[3.0] "This feud seemed like it would never end and for the most part, actually isn't good but funnily enough, it gave both men two of the best matches of their careers although a lot of bad stuff is mixed in the middle of the feud as well."

[4.0] "The Summerslam match is cool, but these two terrorized the Raw main event scene from late 02-04. The match they had at Armageddon 02 was awful, their LMS match is fine but nothing to write home about, and the HIAC match has elements of a good match but the back half of the match is quite literally terrorism. If I count the matches with Benoit, this could be higher, but I won't do that. I will say that this feud has one of the most underrated Raw matches ever on 12/29/03. A fine feud, but compared to how much hype WWE gives this feud, you'd expect it to be 1000x better."

[9.0] "Great rivalry that had a lot of influence on the landscape of wrestling, in positive and negative ways. The story of their rivalry was good enough, a simple underdog story as Okada dominated Omega thanks to his stamina but then the dynamic started to change as Kenny Omega improved. It took place during Okada's 4th reign as IWGP Heavyweight champion, the record breaking reign. He got very cocky after beating Tanahashi's defense record and it played into their last match when Kenny finally beat Okada for the title and ended one of the biggest reign in modern wrestling. They had great chemistry in the ring, both were in their prime. The downside of this rivalry is probably the length of most of their matches. I can understand people saying some of their matches were too long, needlessly very long. Granted they managed to make it work into the story of their G1 match but for a series of matches that fans often recommend to newer fans or people who don't know much about wrestling, it surely isn't a great recommendation when 3 out of 4 of their singles matches go over 45 minutes. I think their Wrestle Kingdom 11 match started a trend of matches that were sometimes way too long. I'd say this rivalry is a little overrated when it's talked about like the undisputed greatest rivalry of all time. It is probably one of the biggest rivalries in terms of the influence it had over modern wrestling but there are rivalries with more developed stories out there, even just in NJPW in pretty much the same period of time: Okada/Tanahashi, Tanahashi/Naito and Naito/Okada were bigger and more fleshed out rivalries. So it's more like a cool short story arc amongst the bigger stories, in the sense that the rivalry lasted barely 2 years even if the matches themselves were really fucking long. Great rivalry nonetheless."

[10.0] "They are generational rivals, this kind of rivalry often works very well. Both guys evolved so much throughout their feud and they fed off their differences really well, especially seeing their very different wrestling style. The second part of their rivalry when Nakamura started to flesh out his character more and more was particularly great. Nakamura was more dominant at the beginning of their feud meanwhile Tanahashi had bigger moments in the second part as he was clearly the Ace. The dynamic of their rivalry started to change during Tanahashi's record breaking reign as Heavyweight champion, he also beat him in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 8 but Nakamura had a great moment at Invasion Attack. This rivalry did a lot for the prestige of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, as much as for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. They also had one of the greatest G1 finals ever. Just an iconic rivalry between 2 great and charismatic wrestlers in their prime."

[9.0] "This rivalry is maybe less known or remembered but was important to help Tanahashi being established as the fiery babyface and top guy of his era, especially when they met in the G1 finals and then a few years later when Tanahashi broke Yuji Nagata's IWGP Heavyweight title defense record. Great rivalry with some nice technical wrestling and brutal moments (mostly because of Nagata's style) as both guys were still in their prime."

[10.0] "This rivalry is extremely underrated as it is New Japan's biggest rivalry of the Bushiroad era. It has the best storytelling especially because of the career trajectory of Naito. Their rivalry was good when he was the Stardust Genius but what really took it to the next step was Naito's turn and change of gimmick. There's probably no Ingobernable Naito without this rivalry and both guys were important fuel for each other's career. They are generational rivals and it ended with what was maybe their best match together in the only big place where they never fought before that: the G1 finals. They had great chemistry, the dynamic of their matches evolved a lot when you see their first title match and their last match. It truly started in 2012 with Okada coming back from excursion and managing to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship before Naito (who had his chance before that against Tanahashi but failed). Naito was Okada's first defense, having a very explosive style as the Stardust Genius, then we had the road to their first WK match which lost the fan poll and the main event spot. Naito got some wins over Okada in the G1 but never won when it mattered the most, whether it was for the IWGP Heavyweight title or when they fought for the WK main event contract. Then at the start of Naito's turn in 2015/2016 he changed his wrestling style a bit and was a cheating heel. Okada finally beat Tanahashi in the main event of the Tokyo Dome at WK10, he was starting his run as the undisputed Ace of New Japan but a few months later his momentum got stopped by Naito who beat him (with a little help) to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for the first time of his career. As Los Ingobernables De Japon became more and more popular, Naito stopped cheating and tried to fight clean to keep his title but Okada got the better of him at Dominion. At Wrestle Kingdom 12 they met in the main event, this time it was undoubtedly the biggest match of the card as Okada was on a strong run as the champion meanwhile Naito got some huge momentum after winning the G1 and became the biggest star of the promotion, the atmosphere was electric and it gave us one of the biggest heartbreak in wrestling when Naito couldn't achieve his destino. It was a big step in making Okada's 4th reign as IWGP Heavyweight Champion more legendary as everyone thought he was going to lose there. Then 2 years later Naito and Okada met again at the Tokyo Dome in a double title match, Naito finally had his big win in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom and he got it by beating his biggest rival. After that the dynamic of their rivalry changed again and it was even more noticeable in their last match in the finals of the G1 33. Naito made some changes to his style to fight smarter and was a little more dominant than Okada in this match thanks to some great and vicious work on the neck. He beat Okada to find his way to the Wrestle Kingdom main event again. The win/loss record between both guys is very close with Okada winning more title matches but Naito winning the 2 biggest matches of their rivalry so both guys looked very strong. This generational rivalry is also the one that made the most money for modern day New Japan so it was a success in every aspects."

