Barretta likes his best friends, he has no ill-will for Chuck Taylor his long time tag team partner, he loves Rocky Romero as Roppongi Vice, he dont rate Wheeler Yuta personally but respect him. After 2 decades of climbing, hitting the sexy chuckie knee on O.C who he must hate so bad than he grew more ambition to be the most versatile heavyweight in All Elite Wrestling, now the best. Product of the NYCPW school among rival Dan Barry. From Plazma, 2 percent. From Greg Jackson 4 percent. From FCWs The girl from Mexico 6 percent. Local Indy guy Greg little percent. From Trent? , 50 percent. Beretta 59 percent, Trent Barretta 80 percent. Trent! Barretta 100 percent and ready to get morels cut enough. He is ripped, massive, brick house and very damn good in the ring! He likes his best friends but not shading in someone elses shadow. It is his time and in being damn sure prepared to become someone else."

He made it to the top for a reason, he knows how to convey what's going on int he moment while also bringing his own personality into his commentary. In my opinion, his work with Jerry Lawler holds up just as well as the work he is doing today."

[9.0] "One of, if not THE best technical wrestlers ever. I'm personally not a fan, but it'd be silly to have my personal feelings cloud his ability as a professional wrestler. One thing I will say, his whole appearance doesn't do him any favours... he's very lanky and has zero muscle, which is just not exactly great to look at. Mic work is ok, not rubbish but he's far from being great. Glad he never stayed in WWE, he is far better suited in NJPW. I do think his overall style as a technical wrestler is what will prevent him from being a true ace or top guy in a promotion, it's not suited for casual fans of wrestling and only real die-hard fans can appreciate what he's capable of doing."

[9.0] "Modern day Triple H in my eyes. The guy has EVERYTHING (well, almost everything.) From his early days as The Chosen One you could just tell he was going to be a big star, his career really fell off a few years later though and he got dumped into 3MB with Slater and Jinder... which is just crazy when you think about it now. Best thing that ever happened to McIntyre was getting released back then, the guy just did a complete 180 and turned himself into a huge star. Great in-ring, fantastic on the mic, has an incredible look that really stands out above the rest of the guys. Not a fan of the whole sword thing though... I feel like there's a way to do it much better, it just looks pretty silly bringing out a sword, perhaps he needs to wear something other than a kilt whilst coming out with the sword. He isn't capable of having "5 star matches" though, he's very good in-ring but he just doesn't have the ability to really put on an absolute clinic. Doesn't mean anything really, only a select few can do that and as of right now you could count on one hand the amount of male & female wrestlers who are able to put on 5 star matches regularly."

Me personally, I fully respect everything he's accomplished but wasn't a big fan of his in-ring work in the 2nd half of his career, I know that wasn't entirely his fault in the later years of WCW but in TNA he was already past him prime and couldn't go as well. Props to AEW for giving him a heroic final run and letting him go out in style. We salute you Sting."

[9.0] "[8.9] GUNTHER (or WALTER, depending on your preference) is the definition of a 'big fucking star'. In every promotion he has been in, he immediately feels like the biggest deal there (often so much so that it's to the detriment of whoever happens to be top dog before him.) His moveset is very simple, but extremely effective. It's not controversial to say that he has the best chops in wrestling right now, plus he feels like he can end a match on literally any move. Promos used to be a weak point for him, but he's significantly improved over the past year or two, making him one of the few wrestlers where it's hard to find a single weak point. He's one of the few wrestlers who I could actually stomach holding a title for over a thousand days, and that is saying something."

He's just a wrestler that feels endlessly watchable. The type of guy that while I get not loving, I can't imagine disliking. It's some bs that I have to write 500 characters to leave a good rating for the man. Has also coached a lot of cool folks like Irving West so even outside of his matches he's left a positive impact on the graps"

[9.0] "Kaito Kiyomiya rivals the best wrestlers in the world right now, there is no question in my mind about that. Hes essentially the perfect Puro baby face and the fact he's been booked this poorly is a perfect example of NOAHs issues currently. He really channels the idea of fighting spirit, he has a great look and has had some of the best matches in NOAHs recent history. The fact he's only 27 and is this good is just astonishing. Hes a slight bit lower than someone like Nakajima simply due to the odd poor match when against certain opponents and just not quite having ascended to that perfect level, but Ive no doubt Ill be revisiting this to give him a 10 down the line."

