"I'm sorry that you are by far the worst announcer in WWE history"

[Michael Cole steht mit Security im Ring.]

Michael Cole: "Ladies and Gentlemen... Ladies and Gentlemen, I promise I'm not gonna take up much of your time here tonight; there are four men in the locker room area who are battling to try to become the WWE's next breakout star and I understand that this program is not about me, but I do want to address something that happened here on this program last week. It was the most dramatic, the most unprofessional thing that has ever happened to me in my career and I'd like you to take another look.

I still have problems watching that. It has been an extremely dramatic week for me. And because of what happened last week, I have been meeting with my team of attorneys. Now, my attorneys have advised me to have my own personal security here tonight for my own well being. Now, with that being said I also understand from my legal team that I can sue Daniel Bryan for everything he's worth for what he did to me last week. However, however, however I'm gonna be more a man than Daniel Bryan ever was. I am gonna give him the opportunity to walk out here to this ring tonight and publicly apologize to me in front of all of you. And if he doesn't do that--well, then I'm taking him to court. So, Daniel Bryan, what's it gonna be, you have your opportunity right now to make this all right. Let me know what you're gonna do. [Nichts passiert.] Let's go! [Noch immer nichts passiert.] Well, I guess that's--"

[Das NXT-Theme ertönt und Daniel Bryan kommt zum Ring.]

Daniel Bryan: "Michael! Michael, listen, I'm gonna apologize. There is no need for this security company, man, there's no need."
Michael Cole: "You expect me to believe that you're gonna apologize? After what you did last week you're gonna apologize?"

Daniel Bryan: "Listen, being in the WWE is my dream, man, and right now I don't even have a job, okay!? My dream is to headline WrestleMania..."
Michael Cole: "That's your fault, by the way. [lacht]"

Daniel Bryan: "Be that as it may, if this is what it's gonna take to make things right, this is what I'm gonna do. You don't need these guys here."
Michael Cole: "So, you tell me you're gonna apologize?"

Daniel Bryan: "Yeah, yeah, I'll apologize to you tonight."
Michael Cole: "Okay, well, I told you I'll be a man about this, then I shake your hand, let bygones be bygones. You're really serious about this?"

Daniel Bryan: "Yeah, yeah, I promise."
Michael Cole: "You admit that you stepped over the line last week?"

Daniel Bryan: "I did, I did things last week that I probably shouldn't have done."
Michael Cole: "Okay. Guys, I live up to my promise. Thanks, you guys can leave, but don't--hey, stay right outside the ring. Right outside here."

[Ein paar lautstarke Fans chanten "Kick his head in" in Anlehnung an Bryans Indy-Vergangenheit.]

Daniel Bryan: "Michael, I just wanna say right now that I'm sorry. I'm really, really truly sorry."
Michael Cole: "You really are?"

Daniel Bryan: "Yeah, yeah, I'm truly sorry."
Michael Cole: "So this is it, it's all over?"

Daniel Bryan: "All over, all over."

[Cole reicht Bryan die Hand, dieser ergreift sie und lässt sie nicht mehr los.]

Daniel Bryan: "Michael Cole, I'm sorry--"
Michael Cole: "Thank you, I do appreciate that."

Daniel Bryan: "...I'm sorry that you are by far the worst announcer in WWE history."
Michael Cole: "You're kidding me!"

Daniel Bryan: "What, you wanna be a man and you can't even escape a handshake!? [Cole winkt seine Security in den Ring.] I thought you told about being a man!? What? Oh, a man hides behind security guards, a man hides behind announce tables, is that what a man does? Is that what a man does? From day one since I've been here, WWE management has tried to hold me back. They put me with The Miz, who is by far the worst pro out there. And when he even bothered to show--"
Michael Cole: "Hey, listen to me now, listen to me!"

Daniel Bryan: "When he--"
Michael Cole: "Listen to me!"

Daniel Bryan: "What? When he even bothered to show up all he talked about was himself. Okay!?"
Michael Cole: "Listen to me! One time!"

Daniel Bryan: "And then for you, for you to rib me behind that announcer's table, when you not once, you never earned that job!"
Michael Cole: "You know why I ribbed you?"

Daniel Bryan: "You never got that, you never got that because you were good, you never got that because you were still--"
Michael Cole: "Do you wanna know the truth? You wanna know the truth?"

Daniel Bryan: "Yeah, let me know the truth! Give me the truth!"
Michael Cole: "I'll tell you what the truth is!"

Daniel Bryan: "What's the truth?"
Michael Cole: "You know why I ribbed you?"

Daniel Bryan: "Why?"
Michael Cole: "Because you did deserve it."

Daniel Bryan: "What?!?"
Michael Cole: "That's why I ribbed you."

Daniel Bryan: "What? I have more heart than anybody in this locker room, I am by far the best wrestler in the back."

Michael Cole: "Listen to me! Listen to me! You may be the best wrestler in the back, but you lacked in one thing: You're no longer in this competition. Maybe you should take a look in the mirror, maybe you should look at yourself one time. Maybe you should take a step back and stop making excuses, and stop blaming The Miz and stop blaming me and stop blaming management and take a deep down look inside yourself. You did not have what it took to be here. You know why? You walk around talking about how you're the submission specialist, how was your motto: 'Snap or tap'? The only person I saw tap in this whole competition was YOU! You tapped out of this competition and you know why you tapped out? You tapped out, Daniel Bryan, because you're a loser! You tapped out because losers have no heart!"

[Mit dem letzten Wort ohrfeigt Cole Bryan, woraufhin er aus dem Ring flüchtet. Bryan wird von der Security zurückgehalten, kann sich allerdings befreien und verfolgt Cole. Er slamt diesen gegen die Absperrung und die Security greift ein. Als Bryan weggezerrt wird, wird er noch von The Miz konfrontiert, der sich einen Schlag einfängt, wonach die Security auch diese beiden trennen muss.]

The Miz: "Get him out of here! Get him out!"

Michael Cole: "Maniac! Maniac!"
