[8.0] "A great display of 1970s scientific wrestling, and Terry Funk spices things up towards the end when things have some trouble clicking. The match does have some lulls, but it's a very enjoyable match when viewed as a whole. It's not the most exciting matwork in existence, but the process behind it is very much worth viewing. Horst Hoffman and Billy Robinson worked quite well with each other and Terry Funk has a great dynamic with Robinson in particular. ****1/2"

[] "This match was mostly pretty whatever for me, but I've got to say that Fukigen Death throwing Mayu Iwatani into a referee, then pushing them both forward so the referee inadvertently performs a bulldog on Mayu, was pretty damn great..."

[10.0] "One of the best wrestlers of all time, and this generation, most gifted, one of my favorites, i love watching his matches, he has one of the best matches ive seen in my life. Amazing wrestler."

[4.0] "This match was poorly constructed. The long-reigning world champion begins with a lacking confidence and slowly rises to meet her "rival" head-on. The big issue with the execution of this story is that Athena has no reason to actually fear Shida? Not really? Coupled with that, the match itself is a one-upmanship fight that makes the dire mistake of moving sluggishly toward that kind of workrate and only ever picks up in speed and ferocity at the very end. The last thing a fighting spirit sequence should feel like is slow. I did appreciate a handful of inbetween moments, namely counters and dodges that looked well-done or painful, but there was nothing lasting about this match. [2.75]"

[7.0] "This was a very strong second show for AEW that despite not having as much hype as Double or Nothing or not having a card as good on paper as the Double or Nothing's one, still managed to deliver. Cody once again stole the show as his match with Darby Allin turned out to be a little gem. Star-making perfomance from Darby that made him into star. However the match of the night goes to The Elite vs. Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid. Just a classic PWG-style spotfest, so stupid yet so reckless and fun. Moxley vs. Janela was a good main event which on a re-watch comes off as a bit worse than I remembered. I also really liked the women's three way, really fun to watch. Only downside CIMA vs. Daniels which wasn't bad but just below average. The four way was solid. 7/10"

[7.0] "I remeber really liking this match but on a re-watch this was kinda underwhelming. Don't get me wrong it was good and there was some crazy stuff but I felt like AEW has done stuff way better than this. I just think that comes off as a bit generic as far as these kind of matches go. There were good spots that, however, have already been seen without much cohesion between them. However I appreciate both men for putting their bodies through all of this and, actually, there were a couple of things that stood out. The elbow drop of the ladder was great and all the final part with the thumbtacks was amazing, especially Janela being put through the tacks barefoot. In the post-match Omega attacked Moxley as a revenge for Double or Nothing which was really fun. ***1/2"

[8.0] "Another outstanding performance from Morris and Greene, they are slowly earning the top spots in the tag team of the year award at this point. Kiyomiya and Oiwa are two amazing young workers and all four guys had clearly very good chemistry with one and another doing some cool sequences and spots but never going too much on the no-selling end. Great main event. 4 stars."

[8.0] "Totally appreciated the urgency these two brought - like both men knew they couldn't afford to gift their rival an inch. Kiyomiya's early dominance was so-so as he's not the most convincing aggressor while his foe offers zero resistance. But once Kenoh found his way into the fight this was a full-on war with the best fighting spirit spots you'll see in this era of no-sell nonsense ****"

[6.0] "On paper this match is crazy, you got Akira Taue & Makoto Hashi? Amazing right? It's actually just fine, mostly Hashi taking a beating from Inoue and Honda who in my opinion are not at their best when teaming together. Still it's not a bad match, just uneventful. 3 stars"

[9.0] "An amazing deathmatch between two absolute masters of the style. This is the classic Freedoms' main event structure with a couple of crazy spots with glass and light tubes and with also a few very very nice twists, being the stipulation a Caribbean Style Deathmatch. 4.5 stars for me."

[8.0] "More great stuff. Azutami are so fun together. Even though I'm not too big of a Mai fan, I think she did well here, and seeing QQ imitate her shtick was funny. Utami forgetting she wasn't legal was funny too. The match really picked up when Mei got in, she's pretty much always the MVP of these house shows. She and AZM are dynamite in the ring together, that should definitely be a White Belt programme some day. Another good match on a really good show!"

