[] "4/10 Edge is still green here, and it shows. Hes toying around with things that dont quite work and that he will inevitably drop from his repertoire. Hes bumping incredibly ugly and seems a bit off balance and awkward. Not his best night, by any means. Hes still fundamentally a solid performer and looks like a star. Regal looks solid but a bit checked out, though he was playing into his character really well. Overall it didnt feel like he was making things any easier for Edge, but he added as much realism as he could. Going into the match 20+ years later is kind of fun, but staying as objective as I can, its a 4/10 at best in my book."

[5.0] "3 of the 4 matches are completely naff. Leo Kruger is one of the worst characters in early NXT. He comes across as unbelievable in the psycho role. You can see him doing "acting". Main event is alright and probably one of the better matches of NXT thus far."

[5.0] "This is..well, it's not bad really. This is probably the best I've seen Michael Mcgillithingy in his run here in NXT. He really sold the frustration and the belief that he should be winning by right more than by any particular skill or advantage in the contest. The more it starts to seem like he cannot keep Rollins down the more frustrated he gets and the more aggressive."

[3.0] "Not a good match. Paige is over with the crowd in a big way here, but the work is lacking and the match is a completely skippable NXT tv affair. Also the commentary has aged well with Regal drooling over all four of the women and their primary value being that they look good."

[8.0] "I am not happy that Spears took a fast L after his debut but damn was not the match so good. How they rebuilt Dijak is simply incredible and I liked him as an addition to the broadcast team. Gacy could potentially have few interesting interactions with Spears in the near future but ngl, I do not think he's nowhere near where he was a few years ago. After Schism, I slowly started to lose my interest in him. Natalya vs Lola Vice didn't connect at the most times but ended up being alright regardless (due to Natalya's experience) and I do like the aspect of veterans helping the new talent so they can keep that up for sure. Dragunov vs Lorenzo was nothing special but was fine for what it was, a 5 min match. Briggs vs Hudson was actually solid and I do think they both could do very well on the main roster however, a refresher will be needed especially for Hudson. They are still relatively young but age will eventually catch them up so I think it's better to repackage them so they can move on from the main roster (and they were both kinda established in the indie scene). The triple threat at Stand&Deliver will be a spectacular powerhouse showcase. Corbin & Breakker against Alpha Academy was a pleasant surprise, I was expecting another mid level match but it delivered. Tozawa deserves a proper NXT run too. 8 year tenure with WWE and apart from his CWC during 205 Live, he did almost nothing. Do people even remember how notable his tenure was with Dragon Gate?"

[9.0] "Yeah It looks like the Wembley All In main event is set (Ospreay vs Swerve) as one of them opened the show and the other closed it (both had incredible matches). Young Bucks are on a run of a lifetime with this new gimmick and also they've got their fire back, really good tv match tonight which highlighted how great Private Party are (They're the future). Really thought the women's match was really great as all the women came to prove a point. Mone's introduction has really awoken something in all of the women in this division and they are on their way to being the #1 division in north America. Swerve/Take was a barnburner and both guys are the future/present of AEW."

[9.0] "Kind of surprised this one is rated lower than you'd expect. This is a damn good match between these two, and I absolutely love the chemistry that they have. Of course, neither man's best work, especially in the past month with Ospreay and Takeshita at Revolution and Shibata and Danielson at Collision, but for a TV match this is absolutely beyond entertaining, and almost on the same level as the latter mentioned match in terms of quality. Insane bumps, great selling, loved the ending, Ospreay and Shibata look absolutely strong and I'm really happy to see these two being used really well in AEW."

[8.0] "I thought this was a very good match, didn't like some of the overbooked stuff at the end with the low blow and the belt shot but I get it because both teams are heels. This really was a showcase for Private Party as it was the best they've looked since the inaugural year of AEW. This is the fire they've been missing since their return after Quen returned. The EVP trigger slip is very unfortunate as there was another slip in the UK/BestFriends tag match in that same area of the ring. Also Private Party hitting 'more bang for your buck' was really great. Great match, I'd go 4.5."

