He had security for his president persona in the Good Hands but then fired and replaced them with GYV and then the good hands are now essentially cult followers of him. its making him seem like a million bucks like he deserves to be shown and I love it. I cant wait to see what else he cooks up"

She can also say she main evented a CMLL Anniversary event, which I'm pretty sure even Amapola and Marcela at their primes couldn't accomplish. Key match of hers to see - the mask vs mask match with Jarochita. Crowd was hot for that one, and approved of what they saw so much that they chanted This Is Wrestling in spanish. Another one would be the match vs Zeuxis on March 8, 2024."

It's a shame that the US indies just are not financially powerful enough to get a worker like Mike D over on a regular basis, because I think he'd get over huge on the US indies. He's the kind of guy at the moment that if ended up on an episode of AEW and given 10 minutes to do all his spots, he'd get over and people would be talking about him as a huge rising star."

His WCW work was bordering on an 8, his early WWF stuff was around a 7, his second WWE run was close to a perfect 10, and pretty much everything he's done from 2012 onwards is a 6 or lower. I think he's a cool dude but he should've put the boots away a decade ago."

That's not just being a mark for yourself, that's being an objectively bad husband and father. If he had half the smarts his supporters proclaim he would've stayed retired the first time around. I guess his matches with Morishima from twenty years ago were good though. Best wrestler ever."

I could bear this if the man's selling wasn't so goofy. I don't like the way he hits the ropes. I don't like the way he pumps his arms up and down like a cartoon character hyping himself up. I don't like how he turtles his neck and kicks his legs out like he's doing the duck walk whenever he gets punched into a corner. It's all the little things that add to me not buying him as a tangible, serious threat. I think he missed his calling in lucha libre."

[10.0] "Truly the best there ever was. Hard to find a bad match, though they do exist. He could have been better on the mic, but he had the it factor enough to hold down that top babyface spot for many years, and worked quite well as a heel. He was the face of the company during its darkest times, and to a lot of people that's a detriment, but he kept the ship afloat when it was sinking the hardest. His career could have been longer, but he was at his peak when he went out, so there's no embarrassing late career stuff to tarnish his legacy (well almost none of that, considering the awful 2010 comeback matches). His WCW run is disappointing, but there are some high points, some good matches with [redacted], Booker T, Flair, DDP. Aside from that, there isn't much left to criticize. His tag team run is some great shit and he has many of the best technical performances ever. He could even work a good brawling style. I guess you could call his matches repetitive and he was the original "moves of doom" wrestler but I think that's a common complaint people have of wrestlers they've seen lots of matches from. From a kayfabe standpoint, it would make sense to have a "bag" of stuff that worked to pull from. A+ worker, B- talker, A gimmick/look. It's definitely worth watching his greatest hits."

His battles with Go which steals the show, Manabu far as pride, El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr in defeat & most people talk about Kaito Kiyamura new year shows back to back for the GHC national & heavyweight championships respectively. Overwhelming wins in key battles earlier on in his time in M-PRO and yes his entrance music is the most iconic 2000s theme tune in the ongoing wrestling career span. KONGO was the stuff of legend, Asura left an impact while highlighting rival Fujita Jr Hayato, I reckon he can keep going making Pro Wrestling NOAH as chivalrous than it was in the 2000s. Very angry with flames kindred to his melanochaita entrance lion robe, Kenoh can hit P.F.S knees or stomps on any heavyweight or interchangeable cruiserweight on the green mat"

Even worse person outside of the ring, the definition of exploiting others for your gain. Disgusting and deplorable, insane that some people defend her despite the reality of these allegations. Was she important for the WWE, as well as American's wrestling? Absolutely, so are people like Vince. Just because they are important in wrestling history doesn't make them good."