[7.0] "Very very cool title match. Kevin expresses perfectly his desire to win, from the start of the match he throws himself into Race trying in every way possible to get away with the win as early as he can. Race bumps and sells very good and both men take advantage of the throws over the top rope being legal here: Race is the one that gets the most from them and manages to injury Kevin's left shoulder, which the Von Erich sells masterfully. The finish is great too with the babyface getting all the sympathy in trying to overcome this impossible challenge but, in the end, David coming in and costing his brother the title shot is really a great piece of booking. 3.5 stars for this."

[1.0] "I found this match rather quite terrible, two guys in their 40s pretty much past their prime wrestling here. Nothing really good happened here, just slow punches head butts, and knees. And of course Ron Bass won. Wish he used the pedigree and not some stupid awful looking back spinning elbow for the victory."

[] "A solid match between the veterans and the rookies, Tam Nakano really carried this match, Kurara is very good, and Aya continues to improve, Yunamon did well. I just thought Saori and Poi didn't participate much but they were good combinations of moves. Stardom will have a bright future with these rookies Kurara and Aya, I hope to come back here one day and see that I was right."

[9.0] "Wonderful bout and a celebration of llave-style lucha. The story going in of the two students of Negro Navarro and Skayde proving who is the better man was more than enough to keep me invested. The counter-exchanges and incredible flexibility on display from both athletes made it my match of the night, only a bit sweeter because of my longterm fondness for Angelico from back in the Lucha Underground days. Highly recommend."

[0.0] "Meandering on for ever and a day, these two men fought on the outside and introduced a weapon and fought on the outside some more and slowed it down to talk into the microphones pointed at the crowd and they did this for 20 minutes. It was as if the stars were dying and fading as the minutes kept climbing up and up, no thrills and no alarms, a dispelling of energy and not anything more. Not a single thing about this fight was worth the time spent, not a single solitary thing was of note. [1.25]"

[5.0] "This was Ray Gordy's pro wrestling debut, and I will do my best to not talk about biscuits or gravy during the duration of his short NOAH run. This battle royale is fine, it's like most low-card battle royales just there to have a little fun, I do like them at the start of the year. Kanemaru of course thrives in this environment, quickly gaining and discarding allies. 2.75 stars"

[10.0] "Amazing roster, presentation and feel. Really enjoyable to play. I truly believe this is as close to a perfect 3d wrestling game as we have gotten"

[9.0] "Atsushi Kotoge already got a contender for the best face in peril spot of the year (probably won't beat Sting from Revolution but maybe a good second place). Jun Akiyama & Yuji Nagata are two grumpy old men beating the shit outta this twenty five looking nearly forty year old man. The chemistry between Akiyama & Kotoge is so damn, it really reminded me of how Kawada would treat Akiyama back in the 90s. Go doesn't do a whole lot but he's still good when he needs to fight the odds. Nagata brought it as well, props to him taking that shoot headbutt, what a beast. ****1/2"

[10.0] "All timer. Stiff strikes, quick pace, incredible babyface/heel dynamic, loud crowd, incredible mat wrestling, brutal moves. Pretty much perfect. Loved the ending. Low *****."

[6.0] "I think this match had a good story going into it with Cody wanting to team up with Dustin to have a friendly fight against hat he considers the best tag team in the world however the Bucks made it personal when they mocked Cody and Dustin. But, honestly, whenever I think about the term "focred epic" this is one of the first matches that comes to my mind. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad match by any means. As a matter of fact there were some really good sequences and the wrestling was objectivaly good but overall this was just way too long and overly indulgent. It wanted to be an epic but many times simply comes off as boring. I feel like they tried to replicate the magic between Cody and Dustin at Double or Nothing but they simply failed. The Bucks wrestling at such a slower pace isnt their thing but I liked the chemistry between Cody and Dustin. It definitely didn't have to go 30+ minutes and they clearly didnt have the tools to make it interesting for all those 30 minutes. Overall this was a good match that couldve been great but got ruined by the presuption of the men involved who thought they could pull it out easily. A dissapointment but definitely not a bad match. ***1/4"

[6.0] "A solid four way match with a couple of nice moments. Nothing was truly remarkable but all four men did their jobs well and the action was enjoyable all throughout all the match. The tower of doom spot was great. MJF's heel tactics were fun and I liked his sharpshooter exchange with Hangman. I also liked the ending which was a nice callback to the ending of Double or Nothing's Casino Battle Royal. Of course the focus was on Hangman and MJF and both men really shined. Jungle Boy had his moments, especially his moonsault on the outside which was cool while Havoc didn't do much for me. Predictable win for Hangman to gain momentum ahead of his World title match at All Out. ***"

[6.0] "This was a very solid tag team match. It had a bit of a slow start and there were a couple of strange moments but it definitely improved in the final minutes with the crowd also waking up after being dead for most of the match. Overall I'd say the action was quite entertaining and fun. Nothing extraordinary but there were a couple of nice sequences and spots done very well, in particular Evans' moonsault on Taylor. Evans and Angelico looked silly in their green suits but they impressed me with a lot of great combinated moves. Best Friends looked good as well, they were definitely the most over with the crowd although Taylor looked sloppy a couple of times. ***1/4"

[8.0] "Very fun triple threat and my match of the night I would say. A lot of innovative high flying with the crowd eating everything up as well as tossing money in the ring after the matchs conclusion."

