He gets out there and what he sees he tells. And I gotta tell something to you, Mr. Brill-Queen, and that is this: I've been noticing out there that them fans just don't seem responding to you. Now how do you feel right now in the World Wrestling Federation about how the fans are taking to you?"

The Honky Tonk Man: "The Honky Tonk Man don't feel good at all. You know I've done everything am man can do. I went out there, I shook a lotta greasy hands, I kissed a lotta ugly babies, but The Honky Tonk Man is not getting the response he deserves. You know when my music plays, Jesse The Body, people should stand up screamin' an shoutin'. They should be dancin' in the aisles right now. They should be shakin', rattlin' an rollin'. But they're not doin' it and I don't understand it, because I've done everyhing a man can do to make the people in the World Wrestling Federation appreciate good talent. And I don't understand, I'm lookin' for something, I don't know what I need. Maybe I need a sign from somewhere."