[7.0] "I am used to watch RAW in highlights and it's been like that for a while. Of course after hearing all about how great it was I had to watch it in full and well... It somehow manages to both deserve and not deserve the rating at the exact same time. It's a perspective thing. First of all, the whole show reminded why I used to love WWE and why I grew to hate it. It's a stacked card and sounds incredible on the paper but yet the only saving grace is Ricochet vs JD. Not an unexpected result from two credible athletes but are they going anywhere? I just don't think so. Women wrestling is only barely 2 minutes long and that is CRIMINAL. Yet another no contest between two red hot tag teams, Zayn losing to Reed prior to his WM bout (I like Reed's consisteny but come on... Not in the expense of Zayn). Nakamura is 44 years old and he can go but he is on the damn clock. WWE once again started to screw up his heel run and he seems far more limited than he ever was. He's lost. I still can't disconnect Andrade from C2 so I said it once and will say it twice: He's doing nothing right now and that needs to change asap. He was started to re-elevate himself and he returned to do what exactly? I understand people loved the promos and the old-ish vibes. They were undeniably phenomenal but I want to watch decent wrestling. There is some and then they were barely given TV time and any reasonable booking behind the matches/winners and any solid psychology in addition. I am happy for those who liked the show but some are being mental. I want to care for the entirety of the card. If I can't then it's not as great as people try to make it out to be. That is why I eventually started to grow a dislike towards WWE. If it's not a PLE, I rarely care for the TV matches. But I like the production and it was top notch once again. Props to Rocky boy btw. We were so close to get another Rock vs Cena copycat and then he started to do the god's work and after all he deserves to be people's champion. In the end, I found the rating questionable and I think it's overhyped due to bandwagoning but it was a good show, definitely above average. The lack of solid wrestling and amount of time given compared to the promos given the depth of the roster is just saddening. It's not like you can't focus on storytelling and good wrestling at the same time. That's when you deserve a 10 if you can manage to pull that off. Some excuses to lack of wrestling come off as a straight joke. I don't think I am watching Succession or something."

[9.0] "Only in pro-wrestling there can be a bloody brawl between a chicken and a soldier where amidst all the chaos, all three falls had clean finishes - that's an experience that I never knew I wanted. On top of that, the actual wrestling between these two after they beat the shit out of each other was all about struggle and determination to not be outdone - El Pollo won the first fall when Comando's shoulder was clearly up, but Comando instead of being all pissy about it, decided to cover chicken's yellow suit in blood which was a memorable scenery to say the least, and all that craziness ended with Comando reversing El Pollo's pin attempt with a Crucifix Pin of his own. That's when El Pollo got angry and all hell really broke loose and created an experience that everyone needs to see for themselves, at least for the sake of curiosity."

[9.0] "This was a beautiful match that built tension nicely. I was sitting around a bog standard Takeshita 4.25 rating until the end. Swerve is really good. I mean, REALLY good. In this match, his timing was very good to be in the right positions for all of Take's best shit. He commits so heavily to getting himself there so Takeshita can look devastating. He sells better than just about anyone on the roster except maybe Ospreay and I think that's one of the most important characteristics to have for a top Babyface. Swerve has all the makings of the top guy. I just don't think he's there yet. He still needs to make himself undeniable. As for Takeshita, he is absolutely a complete product and ready to ship. He's a Best Bout Machine, is more believable than most people back there, and provided he has talking mouth and is a heel, he can do anything you want him to do. That being said, I think he's already positioned where he needs to be, just keep him happy. Anyway, utterly insane match. Loved it to tears. It had a handful of seems that don't bother me, but contribute to it not getting the full 5 stars."

[6.0] "Yeah these Shibata matches aren't really doing it for me. Especially here with the no selling and the forearm strikes. Seen it all before except it was in front of a crowd that actually cared. He's definitely taking more bumps than I ever expected though. Kinda hard not to against Ospreay. Good enough match though regardless of my misgivings. Hope they pick a different angle with the Ospreay/Danielson stuff though because Ospreay is coming in hot while Danielson just lost to Eddie Kingston twice, so the question of who the best wrestler is doesn't really ring true here."

