[3.0] "The match sucked but I think a lot of that was down to Hiromu. It's not that uncommon for Hiromu to phone it in and go for a comedy act when wrestling outside of Japan but this took it to another level. Even in the final few minutes - by far the best parts of the match - it was mostly Ali putting in the work. It's like New Japan think Hiromu's appeal to foreigners is just as "The funny cat guy". Daryl has been down-played and phased out in New Japan in the past few years so maybe it says it all that they bring him back for the US shows."

[8.0] "Another expected Will Ospreay banger right here. They are building up for Will Ospreay vs. Bryan Danielson so they are pairing Ospreay with some BCC dudes to get him over and build up to it. It was a great match and these two stole the show with their match. One of my favorite moments of the match was Will Ospreay reversing the Giant Swing with that GIGANTIC DDT which was an insane visual. My only gripe with this match and this feud in general is that it needs more segments/promo time to really get it over. You need that drama, that oomph. [****]"

[9.0] "This was as good a TV match you can get within time constraints. Last 5 minutes are worth watching again and gain. Very few wrestlers will give you such a match just days before a huge PPV match. Claudio tried to match Osprey's speed but it was unmatchable. They started from the get go, slowed a bit in between and bang in the end. Very simple process but it worked due to the moves that they were doing and how efficient and crisp they were in doing them. It boggles my mind how some wrestler are so fast and powerful but at same time pretty safe also. Counter for the swing is the one move to watch out in the match."

[7.0] "A match that went about exactly as I expected. Claudios ceiling in AEW largely as an upper card guy to put over other names has been unfortunate compared to he himself being the star commodity. Ospreays selling (or lack thereof) continues to be not really for me in I feel like most cases. That said this was still easily the best thing on this Dynamite that was otherwise extremely low-middling. The result was never once in doubt as the build to Ospreay/Bryan has felt pretty tame overall for such a hyped match. Claudio continues to be one of the best bases for a high flyer."

[5.0] "This and the next match were my least favourite matches, but this was still decent. Baby Allison under-delivered a bit for me, but this was also my first time seeing her and I'm not sure how long she's been wrestling or anything. I will say I do like Baby Allison's character of "The Witch Bitch." I will say that I thought Lana Austin was good here once things got going and also in her second match later on."

[7.0] "So, it was a great show, a cool one even. The Mixed Tag Team was interesting, Jericho's segment was okay, the low point of the show, but of course, compared to the last few weeks and being the last show leading up to a PPV with additional announcements for the Dynasty PPV, having great matches involving Will Ospreay and Claudio, it was fun to watch. Moxley opening as the new champion of Japan, and closing the show fighting with his opponent might be the point to analyze. Will Ospreay vs Claudio Castagnoli: **** Classic TV Show Match"

[7.0] "One of the best big men out there. Looks like if Mick Foley & Bam Bam Bigelow had a baby, it would be this guy. Don't let his physique fool you, he could slam guys like Andre, Studd, Bundy, and other giants in his weight range. Despite being 5'9 and 500lbs. He moved around better than most giants. Amazing athlete and wrestler."

[5.0] "They were dealt a difficult hand with protecting Julia Hart following her injury on Rampage but this was unfortunately pretty middling. Brody King has often felt at the cusp of a larger breakout within AEW and then it is immediately stopped such as seeing him beat then champion Eddie Kingston and losing to Daniel Garcia via fluke weeks later. Copeland works hard and its a bit of a shame that he feels stuck in pretty cold programs within AEW away from the Christian feud. Mercedes Mones involvement continues to feel stale in AEW currently."

[5.0] "I am not a fan of Shane Taylor to be honest. He's never stood out to me in anyway shape or form and he fits better on the indies instead of Prime-Time television in my opinion. He just seems like another guy on the roster and because of that and whatever Orange Cassidy is doing with Trent Berretta this feels almost lifeless at points. How did Cassidy go from a feud with Moxley to one of the former Dudebusters. I couldn't care about this match and I was thankful when it ended, okay for TV but forgettable. [**3/4]"

[6.0] "A decent match right here. I completely forgot that the Toni Storm & Deonna Purrazzo story was still going on. The last time I heard about "Timeless" Toni Storm was the Twitter marks complaining about the lesbian tones to Toni Storm. This match was alright. Mariah May has potential to be a big star and I feel like one day she's gonna turn on Toni Storm or Toni Storm is gonna turn on her and they are gonna have a huge feud. Their is a LOT of potential right here so I'm excited for what the future holds. [***]"