[9.0] "Shibata is a product of a bygone era. Straight shooter and hard hitter, something Inoki absolutely loved back in the day. I can't really rank him based on his AEW stuff as I haven't gone out of my way to watch it, but in regards to his NJPW and NOAH stuff... man this guy was a BEAST. He was just so exciting to watch because he was a legit badass. Whilst a lot of the Japanese wrestlers are incredibly athletic and tough, Shibata was just on an entirely different level. When you watched him, wrestling felt REAL, and I'm sure it was to the guys who were taking those kicks, elbows and heabutts. In the end however, Shibata was his own worst enemy. Doing all this heavy hitting stuff is a joy to watch, but it eventually had a price to pay. That infamous headbutt to Okada was just... too much. Shibata was already a huge favourite in NJPW, people would've loved him the same if he didn't do the headbutts. I guess that's just what added to the character that is Katsuyori Shibata. Loved his work, loved the fact he was a straight shooter in the world of professional wrestling. Loved how his attire was just so simple, added so much to his character. Really happy he recovered from that headbutt injury because man... it was rough, like really rough."

[9.0] "In my opinion, the biggest megastar in all of wrestling. People would say, Hulk Hogan is the most popular WWE superstar. For me, it's Stone Cold Steve Austin. One of the pillars of the WWE's best era, the Attitude Era. One of the major guys who put the pro-wrestling on mainstream. No other wrestler can have as much drawing power as Austin. He still is the biggest merchandise seller in history. His biggest asset is his mic skills. The way he trashes talks and threatens his opponents is brutal yet cool to hear. Pre-injury he was a solid in-ring worker. After the infamous neck injury at Summerslam 1997, he relies more on his promos as his move sets are limited. Still, a pretty good brawler and the way he brawls looks like a freaking badass. Austin ushers the edgier version of WWE and became one of the most watchable shows on cable network history. One of his biggest rivalries is his fellow contemporary, The Rock. Austin and Rock in my opinion, are the biggest rivalry in the history of WWE. There are lot of copycats like Trish vs Lita, Cena vs Orton, Tanahashi vs Nakamura, but no one would match the box office rivalry of Austin vs Rock. Their rivalry truly put the Attitude Era on the map. And their matches followed-up of the call by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, they became iconic. Nowadays, I just don't like how they used Austin in WWE. He is just there if he wants to promote something or for cheap nostalgia but when his music or shattered glass SFX hits even after many years, the crowd will still pop out of it. An above average wrestler with solid fundamentals but A+ for charisma and promos."

[9.0] "Typing this a few hours after the WM 40 main event between him and Cody Rhodes. Man, Roman Reigns has come A LONG WAY since being Leakee in FCW. His WWE debut with The Shield was a perfect way to introduce him (and the other two members) into the main roster. He was really touted as THE GUY WWE would put all their stock into, and for a while it seemed like a very poor investment. From a character standpoint, the guy sucked. He was as generic as they could possibly come, no doubt this was due to Vince and the writing staff, so I can't blame Roman at all for that. WWE put him in a lot of awful positions, especially winning the Rumble when Bryan was eliminated so early on. After that point, he was booked as Cena 2.0, something which nobody wanted and it just didn't work. They really, really tried forcing him down the throats of fans but so many revolted against it. Despite all of this, Reigns was still putting on good matches and improving with each main event star he wrestled. The turning point was his heel turn in 2020, from then onwards it was just incredible storytelling and wrestling from Roman. He's far, far better suited as a heel, or just somebody who isn't a generic WWE mouthpiece that fans can see right through. Had the best WWE title run in recent memory, took on and defeated a hall of fame worthy list of challengers. Truly elevated himself into legendary status within WWE and cemented himself in wrestling history as the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era. He has come such a long way, improved so much and again, reached legendary status within WWE. Couldn't of asked for a better WWE Championship run, the guy just killed it whilst making others look strong along the way."

[9.0] "There's still time for Seth Rollins to be a 10 in my opinion, he has EVERYTHING but he just needs to have more incredible matches within the WWE. Still remember him as Tyler Black during his ROH days, the guy was very solid and clearly was going to be a star within WWE. Was very good in FCW and NXT, joining The Shield was a fantastic move but I feel like it put Moxley & Reigns above him in the fans eyes, those 2 were very good whereas Rollins, whilst still great in-ring, lacked behind them ever so slightly. Rollins turning heel and betraying Moxley & Reigns was the perfect catapult for him to be a star in WWE. The Authority was... boring, like really boring, no matter who (well, aside from Cena) was in that role would've been pretty boring to be honest. Turned it around afterwards, though he has been a little hit and miss with his gimmicks. What he's doing now is working and working really well. From an in-ring standpoint, you're going to struggle finding many that are better than him in the modern wrestling era. Charisma is off the charts, whether people like it or not he's really damn good at being this over the top guy in WWE. Again, still missing those classic matches that could elevate him into legendary status, but he's still fairly young and I can see him finishing his career being a solid 10."