[9.0] "Let's put the negative out of the way first. I really think Gunther should've retained. Gable or Breakker would've benefitted more from beating Gunther than Sami. He's already over and wouldn't get more over from beating Gunther. Now, about the match. What a great match. Easily the match of the night. Gunther taunting Sami's wife, the underdog fire and comeback from Sami Zayn, everything was done to perfection. Popped hard for the Brainbustaaaaaah spot. Ode to El Generico. A certified Mania classic."

[8.0] "When they get vicious and violent, this match is amazing. The best moments are when Hansen brutalizes and attacks Misawa in desperation, and the subsequent comebacks by Misawa. Their chemistry is lacking when the match slows down, especially towards the start. The middle and end make this a must-watch. Low ****."

[6.0] "Solid trios match. Some good action as one would expect with a bit of an underwhelming ending. Preferred the opening trios match a bit more."

[7.0] "Enjoyable main event match. Nice to see Jason Kincaid in a bigger spot as he has been underrated for quite some time."

[4.0] "Steves digital title reign has not done much for me. Match was ok prior to the pretty underwhelming ending."

[7.0] "This was a pretty fun NOAH trios match. Although I am only familiar with Nagata, Suzuki, and Takayama, I thought all six of them put on a fairly intriguing tag match."

[7.0] "Started off as more of a comedic two on one with Kouki & Natsuki working against Mari before an informal match restart in which the match picked up with Natsuki eventually getting a surprise upset win."

[10.0] "One of the greatest matches of all time and still in my opinion the greatest G1 final ever, which is saying a lot. Brilliant character work and a masterclass on surpassing your limits. Tanahashi's last climb to the top of NJPW meets Kota Ibushi's seemingly inevitable destiny of being the companies top star. This match is amazing. It's an epic match that doesn't try to be epic, it just happens organically. So many unforgettable moments; Tanahashi willing himself through "Murder Ibushi's" shoot strikes, Ibushi hitting that nasty moonsault with the double knees, Tanahashi still hitting picture perfect bridging Dragon and Straight Jacket suplexes passed age 40. Ibushi hitting that spider middle rope German Suplex, Tanahashi hitting the nastiest Sling Blade ever. All of it is so perfect. The wise old veteran against the rising star who worships the ground he walks on but also knows it's his time. And if he has to destroy his idol, he's willing to do so. But Tanahashi flat out will not be beaten. The story is great and it's simple and it just works on so many levels. Nobody displays emotion without ever seeming corny or not genuine to the level that Tanahashi does. This match is legendary. 2018 was a legendary year. *****"

[10.0] "I loved this match. It is the pinnacle of what stories mean in professional wrestling. One of the best matchs in the history of this business. I understand that there are people who don't like it. But that there are people who hate him, I can't understand that. It is WWE at its best, in any case, this match will go down in history as one of the best ME in the history of WM. Only perhaps surpassed by the ME of WM17 between Stone Cold vs The Rock. Cody's coronation, the end of Roman's historic reign, Rollins sacrificing himself, The rock, Cena and Undertaker's interventions. Uffff Beautiful Match and a conclusion at the height of this epic story (both for the technical level they demonstrated, and for the level of epicness they offered)."

[] "A quick, solid match in which Ami Sourei helps demonstrate the talents and potential of Ranna Yagami, a young rookie who I think shows a ton of promise."

[8.0] "Very pleasantly surprised with how good this match was, especially for a throwaway tag. Sayaka continues to be my favourite Stardom rookie, and her selling and physicality here really impressed me. This served as a nice showcase match for her, I think she has a great future as an underdog babyface in the Kamitani / babyface SLK mold. Saya was great as a cocky vet against Sayaka, absorbing her shots and giving it back tenfold. Yunamon also had nice flashes as Sayaka's mentor. Miyu and Sayaka had the real meat of the match towards the end, and her rise to prominence in QQ continues to be a nice story to follow. There were a couple of really convincing near falls towards the end, adding to the drama. Overall, great match!"