[4.0] "What a boring show. Sure, lots of matches, but none of it mattered. As a program to sell Dynasty, it did not do its job. In a vacuum it was fine. At least we didn't get another 10 minute Bucks promo. I'm really unimpressed with the build to Osprey/Danielson. Wouldn't it make more sense to actually have Danielson play heel and throw his stablemates at Osprey? I think so. I just feel like this entire run between Revolution and now is a bit snakebit. Obviously they'll probably put it together for a good PPV, but it's something I'm not looking forward to, beyond the world title fight, which feels like an afterthought."

[5.0] "Decent opener with good pacing and fine wrestling, Alejandro and Hiroki were the best performers here"

[7.0] "I thought this was a really good match, in fact my second favourite match of the night. Before this match we got a good spotlight video package on Leyla Hirsch. I've seen Leyla before thanks to AEW and if anything this show made me an even bigger fan. First time seeing Sammii Jayne and she was quite good. Leyla Hirsch moves on here in the Femme Fatales tournament."

[7.0] "An enjoyable match that was just there to build up to PAC vs. Kazuchika Okada. I feel like they shouldn't have paired them in tag team matches to build them up. It kinda ruins the mystique of the match coming up when they have tag matches with each other on Dynamite & the upcoming Collision. I'm still not the biggest fan of the Young Buck's new gimmick, It's a nice change of pace from the Superkick Party thing but I don't wanna see them on my screen. I fear soon they will have go away heat. [***1/2]"

[6.0] "A decent opening match between these two teams right here. They are going for Malakai Black vs. Adam Copeland which sounds exciting but why add so much fluff for it and to hype up a six-man tag that nobody is gonna care about at the end of the day. Felt like something that was here just to fill the card and build up some stuff for Dynasty later this weekend. I loved the intergender stuff that was presented. I think it would be nice to have some intergender wrestling to break the gender boundries. [***]"

[9.0] "Another Will Ospreay main event, and another crazy bout. The fans were completely behind Ospreay and booing Castagnoli. Although he isn't a heel, Claudio played into it superbly, even going for an eye rake in the middle. They told a real nice story of Claudio out-powering Ospreay most of the way, only for Will to find creative counters towards the end. That final counter out of the giant swing was absolutely brilliant. An awesome final match for Ospreay before his huge contest against Danielson this weekend."

[6.0] "The match itself never really kicked into much for me but the crowd's back and forth surrounding Jack Perry made this pretty entertaining. I'm a bit more positive on the whole All In footage thing, simply because it brings drama pro wrestling needs right now. Perry is leaning into that drama - as he well should - and that might have given him his best crowd reaction yet. That also made Umino's babyface crowd pandering look a little pitiful. No matter how much he flexed, screamed, and postured, you never felt that they were cheering for him, only against Perry. I don't know if anyone would have been able to overcome that on the night. Another issue there is that Perry is still fairly inexperienced as a heel. He can play to the crowd and make the moment about him but I think we're yet to see a match in which the crowd really gets behind the babyface. I also think it was a mistake to have the handshake and then have Perry bump fists with fans on the way out."

[9.0] "AEW are very, very lucky to have Will Ospreay in their roster because even if you might think negatively about the man on a personal level (and believe me, I'm in that group), it's undeniable that he is one of the best in-ring workers on the planet right now. This had shades of the Hobbs match from a fortnight ago, but with Claudio putting some points into INT/WIS instead of Hobbs dumping everything into STR. This was another one of those "put two insanely talented wrestlers together, give them fifteen minutes, and let them make TV magic" matches that AEW excels with and Ospreay can pull off in his sleep. Seriously, that finishing sequence starting with the swing counter and ending with that meaty hidden blade was pure kino. But I do have one criticism here why the hell would you cut to commercial during Ospreay's music? ! ? That's as bad as when they cut off Kaze ni Nare a couple of years ago!"

[5.0] "Decent showing from both men here, but the thing that really holds me back from rating this higher are those sleeper holds. I think one or two would have been good enough for Black Tiger to come back from, but Pegasus applies one after another. This gets the crowd behind Black Tiger, which makes the atmosphere better but overall it kind of killed the pace of the match for me."

