[7.0] "He's very athletic. I've watched a bunch of his matches, from Walter, to Omega, to Dunn. One thing that some of these guys do that makes it hard for me to put them up there at the top is no-selling. There's too many instances where he gets hit, puts his head down, and when whoever he's facing runs to the ropes it's like he never got hit at all and he charges them. I've been a wrestling fan since Hogan and Warrior and Rude and King Haku. If big hits don't register, I immediately think "this is fake". Years later today, I grew up obviously and I know it's all fake, but don't try to convince me it's real by doing fake things like no-selling. If you want the audience to buy your "work", sell like it's real."

[7.0] "Although The Undertaker has earned his legacy, he spent at least a decade putting out shitters. This was almost entirely down to the way he had to wrestle as Taker. The slow, zombie-like style in his matches prevented him from showing off his impressive power at his full potential, resulting in most of his matches being boring. Once he dropped the slow methodical offense, his style got much better, with his in-ring heights in the 2000s being phenomenal, pardon the pun. His promos were never that good, but he was so dedicated to his character that he made it work most of the time. Don't watch his in-ring work after the Hell in a Cell match with Lesnar, you'll just make yourself sad."

[7.0] "Man, this guy has had a great career. During his WCW days he was very good and was more risqué in regards to what he does in the ring and what he allowed people to do to him. Going from WCW to WWE was the best decision he ever made, they really reeled him in and didn't allow him to take wild bumps nor bumps from the smaller guys. He clearly had some issues during the late 90s and early 2000s, and despite their efforts to put him on TV, he was a little stop and start with his stuff. Finally got his act together and really excelled as a giant from 02 until the mid-late 2010s. Had a lot of good moments, some decent matches... I mean, anybody going to a WWE event and expecting Big Show to put on a 5 star instant classic would be kidding themselves. Can't really blame him for the constant babyface/heel turns but he did well all things considering. He should've seriously packed it up after the "match" with Drew McIntyre. It's sad to see the state he's in now, the guy shouldn't be anywhere near a wrestling ring again."

If he improved on his strikes or just focused on chain-wrestling/submissions more (Which he does well in) I can see him shooting up the card."

[7.0] "Where Rip Oliver truly shines is his proficient use of body language. This guy had a very great selling style and there's alotta "little things". The bleached blonde mop top with the brown beard was a memorable heel look. Kept in good shape but maintained the heel "barrel torso" accent to boot. Good looking shoulder breaker. Great work in tags because he always had the timing thing down quite well. Always a gem in Portland. Very good stuff in World Class during late 84/85. Just a tackling dummy when employed by Vince. 7.25 rounded up."

Some of the best hair in wrestling history. Confident promo, solid work, and kept in fantastic condition; I love a white meat babyface like this, I don't mind painting within the lines. The team with Terry Gordy was more fun than it had any right to be. Flaws? He was *extra* petite in the late 80's (was the size of a mop and with the hair, looked the part) and never left Texas. 6.5"

[7.0] "I hope the Von Erichs were kissing this guy's butt and lining his pockets every possible turnaround because he hung around during THE most tumultuous and talent-void time in all of World Class. He wasn't large or even medium but he still seemed like he belonged. He would have definitely been enhancement talent elsewhere but in WCCW he was given years to shine. I must mention the hair, Jimmy Garvin's only true competition. He was completely adored by the fans and wrestled at a usually fast pace to keep excitement levels up. He also gave fans a reason to care, because he stuck around when most wrestlers would only stay for a few weeks or months (the payoffs there were crap because Fritz was greedy). He certainly made the most of what he had and was one of the few pillars of WCCW."

[7.0] "Chavo was arguably one of the bigger stars on Smackdown during the 2000s, along with Eddie, Chris, Edge, Rey, Angle and Taker. While Chavo was definitely the weaker of the bunch, he had his fair share of excellent matches, especially teaming alongside Eddie Guerrero in Los Guerreros. As a singles competitor he was pretty average, but good. Sometimes he would be given pretty terrible gimmicks however like Kerwin White for example. While Chavo never quite had the charisma or in-ring ability of his older brother, he could still hold his own, entertain and put on quality matches."

[7.0] "Many people question as to why he is in the hall of fame, since he wasn't ever really a top guy and to people outside of the Golden Era don't really see him and think one of the greats. The thing is though, if you actually look him up, he was honestly pretty good, just was working during a time where someone like him didn't really belong in terms of his style of wrestling (gimmick wise oh he definitely fit). Charisma wise he was fucking excellent, he was a good worker, and most importantly, Frankie is one of the best birds in professional wrestling. But I think what got him in the hall of fame is Piledriver. Dude, he's quite literally the highlight of The Wrestling Album II, because he sang his fucking heart out."