[3.0] "I am very aware that he was an absolute legend in the 80s, and a great wrestler from that time too. He had psychology and charisma, and his style of promotion with the inclusion of comic book inspired characters and angles is fun. But, unless you're a wrestling historian whose an expert and a fan of 70s/80s wrestling and/or the USWA, I really don't think that's what you think of Jerry Lawler when his name is mentioned. I know him primarily for his color commentary work, which frankly isn't bad at all in the grand scheme of things and for the time. Personally, however, it's hard for me to really enjoy his commentary without cringing all the damn time. Again, I get it of the time and our sensibilities have drastically changed since then, but that really isn't an excuse. Believe it or not, I really don't wanna hear an old ass man talking about women in the most perverted, disgusting way possible, mentioning he likes them younger and getting horny whenever any woman enters the ring even for a second. Not to mention all the weird shit he's said asides from being perverted. Do I need to mention the Chinese hospital line from the 2000 edition of the Royal Rumble? And of course, the big allegation from the early 90s that while he didn't get convicted of, a lot of the information around it really makes him absolutely suspect in my opinion. That, and his feud with Micheal Cole was shit. I just can't stand him."

She makes the Match of The Year every year since 2019. Unfortunately she had to forfeit her Red Belt due an injury last year and after almost five months she returned in feb 2024. She was the MVP of 2023 and won others important awards. Her charisma is unmatch, she is the best on mic, she's very polish in ring and her move set is one of the best, she's funny, her ability to tell stories is unreal, she's cute, definitely the full package. Tam is a babyface but she can have some heel vibes which made her very interesting, she can look at you with cute eyes and the next second she has murderer eyes on you. She achieved all her goals in Stardom, won the White Belt two times and the Red Belt one time and became the number one of the company, so is hard to see what motivation she still has since she's almost 36yo. But the fact is Cosmic Angels is growing in numbers right now, I believe she gonna make her faction stronger than ever and then retire. So we have to enjoy the moments we still have to watch one the most talents wrestlers in Stardom history."

[8.0] "Tough, hard-nosed brawler and an excellent technician. He was never much of an upper-card guy but he was a staple of the mid-card where he was able to have some great match-ups with the likes of Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Steve Regal and Bret Hart. He had a really solid move-set that displayed stiff strikes, great technical skills and also had the ability to sell and take offense well. His career in America doesn't quiet do justice to how good he was as he briefly held the WCW World Television Champion in 1998 and the WWE United States Title in 2006 with both reigns capping at around 40 days. He gave back to the business in a big way with his work in training female talent like Trish Stratus, Victoria and Molly Holly and was always a huge proponent for the women backstage, he was just an all-around great worker."

[10.0] "As Danielson himself said in a promo about a year ago, Bret Hart clearly did not have the foresight when he called himself "the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be". Because as much as I love Bret Hart, and I really do love Bret Hart, the plucky tiny vegan from Aberdeen, WA stands as, quite simply, the greatest professional wrestler of all time. This isnt an exaggeration; people were saying this in 2002, when Danielson was barely old enough to buy a beer after working a show, and ever since then he has gone from strength to strength. It is no surprise that he was consistently one of the most over talents during his WWE from the moment he set foot in Stamford to the time he left ten years later. A man that is so full of heart that the fans would, and did, riot for him if he didnt get the respect he deserves. A man who dragged me back into watching professional wrestling with the Miracle on Bourbon Street. A man who broke all our hearts when he had to retire, and made us cry tears of joy when he was cleared; I still get goosebumps at the crowd in Dallas pointing to the WrestleMania sign for him. But Danielson is not a man to rest on his laurels. He couldve been content to phone it in for the rest of his career, coasting on a Legend Pop until he was an old man. But instead, he re-invented himself as one of the most despicable heels in the WWE, playing his part in elevating Kofi Kingston to get the respect HE deserves to. And even after that, he puts on masterpiece after masterpiece, such as the AJ Styles match in the middle of the pandemic. His move to AEW gave him another career renaissance; freed from the mores of PG television, he can spread his wings and turn back the clock fifteen years, and he does so in marvellous fashion. His matches against Page, Omega, Okada, and Sabre Jr. are modern-day masterpieces, and who can forget his 65-minute banger with MJF? A master technician, no slouch on the mic, and selfless in his promotion of others, future generations will surely look back and envy us for being able to see the American Dragon in his prime."

