[6.0] "Alberto El Patron and Johnny Mundo were two of the most cocky characters on LU. That cockyness lead to some sarcastic exchanges between the two, about who was the best. That lead to a First Contender's match between the two that El Patron won. Later, Patron had to defeat Hernandez to face the champion, but Mundo interfered and turned heel on an amazing way: throwing El Patron through a window of Dario Cueto's office. That begun a rivalry between the two. After some weeks absent, Patron made his return interfering on Puma and Mundo's iron man match, and allowing Puma to take a pinfall. After that a match was set on Ultima Lucha. It was a decent encounter, in which Mundo tooks the win after an interference by the debuting Melina. After the match, Patron gets revenge and throws Mundo against a glass door. I think that this feud made a great change to Mundo's character, more interesting than the previous babyface run."

[8.0] "In my opinion, this feud is the reason why Pentagon was a star on LU. Appart from his in-ring work, that was really cool, it showed that he can play an interesting character. He begun to break the arms of some wrestlers and did it in the name of his master. It was a great storyline that built him and made him one of the best characters on LU, with everyone wanting to know who his master was and why he was breaking arms. Then he broke Super Fly's arm, which lead to some bad matches against Sexy Star. When he tried to break his arm, Vampiro stopped him. Then Pentagon got obsessed with Vampiro. His master told him to go against him and Pentagon broke him mentally, pouring gasoline on him and threatening him to set him on fire. That lead to a final match on Ultima Lucha, it was a bloody and violent death match, that can be considered as a master vs student match, as Pentagon had to go to the extreme to take the win. After the match and breaking Vampiro's arm, he revealed that he was his master and that he had planned it just to make Pentagon stronger, the next generation of brutality and violence. I think it was very good and that twist at the end really elevated the match and Pentagon. Now he can be seen as a top contender for the LU title and it shows how good he can be on these sort of storylines. This storyline has been one of the best things on LU first season."

[9.0] "The Smackdown Six. This was at the time where Raw was in the midst of Triple H's Reign of Terror and Smackdown was starting to whoop Raw's ass in terms of quality and these six gentlemen were a pivotal part in that. Angle and Benoit's rivalry was in full swing, Edge and Rey were the lovable underdogs (and IMO Rey was Edge's second best tag partner after Christian) and the Guerreros were that extra level of spice. Whenever you saw a Smackdown Six matchup, it was almost guaranteed to slap. My personal favorite match of this era was the two out of three falls match between Edge/Rey and Angle/Benoit while there were some callbacks to their excellent No Mercy match from weeks prior (seriously the spot where Edge moves out of the way of a diving headbutt from Benoit which then causes him to hit Angle was identical to the spot from No Mercy), this match was so much fun to watch. Smackdown is nowhere near as good now as it was during this era (although '09 Smackdown is nothing to sneeze at), the Smackdown Six will forever be remembered."

It really did start off like a complete breath of fresh air on a very stale product. The splitting up of the group did not work and it was just a complete damp fart in the lift by the end."

[6.0] "If I'm being honest I wasn't really invested on this feud. It started when Drago won an unique opportunity after defeating Aero Star on their Best of Five series, which granted the winner a title match against Puma. Drago lost that match because of Hernandez's interference and was expelled from the temple. A couple of weeks later he returned and went against Hernandez. Hernandez beat him two times and then destroyed him with his belt, which lead to a match at Ultima Lucha: a lumberjack match in which the crowd were the lumberjack and had some leather belts to attack the wrestlers. The fans hated Hernandez and loved Drago, so it was clear who they were going to hit. That match was decent and we saw Drago take the win after using the mist and a cool table spot."

[7.0] "This feud started on the trios titles tournament, where Cage beat Mack to join the team of Daivari and Big Ryck. From there they started to face each other, with Mack taking some fast victories over Cage. I would have liked those matches to be longer, they could made the feud better. Finally, after a brawl they fight on the first match on Ultima Lucha, on a falls count everywhere. It was great, with some brutal spots and really fun. Cage wins after stomping Mack's head through a concrete block. It was brutal and that match elevated the feud a lot. Hopefully, those two will meet again in the future."

