[9.0] "The Disciples Of The New Church, alongside his manager James Mitchell, had an important role on the early days of the tag team division of TNA, as their feud with America's Most Wanted was the stepping-stone for the tag team division. That feud also put on the map the team of Chris Harris and James Storm and stablish them as the top tag team of the company. Also, they were important backstage helping talent to improve on the ring, as James Storm said on an interview a few years ago. Their debut was impactful, as they destroyed AMW and went against the titles. Their first encounter was a declaration of intentions, as it set the bar for violence and bloody brawls, that were really good. They stablish themselves as the top heels and AMW as the underdogs. Soon, they won the tag team titles on a great encounter. To get it back, AMW had to fight fire with fire and play their game, being even more violent than the heels, which gave them fire and a purpose, to recapture the tag team titles, which they finally did. After the birth of SEX the New Church was disappeared for a couple of weeks, until they return to save their former rivals of an attack of Triple X, turning face and that point. They faced Triple X and Swinger & Diamond on some good matches. After that they teamed with Sandman and Perry Saturn on an 8 man tag team against some members of SEX, which lead to a feud with the Extreme Revolution and some good matches against them. Finally, they were involved on the Hard Ten tournament and on the feud between Raven and the New Church, with a good performance by Slash. After that, Brian Lee left the company, but Slash remained. It's fair to say that they are underrated as a team and that their worked was important to solidified the tag team division, cause until that time it wasn't great. Their gimmick was really cool and their bloody and violent brawls were really memorable."

[4.0] "Story time: There I was watching Clash of the Champions 7, recording it live on VHS as I sat there transfixed. When this atomic bomb of wrestlecrap dropped I was shell shocked, utterly stunned. Like a fever dream. The match kept going. This was somehow real. I watched a few more times in frozen terror, disturbed to the point of rigidness. No hyperbole. I was trying to sincerely figure out... Why? What? WHY? The second time I saw them was The Skyscrapers BRUTALLY burying them. They even ripped off the masks and Norman played around with one of them I think. That was the first time I knew I was seeing a MEGA BURIAL and the TOTAL DEATH of a gimmick. It's all so bizarre even all of these decades later. There is no sense to be made of this, it's maddeningly purposeless. I was randomly given the number "3.57" because I have no earthly clue How I would even rate this using logic. Jim Herd was a helluva drug."

I completely get why people don't like them, but I thought it was cool. It may have had real legs at a time with a thinner roster."

[10.0] "FTR is absolutely amazing. Their run as the Revival in NXT was fantastic putting on banger matches against DIY & American Alpha. Their Main Roster run was iffy, filled with bad booking and unfortunate injuries but when they made the jump to AEW they have been spectacular putting on amazing matches weekly. Their Trilogys against the Young Bucks and the Briscoes are some of the best tag team matches you will ever see. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have solidified themselves as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Gonna miss them when they retire."

[8.0] "I can only echo and reiterate: The timing was perfect, Boy Bands were all the craze and this was a dazzlingly well done parody. The look, name, music, DANCING: Top Tier WCW and we can only thank Jimmy Hart. The ring work kept your glued, the timing and pace was captivating. The selling could be hit or miss but they were almost always a show's highlight. They kind of meant a whole lot of nothing but was fun to watch anyway. I even liked the Tank Abbot connection. I...even...liked: THAT. 8.25"

Rosey's best stuff by two country miles, The Hurricane can only do favors for a career. Did a thing and ran it's course. I often wear rose tinted glasses with tag teams, especially with ones like this, 5.5."

dysboat wrote about Young Bucks:
[5.0] "I think I get why these guys are as popular as they are, at least to some extent, but there's very little about them that appeals to me. The Young Bucks are a tag team that epitomizes the popular in-ring style of the 2010s indie scene - fast paced, stunt-centric matches laden with complex spots and flashy sequences. Basically every fundamental convention of wrestling is kind of absent in most Young Bucks matches, you're not going to see much heat, or anything really resembling a babyface/heel dynamic, and you'll probably see some overt cooperation between opponents. It probably won't feel like there's much animosity between the contestants, or like there's even really a competition happening in the ring. In most cases, the best you can hope to see from this team is a visually engaging exhibition of moves and stunts, and the ability of the audience to suspend their disbelief or engage emotionally with the match is sacrificed for the sake of achieving same. Luckily, that's enough for your average indie show attendee from the 2010s, but I don't think the Young Bucks function well as a fixture of a weekly televised wrestling product. There are a lot of fundamental aspects of wrestling and its presentation that they struggle with. In the right context and with the right opponent, they're definitely capable of a more functional wrestling match, but they've never been able to convince me that they know how to present themselves or how to get themselves over with anybody for whom they haven't already."