[10.0] "How do I put into words my appreciation for my favorite wrestling match of all time? The year was 2017 and by this time in my life, Wrestle Kingdom was my Christmas. I had always been a fan of NJPW but more from tapes of the 90's stuff than the current product. Then, around 2012 I started checking out NJPW because I was hearing about Hiroshi Tanahashi and these insane G1 tournaments and I was in. For almost 5 years I tried to get people to check out NJPW but I couldn't get through to anyone until the Wrestling Gods gifted us this masterpiece that could serve as the bridge to expose NJPW to the western commercial world. A rivalry born purely out of competition of sport; the biggest stage possible and two stars that absolutely break the world with a revolutionary blend of athleticism; in-ring story telling, drama and high spots. I've talked about the pageantry that exists in Pro Wrestling; unforgettable epic entrances by both guys. Kenny Omega; the Terminator and G1 Climax winner. And of course; Kazuchika Okada, the new ace and unbeatable champion. Nobody moves quite like Omega in the ring, the momentary twitchy explosiveness meets Okada's calm confidence. This match is literally everything; the table spot was horrifying; Omega's top rope Dragon Suplex was diabolical, Okada's dropkick defies physics and Kenny Omega shouldn't be able to move this way for a guy his size. Nobody sells the Rainmaker as a devastating finisher like Omega and nobody brings out the sleeping emotion inside Okada like Omega. An exhilarating closing stretch including all of the legendary spots that would be further expanded upon in the later matches of this epic rivalry. The opening chapter to all time greatness. Favorite match ever."

[6.0] "The only match I remember watching live other than the last two matches. It was a fun match. I met Senza Volto and Mike Bailey at the break."

[7.0] "Another great match, codebreaker reversal to win was great. AJ showing why he is technically one of the best ever but why did he not get the win here?"

[4.0] "I mean, I get it. The whole concept of this match was to make Jade look good. That's their big money investment, I get it. But being a big Asuka fan, it saddens me to see her lose another Mania match. And what's the point of the women's tag team championships again?"

[6.0] "A "meh" shoot-style match between Tony St. Clair and Yoshihiro Takayama. I've never really watched wrestling of this genre and I feel like this might be a bad place to start, but oh well."

[5.0] "The generic flippy guys team (no offence, but when you group them together like that...) really had no business going the distance with an actual faction and one that's supposed to be a big bad threat but this was still very entertaining regardless of that."

[6.0] "This was just to reheat Shibata. You could argue going ten minutes with Lee Moriarty isn't the best way to do that but I think they made it work here. Honestly I could go for some Shibata squashes and just building him up as the Terminator."

[5.0] "Not bad for a five minute match. Practically a squash but I still found it worthwhile. Garcia isn't high enough on the card to justify a complete squash on Angelico, they probably could've got more out of this if they wanted."

[5.0] "Unless I missed something, this was the first match of the AEW and Stardom collab, right? Kind of a soft start to the partnership but also sets the expectations accordingly I think. This was alright but nothing remarkable. Toni Storm didn't do any of the stuff that derails her matches with the Timeless gimmick but she's still not the most interesting worker. AZM looked good for her debut on TV."

[7.0] "Nice faction warfare match. This wasn't just a standard tag, they actually tried some cool stuff here. Collision should really carve out its niche for that kind of thing."

[5.0] "A boring kick-and-punch brawl between an early Finlay and Tony St. Clair. Maybe I would have liked it more if I wasn't watching it through grainy VHS fan footage, probably not, who knows."

[6.0] "Not a bad Sakura Genesis this year, with a couple of good matches, a match that was terrible, and the rest were average to okay. Boltin Oleg, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano vs Ayato Yoshida, Chicharito Shoki & Takuro Niki: The non NJPW trio held their own against the NJPW trio even in defeat, Oleg getting the win was the right choice [**3/4]. TMDK vs El Desperado & Ryusuke Taguchi: An odd pairing of Desperado and Taguchi, Fujita continues to improve more and more, ZSJ showcased great technical wrestling [***]. BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi vs David Finlay & Gedo: I did not get invested in this one, as my interests dwindled [*1/4]. Just 5 Guys vs United Empire: A house show standard multi man match, the action was average at best [**1/2]. BC War Dogs vs Catch 22 vs Intergalactic Jet Setters: I enjoyed this one more than I thought I was going to, all three teams showcased great tag wrestling [****1/4]. Bishamon vs Chase Owens & KENTA: An alright match, slow to get started but towards the end was good [***]. SHO vs YOH: Cant say much but what a fucking waste of under 2 minutes [-*]. Jon Moxley & Shota Umino vs Jack Perry & Ren Narita: Chaotic match as expected, Mox and Umino winning was the right choice [***1/4]. Shingo Takagi vs EVIL: A typical HoT match with the usual tactics, Shingo winning was a surprise [**3/4]. Tetsuya Naito vs Yota Tsuji: A half decent title match, the action was okay but could have been booked better, the pacing was slow at times [***]"