I liked him in tag team in WCW, but my favorite Rikishi monster is as a monster heel in 2000, when there was Armageddon and he was a legit contender to the WWF Title. He had some trouble with weird gimmick in the middle '90s but after becoming Rikishi it was fine for him. I enjoy his babyface team with Scotty 2 Hotty and his dance moves after a match. Also, Stinkface is a fantastic babyface move that has been copied from many others."

[7.0] "Given how much shit certain wrestling fans, including live crowds have given Paul Wight/Big Show in the past, I was surprised to find out that his score on here wasn't low and actually what I think he should be around. Paul is definitely one of the most, if not the most talented giant wrestler in Pro Wrestling history. He was sometimes slow in the ring, but I don't expect him to wrestle fast and for his size, he did a good job and was very strong and believable whenever he delivered his 'knockout punch' towards opponents, which they often sold very well. He turned face and heel a lot during the years, so much so that he has more turns than John Cena wears different color shirts in one year. He fit way more as a heel than a face, but was likeable as both. As I said in the beginning of this review, "fans" have not treated Paul so well over the years, with some crowds chanting obscene things at Paul, which I'm not going to mention such chants because it's just wrong and not cool whatsoever. I know he's coming into his later years and he may retire sometime soon, if so, I wish Paul the best in his future and a thank you for him being entertaining over the years."

[7.0] "Sami Zayn isnt Mick Foley, yet that is who probably who he most closely resembles when discussing why he is over and why his rating is so high. Like Mick they both wore a mask before before ditching it to be just a bearded dumpy guy with mousy hair that people love to root for. Both Sami and Mick are known for their mic skills, character development, and storyline emphasis in their performances. Indeed, Sami is above average on the mic and is completely at home telling a story with this art form. However, while Mick Foley's introspective searches for deeper meaning behind his wanton violence as both the Cactus Jack and Mankind characters was pioneering, it comes off as bloated and overindulgent with Sami. What is arguably considered his best work during the Bloodline story arch was simply a heavy handed re-hashing of Mick's role as spoiler to the Rock's cool persona in their "Rock and Sock Connection" pairing. For the length of the story arch the formula was the same; the bloodline attempted to project theire power as a stable through their somber backstage tribal coucils or in-ring promos and Sami would inevtiably undercut Reigns leadership with mocking loyalty. Later, Sami would implore the viewer to take it seriously when he had his big close up, when it was time to reveal the true meaning behind his goofy interjection into their family; he was helping them out of an abusive relationship. Its great writing if you like the more serious side of Adam Sandler's filmography, the sad clown. He's not a bad worker by any means and deserves a higher rating than most on his work rate alone, but, his skill lies more in his ability to take moves than it is to give them. Like Foley he sells very well, absorbs most of the bumps in a match and is incredible at putting over his opponent in that way. However, at his best offensively he's a PWG showcase guy; all homage and high spots. Put him in a match with Owens, Adam Cole, or anyone else of that style and he's probably going to give you a good show if you'd like to see someone kick out of 4 consectutive Canadian Destroyers. Ultimately, Sami has a lot like Mick but doesnt touch the heights of Mick. There is no Hell in the Cell equivalent for Sami, there is no infamy of a Kawasaki Deathmatch for Sami, and certainly not a World Championship like Mick."

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes is a good example of reinvigorating a career. In his early WWE days, he wasn't on the right track and had multiple character and gimmick changes and wasn't over with the crowd as much, it didn't help that many fans viewed him as a "freeloader". Eventually, he left WWE and did a fresh restart on the indies, co-founded a wrestling promotion with Tony Khan, and did a good job at making a career renaissance. Cody would return to WWE in 2022 and although the rumors sparked some criticism within the wrestling community, it was 100% the right call and he became the most over wrestler in wrestling and became the face of WWE in just a few months. He managed to stay over despite losing to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 39 and had some good moments like his feud with Brock Lesnar, forming an alliance with the also over Jey Uso, and still getting massive positive crowd reactions. His story came to a high point at Wrestlemania 40 where he would beat Roman Reigns in the main event in what was one of the greatest modern Wrestlemania moments in history, up there with Kofi Kingston winning at WM 35 and Daniel Bryan winning at WM 30. Before 2022, It was unclear of whether Cody Rhodes would go into the WWE Hall Of Fame in the future, but I think he's already solidified himself as a future first ballot Hall Of Famer."