[2.0] "There are things about late '03 into early '04 WWE that fall flat and flirt with fast forwarding/channel change heat. These things make it hard to want to binge watch decades later. Basham Brothers fit that bill. It's not the worst but have you ever tried eating a VERY stake cracker, meanwhile there's a whole unopened box only an arm's length away? Why? Just open the new box. Just watch a different tag team. If I rank a tag team low, that means they must EXTREMELY stink, please understand this. 1.5"

[8.0] "Their work in Crockett is damn impressive, yes they were an "answer" to the Road Warriors but at the time please remember, The Barbarian was in JCP long before Animal and The Warlord didn't quite look like Hawk just yet. The enhancement matches are jaw dropping; the displays of power, teamwork and athleticism are profound for the time and always deliver. The bench press event/angle with The Legion of Doom was a hit, the matches following were tooth n nail & went ALL out. Then the trip to New York (WWF). Now a full fledged Road Warrior rip off, the pair went onto to feud with Demolition but the chemistry just wasn't there. The Barbarian did ok but The Warlord seemed out of place on top of limited. Even youngsters could see they didn't have "it" when there and the bell to bell stuff sometimes suffered. Those are harsh words but there are decent matches to be found there, against The Rockers especially. I have an odd confession, The Super Assassins worked for me. So, maybe disregard anything I say about anyone ever. Good is good, bad is a bit bold. 7.75"

Love the look, love the name, love the promos, love the dance, love the MULTIPLE team/double maneuvers. Tiger Conway Jr's best stuff (and even then he's kind of not that good at any of it but) Shaska is on FIRE here. The flaw is brutal, there's almost nothing to relive. What's there to relive puts a mile wide grin on me every time."

[8.0] "I love MxM for a lot of reasons--turning gold out of a gimmick that was clearly meant to be a rib, having maximum charisma combined with excellent in ring athleticism and storytelling--but what I love most about these guys is how they've managed to take every sour situation handed to them by the majors and turn it into a wildly successful indie run. These two are arguably one of the hottest tag teams on the indies right now, and it's entirely because of their connection with the crowd and refusal to let others bring them down. Wrestling is a better place with them in it."

These dudes are unbelievable middle of the road it's insane. Even the worst big dude tag teams at least had incredible brutal looking offense like Men on a Mission, Mable broke dudes faces. But these guys add nothing, zilch, nada to any of their matches, there's no element of danger to anything they. The hit a big move, look at hard cam and go "OOHHHH" and it's so cringey. I really want to like them, but they're so bland and boring. At least they're not outright bad like G.o.D."

[10.0] "George South & (it could only be) Gary Royal. As Cruel Connection they were dressed as giant neon green highlighter markers with orange caps on by mistake. Terrible. An eyesore. Painful on the eyes, literally ... not the ring work. The hideous ring attire. Legendary. I think it was Dick Murdoch who once turned one of their masks around and I hope I see that again so I can edit it in later. If someone was color blind, you could test them with this team. It may be enough to cause seizures in others, so points docked for that. Hell, I'm visually impaired myself, so this is some form of masochism. Seriously. It's the attire you can't not remember. [10.0] "Certainly the best women's team that WWE has created. Asuka is the best Japanese wrestler and Kairi one of the most talented. Their characters were and are fun, charismatic and colorful. Their talent no longer needs to be demonstrated. Their first tag team reign was one of the few to give value to the women's tag team title. Their alliance with Iyo Sky and the Japanese gang is overflowing with charisma and class. I'm just a little disappointed with Kairi Sane's in-ring abilities, slightly below what they were in the past. I really hope that this is the start of a long golden story, which will do justice to Asuka, too often disrespected; and that this will raise Kairi and Iyo even more."

[2.0] "I did really wish this team to have an amazing reign. Asuka and Charlotte are, according to me, the two best female wrestlers of this generation and I hopes they can have a strong reign and cool story. Charlotte has so much respect for Asuka and so does she. The past rivalry becoming a kind of friendship built from respect could had been truly cool. Unfortunately, and at this time, Asuka was just used as a victim who needed Charlotte to save her (despite the fact she was the Raw Champ) and a reason to Charlotte to get her Grand Slam."

[4.0] "The idea of keeping Alexa and Asuka busy by allowing them to form a team with Bianca was cool. It's always good to see Asuka wrestling and being included in stories, it allowed Alexa to try out a new character, and it created some great story opportunities for a Bianca whose reign lasted and sometimes lacked intensity. Unfortunately, Alexa failed to find and develop a character as charismatic as her previous one, their five-day reign as tag team champions was pointless and unnecessary, only impoverishing Damage Control's debut, and the little rivalry between Alexa and Bianca lacked surprise and strength."