[4.0] "Some cool spots, but doesn't have much else for me to give it a higher rating. I'm not too familar with The Great Sasuke and although he had some really cool moments, especially those flips into the dive, he did really do anything for me. Benoit was ok in this but nothing really stand out."

[10.0] "Great Dynamite episode, great crowd, great matches, great promos, great character work, great build for PPV, you cannot get more in a weekly TV show. Osprey is definitely hurt by some of the comments said for him in the past few days, you can see the fire in him, he is looking like the old Osprey ( before the injury), he is going to give his all on Sunday, which could very lead to the best match in AEW history. Mox always brings energy to the show, it was smart to open with him. The women's matches have now definitely upped their game and Toni's character work is unbelievable. Mercedes first time felt like herself, today being a heel tease. Adam Copeland is very consistent with his matches and tonight was the same. No as such downs, only thing that could have been - more focus on the World Title picture although promo by Joe was excellent. PPV build has been good and the card is an all timer, AEW PPV is going to deliver again."

[9.0] "This match was great. Here are my favorite moments from this match. I love that Claudio went after Ospreay as soon as the bell rang. There were some really great strikes early on in this match. Cool moment where Claudio threw Ospreay towards the barricade and Ospreay just jumped over the barricade. Claudio caught Ospreays attempt at a springboard dive to the outside. Claudio then slammed Ospreay on the damn apron. After Claudio took control for a while Ospreay finally got back in the match and he did so by doing some amazing athletic spots. Ospreay put Claudio in a Sharpshooter which Claudio got out of really quickly and put Ospreay in one of his own. Claudio went for a springboard uppercut and Ospreay superkicked Claudio on his way down and then hit Claudio with a Tiger Driver for a great near fall. There was a great exchange where they hit each other with strikes and then got countered when they tried a different one. Claudio had a great counter to the OsCutter, he caught Ospreay and fucking slammed him to the mat for a great nearfall. Ospreay countered a Lariat with a great Spanish Fly. Claudio countered a hidden blade and hit a European Uppercut on Ospreay insane stuff. Ospreay countered the Giant Swing. Ospreay hit Claudio with a Cancun Tornado for another great nearfall. Ospreay finally finished Claudio off with a brutal Hidden Blade."

[9.0] "A real slept on opening match. Eddie Kingston brought continued great intensity in his feud with Jericho.Wheeler Yuta was on fire at this stage in his career, and continued the underdog momentum. And if anyone wasnt as aware of Shota Umino before this match, then they were in for a very surprising underdog performance. I attended this event, and to this day, one of the most impactful crowd reactions I remember is when Shota locked Chris in the Walls Of Jericho. And Suzuki was bringing the exact kind of insanity we were wanting, and Sammys egotistical charisma fit like a glove with every opponent. Everyone executed their roles so well that it became one of my favorite six man tags of the 2020s. ****1/2"

[5.0] "Pleasantly surprised by this match. I don't watch alot of trios matches but this has some nice names in the card, PAC and Okada being the most stand out. Penta's main event last week was pretty nice as well, Bucks although being kind of washed can produce something and I didn't care for Garcia going. However Garcia really worked his ass off here which I'm really glad as he seemed to be slid in as the third man for the other side. Unfortunately Penta was the one who got this role although he did still get some cool moments. And PAC looked excellent in this, it sincerely made me want to switch on one of his matches. The Bucks did better than I expected, I like the microphone bit from Matthew. But I am kind of mixed on Okada in this match. Honestly think he should have been furious at Garcia for most of it, I think he should have stomped him a bit more. Although I will say that the stiff Rainmaker at the end did fulfill this, its just that for most of the match I couldn't help but think that Okada probably should have been destroying the other team without The Bucks for a little bit more."

[10.0] "The exact show that AEW needed after last weeks bad taste of All In, a spoon full of great AEW action helps the storylines go down, and boy howdy did we get it tonight, a show that built up how important Dynasty is for everything, Swerve/Joe feels white hot, Ospreay/Danielson is dream worthy, having Mox back to cut that opening promo felt like he was about to run through a brick wall, and everything else on this show was absolutely top notch, great womens action great trios action and an absolute killer of a main event, the only negative is Mercedes' rather iffy promo but I thought she recovered well with the run in saving Willow later, overall a must watch episode of AEW leading to what could possibly be the greatest PPV AEW has ever done."