[7.0] "That finish really sucked but it's not anyone's fault. Other than that this was really good. It's hard to think Private Party are ever going to be a thing after being with AEW since its inception and having made no movement on the card but if every year they do one of these "hey remember when they beat the Bucks in the early days of AEW" rematches then there will always be something to look forward to with them. Until then I guess we'll see where it goes. Hopefully somewhere other than the Hardy compound."

[5.0] "I really tire of both these teams. Nothing terrible going on here, but I've never been the biggest Kingdom fan and I've moved from being tired of Orange Cassidy to just absolutely not watching when he's on the screen so I looked away for most of the match. Nothing terrible happened here, but nothing too spectacular. The only note I have about the actual performance was about how great Bennet took the Stundog Millionaire. I hate the finish because I don't think an ad-hoc team should be an established team. It makes your tag division look silly, but I get why you would want the blazing hot heel team of the Bucks against a babyface tag team in the next round. Though honestly, I may not even watch it."

[4.0] "This match was disappointing to say the least. That Quen and Kassidy seem to be WORSE wrestlers in 2024 than 2019 is a very depressing reality. Kassidy himself seems to be more interested in memeing like an idiot TikToker than improving his in-ring technique. Maybe the last few years in Matt Hardy's custody has absolutely demolished him. These wrestlers make their pay checks and no longer feel that hunger to be great beyond the bare minimum to get the bag. Young Bucks carry this match easily and got the audience really hooked to an otherwise bad match."

[5.0] "Mercedes Mone was out on commentary for this which... just why? Why is she in the TBS title scene? Why am I watching some combination of Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue for the hundredth time? Even Mercedes doesn't seem to know as she had nothing to say during the match. Willow looked good which is all that matters for the match they're building towards, her vs Mercedes but first they have to get through the lame duck champ Julia first and all that. See how difficult they're making this for no reason?"

[10.0] "An excellent, very exciting main event and one of my favorites in Dynamite history. Swerve worked strongly from behind and built to a very exciting finishing stretch. The two complimented each other well and Takeshita looked great in defeat. Commentary was particularly strong on this match too and really put over both guys. I really enjoyed how it was built to throughout the night. The finishing stretch with Swerve hitting the stomp and Takeshita kicking out was a great false finishing and Takeshita got absolutely spiked on the Big Pressure."

[5.0] "This was one Rampage-ass match. Is Chuck Taylor injured or something? I must've missed it on commentary. It'd be nice to see Trent and him actually win tag gold after so long. Really don't need OC to be in contention for anymore titles or throwaway TV matches. I'm begging for a break. This was just complete filler which any match featuring Taven and Bennett is, no offence to them. It's just how they're booked. They're perfect capable wrestlers like they were in this match but it's all so lifeless."

[9.0] "This one felt special. Hated the sleepy Quebec audience who treated Shibata like a heel, despite the fact that he put his soul in that ring and absolutely dominated Ospreay with sheer technique. Both men wrestled like their lives were on the line, and in Shibata's case, quite literally. This exemplified why Shibata deserves a spot on the main roster, far away from that ROH purgatory TK put him in. His aura as a mid card talent is absolutely insane, there is absolutely zero reason why Tony Khan shouldn't consider him Triple Crown world title material. He certainly deserves it more than Eddie Kingston's phoning it in."

[10.0] "Takeshita is a special special wrestler because he makes everything looking fucking great. Whether it's his opponents moves or the extra oomph he puts into his, I always come away impressed. This looked like a match both are going to be feeling in the morning for better and worse. Swerve is wrestling like he knows he's the next champ. Only downside to this match was it could've been a real great title match in a month or so if they had spent more time reheating Takeshita. Looking forward to the rematch whenever though."
62928.03.2024
05:24
[5.0] "One of the few times I dozed off during an AEW main event. Not that either men did badly, just that everything felt so robotic and choreographed. There was no heat or dynamism to their encounter. This should have felt like a death struggle. It was more than just a generic "best of" move-set medley. Just dreadfully boring and predictable stuff. Also, I couldn't say I was terribly excited to see Takeshita get booked to lose AGAIN. Is it a coincidence that Swerve has lost all of his aura after Hangman left? Joe putting him over as a placeholder for Ospreay will make his world title run an absolute disaster. This one did not restore the feeling. Sorry to say."