[8.0] "Both look impressive in combination. It's a bout full of craziness, with some spot that you don't see often"

[10.0] "in my opinion the best of the trilogy even at almost an hour it never felt too long or dragged, the fact that two of the best technical wrestlers of the modern era were the ones to go 50 mins probably helps that. By this point Danielsons heel persona is fully developed when one thinks of "ROH Bryan Danielson" this is the Danielson you are probably thinking (9.5)"

[0.0] "One of the worst WrestleMania matches of all time. I've been saying it all along, neither Uso is good enough to have a singles career. I don't get all the hype and crowd support Jey's been getting recently. Both have extremely limited movesets (Punch, Superkick, Spear, Samoan Drop, Splash, and did I say SUPERKICK? ). I hope they put them back together again as soon as possible. This was like viewing a bad Young Bucks match."

[7.0] "Solid show. Kohaku vs Chisako and the Main Event are the highlights. I didn't know Honoka and Tanaka as champions going in, so the way the tag title match unraveled was surprising. The 3-Way comedy match wasn't great but it was fun Ito continually crushing Hirota."

[8.0] "How has nobody rated this yet ? Great title fight to a 30 minute draw. Umesaki does a great job fighting upwards the bigger champion. She does nail some nice throws and suplexes."

[3.0] "Jeez... This was not a good show at all. While little was offensively bad (that Freebirds match was pretty awful), everything was very boring, and I don't think there is a single match on the card that I'd call 'good'. I was looking forward to Steiner vs. Flair, and while it was at least watchable, it ended up being quite possibly Flair's worst title match period (with the obvious exception of the rotten match with Sting from Starrcade 1990). Couple that with the fact that the match was already incredibly predictable and had a lame finish, and what was a 'one match card' in the first place really had nothing at all going for it. And despite all of these criticisms, somehow this was still the easy choice for MOTN. You know something is seriously wrong when I get more entertainment out of the idiotic (and probably offensive? ) intergender arm wrestling match between Heyman and Hyatt than any of the actual wrestling on the show... At least that managed to make me laugh, even if it was for sheer absurdity..."

[8.0] "Only three things that make me not give this a 10 is Seth Rollins role in this story before he revealed on RAW why he wanted to fight The Bloodline. It was so forced and the only reason behind it was just making the Tag match to make this story look bigger; the fact this didn't hit me as much as other promos like the "Ucey" one, the trial of Sami Zayn or the Punk/Rollins/McIntyre tirade; and how Cody Rhodes, all of a sudden, changes his mind (actually, for the better, but everything they did with him prior to this event made him the dumbest guy in the world). Anything else was just perfect. The Rock's heel work as The Final Boss as been superb. The way he reads the room and adapts to the situation with so much ease is indescribable. He made the entire segment mean something, while Seth and Roman were mere supporters and Cody entered to take the spotlight as the hero and bring out the hyprocrisy of Dwayne."

[5.0] "Man... I really wanted to love this, but it was extreme underwhelming. On paper it looked like Flair and Steiner would mesh really well, but in practice they appeared to have no chemistry whatsoever. The match layout was clunky, and far removed from Flair's classic bouts with Luger and Sting. In fact, Flair was in control for the majority of the match. This makes enough sense on paper considering he was the champion, but when you factor in how giving Flair often is with his other opponents, as well as how much Steiner relies on being able to manhandle his opponents, it really undermined Scott for him to be fairly easily controlled for such a significant portion of the match. This could have still been workable, but matters were made worse by how flat Steiner was whenever he would attempt a comeback. He had nowhere near the explosivity of a Luger or a Sting here. I'm not sure if Flair was reluctant to take much of Steiner's offence, but he barely had anything in the way of his trademark suplexes and slams, instead largely having to settle for simple clotheslines (which again... Luger and Sting were both far more energized and impactful taking that approach in their matches with Flair). The final minute or two once the clock began to run out was really poor, too, as Steiner showed no sense of urgency whatsoever. The time had nearly expired and he is casually standing around while Flair is outside the ring, gesturing to the fans, or just looking on with a blank expression on his face instead of doing everything he could to put Flair away before the time expired. There was probably enough decent work here to still crack a middling grade, but honestly I feel like I'm being generous even going with a 5.0, because compared to similar Flair matches I thought this was a heavily flawed match where it frankly seemed like nobody really wanted to be there. I've been making my way through all of Flair's televised title matches that I can find, and with the exception of the awful cage match with Sting at Starrcade 1990, this very well may be the weakest of them all so far."