[9.0] "Live bias here. I completely get the low ratings for this match, and if I watched it on screen I would probably have found the comedy to be somewhat cheesy, but it was the first time I ever got to see Stardom live, and as an opener it was perfect. Saki Kashima is so over and the American audience seemed so much louder than the polite but restrained cheering I'm used to streaming from the Japanese shows. The entire show was an amazing experience, and as the opener this really set a fun tone. I imagine on screen it was a mediocre show at best, but I rate things on my personal experience."

[3.0] "I never thought these two had very much chemistry and this was no different. The match was not entirely without its moments but really it was nothing at all special or memorable, yet another match between these two that failed to move any needles. Jericho needs his heel turn bad."

[7.0] "This was a good TV main event, and I think the MOTN, but nothing insane outside of that counter to the Giant Swing being so smooth and impressive. A lot of great-looking offense being exchanged, a lot of Claudio tossing a grown man like a child and Will jumping insanely high to make that look even better. I don't want to say they didn't put in effort here because they absolutely did, but I guess there just wasn't a higher gear that I thought these two could reach, though in a first time ever match I think that's about right. Great post-match with Mox and the DCF though. ***1/2"

[9.0] "We all knew why this match was booked, to put on a great match, and take a guess what we got, we got a great match. Ospreay is of course talented as hell, and Cluadio is insanely good, its crazy how he hasnt been a bigger star in other places. This match was fast-paced and while admittedly it was a bit of a spot fest, its still a fun match and insanely good. Ospreay vs Danielson at Dynasty is gonna be a banger. Ospreay continues whatever run he is on of amazing matches, Claudio gets a main event match, everyone wins! 9/10."

[7.0] "This is a good match for what it is, but we all knew that Orange Cassidy was going to win this match, Shanes pretty good in the ring and we all know how good Orange is, so we got a nice match out of this, but this is also AEW so theres also some no selling here, but oh well, I got better things to complain about, and this match was really used to enhance an angle between Cassidy and Berretta, which honestly, I think the better way to do that is to have Trent cost Cassidy the match, but STP isnt getting pushed anyways so 7/10."

[6.0] "This match was decent I suppose, but it felt like these two didnt have the best chemistry in this match as I counted at least two botches in this match that were pretty noticeable, but other than that, this match really felt it had no stakes because May just lost a #1 contenders match and Purazzo lost to Storm at Revolution, the main reason for this match was an angle with Storm beating up Purazzo after the match and Rosa ran in to make the save. The match was decent, but a bit awkward and felt like it had no stakes in a go-home show. 6/10."

[8.0] "This was a very good match that involved some insane pace. And Matthew Jackson pulling a discount Booker T by doing commentary for his match for whatever reason. Daniel Garcia ended up eating the pin after a superkick party and a rainmaker clothesline. The Elite then went for a postmatch beatdown and tried using a ladder, but that was ended when Pac brought the bell hammer into action and chased them off. Great tag team match, not to much to complain about aside from the fact I think it went a bit long, 8/10."

[6.0] "Uh this was a bit awkward, first off, this was basically a singles match between Copeland and King for the first 95% of this match because presumably Julia attacked Willow backstage and Willow didnt come out until the very end. King and Edge put on a decent showcase, but then eventually Willow came out and got tagged in a very creative way I must admit, but Julia jumped off the apron and then Willow attacked King (OSAC isnt gonna like that) but then Hart knocked out Willow with a chain. and Copeland clotheslined King out of the ring why when Julia is clearly going to try and pin Willow? I dont know, that ending was awkward, but the match was decent, 6/10."

[10.0] "The rivalry that rejuvenated Adam Page's passion for wrestling and made Swerve look like a million bucks. Their matches were brutal, the segments were amazing, a lot of memorable moments, this was a perfectly crafted rivalry from start to finish."

[] "I dont think Ive ever heard louder boos. After delivering one of the greatest promos of his career (and thats saying A LOT), Hot Rod gets attacked by Jericho in one of the most sickening displays youll ever see. I wanted to go through my TV screen and give him a taste of his own medicine. His heel run during this time was sooooo good."