[6.0] "Okada fought Ospreay for the first time in RevPro, thought he was good so he got him a job in New Japan. After a few years, at the G1 30 Ospreay decided to turn on Okada to get his first win over him after an interference, he also formed United Empire. After that they fought again, as usual Ospreay lost again and again, then he finally got his first clean win over Okada in the G1 33 which was supposed to feel like a big moment but it truly wasn't. Then Okada got his win back in a random New Japan show in the US and that's it, here you go. They have chemistry in the ring but in every other aspect it is a very overrated rivalry. Not completely their fault because Gedo clearly didn't see this rivalry as something that big. They had 2 Wrestle Kingdom matches sure but this happened during the pandemic which was a point in time where they had a guy like Shingo Takagi as world champion, which is obviously something that wouldn't have happened outside of an era with a lot of restrictions. They knew they couldn't draw big crowds so they tried to protect most of their big rivalries as long as they could which is why both guys fought twice at Wrestle Kingdom. Okada vs Ospreay was one of the least protected rivalries at the top of the card. It existed to have a good match and get a solid gate here and there but nothing more than that and at the end if felt like they were just going through the motion. Okada is Ospreay's biggest rival, but Ospreay surely isn't in the top 5 of Okada's biggest rivals at all. The Rainmaker had more competitive and fleshed out rivalries with a lot of other wrestlers. This rivalry was mostly about Ospreay losing again and again to Okada and when he finally won clean it didn't feel special at all and he never beat him for something meaningul."

[10.0] "When we talk about in-ring performance, this is probably the best feud of all time, these two guys had four singles matches that no one can complain about, their matches elevated wrestling to another dimension and completely burst the bubble. New Japan already had some pretty good years and matches, but I think this series absolutely transcended and popularized the company into every wrestling center out there, specially in the western countries, like US and Canada, where it's easier to enjoy and to identify yourself with a guy like Kenny Omega, for example. I do believe Dave Meltzer boosted some of their ratings, specially the 2nd and 3rd match, and I can't affirm it was by design but it sure helped a lot of people to start paying more attention to New Japan (me included), as the scale being broken several times catches a lot of attention, and Dave was literally saying this were the best matches of all time so everyone went out there and watched the product. I don't agree with some ratings but Dave played a very important role to the western audiences here. Their first and last match are unbelievable, one made me cry, and the other made me consider what I was watching the end of a full circle on pro-wrestling, and I truly believe it was the intention. It's the best in-ring series of matches ever and now that Okada is in AEW, I expect a 5th... if it happens I will come back here to talk about it."

[10.0] "Amazing match up. This match is my earliest memory of wrestling. Watching Punk jump over that barricade and run off into the night was probably my first experience of watching vindication and seeing someone rage against a machine. This entire match is cinematic. Amazing in-ring work, only second place to the amazing crowd that elevated it to levels you can only hear and see to believe."