[3.0] "Oof. This show was rough. Tag team tournament is ice COLD and is very clearly just buffering until MCMG's debut. The Swerve/Takeshita match was surprisingly low tier work from both men with a way too obvious outcome. Ospreay/Shibata was fun! But also stagnant and did very little for either men. Tony Khan is back to his boring "wrestling ONLY" booking. No feud feels hot, no star presence on the show, no in-ring live mic. Best Friends are awful. Young Bucks are GREAT but Private Party are the drizzling shits. A Dustin Rhodes backstage promo? In 2024? Give me a fucking break. The guy isn't even on his retirement run and TK has ZERO excuse to put him on Dynamite without an angle. Also, Jericho and Hook stuff is just so fucking painful to watch. The most disingenuous desperate Jericho bullshit thus far. Just a very boring disappointing episode overall."

[10.0] "Phenomenal episode Dynamite, bookended by the clear stars of the company, Swerve and Ospreay. The opener was an excellent match that continued to showcase Will Ospreay to a new audience while making Shibata out to be a challenge and a mountain to climb, given their previous encounters. Young Bucks vs. Private Party had a bit of a clunky finish but the match itself was very exciting throughout with great call backs to their previous affairs. The four way women's match was a surprise hit and all four ladies did an incredible job making their case for a shot at the title but the story has clearly been centered around Willow Nightingale and the relationship with Stokely has been a surprisingly great combination. Best Friends vs. Undisputed Kingdom was another sleeper hit that delivered on all fronts and really made Kingdom feel like a strong killer tag team. Best Friends could be a cinderella story in this tournament. The best match was the main event. The vignettes throughout the night built to it strongly and it felt like it delivered everywhere it needed to. Swerve looked resilient, playing off of the injuries earlier in the match and Takeshita looked like a monster that could not be stopped. One of the best Dynamite main events probably ever and it really feels like they have their next top star on their hands. Excellent show. No complaints."

[8.0] "Fascinating time-and-place match in a small room, with a crowd full of vocal fans giving it a good soundtrack. They didn't reinvent the wheel and did pretty much what you would expect them to do, but that's the point, it's just a really good pro-wrestling match. ***3/4"

[7.0] "[3.75*] The second great match from this show that I recommend people to watch. Takeshita may be the best wrestler on the roster at what he does best, if you know what I mean. The guy is such an athletic freak and everything he does (besides the leg slaps) is so believable, he his just gold. Surprisingly, the only reason I am not giving it 8/10 is because of Swerve. Calm down, I love the guy and he is my next World Champion, although I would like Big Joe to hold it a little longer. His issue is: his selling of any limb-work is very bad, and on this match particularly his selling of the shoulder was fucking ass. Like, it was VERY bad. Every other aspect of the match was great, the last few mins were phenomenal, but his selling was atrocious, and this is something he needs to get better at before jumping ship into the PPV ME Scene, because he will have to change this flashy style on these matches, where guys like Bryan and Okada slow down the pace at the beginning and work on a specific part before building momentum to enter the climax. If he manages to evolve that, he will be a 10/10 wrestler. He already has every other attribute + the bonus of being a pretty good technical wrestler."

[5.0] "Was a good match overall, but there was something missing. It just didn't feel like it mattered, and while it was a preshow match, with the people involved, it seems like it should have that feeling to it. They did a good job overall in any event. I just wish there was something else in the match to make it special."

[7.0] "Very good match. I think these chaotic 4 ways are really the best for women over the men's messy ass matches. Very nicely worked. I appreciated that everyone got some awesome shit in. Anna Jay looked insanely good at the beginning of the match and Skye Blue looks the best when she's fighting from the brink of a concussion. There's a lot of spots from both Willow and Statlander that are highlight reel moments especially that DVD on the apron, absolutely sick. Besides that, I can't say that I love teasing a breakup angle with Willow and Stat when they're such a good compliment to each other, but one of them won and I'm really excited for that Willow / Julia Hart match."