[9.0] "GREAT sub 10 minute TV match, pretty much the best you could ask for under the circumstances. Benoit, unfortunately, remains one of the best ever and gave Batista a tremendous fight, and Batista is absolutely insane at this time, just pure intense power."

[6.0] "Giant Singh, Giant Silva, Dr. Wagner Jr. and Katsuyori Shibata inside the same ring, a ring at Arena México. I do not need to say anything else. It's not a great match but it's not bad either. It's just unimaginable."

[6.0] "Good episode, but I felt like most matches fell flat in their faces. DIY making their re-debut on Raw is good, and Chelsea Green vs Natalya is a solid comedy match but the rest felt interchangeable. The Miz-GUNTHER segment is genuinely fantastic, McIntyre's backstage promo is very good and Seth's promo is also solid. But everything involving Judgment Day is stale AF. Nikki Cross' new shtick is horrible and makes no sense. On a side not, Triple H stop trying to make Xia Li a thing challenge IMPOSSIBLE."

[6.0] "I didn't find the fight as boring as the other comments here, in fact there were some good moments, but the truth is that the long duration ended up taking its toll. Either way, this is The Undertaker's best WrestleMania match up to that point, although that wouldn't be that hard to do."

[3.0] "This was really uncomfortable, frankly. In terms of the promo deliverance, it was done fine and Piper has chemistry. And don't get me wrong, I love when a promo is just dunking on Vince Russo the entire time. But Jesus, where do you begin? Accusing Vince Russo of having a part of what happened to Owen Hart is something that shouldn't be in the show. The moment he says that, the crowd just goes quiet, and the rest of the promo is just in this really weird space that I don't think you could ever replicate."

[6.0] "I dunno, something about this match just didn't click completely with me. As a way to build to Dynasty, it definitely did its job, and I appreciate how the two House of Black matches are being treated as a unit instead of being isolated, because of course Julia and Brody would look out for each other! But I felt like the pudding was over-egged a little with Willow being taken out, though I get they might want to protect Julia, who is still not 100%, and refocusing it into Cope playing Ricky Morton is not the worst decision one can make. And to be honest, I can't complain too much about a match in which Willow gets to cannonball Brody."

[7.0] "Simple but effective, mostly meant to further Trent's heel turn against Cassidy. Shane Taylor has been one of the most underrated guys on American TV for like five years and I'm glad that AEW has finally started to give him some time on major shows to beat the life out of people like he did to OC here. The man has possibly the loudest chops in the business right now and can throw an strike like few others, and OC bumped and sold it like they were all knockouts. The STP interference was just eh, but I get that they're establishing the group and not just Shane. ***1/4+"

[5.0] "Bonus points for essentially shitting on Hulk Hogan and really openly spouting how awful he could be backstage. I'll admit, I know these kinds of shoot promos are objectively shit, and trust me this one isn't really that good at all, but god this one is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's one of those promos that really bad but you can't help but listen to it every now and then. For real though, this is all complete horse shit, even if its accurate in regards to Hogan's politicking. A prime example of how Vince Russo never put the blame on himself and instead putting blame on everyone around him, and this promo did nothing to help WCW at all. Believe it or not, constantly telling everyone in the crowd its all scripted and whatnot day in and day out is not a good idea."

[7.0] "If I were a pretentious YouTuber that made S-Tier video essays about wrestling I would put this match in a Stephanie Vaquer 5-Match Primer"

[6.0] "This match is the perfect little quibi-sized burst of wrestling everyone needs in their life. Good comedy and fun stuff from both involved. Something of a spectacle in an inverse way to see such a tiny crowd, I found it endearing, solid watch."

[0.0] "Yeah no this isn't it. Very few things make me instantly say 0, and exploiting someone's death, especially someone so universally loved as Eddie Guerrero, for cheap heat is one of those things. Shameful from Vince and his writing team, Randy clearly hates delivering the line too."

[8.0] "This match was really good! Here are my favorite moments of this match. I loved when Matt started doing commentary. Mid-Match and hearing the rest of commentary's response to it. Garcia took a massive beating in this match. Pac is a madman. This made me more excited for their match for the Continental Championship. Penta looked good as always. Okada has adjusted really well to wrestling weekly on American TV. The bucks were big on their heel stuff tonight. Which is them at their best. This is the best they've been in a long time."