[10.0] "aj styles proved he can still compete for championships, he's still a masterIn triple, Rey was able to get enough rest to perform difficult moves. All in all, this match was great!"

[5.0] "Average match. Andrade looked good. Wasn't a fan of the finish, though I understand why they did that."

[7.0] "Pretty good main event that was a bit too long. Nakajima had a bad leg and the action was really solid."

[10.0] "He is really great. In the main event of WrestleMania this year, he really proved himself to me and earned my respect. He officially became the first face of the company and probably will be for a year or two. I give him 10 points and I am happy to see him in the main event of the big WWE ppvs ."

[4.0] "I fully expected to have my brain switch off and remember nothing of this after the bell sounded but, to my surprise, MonsterSauce woke me up from the working coma that Switchblade almost put me under. Archer and Zayne each look so much better when teaming with one another, i loved their double team moves. [2.5]"

[6.0] "Good teamwork by both teams. I liked seeing a more serious and aggressive side from Marino Saihara in this match compared to her usual in ring self."

[5.0] "the layout of this match was actually really good, with the heels working over sugar. The ending could have been better thought. it appears they messed it up, which is unfortunate of course. not a bad match by any stretch of the imagination, just a weak finish"

[0.0] "One of the worst wrestlers I've had the misfortune to watch on a regular basis. He wrestles like he's taking the piss. Gimmick would be somewhat interesting if you had never heard of Panic! At The Disco. Bizarrely over with Germans."

[7.0] "Some sweet spots. R-Truth and New Catch Republic were the MVPs of this match imo. But ultimately, I think too many cooks spoiled the broth. 8 should be the highest number of people allowed to participate in a ladder match. Nice WrestleMania moment with R-Truth winning."

[8.0] "This match sent my mind racing for a number of reasons. The story here, i have no clue on its validity since i dont watch ROH on Honorclub anymore but this is how i've gathered it, is that Aminata is just miles and miles ahead of Billie Starkz. In spite of Billie's association and mentorship with Athena, Starkz is simply no match for Aminata through her usual means so Billie had to resort to a cheap and unfair tactic that Athena taught her in order to defeat Aminata. Here is where you can see Queenie at her best, i was so enamoured with her powerful and stiff offence in this match. Not just her, but for Bill too, because the same qualities that improved and enriched her title match with Athena are seen here. [10.0] "One of the best to do it right now. His matches always deliver. He can always get the crowd going and is currently involved in one of the greatest stories in wrestling. People always say he has a limited move set. He does sure, but he makes it work to his advantage. He doesn't repeat his moves to often and always knows how to put on good matches. Every match he's had has stolen the show. His skills on the mic have significantly improved. His title reign was good in the being. Great in the middle. A little slow in 2022 but really has picked up now since the start of 2023 and I think this might be the best year in his reign so far. The story with Sami and the Story with Cody is great. I cannot give enough praise to this guy. A wrestler in every sense of the word. 10/10."

[2.0] "The crowd came alive once The Dudleys entered the ring, but my God, was it a long ride before that. The stipulation itself is stupid and dumb, but also none of the teams were over except for The Dudleys and Too Cool who couldn't do what they do best in this environment, so the fans were silent throughout the whole thing. Plus the tables really didn't want to cooperate here with poor Brian Christopher's botch being the best example."

[7.0] "War Machine carried Chris Dickinson and Jaka to a fairly decent tag match, personally I'd say the wrong team went over, but that's just me."