[8.0] "Two fantastic matches. Everything else was snacks compared to opener & finisher but they were a treat to watch anyway. YB finally had a competitive match in which Private Party had a decent chance of winning. You don't doubt YB was going to win but close falls still were executed decently and YB is carrying their current persona better than their previous heel gimmicks. I like the doucheness of them. Four Way match exceeded the expectations although it was quite clear Nightingale was going to win. She's highly likely to leave Dynasty as the TBS champion and move onto a feud with Mone up from there. In the match itself nothing really happened between Statlander and Nightingale. I can't quite tell if those two fall off eventually but given Statlander's increasing track record of losing something needs to happen. Best Friends vs The Kingdom was an average tv match, probably the worst of the bunch. Not solely because of its structure, it really did have its moments but The Kingdom despite being the ROH World Tag Champs and being in a supposedly dominating faction usually come off as goofs. It's not like there are many options: You are either not going to book them into the tournament or you'll have them winning at least the first round. Commentary team suggested Kingdom could be looking for to unify ROH&AEW tag belts which didn't help the situation a bit. You just don't do that. The booking of Undisputed Kingdom (especially the Kingdom though) has been going downhill recently and Roddy's win really didn't give them the momentum they needed. On the other hand, Best Friends is the New Day of AEW's expect for the fact they are underpushed. CHAOS needs the trios belts asap if not a whole heel turn for them all (perhaps minus OC). Main Event killed it and that's all you need to know about it. Takeshita could be a worthy contender to defeat Edge (or even going back to face to defeat Okada later). I hope that sooner than later AEW will decide to put a belt on him and he'll have a memorable reign. Swerve on the other hand is most definitely going to dethrone Joe, the question is how."

[5.0] "Not that great. Pretty messy. Some very nice highspots and OK storytelling, but this felt like Young Bucks were dragging these guys around to pick up the pace and they were trying to slow it down to sell the moments more. Was it a bad match? No. It just wasn't very good and I can't say I cared who won by the end of it. I've never been impressed with Private Party and this kind of proved it for me. They're not a great act. Bucks feel a little long in the tooth to me too, but if their opponents are good they can still pull a banger out. This was not a banger, but not terrible either."

[6.0] "There was a lot of action in the nine minutes but it didn't feel like it meant much. The Willow/Skye/Statlander feud/friendship/whatever has been milked dry by this point so they're running on fumes to make these interactions interesting and Anna Jay was clearly slotted in for no reason other than to job. Then you had Mercedes on commentary who sounded like she would rather be anywhere else than there. Unless she's still not cleared I have no idea why she hasn't wrestled already and won this match even because her on the mic is not it and the story they're trying to play up isn't either."

[9.0] "Loved it from a purely athletic standpoint. Can't really disagree on some of the criticism about the selling or lackthereof but this was a case were the positives outweighed the negatives for me and it was just great to see two hungry guys go after it. Takeshita keeps losing but he at least gets to show what a beast he is in the ring. He might be outshining the guys he's putting over he's that freakishly good. But Swerve was up there with him here and proving he's gonna make an exciting champ pretty soon."

[9.0] "9.5/10 I really liked this match, two great wrestlers in some of the best shapes of their lives so you know it was gonna be good pretty much no matter what and it was. so much has been said about this match already that I wont sound like a broken record repeating something someone else has already said. does it deserve 5 stars like many say? I mean sure, if thats how you feel, however the finish leaves something for me to be desired so I can't give this a 5 star, however I will give it ****.75"

Some brawling around, mostly running away, everyone goes home happy having seen Piper vanquish the evil King. [] "A fun quick high-paced match with 2 good teams. I do feel like it could have used a few more minutes to kick it into another gear but still good."