[4.0] "She is an adequate performer, nothing very interesting. She is goot at wrestling but lacks a self-personality, specially with her current heel persona, I just can't take her seriously. She is trying too much to look "evil" but she don't has it. She is also copycatting AJ Lee a lot, most of her promos and mannerisms are based off on her and its annoying. It almost makes you want to shout at her: "find yourself a personality."

[9.0] "This was a great bloody fight, something really different than you often see on the independent scene. Not at all about fancy move, this was extremely gritty and violent but in the sense of a brutal fight rather than an over the top death match. This was my first time seeing both guys and both were damn great."

[4.0] "[UPDATING] Well, she is like kind of starting to show up more personality with her current Candice LeRae heel storyline. Her selling and movement is kind of improving too, but she is still average and a bit slow. She also has a good look and presence. Hopefully her heel turn helps her, by now, she is a four."

[7.0] "Quite the solid trios match here, saw some comparisons to Road To show tags in terms of Okada's work here and I'd agree but in a good way. This was more about establishing The Elite's heelish ways more while giving PAC a hot tag to look good before the PPV. Garcia had a great little segment of running wild here after getting a mid-match promo cut on him (great bit) before he got cut off HARD, and he ate a really stiff Rainmaker for the finish which anybody would reasonably get put away by. PAC's aforementioned hot tag is really great, and his interactions with Okada rule, they really sold the match here. Penta continues to just kind of be there and lose despite a few cool spots, PLEASE turn this man heel. ***1/2"

[4.0] "This show was pretty bad. The JBL match was the match of the night. Other than that, it was boring.."

[3.0] "Very short and bad matches. Really bad show. At least we got the debut of The Brood. Main event was a mess."

[8.0] "Best Young Bucks match since Sting's retirement. Matt and Okada were especially great as over the top heels here. There was an old school dynamic with the live crowd, as they popped for everything the faces did but didn't react so much when the heels were in control. On the downside, I didn't love that Okada took a significant amount of offense, as he really should be made to look unbeatable right now. This did a very good job of building towards PAC vs Okada, although there was a missed opportunity for FTR to make the save after the match to build the Bucks against FTR. ****"

[0.0] "Rating according to his professional wrestling career. He did absolutely nothing memorable... I only remember him on a stupid segment with Kurt Angle throwing milk at I don't know who it was, I guess it was The Miz and Maryse or something? And he also had a flop match on NXT, nothing interesting came up from this dude"

[8.0] "As cocky as he is syrupy, he is fantastic enough parted a contender to professional wrestler in Revolution Pro. He has drive, nice body, very good in his English and Portugal is his home always. He drove himself against Warren Banks, he scratched and clawed into a fight with Connor Mills, a underrated encounter with Man Like DeReiss stringing interest into the heavily competitive Purpose title tournament and later for 4 years after 10, David had not won a singles or tag or trios title for that long anywhere. Assuming the worse, expect failure but not in David Francisco graduated path. He has his flowers, his tan and overall skill to climb to the top. Technical and athletic is best define him."

[6.0] "I thought this was a solid opener here. I have never seen Wesna, but this made me intrigued to see more of her work. I've never seen a full Session Moth Martina match, but here I got two and she seems like a solid worker with a fun gimmick. Martina seemingly overcomes the odds here and beats Wesna."

[9.0] "Great Clash match here between two super talented NWA main stays. Windham is hot on his heel turn and looking great. Brad Armstrong hasn't gotten much attention in JCP for awhile but his talent is undeniable. This match starts slow, picks up fast, and the final flurry is great stuff. Very fun for fans of this style."

[8.0] "I trust Theory a lot, the terrible management that WWE has had on him has affected him for years, however I hope that 2024 improves and is his year, I hope to rewrite my score to a 10 in the future."

[6.0] "This match seemed like it was just too easy for Trick. For some reason Melo and his goon squad got their asses handed to them. That being said, I love Trick's offense, and it's great that he gets to show off."

[3.0] "Giving Ronda this Rumble and causing Mone to leave WWE should be considered one of the worst crimes in wrestling. Boring Match"

[9.0] "Great shoot style match here, the shorter run time helped keep the pace nice and crisp and as expected both wrestlers brought through great striking and excellent technical skills here. I don't know if I agree Volk Han is one of the best ever but he's definitely extremely great at his preferred style."