The guy could go, given his size you would've thought he'd be kind of generic, but man he was anything but. WWE never gave him a chance, whilst they did kind of let him go into his own post Wyatt Family, they just never put their all into him. Having heard what Erick Rowan said about Vince not liking Brodie's accent... just goes to show they were never able to really look past that. To me, Brodie was so damn good on the mic, his accent didn't matter at all, it suited him and, in my eyes, shouldn't have even been a discussion. He wrestled like an absolute mad man, his gimmick as Luke Harper was so damn good. I never really got to see him as Brodie Lee, aside from a few little segments and the Cody match, but I liked what I saw. So sad to see a HUGE talent like Brodie Lee taken away from us so early. Had so much left to offer, was only just starting to scratch the surface as to what he's capable of doing whilst he was in AEW. Will be remembered very fondly by fans, and screw Vince for holding his accent against him. Would've been a world champion had it not been for Vince not liking the way he sounded."

[9.0] "Dean Malenko must be really jealous on Zack Sabre Jr. now, as he is the true "Man with a 1000 Holds". I couldn't fathom how many submission manuevers Zack does on his arsenal, it's truly insane. When Zack performs, he looked like a pretzel knot, and also his opponents making them pretzel knots. Zack is not a flashy guy, he is not even a highflyer, but he found a way to make the most boring wrestling style to watch the most entertaining when he's on it every match. He has a plentiful, most of Zack's submission holds doesn't even have a name on it. Sometimes, he could do 2-3 submission holds at the same time. By some matches, he could even transition 6-7 holds in a span of a minute. That's how insane Zack is. As a result, his matches are nothing more but epics and masterpieces. If someone who can match Zack's insane submission skills is none other than Bryan Danielson. Persona wise, upon first glimpse you think that he is some sort of a goody-two shoes hero because he looked like an innocent good man, but boy you are wrong. He is the most arrogant POS you will ever know in wrestling backing it up with his skills. Some of his best matches included the likes of Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson, in both are amazing wrestlers and both who have amazing chemistry with. I am still hoping for Zack to somehow win the big one, the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, and he deserved it. He is so good; I think he could also manage to survive in a real submission fight or MMA by that matter. Most of his holds are joint bending, pain excruciating and injury prone bones. He is also capable on maintaining ground and pound whatever the size of his opponents is. Zack truly is one of the greatest submission wrestlers in history of pro-wrestling and I commend him for keeping the old tradition of wrestling alive."

His in ring work was very good though his contemporaries such as Austin, Jericho, HHH, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, etc. were noticeably better than him, in particular, Jericho and Angle. Even when he wasn't in the World Title feuds, he was always a highlight especially during his RockNSock Connection run. Unfortunately, his return in 2010 wasn't something I was fond of, If it was a one off, it would have been fine but he was put in the main event WrestleMania feuds thrice in a row and it kind of felt like he took the thunder of upcoming main eventers like Punk, Sheamus, Bryan, etc. That being said, he remains one of the most beloved superstars of all time. Cornette, in his career, was arguably the greatest manager in the history of wrestling, who could run his mouth for days and always knew just how to ramp up the heat in any match or angle. As a booker, he was always the type to make the most out of the least, with a great mind for putting together angles and finishes and for getting wrestlers and feuds over. He made the very most out of the least in SMW and OVW, taking regional territories and making them worth seeking out. Not every on-screen role of his has been outstanding, his WWF tenure was hit and miss and in TNA he was involved in some questionable material, but whatever. Oh, and before I forget, I know this is a touchy subject, but his commentary is actually really good as far as getting an issue over and characterizing a matchup. All this is to say, his understanding and application of the fundamental elements of pro wrestling set him apart from everybody. The only reason that he's a controversial figure amid all the crazy people who've worked and been stars in the world of wrestling is because people are upset that he lambasts modern wrestling and cuts heel promos on the fans of same on his podcasts."