[9.0] "I like the fact that all the Four Horsewomen are first champions of the various women's titles. Bayley and Sasha, through their shared history and friendship, deserved to be dominant tag team champions. Unfortunately, their first reign was short and disappointing, due to consistently terrible booking. The pandemic period allowed them to shine more and do justice to their team. Talent, strong characters and complete in-ring, I would love to see a return of this team with, once again, a new version of themselves. They are capable of it."

The best 'Mania of all time had probably the best tag team match of all time on it with of course one of the most memorable spots of Edge spearing Jeff Hardy from the top of the ladder, And their catchphrases "for those with the benefit of flash photography" and "reeks of awesomeness" have been engrained into most wrestling fans (and even non wrestling fans) vernaculars. E&C are the quintessential tag team and even though they are now having the best feud in AEW, their WWE work will be talked about for generations to come."

[7.0] "FTR are skilled in-workers of the "allrounder" style. However, they are poor on the mic, and their gimmick is nostalgia for an era of wrestling that they are too young to remember. They are naturally an upper-midcard heel tag team: the should hold a championship from time to time, but they don't need to hold 4 championships at once. In 2022, they were overly protected in AEW, not losing a match to the Acclaimed while the Acclaimed were AEW champions, despite a match being teased. Maybe that was bad booking: the titles of the separate brands shouldn't merge, in the same way that the World champion shouldn't challenge secondary champions. This cheapened the tag team titles, as the implied narrative was basically that FTR was the deserving tag team, but the Acclaimed were selling edgy t-shirts and overpriced foam fingers."

At this point in their careers they need to fully own being power-abusing heels and stop begging for "their flowers." The waffling between trying to be bad guys and out of kayfabe asking for more respect does nothing for them. I could probably get behind at least boo'ing them if they committed to being hated, because they are serviceable in the ring. It's just too obvious that they still insist upon being seen as "cool heels, " so it ruins whatever aura they are trying to impress upon the audience. When Jim Ross would say they were the greatest or best or blah blah blah I would laugh like Edna Krabappel then change the channel. About 5 or 7 years ago I saw them again and enjoyed it. One is the mouth, who is also the bump taking face in peril. The other is the Dumb Blonde Beefcake who got the hot tag and GETS THINGS DONE. I like it. I had to discredit it and totally bypass it in youth, to appreciate it in my deeper age. If I live long enough to watch them all over again I am sure to have recommended watches or might even shift my tune a bit. But as it stands - they won me over, it just took almost decades. They were a perfect example of a team consisting of two guys who one's strengths balanced out the other's weaknesses. Jesse could talk the chrome off a bumper, draw people in to the building with his promos, and was more of the power wrestler who didn't take bumps, and was never going to wow you in the ring physically. Adrian on the other hand was one heck of a bump taker, , one heck of a worker especially before he gained all that weight, and could talk to some degree but not at the level of Jesse., and didn't have the power game or the body that Jesse did pun intended. You put those two guys together and they were a hit. They had great feuds/ matches with both The High Flyers (Gagne and Brunzell) and Paul Ellering and Steve Olsonoski in the AWA. And they were a team that if you looked at an 8x10 of them together, you wouldn't see how they gel at all, but once you saw it for yourself by watching the program you got their magic instantly I am actually kinda shocked more people haven't rated them yet, but i I guess it's because they were a territorial team, and not a main stream team like a lot of the others.."

When the WWF was peak cartoon era, this was a wrestler's wrestler in Greg Valentine & a -not very over the top- male...stripper? *shakes head vigorously* I guess his gimmick was that, *shrug*. Fortunately, Beefcake came off as just a meathead there to pound on ya, with little to no frills. It was refreshing, they were a GREAT heel tag team for the era. Greg was as good as ever here and was able to groom Brutus into something very watchable. This was Brutus Beefcake's pinnacle and their whole run together is enjoyable, natural chemistry that only improved. 7.75 rounded up, could/should have gotten a longer run with no Dino Bravo fiasco. The Mandela effect was made off the backs of these guys, and the effect is believing that they are a hall of fame level tag team. Just absolute nothing has come from them inside the ring for me, just meh after meh after meh"

The Lucha Brothers became a sensation in the second half of the tenth after they became known to the mass audience from their appearances in Lucha Underground. Unfortunately, now they're just two luchadores showing spots. It worked in the beginning, but unfortunately they are not evolving in any way. They are capable of putting on a quality match, although they're often monotonous lately, but as characters they stand still and trying to flirt with AEW fans with teasers of Pentagon Dark's return has gotten nowhere. Nevertheless, they have become quite popular, and still make appearances around the world."