[3.0] "This was a strange storyline, Kid Kash and Trinity moved from being a great pairing, that got both of them pushed, to fight against each other on a domestic violence storyline that at some point was so unconfortable, specially when Kid Kash beat Trinity or when he said that he loves violence against women. If I'm being honest I don't get the point of all of this. Kid Kash & Trinity's feud with the Amazing Red had been nice and they delivered some cool matches and Trinity was getting so over. That lead to a slow heel turn by Kash, that first played a cocky heel, but that soon turned into an abusive relationship and some disgusting stuff. All the masked luchador interfering in the X Division title matches was pretty bad and ruined some cool moments. Then when they revealed it was Trinity, Kash just squashed her. Seriously, what was the point? The end of the feud came with Erik Watts and Goldylocks getting involved on the behalf on Trinity. Erik Watts save on the girls was cool, though, he got a big pop. Then Kash introduced us to Abyss, which lead him to win the feud and move over. I didn't imagine that Abyss would debut on this feud."

They have some brawls, neither of them were interesting. After a while, Big Ryck returns as the bodyguard of Daivari and helps him to win a match over Texano. On the last encounter, Texano beat Daiviri and Ryck. It wasn't really interesting and I was bored by it. Neither of this two wrestlers got over with this."

[8.0] "I think Shawn Michaels absolutely smashed it with this feud and his heel run as short as it was, was a career highlight because of how memorable his promos and segments was. It's a very interesting feud to watch because with the hard core fanbase being more vocal these days with the negative fan reaction to the Rock stealing Cody's spot, I have to wonder who the fans would actually be cheering for had this happened today. Shawn was such a strong heel in this feud because everything he said in his promos just felt real and I couldn't help but route for him even at the time. The "Who's your daddy, Montreal? " promo and the Larry King spoof are just golden moments. The overselling in the Summerslam match was hilarious and say what you will about the actual match, HBK does make it a very entertaining watch. The only problem with the feud for me was Hogan himself as when I was watching the whole thing play out, he doesn't look like he is all that invested and just wanted the big pay day and only cared about putting himself over."

[10.0] "This has been one of my favourite feuds on the first season of Lucha Underground. Great storyline and some of the best matches on LU history. The undefeated Mil Muertes fought the man of a thousand lifes, Fenix. Until this rivalry started Mil Muertes was undefeated, but Fenix achieved the impossible, pinning Mil Muertes. That lead to an interesting feud in which Catrina bertrayed Mil Muertes and helpt Fenix defeat his former ally on one of the best casket matches of all time. But it wasn't over, Catrina didn't turn on Muertes, she did it to make him even stronger, unleashing his true power. After some months of absence, they returned to the company, Muertes was a darker himself, more aggressive and powerful and he destroyed Fenix on a death match, powerbombing him through the roof of a room. This feud elevated Mil Muertes to a higher level, as one of the top talents of the company. All their matches were awesome, specially the Aztec Warfare, the Grave Consequences and the Death match. It's been some of the best programing of the first season of LU. I'm really invested on Mil Muertes and his future."

Adulthood meant I gave it a passing chance and deeper into adulthood I remind myself that it's still stupid but the ring work could be worse, so watch the matches on mute if one feels so inclined but honestly: This is what made the WWF seem really stupid and WCW being the FAR less moronic "roll your eyes" choice of the two... c'mon ECW, show up on Saturday early am hours already!"

[10.0] "Insanely great. The only caveat is things got a lil samey at a point but the Killer Kahn branch out helped right in time. The Iceman King Parsons involvement can not be understated and should be included here if Killer Kahn is, the same also applies to Jimmy Garvin who was always the 4th Freebird. There are some matches scattered throughout that are almost throwaway's (see: samey) because some of the others are WAY off the charts. The heat can be blistering even all of these decades later, get on this roller coaster and see what the hype was really all about!"