[7.0] "Jake Perry is very good in the ring, that's undeniable. It can be fast, technical and sometimes brutal. He even has the psychology when it comes to it, only the problem has always been outside the ring. Long teamed up with Luchasaurus, he hides his weaknesses with a great duo and a facial aura that you want to support until the end of his rivalry with Christian. Unfortunately with Christian's injury the rivalry was longer than expected which didn't help Jake Perry to go solo but after that without a duet with him, his too smooth side was quickly seen and gave him a bland side while he is still excellent in the ring. That's what I thought until his heel turn, I'm one of the people who loved the way it was done and I loved his heel character in AEW before the problem with Cm Punk. Arrogant and believing himself to be very superior, enhanced by his deliberately pedantic entrance theme, plus his outfit where he was showing off, it was great but we never got to see more because of you know what. On the other hand I must say that I really like his time in NJPW, always arrogant mixed with a character feeling betrayed and put in the position of scapegoat. Obsessed by it, he is more careful to provoke the fans than to win matches because he is too obsessed with his own truth. It works and he gets heel reactions. There is real potential to be explored in the hope that it will not end up going in circles."

[7.0] "I'm surprised that Jey Uso has found his groove and has somehow gotten over with fans, helps when you have a good catchphrase and align yourself with top talents on RAW. Jey's got some good moves that he uses and can get a crowd behind him well. With how he's gotten over, it might be safe to say that he's a future world title holder, which although I think he's better in the upper mid-card, I wouldn't be against it considering there have been much worse wrestlers to be world champions in the past 10 years. Jey is miles ahead of his brother Jimmy at this moment in time, nothing is clicking for his brother whatsoever being a lackey in the bloodline and regressing in the ring. Jey gets a respectable 7."

TNA started getting better in 2018 after D'Amore and Callis took over and I wonder how Roode would've contributed. His NXT run was great but his main roster run wasn't. That was the standard for that era. NXT was light years ahead of the main roster and it was incredibly rare for the main ppv to be better than the Takeover the night before. He has the swagger of a potential top guy and adequate mic skills that looks like is improving all the time. I would say that his finisher needs to be changed or at least done on special occasions, since everyone knows what the prolonged use of a leg drop does to the human body(Matt Hardy and Hulk Hogan are unfortunate examples of this). Rumors say that his time in NXT is coming to a close and if that's true, hats off to him for his amazing work during his tenure as 2x North American champ and NXT champ. [8.0] "Jay White is one of the best heels not just in NJPW but in the entire pro-wrestling today. His work is truly dedicating, and his character makes you truly despised him. Although most of his matches are average in NJPW standards, he is not the type of guy who uses flashy moves and more likely most of his arsenal of moves are heelish. Jay also has a great in-ring psychology as seen in most of his matches acting like a sadistic and sociopathic villain. His time as a Bullet Club member made him a main event star in NJPW and fought the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi. Safe to say that being a heel in NJPW is what saved him from his career, as they had a lot of babyfaces there in NJPW. A lot of people including me may think that Jay White is the "final boss" because during his time, he is the most stand out heel in NJPW. Unfortunately, upon signing with AEW, he is just another guy that Tony Khan signs as his "flex" and still doesn't have a defining moment a year after he signed but let's see in the future on what to do with him. More so, my basis of this rating is his time in NJPW with a little impact on AEW, although his time in AEW doesn't affect my rating very much due on how little his time there. Jay White resembles a comic book villain come to life. Amazing dark and edgy character."

She comes out to the ring looking like the literal definition of "cool" and then she opens her mouth and it's a bunch of mush-mouthed, rambling nonsense. Like IDK if she has a speech impediment or what but she doesn't know how to en-un-ci-ate any of her words and seems to lose a lot of that cool confidence when cutting a promo. And it sucks too because generally she's exceptional in the ring and is capable of putting on a good match with just about anyone. This glaring contrast between her in-ring and mic work combined with her inability to remain healthy and poor attitude backstage makes a 7.5 a fair rating for me. I'll go ahead and round up in recognition for her status as the most successful Black woman in the history of pro wrestling."

He had 5 star matches with John Cena, Randy Orton and Undertaker. His in ring psychology is among one of the best and he has tons of charisma. He deserves to be as over as he is but if anything goes against him it's his attitude. CM Punk is very hotheaded and at times just a total jerk, sometimes for seemingly no reason like his beef with Elijah Burke. He also ruined a part of his legacy by going to the UFC to try and do what Brock did except failing miserably two times in a row before retiring, and I was rooting for him as a wrestling fan to win those matches."