[8.0] "Great wrestler, but lacking in charisma mainly because he wasn't the strongest on the mic. Had some pretty great singles matches with HHH, HBK, Jericho and Kurt Angle and was mainly known for being in a tag team with Charlie Haas and then winning the intercontinental title on RAW while fueding with Chris Jericho. Sadly in WWE he was always given a pretty lackluster gimmick later on and kind of ruined his character. He also didn't have the best mic skills considering that he just wasn't very good at coming off loud and arrogant. He did some cool stuff in Japan too. But I don't think people can complain about him not getting the world title when he did get a pretty generous mid card push."

[7.0] "Can't say I'm thrilled that we didn't get a full mixed tag, but it seems Julia is hurt and couldn't do more than what we got, so they still technically had it and just made it Cope vs Brody for most of it, and gave Willow some offense on Brody before going into what I can only assume is the intended finish. For what it was, the Brody heat segment and the Copeland comeback were actually really solid, the adaptation Cope's had to AEW's style has been amazing. Willow coming out with Stat hyping her up and getting offense on Brody ruled, and the finish to get heat and build up to the title change at the PPV makes sense. They had to make this more of an angle than a match but I think it was still very effective at that, though if Julia was healthy I think this could've been way more. *** match, 7/10 because the overall angle was great."

Great shoulder tackle spots and opening sequences that shows the strength and agility of these two men and it wonderfully builds anticipation for the upcoming match. Good hard hitting action that makes use of the Ishii formula greatly. Shingo provided a good challenge for ishii with his overwhelming offense with a mix high-flying moves with stiff strikes. Really basic match that really works in my opinion, they don't need to a lot of drama and tons of escalation in this, just simple, no more, no less. There is also a Great sequence with tons of backdrops. Finally with this match I understood why people consider Ishii is one of the best wrestlers of all time and Shingo Takagi is an absolute monster that makes me wonder how he maintained this style for more than a decade. Sometimes a big man meat match hurting eachother in the most spectacular ways is all you need in life. (*****)"

[8.0] "Excellent TV match here, perhaps you won't go running to call it Match of the Year but it was smart, technical, hard hitting when it needed to be, and a great chance for two wrestlers who could have never met 5 years ago getting to fight it out. I still see potential in Moriarty, if they can just figure out what to do with him."

[9.0] "The slander towards this show is crazy to me. I don't know how people can call a show with FOUR great matches "mid" or that it "didn't feel like WrestleMania." There are a number of WrestleManias with only two great matches that are rated higher on this site. Becky vs Rhea was a great opener, and even better in hindsight when you learn that Becky was sick and Rhea had a panic attack backstage before the match. The ladder match was a blast with so many fun spots and moments. Maybe a little awkward having two winners in the same match but it didn't affect my enjoyment. R-Truth is a national treasure. Rey and Andrade vs Santos and Dom was fun for what it was. This match was hotshot onto the card but I won't complain about getting some solid lucha action. I've never seen a double stacked cross body. That was sick. The Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson cameos, though nonsensical in story, were fun. I like when WWE makes a point to embrace the city they are performing in. Jimmy vs Jey was my only real disappointment. The hype package was fantastic but the match fell flat. The 6-woman tag was exactly what I expected - a quick showcase for Jade and a way to get more people on the card. Sami vs Gunther was fantastic. I was in the camp of feeling like Chad Gable made more sense as Gunther's Mania opponent but I enjoyed the Rocky storyline and Sami's entrance completely got me on board with him to the point that I popped when he won. Highly effective storytelling. The main event tag match was a spectacle. It was surreal to see the Rock live in a match in 2024. And not a 6 second "match" like at Mania 32. This was a 45 minute epic. The video package and entrances took almost a half hour so when the match started slowly, I got a little restless. However, they really pulled me back in by the end. Upon rewatch, it was a stellar main event. My first live Mania experience was unforgettable, even if it was a little chilly."

I'm not saying that she achieved what she achieved because of her last name, but without a doubt, with a different background, it would probably have been more difficult for her to achieve the status that she has. However, when she retires, I think she will change my rating. Since when that happens, Charlotte will be considered one of the best female wrestlers in history. That and more the terrible booking, only damage to the latter, only after almost 2 years, Theory returned to a course that seems to make sense. And although it is gratifying to see Cena again in a WM, as with SIkoa, defeating him is no longer so important. Really disappointing match, but I think what came next for Theory was more disappointing."