[7.0] "Konnan bringing back his oled friend Hernandez lead to a feud for the LU title with Konnan's new protege, Prince Puma. The feud wasn't much interesting and rushed up, as Hernandez soon turn on Konnan and Puma. That lead to a tag team match in which they had to team together, where Hernandez powerbombed Puma on the apron, making him be pinned by Cage. Hernandez got under Puma's skin, so when the title match happened, Puma unleashed a new himself, hitting Hernandez with a Chair and retaining the title. That match was good, as Puma did some great spots. The feud might not be the most interesting, but at least it had a nice conclussion on a good match. Puma wins the feud looking strong, and capable of doing everything just to retain it's title. And Hernandez exits it as a strong contender, with charisma."

[9.0] "The Unlikely Alliance storyline was incredible. Son of Havoc, Ivelisse and Angelico dissensions and fights lead to an incredible storyline in which they finally got along and won the trios championships. The final of the trios tournament was a great match, with good action and great character work by those three. When it seemed that they've won, Dario Cueto introduced The Crew as a final challenge for the titles. At first, The Crew destroyed the babyfaces, but after a insane spot by Angelico, diving off the roof of Cueto's office, they won the titles. Them winning the tournament was a great visual and the conclusion of a great storyline. But it wasn't all over, as their dissensions continue on the next shows and Dario Cueto wants those titles on The Crew's hands. So, with Ivelisse injured, he book a tag team match with the champions. Angelico and Havoc couldn't get along, so The Crew pin them, winning a new title opportunity. Their final encounter was a ladder match. It had good action and some great spots. Finally, when all seemed doomed for the Unlikely Alliance, Angelico made another insane dive and Ivelisse took the championships, retaining the title. This storyline was great, specially the road of the Unlikely Alliance to take the championship. I was really invested on them and seeing them winning the trios titles was one of my favourites moments of the first season on LU. The rest of the feud with The Crew was worse than the first match, but was still really entertaining. Great job by all the wrestlers involved."

[10.0] "One of the best Ring of Honor feuds of all time and one that definitely rank amongst the best tag team feuds I've ever watched... four incredible stipulation matches, with frenetic pace and crazy spots. In my opinion the first one is the best, it was a true definition of street fight, pure carnage. The second one is kind of forgotten, and it's the worst one, but I still liked it, good steel cage match. Then one day later they had a Two Out of Three Falls, and was excellent too, just a shame it was 2-0. And the legendary Ladder War to end things up, an outstanding match as well. This is a must-watch quadrilogy."

[4.0] "My goodness, what a flop this feud was. John Cena tried his best to carry Ryback, and it didn't pan out well. I mean, if CM Punk can't get a good match out of Ryback, what makes one think John Cena could? Anyways, this feud wasn't good and best to be forgotten about. I imagine Ryback hates John Cena because of this feud not doing well."

[9.0] "While I one billion percent hated every fiber of my being that Paul Bearer's death was exploited in this rivalry, I can't lie to you and say this one was bad. Despite the disgusting promotional tactic, the build up was well done and really made you want to watch the match go down. And in return, the match was a banger, Undertaker's last great WrestleMania match (until his Boneyard Match in 2020). R.I.P. William Moody"

[3.0] "I agree with "Newsted Head, " as a big CM Punk fan, this feud sucked and I don't get the high rating. Ryback is abysmal, CM Punk couldn't carry him at all, the whole angle with Brad Maddox was terrible, Ryback becoming a Paul Heyman Guy was bad, their matches sucked, and CM Punk clearly hated working with him in their second feud. Everything about this feud was garbage, aside from this feud birthing The Shield."