[2.0] "this match was ... just bad. like it was just a superkick fest and i was like okay mayble it will pick up at the end but no . a weak match with a weak finish . i was so hyped for this match but it was so disappointing"

[5.0] "I feel that this match had a lot riding on it but the inexperience factor of The Infantry did slightly hinder their performance. Dean taking that Piledriver was class, and the fact that he had to sell it for so long and let Bravo take up a lot of the heat was the kind of meat-n-potatos heel tag work that i think The Kingdom can do very well together, but the third act where there's a lot of moving parts and setups for highspots all led to flat results. Wardlow's helping hand didn't feel entirely necessary either. I did enjoy Dean and Bravo's babyface work, although i do wish the crowd cared at least a little bit as much as i did. [3]"

[5.0] "Mantell stuck out like a sore thumb here and it lowered the quality of the match. The Midnight Express looked good as usual, and Adias was alright. 2.5 stars."

[8.0] "Kudos to both Becky and Rhea for overcoming 102 degree fever and panic attack. The match felt like it never reached that third gear though. Solid opener, but wasn't the instant classic I expected it could've been."

[6.0] "This is a somewhat decent no holds barred(? ) match between a veteran Homicide and Chris Dickinson. At the start I was confused as to why the crowd were booing the referee, but once I saw how chair shots were permitted, alongside count-outs, I understood why."

[7.0] "A wild match showcasing intensity and strong chemistry between the teams. Despite lacking a conclusive finish, the match delivers excitement and entertainment. 3.50 stars."

[7.0] "Sami Zayn isnt Mick Foley, yet that is who probably who he most closely resembles when discussing why he is over and why his rating is so high. Like Mick they both wore a mask before before ditching it to be just a bearded dumpy guy with mousy hair that people love to root for. Both Sami and Mick are known for their mic skills, character development, and storyline emphasis in their performances. Indeed, Sami is above average on the mic and is completely at home telling a story with this art form. However, while Mick Foley's introspective searches for deeper meaning behind his wanton violence as both the Cactus Jack and Mankind characters was pioneering, it comes off as bloated and overindulgent with Sami. What is arguably considered his best work during the Bloodline story arch was simply a heavy handed re-hashing of Mick's role as spoiler to the Rock's cool persona in their "Rock and Sock Connection" pairing. For the length of the story arch the formula was the same; the bloodline attempted to project theire power as a stable through their somber backstage tribal coucils or in-ring promos and Sami would inevtiably undercut Reigns leadership with mocking loyalty. Later, Sami would implore the viewer to take it seriously when he had his big close up, when it was time to reveal the true meaning behind his goofy interjection into their family; he was helping them out of an abusive relationship. Its great writing if you like the more serious side of Adam Sandler's filmography, the sad clown. He's not a bad worker by any means and deserves a higher rating than most on his work rate alone, but, his skill lies more in his ability to take moves than it is to give them. Like Foley he sells very well, absorbs most of the bumps in a match and is incredible at putting over his opponent in that way. However, at his best offensively he's a PWG showcase guy; all homage and high spots. Put him in a match with Owens, Adam Cole, or anyone else of that style and he's probably going to give you a good show if you'd like to see someone kick out of 4 consectutive Canadian Destroyers. Ultimately, Sami has a lot like Mick but doesnt touch the heights of Mick. There is no Hell in the Cell equivalent for Sami, there is no infamy of a Kawasaki Deathmatch for Sami, and certainly not a World Championship like Mick."

[6.0] "That count-out finish put nobody over, that's a pity, because it had a meaning. It's Calypso's debut in wXw and if most of the fans didn't know that she pinned Allison in Paris weeks ago, they were surely were doubtful of a title shot. Nonetheless, Calypso as the foreigner heel was a nice part, while Allison sold everything well for her. I felt the good dedication and the motivation to do well, even though the reactions were not that high for them. Calypso was desperate to win the gold this time and that's what led to her downfall. It's part of the initiation process. Solid showcase for Calypso."

That 13-minute mark was clean as f*ck. Dreissker and his boys were caught up in their own game, and they had to deal with opponents who are cheered for the same thing they booed. Everyone played the game, that was fun. Every lad had his moment to shine. Good stuff. The finish ruled, moreover."

[6.0] "For the first time in a while, i've seen a STARDOM trios match that excited me. I got to see Mei Seira in a match again and see how much she's improved since the last time (2021) and i got a reminder of how much i really love AZM. A spotfest done well. [3.25]"

[5.0] "What a way to open your first ever show up with basically saying this company sucks and the NWA Title Battle Royal sucks too, That's defenitely gonna help wrestling fans love TNA. What an odd promo, It was like the writers voiced their opinion or something like that."