I really liked her gimmick and i felt like there was a place for her with Riley. Maryse was with Ted D. Jr. at the time. So why not have her Miz and Riley in a storyline. Miz hits on her and tries to steal her from Riley but he ultimately beats miz for her. They could've even bamboozled everyone and had him dump her after that, saying he saw her true colors. Instead, they called her up on ECW and made her a backstage interviewer, odd. I feel like they were looking for an excuse to shove her somewhere while her contact expires..."

sarahlicity wrote about CM Punk:
[8.0] "This is a hard rating to make, because for a long time, Punk was one of my favourite wrestlers, and, like many of his fellow RoH Golden Age alumni (see also: Joe, Danielson), the template for what a wrestler in the 2000s should be. But at some point, possibly in the twilight of his famous 434-day title run, the shine of the industry started to decline for Punk, and it started to show. The 434-day title run, after all, showed that Punk was at the top of the game and a money machine for WWE, but Vince had to be Vince, and he didn't capitalise fully on that. It wasn't just sour grapes that Dwayne was in the main event of WrestleMania, after all; like many champions before and since who weren't the Anointed One (see also: Foley, Edge, Rollins...) Punk was an afterthought. And at some point after WrestleMania XXIX, you can see the enthusiasm leave his body in real time. Maybe if he stuck to his retirement in 2014, he could've gone out on the moral high ground and his legacy as the Best in the World would be secure. But then he came back, and we thought all was well. Certainly, the first couple of feuds to shake off the ring rust gave us hope. But as Nolan's Harvey Dent once said, you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. The justified bitterness to the corporate suits in WWE turned to his fellow wrestlers, and, to turn a phrase, he became everything he despised; a Cubs man turning into the New York Yankees. A man who paved the way in cutting shoot promos started getting upset when people would cut them against him. His narcissism backstage ballooned to the point that if you weren't 100% behind him, then you were effectively banned from appearing on the same TV show. And at the same time, the magic in the ring was noticeably absent. Maybe the industry advanced without him, because he clearly didn't have the spark he once had. And, of course, we have to mention Brawl Out and Brawl In. Look, if there's backstage problems, and one man is at the centre of all of them, then maybe that one man is the problem. Even if he was goaded by others, he's older than all of them and therefore should really be the wiser man. So with nowhere to go to, he jumps the shark and goes back to the company who made him wrestle half to death before unceremoniously firing him on his wedding day. Granted, McMahon's fall from grace might've smoothed over the cracks, but they're still visible, and I think I'd have more respect for this iteration if he just admitted that. At the end of the day, the CM should never stand for "company man", which is what he is in 2024, with the Voice of the Voiceless we grew up loving far away in the rear view mirror. Punk still holds a special place in my heart, which is why it pains me to give him a rating lower than a 10, but I still have to be realistic, he's just not the same guy he was."

He started off as a rising talent who unfortunately got sidelined by a major injury that ordinarily would have taken others years to fully recover and gain heat back from. Instead Hirata was able to strike gold almost immediately with GO HIRATA GO! , one of the best tribute gimmicks I think Ive ever seen in its beginnings . However, when he really starts to form is after he records his own Tokyo GO theme, with the glasses becoming a focal part of all his matches. No matter if its a tiny venue or Korakuen Hall or even the Tokyo Dome, Hirata always gives it 100% and leaves me loving it the whole time. He arguably hit his peak in 2023 with winning the DDT Extreme title in an awesome three way, and he had probably the best reign ever with it that only just came to a tragic end. Some of my favorite matches of his are probably vs Hiromu Takahashi at Ultimate Party, vs Hikaru Machida in an incredibly underrated contest at SUPER MAX BUMP, and his many contests against Yoshihiko."