[0.0] "This might, honestly, be the worst feud of all time. The fact WWE didn't learn their lesson from The Miz and Jerry Lawler feud and decided "what if, instead, wrestler vs commentator, we do commentator vs commentator and do it at WRESTLEMANIA? Better yet, have a WHOLE TRILOGY of matches at PPVs" Whoever came up with that idea should never be apart of the creative process ever again. Aside that the matches were abysmal as anyone would expect, the actual content of the rivalry and mic work wasn't any better, especially the promo that featured Brian Christopher's return... Goodness gracious, was that awkward, what the fuck where they thinking? ! Anyways, garbage feud, true blemish to professional wrestling, total joke that this feud got a match on WrestleMania."

[4.0] "My goodness, what was Vince McMahon thinking with this? Having a commentator fighting for the world title is a bad idea from the get-go. Yes, I know Lawler is a wrestler, but he's well passed his prime and had no business being in the world title picture. While the matches turned out to be, surprisingly, good, doesn't make up for the fact that this shouldn't have happened, and it just made The Miz look even worse."

[5.0] "A mixed bag if you ask me. It was great in the first 2 months, then SummerSlam 2010 arrived and the storyline, slowly, started to fall off. The amount of bad booking decisions and having the group split up into different teams in a nWo style made it even worse (New Nexus and The Corre). It's such a shame WWE took something that had a ton of potential and ended up ruining them."

[2.0] "I'm sorry everyone, while Kane's mic work in this storyline was amazing, it's severely flawed that I can't give it a pass. First of all, I'm surprised this entry is separated from the "whodunit" storyline. Secondly, Kane's explanation as to why he "did it" is beyond mind numbing (despite being a terrific promo, admittedly). The fact he waited this long to get vengeance makes you left dumbfounded and makes you wonder why would anyone take THAT long. Thirdly, all of their matches sucked. Granted, their previous encounters in the past were never Flair/Steamboat level quality, but these matches were the drizzling shits! Their first match is boring, nothing of note besides Taker brawling during Kane's entrance. Their HIAC match is even worse! Seriously, how does Undertaker have 2 Hell in a Cell matches that are total snooze fests? Their buried alive match is almost as bad as their HIAC match, but not quite. Overall, this feud sucked, it was bad, part of why WWE in 2010 was absolute garbage, only good thing was seeing Kane get a world title run and get to main event and get his wins over Undertaker."
2518.01.2024
02:38
[3.0] "This storyline was stupid, I'm honestly shocked by the high ratings for it. First of all, the fact WWE kept using the phrase "vegetative state" instead of saying "coma" still has me confused to this day why they chose that word over the other. Secondly, it was obvious that Kane "did it" this whole time and just wanted to blame someone else. Shame Undertaker got injured after his match with Rey Mysterio, because we probably would live in a world where Rey didn't replace him, won the belt at the PPV and never got this stupid storyline."
2618.01.2024

[4.0] "Their WrestleMania match was good, but that's all I can give them. This feud wasn't any good, and when they threw "God" into the mix, it became even worse. While I do find that portion unintentionally funny, it's not enough to redeem this feud."
2718.01.2024
01:43
[4.0] "There was promise to this storyline, but having Randy Orton be a lackluster babyface and having Triple H get the last laugh really soiled it. It's a shame, because there was tons of potential with this one. One of the worst things to happen during Triple H's reign of terror run."

[0.0] "5 Words: Kane The Good Guy Rapist (shame I can't rate the Kane and Matt Hardy feud on here). The fact that Kane rapes Lita and knocks her up and marries her against her will is bad enough, but then have Gene Snitsky hit Kane with a chair and cause him to fall on Lita and give her a miscarriage and this makes Kane a BABYFACE really cements why this storyline deserves a 0. The moment you turn a rapist into a sympathetic good guy is where I draw the line."

[5.0] "At first, when it was just Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon, it was pretty good. Then when Hulk Hogan became "Mr. America, " it jumped the shark for me. It was such a painful storyline to sit through and having it be obnoxiously obvious that Hulk Hogan was Mr. America and having Vince set out to reveal it wasn't fun to watch. At least it gave us meme gold with the clip of Vince doing the lie detector test ("I am no pervert" *buzzer noise*)."