But again this is stupid, both Syuri and Mayu are on the top of the female wrestling so, a match between them for a title? A must see, right? Well, I have no explanation about what it is but I feel this kind of empty (in the high level of wrestling in which we are talking) and normal. (12-4)"

[4.0] "On the unexciting scale for me. Shibata's AEW matches are very rinse repeat, I love Shibata so much but every match has the same notes and same sequences, regardless of opponent. Moriarty has not been able to capture the potential of his early career. The crowd weren't really into it as well, it was a decent match but still sub-par hence the rating."

[4.0] "I actually didn't enjoy this match at all. I found it sloppy and out of the babyfaces, the aging Matt Sydal performed better than either Andretti, who wasn't able to control the crowd as a babyface, and also Dante Martin, who performed better than Andretti but still unimpressive. Black did well for the House of Black but King nor Matthews had much to offer. This match could've been so much better considering the talent involved. The match had no story."

[7.0] "I believe this was my first exposure to Kenny Omega and I have to say that I remember it being a great one. However upon rewatch of this there I believe that although this was a good match, it is far from each of these guys best as Jericho is pretty out of is prime here, but he does make up for it with some great character work though it does get a bit much at times. Also I really hate that rope break out of the One-Winged angel."

[7.0] "Was really awesome to watch live, and honestly I think this might go down as a pretty important match in Ospreay and Take's careers. However upon rewatch I found the stuff between the brutal, memorable spots to be somewhat underwhelming at times though its not horrible. I think I'd like a rematch between these two at some point, as I think it would solve this problem."

[3.0] "Pretty great atmosphere and ending is great, but aside from some cool spots and moments from each performer, this match is severely lacking when compared to the original triple threat. I think the thing that bothers me the most is that Benoit gets really beat on this match, but besides the very start and the ending, he really get the chance to do anything really stand out. Also I like their Mania match more because HHH actually plays to his strengths by playing the heel in a way that doesn't expose his weaknesses as a performer, but here he sticks out like a sore thumb. HBK is probably the most gripping part of this match, but he's out for a portion of it and makes a very predictable save. Overall, I just think this match could have been way more."

[5.0] "It's a good match for HBK to retire to. And I'm that it did leave alot of people satisfying up until that one horrible match. But personally it doesn't really do that all for me even with the stakes. Similar problem to W25 where I heavily dislike Taker's work in this. Michaels is decent but this match might be even slightly worse to me, seems like the no DQ stipulation really isn't taken advantage of."

[5.0] "The first time I watched this match, I gave it a fair rating thinking I didn't get it due to me not experiencing this match when it happened. However looking back, I realize that I have possibly have just never and probably will never get Taker. He is a mediocre wrestler to me and his flaws are showcased here against Shawn Michaels who saves this and their other match for me. The storyline is interesting and these guys do make for interesting an interesting duality but when it comes to the actual match it leaves alot to be desired for me."

[10.0] "Very strange name yet innovative, unique, and a great wrestler in-ring. Very interesting gimmick and did well in every promotion. Wish his career lasted longer."

[9.0] "This match started out just as every other tag match involving Kenta and Marufuji, only this time they're opponents instead of partners. It's solid if not unspectacular tag work for most of the first half of this match. It was at around the midpoint I started to wonder why this match was so acclaimed but then, almost on a dime, the match fucking explodes. The final half of this match is essentially just the Kota Ibushi show. At the start of the match, he gets polite applause when he first tags in, but by the end he has everyone in the Budokan losing their collective minds. Almost every move he does is some straight up mind breaking shit that, judging from the reactions he gets are things that people in 2007 just had not seen ever before. When he first does his counter of a strike into a kip up, the crowd react as if he's a fucking wizard and has just performed an act of magic in front of their very eyes. They also react in the same way when he does the backflip from the top rope into a standing moonsault, which Andrade shamelessly stole from him. The other guys in the match are also insanely good here, with Kenta in particular standing out and having a very brutal striking exchange with Ibushi and also hitting probably the finest GTS he's ever hit to end the match. There are a few sloppy moments and noticeable botches from both Ibushi and Marufuji, but this match is still an absolute blast regardless and a true breakout performance from Ibushi. ****1/2"