[10.0] "At not one point I know in wrestling history did you have 2 most over baby faces at same time fighting for the title, its still hard to say who is the greatest of all time , its a thin line I think Stone cold was a ticth above the rock but its still hard to pick one over the other, they both headlined 3 wrestlemania together, there best macth was at wrestlemania 17 but their best storyline was leading in to wrestlemania 15 and backlash after that , it was always larger than life when these 2 legends even went at it it was magic I dont think you ever see again in wrestling I hope Im wrong"

[10.0] "This rivalry marks the chapter one of King's Road, we had an established wrestler in Jumbo Tsuruta, the ace after Baba and before Misawa, in his late stages of full-timing career because of an illness, and as I said, the future ace, Mitsuharu Misawa, former Tiger Mask II, a guy that completely shined and became the most popular wrestler in Japan. These old-ace vs new-ace battles are infallible, they are the best ones and the easiest to like, it's a clash of generations that also brings a lot of sentimental values and drama. The people wanted Misawa, he was the most over person in every match they had, but Jumbo refused to give him the crown, refused to accept that he was being surpassed, and that created magic. Unfortunately the rivalry couldn't be proper finished, because of Jumbo's medical condition, and this is the only flaw here, but unfortunately this went beyond anyone's control. They had legendary matches together, weather it was singles competition or a battle of armies, this is the feud that brightened wrestling between 1990 and 1992."

Hangman is great, swerve is great. It made a new world champion in the making. The promos have been good. The matches have been good. It ticks all the boxes. One of my favourite feuds."

[10.0] "One of if not the most important feud of all time as a Japanese company put their two top native stars against each other rather than an ace against the monster gaijin invader. Late in the feud we also finally get a move to clean finishes, again something hugely important as we move into the 1990s. If only we got the pay off."

[10.0] "This rivalry is one of the best worked stories in the NWA during its peak. Just the cagematch alone with none of the buld up has to be top 5 in NWA history. Compared to a lot of the stuff in the 90s like sting vs NWO, or Rock vs HHH or even Austin vs Mcmahon this rivalry is kinda watered down in popularity, but its still an all time great story."

[9.0] "One of Ring of Honor greatest rivalries and certainly one of the best tag team rivalries ever in my opinion... Briscoes and Steenerico had a lot of chemistry together, they always deliver crazy matches with a frenetic pace, very enjoyable to watch, because the four guys are heavily talented. The four stipulation matches they did back in the day were awesome, and they have some other good matches too, just a shame they couldn't face each other more times, but I think this was enough to put those guys in a legendary rivalry level."

[5.0] "In a just world Sheik would have been the face. U.S. military good, arabs bad is such lazy and racist storytelling. Was Vince getting DoD kickbacks here? Helping smooth the road to *two* Iraq wars should be on the top of Vince's list of crimes. Sheik's charisma and (kayfabe) undying hatred of the U.S. were still fun though."

[6.0] "Points for significance and draw but the story and big match didn't have a lot to it. Both men had better much matches and storylines in their careers. It's a shame that Andre is remembered more for this than his work before his body broke down. Sold a lot of merch though."

[5.0] "Goofy ass storyline with at best mediocre matches. A shame Jacobs never actually lit himself on fire like he teased us with. Paul Bearer drama was forgettable. Pyro and lightning bolts couldn't make this hold interest either. Kane on RAW = channel changer."

[2.0] "I feel like these two have zero chemistry. Omega trying to do hardcore stuff is silly, and the way Moxley builds up a match doesn't help for sure. Most people won't agree but I believe they bring out each other's worst attitudes and tendencies whenever they meet. They also exemplify AEW's boner towards "dream matches" rather than organically built programs and feuds"

[7.0] "Charlotte and Sasha are very talented performers, but their solo feud weren't all that outstanding and inferior to Charlotte-Lynch. They had a number of good matches, but after a few years the only thing I can remember about them is that they turned the Women's Championship into a hot potato, passing it from hand to hand every month. They've had a great history since NXT, they've had a number of memorable gimmick matches and promos, but overall the full potential I don't think has ever been realized."