[4.0] "Chris Jericho started out decent as world champion with beating The Rock and Steve Austin, but then became a bad champion afterword's. Shame it became all about Triple H and Chris Jericho got overshadowed, and the pairing of him and Stephanie was bad. Oh well, Chris Jericho wasn't buried after this at least and would go on to win more titles and become a top mid carder who sometimes get the main event in WWF/E."

[4.0] "What a surprise that having Rey Mysterio's mask off was the worst thing to happen to him? (r/sarcasm) Seriously, it amazes me with the amount of dumb ideas that Eric Bischoff has come up with, the only good that this storyline gave us was that it lead to the idea of Mysterio can have "David vs. Goliath" type matches."

00:02
[4.0] "Aside from their "In Your House 3: Triple Header" match, this feud was devoid of merit. While not the single worst feud in professional wrestling history, or even the worst of the year, the fact Bret and Jean feuded OVER A JACKET is alone warranting a low score."

[0.0] "This feud was abysmal from start to finish. First off, Leslie Nielsen's involvement in this feud was bad. Nothing against Leslie, but his puns in the segments he was in were bad. The whole concept of the feud just sounds bad, having a wrestler face off against himself just doesn't sound good because people can easily tell who is the real one and who's the fake, not to mention the subtle differences you can pick up on, and to be able to find someone who can replicate the other would be a difficult task, I imagine. Then the match... Goodness gracious, the fact it main evented over Bret Hart and Owen Hart's legendary steel cage match is the ideal representation of what was wrong with the New Generation Era, valuing terrible gimmicks over rising new stars. The match was awful, crowd was dead, fake Undertaker sucked in the bout, and the entire thing flopped. Overall, one of the worst storylines/feuds/whatever you want to call it of all time. You'd think after this match and feud failing, the WWE would never try it again, right? RIGHT! ?"

[4.0] "I never got into the whole "Lex Express" gimmick, felt like a poor attempt at recreating Hulk-A-Mania, but with Lex Luger. While I don't mind Lex Luger, we don't need another Hulk Hogan because you can't recapture his magic. This feud was just bad, the tired, done-to-death trope of "USA vs [insert country here]" feud we all know and hate. Anyways, not a good feud, matches sucked, promos were forgettable, and the Lex Luger celebration at SummerSlam was awkward (celebrating after a count out victory? ), glad Bret Hart got the belt from Yokozuna at WrestleMania X."

[4.0] "Could have been great, but having Rikishi as the man who ran over Steve Austin makes no sense. The only good that came out of this was Rikishi's hilariously bad "I did it for The Rock" promo and The Rock mocking it. Also, funny how Austin and HHH would become a tag team sometime after this storyline."

[4.0] "DX in 2006 in general wasn't good, save from their Rated-RKO feud. This feud was horrible, having DX making "Vince loves Cocks! " jokes was beyond cringe, the impersonation segment was embarrasing to watch, The Spirit Squad was awful, and the matches weren't even that good."

[7.0] "Aero Star and Drago's best of five series was an amazing showcase of what this two luchadores could do in the ring. On all their encounters they showed great athleticism, skill and nice moves. Both are two consistent high flyers. The only problem I had with it is that three of those matches were four minutes long. I would have liked them to be longer, just a bit at least, cause this two have good chemistry and worked really well with each other. It was some consisting programing as they would put a good performane every time. I like how the feud evolved from a friendly rivalry in to an intense competetion in which both of them wanted to win. Finally, Drago wins the series and Dario Cueto grants him a title shot, but if he loses he would have to leave LU. The match with Puma from and in-ring stand point was good, as those two are great high flyiers, but the overbooked ending of the match ruined the thing for me. I would have prefer a clean ending, but it is what it is. This rivalry put Drago and Aero Star in the map for me as two consistent and good wrestlers, from whom I want to see more. This rivalry elevated them a lot as we could saw some incredible things they could do on a wrestling ring."