Had a tear on the face of when he debuted in AEW then after a decade in Chicago he came back after saying he wouldnt ever again. His growing stage and him making his way to the bottom to the top and from ROH, TNA , IWC and continuation of his run in the independent scenes then making his way to WWE from the years of 05-07. When he was in the top tier moments of his WWE run, the man was never talked about, never in the headlines, conferences or anything of that nature. Hes the voice of the voiceless for a reason, one of the best wrestlers, mic workers, storyteller, even on commentary, nobody can touch him lol. For anyone who also blames and puts him listed as a bad person and a problem starter, the mans been getting stepped on and published as this evil, egotistical, non respectable asshole when he gets no respect as the vet he is and all the head of relations in AEW aka the EVPs. Made him snap and they all caused the whole brawl, punk & omega werent the issues, they just had to get involved. The man never had anything of issues in his time in WWE prior to everything to happen in the future, we wouldve heard a report or video on it but we never got anything of that because he aint not problem starter. One Of The Fucking Goats, deserves more respect on his name, and if you dont like me saying all this, well, the truth hurts, and the truths painful"

Firstly, he has a match that has been rated 5 stars by the observer, and becoming an FMW legend, both things Kurt Angle has never been able to achieve. Secondly, his attire was absolutely trailblazing in every regard. Bald, goatee, chain, vest, Jean shorts, knee brace. I want you to make me ONE other wrestler who has ever done it like that. FURTHERMORE, Horace achieved the impossible feat of powerbombing Kidman while never falling to the charms of Torrie Wilson. Even with this, he still found time to Take Care of Bollea so to speak and fight the dastardly New Blood in a battle royal of insurmountable odds on Thunder. Would Omega ever do something like that for the Elite? All in all, I think enough has been said."

[] "Will come back and actually rate this when I have the privileges, but Honda is perhaps the most underrated worker in all of the Japanese scene, if not the wider independent circuit. Though most who are aware of him know him as a ChocoPro and DDT mainstay since the early days of both companies, Honda has done countless independently produced shows and works a shockingly consistent schedule for being in his late-40s. Even since the beginning of his career Honda has been an incredible comedic foil to any of the more serious acts he is facing, with even his earliest Ironman Heavymetalweight battle royals being easily rewatchable. Despite not knowing English, Hondas standard routine translates excellently, whether there is an English commentator or not. But besides his excellent comedy and hijinks with Gongitsune, he is an incredibly capable grappler and had a phenomenal match for the KO-D title with Dick Togo where I really believe they should have pulled the trigger on him as a main even talent. Regardless, hes been able to stay consistently over with the crowds with his knee pain, phallic fox stories, singing, falling, and bionic elbows, and Im very glad he has been afforded a title and put back into a featured slot with Chris Brookes."

A great manager and promoter who was fantastic on the mic has turned onto an immature bigoted asshole who just hates on pretty much anything because he's so focused on the old days. I totally get the perspective of trying to keep some form of realism in professional wrestling, but to cry bloody murder because of comedy wrestling or wrestling these days has more high flying and whatnot is just absurd. Not only that, he's misogynistic and a massive racist. Comments about Joshi wrestling is the biggest example in terms of the latter. The most recent heinous thing he has done is his comments about the Janel Grant allegations and lawsuit from earlier this year. Regardless of it being confirmed or not, you don't fucking make jokes about that shit."