[8.0] "A great segment that's taken a few notches down due to incosistencies within the whole thing. I don't think they needed to explained what happened at WM 39 and just talk about WrestleMania 40 and take a few hints and Solo turning on Jimmy seemed hypocritical considering Solo Sikoa himself has been on a losing streak so him kicking Jimmy out for "losing" makes no sense. Tama Tonga's debut was a shocker and I'm excited to see what he does."

[5.0] "[2.25/5.00]: An AEW: Battle of the Belts without any AEW titles on the line, and any relevancy of the brand is from an AEW mid-card title "Eliminator" being wrestled by that mid-card title Champion, the fuck is this booking. Fine-Decent matches all around, but nothing memorable."

[8.0] "[3.75/5.00]: AEW: Collision is the only AEW show that spews no bullshit in the making of it, just pure, raw, unadulterated wrestling for 2 hours, and it keeps on that promise. Though none of the matches were truly recommendable, it was a good showing of there wrestlers where the MOTN was the main event. Show of the week."

[7.0] "What just happened to him? Back in NXT, we was an absolute gem on a wrestler, putting on banger after banger. Then, he came to AEW, lost his form, got injured, had a fumbled storyline with MJF, we're here now...such a sad sighting of one of the most amazing wrestlers to ever grace television"

[3.0] "... i was hooked in RIGHT up until Lee Johnson hit a Super Canadian Destroyer and then his finish twice in a row and Kyle Fletcher kicked out of it. It felt like all the slow and winding-up action Lee delivered flew out of the window and was made redundant, which was a total zapper for this match. A damn shame. [2.5]"

[8.0] "This was a really underrated and under appreciated match from this years mania. People take Rey Mysterio For granted. He still for the most part somehow hasnt lost a step and still looks great. He is close to my favorite wrestler of all time and this match was fitting for the setting"

[7.0] "Matsumoto/Chisako was a really fun team to watch here, they were impressive on the offense and they helped Kross to stand out on her own. ***1/4"

[5.0] "Out of both Usos, Jimmy Uso seems to be the less valueable player of out of the two. He has the same exact moveset as Jey Uso but he has less of a character now with his recent heel turn. Probably one of the worst heel turns of the 2020s. Jimmy Uso has failed to get over with the crowd and he went from "Nobodys Bitch" to a lackey in the Bloodline. I hope he turns face soon because right now he was one of the most basic and boring dudes on the roster."

[5.0] "An absolutely amazing wrestler who killed his own momentum and career with his own attitude issues and reckless endangerment. The list goes on and on about the amount of backstage politicing, refusing to lose, legitmately injuring other wrestlers without care and the burnt bridges in ROH, NJPW & other companies. Low Ki who was once one of the best wrestlers in the world is now known as someone who's hard to work with, hard to please & someone who had their head up their own ass."

[4.0] "I'm a little tempted to go slightly higher with my rating just because I really enjoy watching Arn and Windham work, but realistically there just isn't much going on here. The Horsemen are fun as always, but the Renegade Warriors offer very little, and the match isn't much more than a lengthy squash. It's fine, but there's really nothing noteworthy here at all."

[5.0] "Liv Morgan looked bad in the early part of this match but grew into it and looked fine by the end. Becky was unspectacular but solid, except for her man handle slam which is weak looking for a finisher and came out of nowhere, giving a flat finish. **3/4"

[8.0] "This was the moment Adam Pearce went from the lamest and most boring GM in wrestling history to someone that actually makes himself respected. He was just a "yes man", doing anything Roman Reigns, Ronda or any big time player wanted and not showing any real leadership or personality as a boss until this, until he was sick and tired of Ronda doing whatever she wanted. Best thing Adam Pearce ever did as GM. After this, well, he is not as lame as he was before, but still isn't in the same authority level of guys like Teddy Long, Nick Aldis or William Regal."

[8.0] "This match was fucking INSANE. Flat out, it was an absolute masterclass of sheer indie stupidity mixed with the best form of DDT comedy. Genuinely, you should go out and watch this match, it is extremely worth it. Even if you just watch it for the Mecha Mummy rocket fist spot, it is worth it for that alone."

[5.0] "Another AEW DARK adjacent match for the zero hour here, complimenting the previous tag match very well with its simplicity. Made me appreciate Mariah May a little more than usual in seeing her work less than 10 minutes, sometimes that's the best way to consume a wrestler. [3]"

[6.0] "Interference again. Up until this this was a really good match. However, Gunther still working like a monster isn't anywhere near as impactful since he dropped his weight and brutal offense. Other than his loud chops he is just a normal guy now ***1/4"