[5.0] "This match was fluid and had glimpses of being very good, but it never kicked it into higher gear. Cody's heel work is on point here, but Ted isn't exactly inspiring as a babyface. It makes a lot of the dynamic rest on Cody. Considering this angle was supposed to be Ted's revenge after being mistreated by him, you'd think he'd be more over, or this would be hotter, but it didn't seem like the people in the building cared about him all that much, and that weighed the match down. Definitely some good sequences and fun offense, but it just didn't live up to the potential it might have had. I also think it ended abruptly right at a time where you'd feel like it was going to start kicking into second gear. Not bad by any means, but disappointing in a lot of ways."

[7.0] "[3.75*] I thought this match was pretty good. To be fair, I was actually loving it until the last 5 minutes, which seems to be a pattern of mine on these Will TV matches, because they started to get overbooked like PPV main events and I end up being quite tired. This was no different, I was enjoying it a lot, and Shibata did a very cool Kickout At 1 spot, but then Ospreay did the exact same spot 3 seconds later to a no-reaction from the crowd because they did not have time to breathe between one spot to another, and this is not good for television. The Hidden Blade kickout was very unnecessary too people told us to chill because he was putting Kyle over at the first time, but it seems like it will be a weekly occurrence. Anyways, before that things were excellent and The Wrestler gave us a stellar performance, taking some nasty bumps."

[1.0] "There was absolutely nothing The Big Boss Man could have done here. Nailz was terrible, and this just kind of hammered home that theme. Only true reason it gets a 1 rating is that it was bad enough it was still slightly entertaining, even if for all the wrong reasons."

[4.0] "The very first match between Hogan and Andre The Giant. Its so weird seeing Hogan as the heel here and Andre as the face knowing what will happen in the next years. The match itself is very quick and it ended in DQ. The highlight of the match is of course Hogan body slamming Andre which means he had already body slammed him in WM 3."

[9.0] "A great match between Piper and Hart, with the story of Piper fighting with aggressiveness as Hart withstands Piper's attacks, so Piper hits harder and harder. The match was great, and it's interesting seeing two legends from different eras of WWE in the ring together."

[4.0] "Outside of a couple of matches there is nothing here to see. This show is headlined by a team of men who are immobile, against a tag team of people that don't seem to care. Too much was thrown in just for the sake of having something there. I wasn't expecting too much given the card, and I was given what I expected."

[8.0] "This was a strong episode both in the ring and the backstage segments. I would say that the only misses were the awkward Jericho/Hook segment and seeing the charisma black holes Undisputed Kingdom on my tv again. Ospreay has a solid opener with Shibata that nobody thought Ospreay would lose, but as a showcase match it did the job. The backstage segment with the Bucks, with Nick almost corpsing Renee was fun, as was the following tag match with Private Party. The Bucks have a history of losing matches people are certain they're going to win, so I wasn't 100% certain who would win there. The ladies put on a good show with some hard hitting spots. Not sure how necessary the match was, given Julia does many open challenges, but that's whatever. I think Willow has a good chance of winning at Dynasty and she's put in the work to deserve it. I laughed when the Bucks interrupted the Best Friend's hug, only to go BACK DOWN the fucking elevator one minute later, they're so stupid and I love it. Main event was great, but I'll be sad to see Joe lose his title to Swerve, not because I don't love Swerve but just because Joe is so great at promos as champion. Please shift Takeshita to the International scene and belt him up ffs."

[4.0] "Was okay, nothing more. Nothing stood out any more than anything else. Seeing The Jumping Bomb Angels is always nice, and were probably the stars of this match as I would expect. Otherwise it was just average, which is fine, as a lot of the matches during this time followed the same psychology."

[3.0] "Couldn't get into this one, just felt like one guy hitting a move, then the other getting up and hitting a move on repeat. It felt like there wasn't really a story to the match (apart from Swerve selling his neck during the middle of the match) or a flow to it. Swerve hit a swerve stomp to Takeshita on the ring apron, rolled him in then Takeshita just begins working over Swerve. Felt like there was no thought put into the match. The technical aspects of the match (like the moves and how well they were performed) were however very good"

[5.0] "This match had an old-school late 80's/early 90's feel to it terms of psychology that made it feel fresh compared to many matches at the time. The manager interfering and getting thrown out, the shot into the post...a lot of staples of yesteryears that had fallen out of favor. And while this match is never dull, and keeps your attention the whole time, it also never really gets good either. There's very little drama to it, and it's both guys just kind of going through their staple stuff. I wouldn't exactly call it "Raw main event" quality, but it's only a step or two higher than that. The hot crowd almost made me give this 6 points, but it truly just did nothing original or spectacular at all, especially for a WWE title match and change, that it wasn't worth it. It's a solid match. It serves its purpose. It does nothing wrong. But there's very little remarkable about it at the same time."