I was a Roman defender through years of atrocious creative direction because I recognized that there was something that was untapped with him. The example that always stands out to me is the night after WrestleMania 33, where it felt like the beginning of some change, but it ended up being a pump fake. It took several years, a near retirement, and a world-changing pandemic for Roman to fully reach his potential, but I am unbelievably glad that he did. While I do think his Universal Championship reign lasted too long and could no longer justify its length in its final eight months, the core of it turned him into an undeniable performer. His work elevated to a level that even I, as someone who always thought he had something, could not have possibly predicted. After being forced into a spot as "the guy" in a role that did not suit him, he finally had the reign that he always wanted and got the respect of the general fanbase, something I am sure he dreamed of. And then he put his successor over in a MASSIVE way, somehow justifying his title retention at WrestleMania 39 even though it felt terrible in the moment. A genuinely great wrestler with a great feel for what he does. When he turns babyface in the future, it has the potential to shift the industry in a way that his previous runs as a good guy never really could. I look forward to it."

He's going the Maven and Matt Cardona route right now by making content outside wrestling which IS smart. And will help him in the future for promos and what not. I hope to see him on TV again and watch him live in the indies here in Florida. He gets an 9 Edited this because he still needs to work on promo's but his in ring abilities have VASTLY improved."

Of course everyone is familiar with his modern work with AEW and his return run with WWE, but his talents were evident even at a younger age in a system that didn't view him as a premier talent. It's really a shame that just as he was coming into his own as a talent WWE forced him into the Stardust gimmick. However, that poor decision revealed Cody's best trait as a wrestler, his proactivity. He is never content with staying in the same place for too long, he is always looking to expand his horizons. One of the truly great wrestling politicians that has managed to always come out on top with everyone singing his praises on the way out. We've seen this with his request for release from WWE to his part in the creation of All In which would lead to his run with AEW before moving back to WWE as soon as it became clear that creative decisions were going in another direction. He's the son of Dusty Rhodes but, ironically enough, he's managed to become this generation's Ric Flair. A trend setter, not afraid to blaze his own trail and bounce from promotion to promotion while cementing himself as a legit main eventer and crossover star everywhere he goes."

[9.0] "Takagi is the best LIJ member in terms of match catalogue. I don't have any much idea during his time in Dragon Gate, so I am only reviewing his time in NJPW. Takagi's hybrid of powerhouse and heavy hitter makes him one of the very difficult opponents to deal and to catch up with. He had amazing matches with Tomohiro Ishii, Kazuchika Okada and most notably, Will Ospreay. Takagi always make the match better even when he faces average guys like EVIL, Taichi and Toru Yano. He is the guy who has a slew of 5-star matches because of his insane work in the ring. His mentality reminds me of a samurai and that's why I love Takagi. He respected the business very much and he is one of the guys who takes the sport very seriously. No doubt whomever opponent he pairs with, expect that you will have a great match. He had a great set of moves like the Last of the Dragon, Pumping Bomber, making his finishers very devastating. The reason why I am not giving him a full-fledge 10/10 rating is there is a little bit of holding back due to being a part of LIJ probably because they don't want to outshine Naito since he is the leader and their star. I knew that there is something Takagi still hides, maybe a darker version of Takagi perhaps. He needs to go solo or create a new faction with himself as a leader so that he can fully establish himself in NJPW, as he is the only guy that even going out of LIJ would not affect the state and career of Takagi unlike EVIL and SANADA whose careers are going nowhere. From his work in the late 80s, up until he retired in 2010, you can find matches which rival what anyone else could put on. Kawada is known as Dangerous K for a reason, he seems genuinely dangerous in the ring, laying out brutal power moves and kicks which while not always the stiffest, still somehow seem to be the best for my money. He also sells in a way quite unlike anyone else. If you watch his bouts in the early 2000s you see a man who is hurt, but never wants to show it, the selling is subtle and calculated, with Kawada often getting angry at himself for taking the damage. While he was undoubtably the perfect foil for Mitsuharu Misawa in and out of the ring, I always found him the more intriguing of the duo, both as a character and a person. Nobody draws me into a match like Kawada, nobody makes me wince like Kawada and nobody has or will ever quite do it like Kawada. Pick any year he wrestled and find some odd matches and youll undoubtedly find a hidden gem or five in there. Go out of your way to watch Dangerous K, He is the perfect 10/10 wrestler in my opinion."

Architect of the Shield, The Face of The Authority, Kingslayer, his IC title run, Beastslayer, Messiah and Drip God... all of these characters were played to a very satisfactory degree by Rollins despite of the fact that some of his time was kinda smeared by Vince Mcmahon's horrible booking in late 2010's.