[8.0] "Oof, the current rating for Jade Cargill is REALLY harsh. I'm editing this review from my September 2022 rating where I previously gave Jade a 6. I honestly admire Jade. She has the potential to be WWE's top 2-4 biggest stars in the women's division. She carries herself like a big star, and she has a great physique/height that'll always make her a legitimate threat to the rest of the women's division. I think she's solid enough in the ring against the right opponents. I've seen Jade Cargill have good matches against Kris Statlander, Taya Valkyrie (aka their 2nd match), Anna Jay (aka their 1st match) and Thunder Rosa. Her wrestling is easily her one weakness, but she's a solid enough worker who can hang in the ring with better wrestlers. Jade oozes charisma since she's able to connect with various crowds, and she's such a cool dominant badass that makes it easy for us to be enamored by her presence. Jade is solid enough on the mic. HEr promos are generally best when it's short and sweet because her actions speak much louder than her words. Plus, Jade is arguably the hottest woman in the company; so that's just another big bonus going for her. Jade is just Her. She fits perfectly in WWE, and hopefully she continues to improve in the ring. Overall, Jade definitely gets an 8 from me. She's criminally underrated on this site."

Despite his negatives which is the fact that he's been a part-timer for most of his reign (after hypocritically calling John Cena 'a part-timing fake ass bitch'), his promo skills are overrated, repetitive and uninteresting, his getting lazy in his matches and offering the bare minimum in the ring, his predictability, he's been the most overly protected and catered top guy of all time, having taken him 5 years to finally click with the wrestling world, etc... despite all of that, he has given us tons of memories and created countless moments throughout his career while elevating his counterparts to superstardom by telling great stories. He has truly made it as a guy we will remember forever. While he cannot compete with the icons that came before him like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, The Undertaker and more, and he can't touch Hulk Hogan's unreachable impact, he has truly been the one and only top star of his generation, or as he once called himself 'THE Guy'."

[8.0] "Wrestlers who thrive in hardcore, deathmatches or garbage wrestling is an automatic negative to me. People like Nick Gage, Atsushi Onita, John Zandig and Necro Butcher, crazy I know them, knows nothing in the technical aspect of wrestling. Even older guys like Terry Funk, The Sheik and Abdullah the Butcher. I just simply hate this kind of wrestling or whatever you called it. However, Mick Foley is an exemption on this. He uses this kind of environment as a gimmick and not as a kind of wrestling style that he holds on for the rest of his career. He could be technically sounding and flashy and that's how he is different from most of hardcore/ECW/CZW wrestlers. In ring, he is a storyteller, he wouldn't perform moves that is out of the story. One thing I admire him the most is his passionate mic skills. He sounded convincing and makes us believe on what he says. Many people tried to copy his style in terms of in-ring and promo abilities, but Mick outshines them all. His willingness to take excruciating damage on his body and almost try to risk his life for the sake of value and memory. One thing I remember vividly about him is his match with the Undertaker in Hell in a Cell, still the most talked about match 25-26 years passed. No doubt Mick provides us moments that he is even willing to take risky bumps that most of his peers couldn't do. His durability, his toughness and his passion are a testament on how great Mick Foley was on his heyday. His three faces of Foley (Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind) gave equal amount of exposure in the wrestling business and only Mick could provide three alter egos that haven't been stale and worn out after all these years. Truly a legend in the business and one of the most respected performers in wrestling history."

[8.0] "Disregarding what could be said about Dwayne Johnson as an actor or businessman (and that could be a lot, much of it not great) I think it should be said that The Rock is probably the wrestler who affected the business the most in the shortest amount of time. His full-time era in WWF/E barely lasted 5 years, and he's worked 15 matches since losing the title to Lesnar in 2002. Rock still somehow managed to be one of the most iconic and well-known pro wrestlers on a global scale just by tapping into a natural charisma that just can't be replicated, no matter how much WWE wanted to find someone who could when he was away. Is he a great worker? Honestly, not particularly. His work from Rocky Maivia into his early Nation Rock days is mediocre, his 2010s matches & 2024 match were carried heavily by his aura and his opponents, and in his hottest era his best matches are almost all plunder brawls or character-driven story matches, but that was the style of that era and so he thrived. There's a reason his catchphrases are numerous and quoted decades later, there's a reason every time his music hits the crowd explodes, there's a reason he's managed to have 3 of his 15 matches since going part time be Mania main events, and that's because he just demands attention. The modern Bloodline Rock is channeling his memorable Hollywood Rock era, an era that lasted all of three months at the tail end of his original run when he already had a toe dipped in Hollywood and yet generated like 30% of his best moments. After all this time, especially with the Twice In A Lifetime run being so middle of the road, it's nice to see that Dwayne still has The Rock in him like that, even if it took a Black Adam flop-induced midlife crisis. This 8 is because I don't know if he could've thrived how he did in any other company in any other era, but having a right-place right-time lightning in a bottle kind of fit like he was for WWF is worth something."