[4.0] "I can't deny that he is one of, if not the most important wrestler in the WWE history. He is what put the company on the map, helping with the the Rock n' Wrestling Connection of the early 80s, making WrestleMania a big deal, having some legendary matches between people like Andre the Giant and Macho Man Randy Savage, hell he even made The Ultimate Warrior actually look decent for once. He's also very important in WCW history, adding such a massive name into the NWO storyline for instance. He was overly charismatic, had a great image, and if it wasn't for Hulk Hogan, wrestling wouldn't be as popular as he is now. But... that's kind of where it ends for me in terms of the positives. For starters, he wasn't that good of a wrestler. Granted, he wasn't bad. He can put on a good match depending on the wrestler he is fighting with, and if he was wrestling in Japan he did put in a little more effort. But overall, he was more known for putting on some bad matches unless said opponent was a good ring general, or there was enough smokes and mirrors to make him specifically look good. Secondly, he is the prime example of a politician behind the scenes, ruining so many main events and pushes for other wrestlers, constant burials and fucking over anyone that rubs him the wrong way. "That doesn't work for me brother, " is a popular saying in the wrestling community for a reason, because that's quite literally what he did. He also loved to fill the roster full of his best friends and associates that frankly no one wanted to see, especially in WCW and TNA. The latter is a special example, because his power in TNA almost effectively killed the promotion. He's also a massive liar. I can't even begin to showcase all the examples of the times he has lied. Good examples include saying he only ever used his creative powers during the dreadful Bash at the Beach 2000 debacle, which is obvious bullshit, as well as saying the Undertaker injured him by spiking him with a piledriver, which is also bullshit. And of course, the steroid scandal. Kind of hard to lie about how often you take steroids in a live interview when the evidence is as clear as day. Then there is all the small lies that he has said, like saying he hanged out with certain people or that certain people were hulkamaniacs even though they were dead before Hulkamania became a big thing, or saying he worked more days in a year than there is in a year with the excuse that he would have to fly to Japan so often. It's pretty much impossible to take anything he says legitimately. And of course, there is the real scummy shit outside of the ring. Biggest example was him saying racist shit during that sex tape that everyone knows, and then excusing it saying he didn't know he was being filmed and that he used to say that all the time in the neighborhood when he was a kid. Another big example was him helping with union busting in the 80s. And then there is all the allegations that have never been fully proven, which I won't get into here. These days, he just feels like a massive leech that WWE is more than willing to have him suck on them simply because his name still gets him money, despite his reputation. Important wrestling figure, but one of my least favorite."

I've always thought she was the better of the two so seeing her have a solo run would be cool and I'd be interested to see where she could go. She's also one of those people that are most likely always going to be a face, but if she were to turn heel, with or without Kayden, I think that could elevate her to a new level and make her character more interesting."

Sticking with wrestling here though, I can say that he was a character that was incredibly over and had an amazing look, and back in the day he wasn't too bad of a wrestler depending on his opponent. Things mostly fell a part more and more as time went on, however. He is a part of some of the worst and most deplorable fucking (literally) stories I have seen in professional wrestling. Katie Vick needs no introduction, the shit with Lita needs no introduction. Asides from those decrepit pieces of shit are just the straight up bad storylines, like being a part of the Authority. He had some good feuds too, especially with his kayfabe brother the Undertaker. It's just a shame they had no chemistry at all, and that feud became a little over the top (at least in the perspective of cheesy horror it works, and doesn't involve necrophilia or sexual assault). At least Hell No was good. Really, the best way to describe him was that he was one of the most notable characters to come out of the Attitude Era, a certain improvement from fake Diesel and Yankem, but he is also the epitome of bad booking, and the shit that WWE dribbled out in the 2000s thanks to Vince."

She elevated both Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to heights they hadn't ever seen since. Aside from his size and his popularity, there is nothing to be worth praising about his entire wrestling run. He moves very slowly, and his matches are simply mediocre. No matches whatsoever to be recommended as most of his matches are awful and boring to watch. As a babyface, he is simply terrible. Not because of the enormous stature, he would be less interesting as most of the wrestlers in the 70s and 80s. So far, I appreciate his heel run back in 1987 and somewhat a little bit of improvement from his horrendous babyface run. His only notable points of his career are his feud with Killer Khan and Hulk Hogan, which is both mediocre sad to say. Although they considered him a folk hero by some, Andre is not even a decent wrestler as what most of the revisionists and loyalists think.