[4.0] "This was okay, but suffered from the fact of who the obvious winner would be. It wasn't given much time to build anything, but it wasn't glaringly bad either. They have some chemistry, but was just a basic match to fill time and get over what they needed to get over."
67128.03.2024
04:10
[7.0] "A fun match with good chemistry and entertaining ending sheningans. Despite the Bucks working a more grounded heel style now, they still work a dynamic match and Private Party fill in the crowd popping spots. There were some pretty hard bumps (the falcon arrow off the guardrail) and a couple nice call backs/false finishes I bit on. The double-cheat at the end was well done, and the crowd was invested. Nick's foot slipping during the EVP trigger was so jarring I immediately thought he might be hurt, but they powered through for the finish. I do think Private Party need to evolve their gimmick, as they haven't changed AT ALL since debuting. Yes, Isiah tried some entertaining stuff with Matt Hardy, but that doesn't translate anything new into the tag team."

[8.0] "Great match! Well worked. Will knows this man so well and let him get all this shit in. Built really nice for the high spots that came at the end and I really enjoyed the in-ring storytelling. Something you might want to look for is how insanely well Ospreay sold Shibata's Figure Four when they were PiP. It jumped out of that little box for me. Ending was hot as well. The dodgin of the hidden blade into that Storm Breaker was just insanely good. Look, I twas Shibata and had a brain bleed so bad I almost died, I wouldn't take that shit, but I'm not a pro-wrestler and he is. Honestly, great match. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed it."

[8.0] "This was a very good episode of Dynamite with a lot of action. The Ospreay vs Shibata match was decent; Bucks vs Private Party was alright; The Women's Fatal Four Way was very good and showcased each talent extremely well and this was probably Anna Jay's best match of her career. Best Friends vs Undisputed Kingdom was all alright as well. The best part of the night was Swerve vs Takeshita and it was an outstanding match/ main event. Overall I give this an 8/10; a really strong episode of AEW Dynamite."

A "Lacey sucks" chant breaks out before the match, angering Lacey. This was a bit sloppy, mostly due to Lacey's inexperience, but it wasn't embarrassing.."

You can tell he was having so much fun teaming with Riddle. It's a shame this team was cut short because of Randy's injury and Riddle's release."

[9.0] "This match was amazing. Here are my favorite moments of the match. Handshake into awesome grappling was a really cool start. Swerve hitting a neck breaker onto the middle rope which was cool. Takeshita hit a nice brain buster on Swerve after countering Swerve who tried to do a transition to something else. Swerve hit Takeshita with a nice German to only get punched in the face by Takeshita and then falls to the floor good sequence. "I know how to bury people in 4 languages" - Don Callis LMAO dude has no chill. Swerve jumped over the top rope and then hit a fucking hurricanrana what a maniac. Takeshita hit Swerve with an insane over the top Tope, great shit. Takeshita hitting Swerve with the Poisonrana and then a blue thunder bomb for a near fall was amazing. They were countering each others moves for a bit and swerve got an advantage and went for a pin and only got a 2 count. Then they did the same thing again but this time Takeshita got the upper hand and only got a 2 count when he attempted to pin swerve. More just back and forth offense all the way till the finish where Swerve hit Takeshita with a Big Pressure for the pin. So many great counters and they were so buttery smooth together. I hope we get this match up several more times in the future."