He suited their personality perfectly as the manager of one of the most legendary and dominant tag teams in history. Being around Drake Maverick hurt their credibility a little, Rollins thing was promising too but cut short due to unlucky reasons. Both great athletes respectively and bring a great dominance that puts them over and their opponents whether they're underdogs or an established babyface team. I'm now looking closely to their work in Final Testament and if they get over with the fans eventually. I think that stable can be something of an important thing on weekly basis thus giving a credibility to Authors of Pain one more time with Ellering on their side again."

They are not the strongest of all time on promos or in the ring, but they improved and were so impactful for WWE. They brought in a brand new fanbase to WWE, and when talking to others, The Bella Twins are always who they bring up when I mention WWE. They are Hall of Famers for a reason, and like them or not, they made a huge impact for WWE. I also think that the Twin Magic speciality was something that was so cool, and I would love to see that in a future WWE 2K game, as Im sure it would be cool with modern technology. Baron's been just wandering around aimless for years with some flickers of potential from time to time, and this pairing has brought out the greatest attributes of the character and performer. Bron's character has come a long way since his face run, and he was already main roster ready before this team even came together, but this has added a new comedic layer to the character that really rounds him out. Their segments are funny and they play off each other well in dialogue and in matches, and they manage to come off corny in a likeable way while still being dominant heels. While Bron seems to be set for a huge singles run on the main roster soon, I hope these two still remain allies who have each other's back."

They even get their opponents to help them tell that story because their opponents inevitably stop trying to win themselves and actively set up spots so that the Young Bucks win. Like the spot where their opponent stands around dazed for up to a minute while the Young Bucks pander to the crowd for way too long before they launch themselves in an unnecessary dive that nobody will bother to sell. Or the spot where opponents will visibly drop their character so the Young Bucks can try to hit a convoluted double-team move that just doesn't work. Sometimes it doesn't work because they botch the move badly, but sometimes it doesn't work because that sort of spot doesn't make sense in the "all wrestlers are trying to win" sense. But then you remember that the story of the match is "The Young Bucks were booked to win" and it's all okay. When things go bad they can just steal what made other people popular for the cheap pop from people that vote 10. Too bad that they try to pass themselves off as wrestlers, though."

The best match was the one against the japanese team. On this tournament they showed that they were a good heel team, with chemistry between them and with a bright future. The only problem that happened is that Morgan's appearences were rare, due to his Japan commitements, which made him lose a lot of shows. I mean, he wasn't there even when Daniels and Xavier lost the titles to AJ Styles and the Amazing Red. Their next match was a six man tag alongside Samoa Joe against Low Ki, Homicide and Doug Williams. The purpose of that one was to built Samoa Joe as a beast, and they totally accomplished it. Then The Prophecy faced the SAT on a bad two out of three falls, in which the Maximos botch a lot of things. After that, there wasn't another Morgan tag team match until Night of the Grudges, where they defeated The Group on a Losing Faction Must Disband Six Man Tag Team alongside Dan Maff. Morgan here didn't look impressive and never came back to ROH. It's a shame that we couldn't see more of them, because they showed that they were a capable tag team with chemistry between them and his finisher was cool. They will be remembered as the inaugural ROH tag team champions."

Their offense, their looks and their presention is heavily inspired by some incredible tag teams back in the 80s/90s like the Harts or Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson but they are not any rip-offs of old legends, they are they're own thing and their special in their own way. Every match they have is must-watch for me. Their trilogy with the Briscoes is sublime and their tag matches with the Bucks and Bullet Club Gold are all incredible. In NXT they did some awesome work with DIY and The American Alpha as the Revival but once they moved to the main roster, they got lost in the shuffle. Luckly, in 2020 they came to AEW and that saved their carrers as they were given the spotlight they deserved. They work very well both as heels and babyfaces, their shenanigans as heels were awesome to watch and their connection with the crowd as babyfaces in unmatched. They also work very well in multi-men situations, like trios or eight-man matches, and in singles competition, especially Dax who had an impressive streak of great matches in 2022. Logic and reasoning do not usually apply to wrestling, thus The Shadows were born. Jose Luis Rivera was moonlighting as The Red Demon but was now placed as Rex's second. The purpose: enhancement talent, the talent to enhance: The Young Stallions. The Shadows wrestled other opponents of course, but most of their matches were against the recently paired Powers & Roma. Jose Luis as #2 was more subdued here than his role as The Red Demon, same goes for his upcoming role as Conquistador #1. #1/Rex seemed to have his working shoes on for this gimmick, as he was pushing his usually slothful body to speeds I don't think I've seen him move in before (kudos).
