some people are just born for this, and Bull is one of those people. Along with Dump Matsumoto, their rivalry with the Crush Gals and JB Angels in the mid 80s was epic, and Bull did this at around the age of 16. Very few wrestlers can claim to have been an icon of of a top promotion at such an early age. Bull had her fundamentals down from the beginning, and she increased her arsenal as the years went by, including her mastering of the Nun chucks as rebellious teenager. In the early 90s Bull was the top star in AJW and helped the company reach the male audience with her aggressive style. Bull lead the company for nearly 3 years as WWWA champion, while still in her early 20s, before going to WWF. Bull holds the honor of becoming CMLL's inaugural Women's Champion and winning the WWF Women's Championship. Bull Nakano was way ahead of her time, you can put any of her matches in any top promotion today and they'd still hold up against the best."

She is trying too much to look "evil" but she don't has it. She is also copycatting AJ Lee a lot, most of her promos and mannerisms are based off on her and its annoying. He has drive, nice body, very good in his English and Portugal is his home always. [8.0] "Great wrestler, but lacking in charisma mainly because he wasn't the strongest on the mic. Had some pretty great singles matches with HHH, HBK, Jericho and Kurt Angle and was mainly known for being in a tag team with Charlie Haas and then winning the intercontinental title on RAW while fueding with Chris Jericho. Sadly in WWE he was always given a pretty lackluster gimmick later on and kind of ruined his character. He also didn't have the best mic skills considering that he just wasn't very good at coming off loud and arrogant. He did some cool stuff in Japan too. But I don't think people can complain about him not getting the world title when he did get a pretty generous mid card push."

I'm not saying that she achieved what she achieved because of her last name, but without a doubt, with a different background, it would probably have been more difficult for her to achieve the status that she has. However, when she retires, I think she will change my rating. Since when that happens, Charlotte will be considered one of the best female wrestlers in history. [] "As an avid follower of OVW indie wrestling, I've witnessed countless talents rise to the occasion, captivating audiences with their charisma, athleticism, and unique personas. However, one wrestler who consistently leaves a lasting impression is none other than Jack Vaughn. Let's address the elephant in the room: Vaughn's performances are, frankly, inspiring. His matches have the energy and excitement that define the OVW experience. From precise movements to a noticeable agility, Vaughn's in-ring presence engages spectators on any level. It's as if he's moving through time, leaving viewers amazed at the spark that ignites. But perhaps Vaughn's biggest benefit lies in his gimmick. In an industry fueled by larger-than-life characters and gripping storylines, Vaughn's persona shines. His gimmick is unforgettable and downright show-stopping at best. The dude was extremely clunky in the ring, looked like your grandfather trying to relive their glory years, and created his own promotion so he could be his own world champion. I could understand that mentality of the wrestler that owned the promotion booking himself as champion to make sure nobody would skip town, but the fact that Eddy held the belt until his death is beyond ridiculous. Most of his match was stinkers, but that one he had with the Ultimate Warrior knock-off is an all-time failure. However, one wrestler who consistently fails to leave a lasting impression is none other than Jack Vaughn. Let's address the elephant in the room: Vaughn's performances are, frankly, uninspiring. His matches lack the energy and excitement that define the OVW experience. From sluggish movements to a noticeable lack of agility, Vaughn's in-ring presence fails to engage spectators on any level. It's as if he's moving through molasses, leaving viewers yearning for a spark that never ignites. But perhaps Vaughn's biggest downfall lies in his gimmickor lack thereof. In an industry fueled by larger-than-life characters and gripping storylines, Vaughn's persona falls flat. His gimmick, if you can even call it that, is forgettable at best and downright dull at worst. It's clear that he lacks the creativity and ingenuity needed to craft a persona that resonates with fans. Without a compelling character to rally behind, Vaughn's chances of ever earning a dedicated fanbase seem bleak."

However, as soon as the late 90s rolled around, the guy became borderline immobile, barely being able to walk, couldn't run at all (simply only able to walk fast), and needing the ropes to help him get off the mat. Not to mention, his physique made it so it look like he would blow up at any moment, and things he was already awkward at (such as selling) was made even worse. I'll give him one point since he wasn't completely horrible in his first few years, but he's a pretty piss poor big man otherwise. I view him as the KING of the Attitude Era, I remember a few years ago watching his Attitude Era clips on YouTube, he definitely ruled that era. He also sells a lot of merch and is always a top seller every year, talk about influence! His promos were great to listen to as well. It's a shame his career was cut short as he definitely was coming into his own league before the piledriver injury mentioned previously. I don't think I like his wrestling style, but his mic skills and charisma are borderline transcendent. The obsessed counterpoint to Kaito character he's currently running, combined with this "dangerous maniac goof" vibe he gives allows him to mold himself into virtually any wrestling situation (see: being the only maskless man in the dragon Bane/alpha Wolf/Marufuji sunny voyage match) in a way that stays true to his character and works well with others. I find him captivating in ways that have little to do with his in ring work, that's pretty remarkable in a promotion that bills itself as work rate first. The moment I realized that Kazuchika Okada was a Pro Wrestling machine who adapts to the style of his opponents and wrestles their style of match and then beats them. Katsuyori Shibata, finally getting a world title shot after winning NJ Cup. So well deserved to be in this spot; Shibata is such a legend, the definition of Strong Style. This match is brutal; Shibata beats the absolute breaks off of the champion and this was a true test for Okada's legendary title reign. Okada doesn't beat Shibata, he survives Shibata. But the more I think about it, I can't give you a reason he isn't. Sami Zayn might be the ultimate underdog and white meat babyface in history, up there with guys like Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy, Ricky Steamboat, Sting, etc. He was entertaining and amazing as El Generico in Ring Of Honor, having great matches with/against Kevin Steen, doing crazy spots and always playing the babyface role to perfection. Goes to WWE, starts out in NXT, and becomes the face of NXT during his tenure. Having great matches and feuds with the likes of Cesaro, Neville, Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, etc. Then he gets called up to the main roster, and has a fairly good run with a few flaws here and there. But the positives outweigh the bad if you ask me, those being his feud with Kevin Owens, his conspiracy theorist gimmick, the Honorary Uce gimmick, teaming with Kevin Owens, chasing after the Intercontinental Championship. Overall, Sami Zayn is gonna go down in history as a legend when his career is set and done, one of the ultimate good guys in wrestling with a big catalogue of great matches, promos, feuds, etc. An incredible babyface, underrated promo, great wrestler, even better storyteller, just as good as a seller, he has it all!"