[10.0] "Fantastic episode of dynamite tonight. Its absolutely clear that Swerve and Ospreay are the future of the company and heading towards an epic clash down the line. loved both the opener and the main event tonight, with tons of good stuff in between. still a ways to go before the PPV but all the big matches are already taking shape nicely. the two tag tournament matches delivered as well and the ladies 4 way was really entertaining. AEW dynamite has been on a great run as of late and tonight continued that great streak in my opinion"

[7.0] "I enjoyed it for what it was. A nice little TV match to get Ospreay over some more with a guy who carries some real weight. Shibata didn't get much of a reaction for his stuff unfortunately, and that kinda kills the whole fighting spirit stuff when they do it to a pretty subdued crowd. Still very good. Really thought they might hit the 20 minute draw to further the story between Ospreay and Bryan. Would have been an interesting wrinkle and made Bryan feel a bit more of a threat but I get not wanting to do Ospreay like that right now."

The bucks with a challenging match finally and they are still great and I think they are ready to carry the titles again, the Elite are doing good 4. Private Party did a great job and I hope they don't lose TV time 5. Best friends get their flowers but their time is over by next week 6. Undisputed Kingdom need a lot of work they are still behind me unfortunately 7. Swerve and Takeshita really did what I thought they will will and even exceeded"

[8.0] "Tonight had a much more sedate feel than the past few weeks, and maybe that's for the best; the product has certainly been cantering along at top gear since just before Revolution and, in all honesty, I think we should take a breather episode when we can get it. There really wasn't a single bad match on the card - indeed, the curtain-jerker and main event were both really good - but there was definitely some lack of energy that stops the show from being that much greater than the sum of its parts."

[8.0] "I really enjoyed this match and I am looking forward to see what Ospreay will do next. AEW is pushing him big time and I wouldnt be surprised if he wins the World Championship by the end of the year. Shibata really showed his talented striking and technical skills. While Ospreay showed off incredibly diverse combinations of striking and high flying. Although the ending felt a bit rushed to me, I still enjoyed this match a lot. ****1/4"

[5.0] "These teams have good chemistry together but it takes way too much to get any sort of interest out of Taven and Bennett for this to rise above just alright, and that's what this was. Even still I kinda feel bad for them because they are ROH tag champs and have done nothing but lose on TV. Doesn't exactly get the mover as a faction, nor does it entice wondering minds to think ROH is anything to care about either. OC and Trent go on and will probably continue this teased breakup that's been in the works for what feels like years now."

[7.0] "I thought this was really good until about the closing stretch where they might have missed the peak and overdone some stuff. The slip on the BTE Trigger was unfortunate too but it happens. Seemed like a slippery ring tonight for some reason. But the match before all that was really great and a nice reminder of Private Party's potential but also the early days of AEW and the upset between them and the Bucks. They played on that well here and this did feel like a return to form for PP after injuries and being chained to Matt Hardy for what seems like forever."

[6.0] "I love Amazing King, especially back during this era when she was a monster. And she just brutalizes Nikki Roxx during this match. Nikki showed bursts of making a comeback, but Kong was too much for her."

03:20
[5.0] "Not much heat to this one as Statlander has been a losing streak, Anna Jay has been on a losing streak (even losing to someone outside the promotion in her last match), and then you have Skye Blue and Willow who are perennial losers as well but at least you can see Willow was getting a push going into this which made the outcome obvious, right down to who was eating the pin. Why this all needed to be done for a title that is just open challenges I do not know but the match was fine enough but felt very meaningless."
69928.03.2024
03:18
[8.0] "Great match to put Swerve over the top as the heir apparent to the AEW World Title. Takeshita though really just looked amazing here. He always does but he doesn't get big wins so at some point something will have to give with him and not just being used like this to put over others before it loses its effect and starts to harm him. Anyways, really great movement between them after some initial tentativeness. They found the rhythm and were locked in sync before the end and the stomp looked absolutely brutal."

[7.0] "Good match, but am I the only one that thinks the "fighting spirit" no-sells and the kickouts at one are getting old? I understand that's part of Japanese professional wrestling, but it takes away from the effectiveness of certain moves if wrestlers can just shrug it off like it's nothing, and takes away from the believability of maneuvers that are supposed to finish the match. Other than that, this was still a good technical showcase between Ospreay and Shibata. I liked the video flashback of their 2017 match, showing how much Ospreay has grown since then. 4/5"