[8.0] "The feud with The Miz in 2016 was probably the last really big and important event in Dolph's WWE career, when there was still fire in his eyes. It was a very personal story, so much so Dolph even put his career on the line. I still consider their match at No Mercy to be the best match of The Mike's career. It was the absolute peak of their story, their other encounters before and after didn't have the same level of tension, but they were nevertheless always able to put on a decent match. 8 points."
3605.01.2024
22:58
[8.0] "Those were the years when women's matches wasn't seen as anything more than a "toilet break" and women in the big leagues weren't given much opportunity. To a certain extent, these two can be considered innovators who contributed to making women's wrestling what it is today, revolutionizing it in a way. Both performers are excessively talented and deserve all the attention they've gotten."
3705.01.2024
20:39
[9.0] "I must admit, I thought that these two went out to matches against each other much more often, but anyway, these guys are real legends of ultraviolence wrestling and they knew how to make fans think every time that they really feel the most sincere hatred for each other. They are great in style and at the same time very good at storytelling, so their matches in both America and Japan have always been a big event, eagerly awaited by fans."
3805.01.2024
19:08
[5.0] "Pretty difficult to give a rating. I'm not sure it can be fully called a rivalry, considering it was just one long and sparsely developed feud with three 1-on-1 matches (I allow for exceptions, like Briscoes-FTR and their legendary trilogy, but I don't think this is that case). There was chemistry between the wrestlers, they had some great comedic moments, both are charismatic entertainers who have a good connection with the audience and know how to tell a story in a match, but still I think this feud was firstly too long and secondly too cliched - like The Pinnacle joining the Inner Circle with obvious implications and another MJF's labors" to his opponents. But there were some good promos, mind games from MJF, who matched up opponents for Chris (although we never got to see Jericho-Storm) and good matches. I'm not sure if the pros or cons prevail, so I'll settle for an average rating of 5 points."
3905.01.2024
18:50
[6.0] "The fact that most of the matches between this teams ended by dq or count out makes sense. These were two formidable alliances of tough powerhouses that essentially never managed to reveal who was actually better. The potential was great, the story that became the Demolition-Strike Force sequel was interesting, but it all culminated in a not-so-great match at Wrestlemania in which Demolition won, but by pinning their former manager, Mr. Fuji, rather than Warlord or Barbarian. The alliances went their separate ways later on, and the potential was never fully realized, which is pretty sad."
4005.01.2024
16:46
[6.0] "The best joint moment of Seth and Dean as rivals is the legendary break up of the Shield. Their feud in the middle of the tenth was quite monotonous and quickly got bored, but still had both bad and also good moments like Dean's, finally winning the WWE World Heavyweight title, triumph. At the same time, the last stage of their rivalry, when Dean finally realized that he was going to leave WWE, was strange and criticized by many fans. In general, it was a pretty decent, but sometimes ambiguous rivalry, that did not reveal full potential."
4105.01.2024
16:36
[10.0] "Their feud was as amazing as it was simple. They didn't have a long personal history, they were just two talented teams competing for the title of the best tag team in the world, and showed only 3 matches - but these were matches of the level of modern classics of tag team wrestling. 10 points."
4205.01.2024
16:22
[10.0] "A unique feature of ECW was the interweaving of stories, and this program was pretty long and multifaceted, including several stories such as the formation of bWo or the temporary unification of Sandman and another of Raven's worst enemies, Tommy Dreamer, so their showdowns did not get boring, constantly gaining new momentum. Raven revealed himself as a great villain and genius of mind games, enticing Sandman's wife and his son to his "Nest", and even crucifying the ECW World heavyweight champion. It was an amazing story of the destruction of the main character of the company as a person and his further return. In addition, Raven and Sandman often crossed paths after their legendary fusion - in WCW, TNA and on the independent scene. These two, I think, had chemistry in the ring and definitely had a great history together over the years."
4305.01.2024
15:54
[4.0] "Nick and Rob were initially rivals at the development level, contesting the OVW Heavyweight title, before that, being a pretty successful team. When both became participants on the main roster, they had to meet again, as part of the storyline, during which Rob, after leaving tag team division, confronted the WWE legends and their big fan Eugene who had gimmick of intellectually disabled Eric Bischoff's nephew. It was a comedy feud that did not give anything to any of the participants, the characters themselves degraded very much over the years, and were not taken seriously by anyone. Unfortunately, the wrestlers were not remembered in the big leagues, and the peak of their rivalry fell on the small halls in the development scene."
4405.01.2024
15:34
[7.0] "A rivalry between two brawlers showing brutal hardcore brawls. They didn't often get high-quality matches from the point of view of in-ring action, but they ideologically suited each other perfectly and in general it was quite interesting to watch the confrontation between two such cruel unscrupulous tough guys."

4804.01.2024

[2.0] "Bull Pain was Ian's last opponent in ECW before he left the company and began performing in lesser-known independent companies, combining wrestling with promotion. Rotten became the owner of IWA Mid-South, where Pain also performed for a long time, and they periodically met in the ring. Both were mediocre hardcore wrestlers who did not achieve much success, and Ian never reached the same level of popularity as during his battles with storyline brother in ECW."

[9.0] "The rivalry, which has become perhaps one of the key ones in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, the two have met in the ring about two hundred times, starting from their joint debut in 1991 and up to 2001, the year when Hayabusa ended his career. Their careers have always been intertwined and they had an amazing history of friendship-enmity, which took quite unexpected turns, such as Mr. Gannosuke becoming Hayabusa. Their match on the anniversary show with Shawn Michaels as a referee looked like a perfect culmination of their story, although some of their meetings raise certain questions, such as their infamous match on the Making Of A New Legend IV - Tag 7. In any case, no matter what, Hayabusa and Gannosuke have an amazing long history, during which the characters and their motivations have repeatedly changed, and this long story is quite personal for both."
